Wes slowly uncrossed his arms, relaxing a bit as Van diffused the situation with Gina and the witch went back outside to the picket line. He was starting to make his way over to his boss when of course he couldn't help but hear the latest rant from Armen.
Wes just stared at the Transportation Head, and then started laughing abruptly, loud and long, laughing right in his face, even though he was hardly standing near the man.
"You heard, Gabe," he called out toward Recard. "Come quietly and there will be no problems." Wes started twirling his wand between his fingers, smirking as he just HOPED for an excuse to use.... necessary force.... on the man.
After finishing yelling at Evander and looking wearily at Gabe who was instructed to take him away, the idiot Wes began to laugh uncontrollably. "Oh Wes, you're mature." he said ready to grab his wand and send a particularly nasty curse at the guy. He was already bad in Armen's book and the laughing didn't help his case.
"I will speak with you later." he sneered. Oh yes he would.

Don't want the poor man to have a funny turn here by the fountain do we?" Turning his head to Recard, Gabe smiled, a glint of something twinkling in his eye. Oh, he was going to enjoy a little one on one time.
He really did look like a five year old having a tantrum. It was rather amusing. But Gabriel kept a cool demeanour. Taking another step towards the man, Gabe moved his face closer, ignoring the paddy in front of him. "And you are the one currently creating a scene. So before I arrest you for that, I suggest you see sense and come with me to your office." His tone was quiet but firm. He would get his wand out if need be. "De-stress maybe. Have a sit down and a nice drink. Whether you do that is up to you, Recard - and whether I have to use force to get you there is also up to you."
You know, come quietly and we won't have any problems.

"Don't get your wands in a bunch you gnomes." he shouted at them and then turned to look at all the MLE employees gathered around Bole. Hoping to Merlin they weren't going to reach out and take his arms, the Dept Head exclaimed to them as he passed. "I can walk on my own!" They were lucky he didn't just Apparate back. He stalked ahead of them not looking back to see if they were following.

Reason: Making it make more sense.
Inwardly Gabriel was laughing his head off. Not only was he going to be escorting Recard back to his office, but now Damien was going to help as well. This part of the day had just got better. Turning his head to look at his friend, Gabe rolled his eyes and smirked. He was hoping, just a little bit, that Armen did something to warrant them using force.
The man really should have taken up dramatics, he was quite good at it. Gabe raised his eyebrows in a completely unimpressed way, when Armen shouted at them again. His threats and histrionics were getting old, and frankly rather laughable. It was hardly as if he was one of the top brass in the Cult. "If it means removing you, and all the other imbeciles, we're ready for anything." He was fairly certain that applied to all of the department.
As the idiot stalked past them, and over to the lifts, Gabe was tempted to stick his leg out and trip him up. But it was more important to get him shut away in the office. Walk on his own? Heh. "Are you sure about that? I would have thought your back would be too painful, considering all the bending you do to lick the boots of Borr."
Grinning at Damien, Gabe walked off to catch up with Recard - imagining all the spells he could launch at him from behind his back.

Oh Wesley. Isobel shot him a grin. He would react like that, which she did find pretty funny, but it probably wasn't a good idea right now. She didn't exactly what Armen hexing him. "Wes...." Yeah, she didn't want him hexing the department head either. Probably wouldn't be a good idea right now. "Come on." She nudged him, smiling. They had better things to do, and she knew he'd get to do what he wanted eventually. Now wasn't the time.
Ahh. Armen was going. Good Ridance. The blonde watched him walk away for a few moments, before she headed over to where Evander was, stopping when she was by Emily.

Damien was not impressed with the man from the moment he met him and he just continued to prove that his initial impression was indeed correct. This dude was a moron. For sure. Rolling his eyes at the shouty man he looked to Gabe. "Did you hear that? He is threatening people. Does that sound like something an esteemed Department Head should be doing?" he asked calmly. Yep. Still calm. Calm before the storm perhaps.
Gabe and Damien must be on the same wavelength, because the older gentleman thought about perhaps pushing or tripping Armen as well. Hehe. But seeing as there were witnesses around and all that, he would not do such a thing. Heh. He did start after the man with Gabe and cast a glance back to Van and the rest. He would be back in a moment, soon as he helped Gabe get the moron to his cage. Maybe they could poke him with a stick or something once they got him there.

Could Recard get any thicker?.. or any more annoying?
Emily's fingers were burning, itching to retrieve her wand and put him in his place. It wouldn't be the first time. But instead she remained calm, attempting to clear herself of all emotion... yes, the anger management classes were going well, even if they were a bit of a joke.
She didn't say anything. Partly because there was nothing for her to say, so therefore there was no reason for her to speak. No... she would wait for orders.
He couldn't help but to smile which eventually turned into a grin seeing Recard throwing tantrums as he spat threats to them. Dean thought he needed to learn anger management, but it seems like Recard was the one who needed it now. To think about MT employees working under that man... Poor things. Having an idiotic git as an employer.
Things seemed to be under control now he could put away his wand. Seeing Recard being escorted by Gabriel and Damien (who looked like they're enjoying themselves) was rather entertaining. How did the Cult handle Recard at wrong times, heavens know.

Roxi just rolled her eyes and shook her head at the tantrum- throwing man. Really?! That wasn't the way adults were supposed to act. She smirked as the men Mr. Bole had asked to escort Recard walked over there. That had to be humiliating! He had it coming though. Roxi just kept her mouth shut, figuring that no words were needed from her.

"I swear on my life." Evander answered seriously, but he looked a bit concerned for the old woman's health. What in Circe's name possessed her to galavant in a fountain? And step down? That was a concern, if she didn't feel well enough to continue, but it just meant his timing was good. A riot would have certainly ensued had she passed out in the fountain while tempers were still high and wands were still raised.
He looked for this Gavin person, eyes settling on the man as Gina addressed him.
"Perhaps, after you arrange for someone to help Gina, you can keep the protest going outside." Evander spoke quietly. "We need it to continue and for certain.... individuals.... not to be allowed in -or out- of the ministry. Can I count on you for that?" Could Gina count on this man for that?
Evander lowered his own hand and stepped back, confident that Gina's people would help her and continue the protest outside.
Besides. There was fish to fry. Van turned slowly and fixed his eyes on Recard.
"On the contrary, its more than right. Its the only option left to us. But you seem... a little under the weather, Recard." Growