Alexander Greingoth EraAll historical records pertaining to Ministry of Magic RPG under Minister for Magic, Alexander Greingoth [IC January 2076 - December 2081; OOC January 2012 - June 2013]
"We don't have much time and we need to move. We need four teams. Team one will go for Borr. Restrain him and get him to the holding cells on level 2 by whatever means necessary. Don't expect it to be easy work. Team two will look to subdue Sakura. The man is not as gentle as you might think and he could be anywhere right now. He is certainly a murderer and a torturer. Use whatever force is necessary and be on guard."
That was two.
"Team three, look for D'Isigny. He's wiley and might have flown the coop by now but search the Ministry from top to bottom, and if you find any unguarded floos, follow them. Check Diagon Alley if you have to. Gringotts, the Daily Prophet and Ollivanders all have know cult ties. They are all loyal to him and each of the Cultists will fight to ensure his safety."
"Team four will be roaming. You may need to provide extra support to those at the picket line. aside from Martel D'Isigny and Ren Sakura, keep a look out for Charles D'Isigny, Christelle Rochebarron, Andrina Rochebarron, Gretchen Montasio, Ennis Provel, Alexander Wrekin and of course Ikenna Gevrik. Most of them haven't been seen in the vicinity for a while, but this is the time they are likely to show up if at all." And of course, they already had Shanklish. "Note that we have finally the missing shopkeepers and much of the crime against muggleborns over the past several years to the cult and particularly Wrekin, Sakura and Provel are dangerous and will not hesitate to hex to harm."
"Once we secure the Cultists, Greingoth will step up and take charge of the Ministry, and restore order. Be aware that some people we know and trust might try to stop you. Guard your minds. Any questions?"
Make them quick people.

Dean rolled his sleeves while with his wand in hand. Once again, he wasn't the bubbly Dean of MLES anymore. From the look on his face, I'm going to shove each of them into Azkaban prison was clearly written. When he joined the MLE, he knew well that the Ministry has already been taken over by the Cult. That was the actual reason he joined the Ministry, to overthrow the Cult's regime. Albeit there were few things getting into his mind right now.
The idea that this was the Cult's idea to lure the MLE out and ambush them scared the the dung out of him. Another thought he had was the Cult had not revealed their secret weapon yet. Or was Dean had been influenced by MLE's paranoia? Either way, it didn't do any good to the young man's mentality. Hist thought quickly became of his mother. He prayed that they won't find her.
Intensely, he listened to the other MLE'ers volunteering to work in the groups Bole had appointed. Sure, he would love some action. Dragging Borr to level two cell room with a wheelbarrow or perhaps subduing Sakura? But he realised that Lights was the only one who volunteer. Although, the other departments were at the picket line will be able to hold off Sakura and probably other Cult members. There must be someone powerful among the protesters. And he bet Ethan won't let anyone lay a finger on Lights. Especially not after what Victor did. "I'll go with Wes & Izzy," spoke Dean seriously with flame of enthusiasm visible in his eyes. Not that he'd like to crash their time together, but searching for D'Isigny might be the best job for Dean. After all, he was a former detective assistant.
Lights bit her lip, glancing at the entrance. She knew which one was the safest option - but since when did Lights care about the safest option? Since you got pregnant ... oh yeah. That. Damn. Lights suddenly just wanted to get out there and DO something, anything. Her baby had survived the Cruciatus Curse, it couldn't get worse than that.
"Team Four," decided Lights. "We'll probably need to be the biggest, since we've got to look for quite a few people." She glanced around. Hint hint ...
OOC: There're a few Cultists at the Picket Line, people! Including Ren Sakura ...
And also ... I'm pretending Lights knows this, but I don't; do we actually attempt to arrest them? Obvious question, but I don't want to assume and be wrong
Tegz: Thats true but remember y'all aren't psychic so people would need to actually look and not immediately know thats where they are
Ben had been silent until this point, he had been sat in his chair his eyes darting from person to person. He notice not many other people had offered their services to team four. He stood up, smiling at the woman. "m'names Benjamin Stanley, Deputy Cheif Inspector." he smiled, his usual persona had been creeping back into him slowly. His American accent was back at least! "I'll be in your team if you'll take me?"

Besides the fat lump didn't seem that dangerous. And if he was Skander knew enough to be able to help, he was also stronger than he looked, which could be to his advantage in this situation. The best thing though was that they could use whatever means they had too, to subdue their targets.
Roxi turned to the man who'd joined them and introduced herself to him, too. After all it wouldn't look so good if they went in there not knowing each other's names. "I'm Roxi," she said, holding her hand for him to shake.

Lights smiled gratefully at Benjamin. "Thanks, that would be great." She held out her hand. "I'm Lights Lennox." She winced. "Excuse the alliteration. I'm a Security Officer." She was quite glad to have someone else on team four, and especially someone knew seemed to know what he was doing. Not that she didn't - she just didn't want to be stuck with a dependant person.
Hawk listened to what Bole said. Good. They were getting rid of the Cult. He really seemed to have planned it out.

He didn't think taking Borr was what he wanted to do. It seemed too easy, Borr was just a puppet. Team four had the fewest people so far, and they needed to track down several people. "I'll be on team four."

This was technically a good day. Any day that you were taking down an evil cult that had taken over a ministry had to be a good one. Not that he'd had any previous experience on that front, but it sure felt like a good day.

Because Isobel knew she was good, but she wouldn't be able to do this on her own.

Obviously, wherever Izzy went, Wes would go. Apparently he wasn't the only one who thought so, too, since Dean was enthusiastically pairing him and her together. Wes almost facepalmed his own head at the sight of the young man's enthusiasm, even if he was right.
"All right, Team Three, this way. You heard Van: We need to search the entire Ministry and then head out to Diagon Alley and beyond. The last thing we want is the brains behind this whole Cult escaping justice!" Wes threw a fist-pump up in the air. Go Team Three!

Lights nodded at Ebony. "Thank you," she said. Then she turned to the rest of the group, which had a grand total of ... three. Three people finding a quite a large number of Cultists. She surveyed her team. "Okay, Ebony and Ben - can I call you Ben?" She didn't wait for confirmation, but went on. "We'd better start at the picket line, since it is pretty obvious. I did some research on the Cult, and I think I can identify most of their members on sight."

"We have to detain them," replied Lights. "Distract them. Get them to the Level Two holding cells if you can. But remember that just because they're not top dogs doesn't mean they don't have nasty bites. Be careful, and have your wand ready. If you need backup, call for it." I.e., don't play single hero. Lights had tried that before, and it had only gotten her hurt and put her baby's life in danger. "Watch each other's backs," she finished. "If someone else needs help, give it. Our first priority is getting the Cultists to the holding cells without them injuring anybody." Because that would be disastrous.

No objections? Yaaay!! Arresting D'Isigny will should be fun despite the fact that Dean didn't know much about him. Besides, they might need his niffler attitude to sniff for D'Isigny Senior. "Shall we go undercover or...?" he asked without finishing the question. Wes should know it.

"No." Wes just shook his head abruptly, glancing around the Atrium as if D'Insigny would just be hanging out there. Hah. He'd likely be in the Minister's Office, if he were still here at all. "That won't be necessary, Dean, since it's pretty public that the Cult is going down now."
Hell yes they were!

Dean nodded to Wes' decision. He had his point, anyway. When Wes said the the Cult was going down, Dean felt like a squirrel on sugar rush. He felt like leaping, but managed to refrain himself. D'Isigny Senior could be anywhere. Perhaps he had even made his move when they were talking. "Are we splitting up or moving in group?" asked the youngest among the third group since they had to cover a wide perimetre to hunt down the puppet master.

A YATI would be on her team. She would look after him but not babysit. She did however have a weird feeling about this one. Fresh meat rarely go for the big boys, she'd have to watch him.
She holstered her second wand after inspecting it. Her mind was sharpening even more as the seconds went by. She was examining all possibilities and formulating as well.
Turning to Emily she said,"Don't second guess, that'll get you hurt or killed." Her words were sharp and harsh but necessary. It was not the time to be gentle but to be direct and concise."Watch your back, not everyone is really your friend."
Wand pointed away from her? Did she think he was actually that stupid? Sure he was only a YATI but he still had some level of skill. "You don't have to worry about me Dacs." He said with a slight nod. "I won't mess up or anything." Or he would try his hardest not to.
Legend had waited for a moment like this forever, and he wasn't going to mess it up now.

"Are we splitting up or moving in group?" asked the youngest among the third group since they had to cover a wide perimetre to hunt down the puppet master.
As Wes joined the group, Dorian had stepped forward slightly more. Nobody had apparently even noticed he'd offered to be part of the group, even as another MLE member had joined Izzy and mentioned Wes even before the man had returned. It just reminded him that most of these people were on the opposite side of Level Two, but he wasn't going to back down. Not when the cult was involved, the apparent mobilization of the takedown, and not when he'd be able to actually get out of the office. He had a feeling Lorelai was going to be happier once he felt like he could actually spend more time at his flat, even if the phoenix rarely showed her disappointment when he'd actually gone home over the past several months.
Isobel hadn't spoken again, which made him figure Wes had taken over as team leader. Therefore, he stepped towards his old housemate as the younger MLEer continued to clarify the plan. "I'd suggest we all start on Level One, then split up to cover the Ministry quicker. Convene back here if we don't locate D'Isigny, then move out to Diagon and elsewhere," he spoke up as he came up next to the other men, keeping his statement worded so as to not step on any toes. He had a feeling D'Isigny was smarter than to hide out anywhere in the building, however. Therefore the search was going to take a bit more work than usual. Just as he had a feeling tracking the Cult leader wasn't going to be half as easy as tracking certain others. Either way, action was welcome, and he had his wands at the ready.

There were often people milling about in the atrium, but Esme had never seen this many people gathered all at once place. Her quick steps slowed as she reached the fountain, and her gaze moved from person to person. What was going on? And what...
Her eyes zeroed in on Mr. Bole; the head of her department. He was saying something about groups, and calling out names that she was none too familiar with.
Oh, and there was Izzy. And Emily.
For a moment, she hesitated. Was this something to do with the cult? It wouldn't surprise her if it did. If this was the reason behind such a gathering...Esme wanted to know what was going on.
Her eyes narrowed briefly in determination before she slipped her way through the crowd and towards Evander. "Sir." She began. "If you don't mind the intrusion...what exactly is going on here and what can I do to help?"

It didn't really surprise her when Wesley chose to go on team 3 too. She had a kind of inkling that he would go where she would, but Isobel really hoped he didn't try to do something silly like protect her. And apparently Dean had thought that Wes would automatically come with her. Were they really that obvious? Ha. Maybe they would need to tone down things a bit. "Nice to have you on the team Ferguson." Isboel grinned at him, as she wandered over to where him and Dean were. They were going to make an epic team. She knew it.
"Calm down lo..." She paused, before she said it, grinning at him. It was cute to see him getting really into this, but they really did have a job too. Ooh. Someone else was on their team too. Awesome. The blonde auror listened to what Dorian had to say, before talking. "Dorian's got the idea..." She nodded with a smile. They'd go faster by splitting up. "I'd say we split into pairs though..." You know. Just incase something did happen.

Aubrie listened and looked around. She knew who all of these people were, slightly. "I'll go on three and look for D'Insigney," she stated looking around for other team memebers, it looked like she was with Wes, and Isobel, the head auror. Well she was in good hands than for a hard mission. But, she was well used to being stealthy so she would hopefully be good for this job.
Blue eyes rolled to the speaking man. Dean had never seen before, thus concluding that he was from other division. He realised Izzy wasn't speaking, so assumed that Wes had taken over the group. But then again, this other man spoke like he had been in this field for a long time. This made Dean the only inexperienced member of team three. He felt humble for a moment, but was determined to bring down the Cult.
Dean nodded once in respond to the speaking man's plan. D'Isigny wasn't dumb. If what he heard was true; D'Isigny was the true leader of the Cult of Walpurgis, then they he was going to face the most dangerous wizard ever (aside from Victor). "Got it. So, if one of us caught him, what should we do?" he asked to clarify the action needed to be taken. Amateur question, but they were sayings that if you don't ask, you'll get lost.
SPOILER!!: Izzy

Dean never expected that Izzy and Wes were that close. They were like a magnet and a metal. Although, he understood Wes' desire to protect the one he cared about. Heh! He would've done the same if Chelsea got involved. "The pleasure's mine," replied Dean as the auror welcomed him. It wasn't like they weren't familiar with each other. The three of them worked in the same room.
So, the other guy's name was Dorian. Dean smiled, glancing at Wes. His eyes clearly said that he agreed with Izzy and Dorian's idea was brilliant. Without saying a word, Dean kept his attention on the three seniors if they had any more ideas to share.
SPOILER!!: Aubrie

One more team member. Good. The more people they had the easier it would be to take Sakura down right? "Welcome to the team. I think we are going to be following what Dacs says." It made sense to him. He was awesome yeah, but Legend couldn't lead people going into this.
Sapphira moved towards the rest of Team 2. "Thanks," she replied, feeling a bit weird. Who's Dacs? she asked that little voice in her head.

She really didn't know how to respond to this so she said something very smart like: "Uhh, thanks?". This must be Dacs, she thought.

The large Lynx came bounding around the fountain, silver wisp's being left in it's wake. It stopped in front of the MLE Department Head, and in among the gathered crowd. Opening it's mouth it delivered the message.

Recard summoned via patronus. There was a distraction. He apparated and is on the loose somewhere. On my way back down.
With a bow of it's head the Lynx disappeared in a puff of smoke.
Damien turned to see Gabe's patronus. GREAT. Recard was on the loose. Perhaps he should have gone to the office with him and then tied him to the chair as he had wanted.
Sighing slightly he looked toward Van and said, "I will wait for Gabe and then I will join Dacs and Chosen." Not LEAD the group, but join them and go after Sakura. He was one of the nastier of the cult and to be quite frank he was hoping for a fight right now.

D'Isigny Senior could be anywhere. Perhaps he had even made his move when they were talking. "Are we splitting up or moving in group?" asked the youngest among the third group since they had to cover a wide perimetre to hunt down the puppet master.

Oh. There was Dorian; Wes wondered why he hadn't seen him before! Then again, it was rather loud in the Atrium with pretty much the entire Department of Magical Law Enforcement gathered around...his head spun just taking it all in.
"Pairs sound good," he spoke up suddenly, nodding at Dorian. "We can alternate levels; Izzy and I will take the even ones if you and Dean want to do the odds. And then whoever else joins us can search areas like the Atrium here and I don't know... whatever we miss."
He looked around at the assembled crowd and looked at Dean. So full of questions he was. "Communicate via Patronus if need be. Got it?"
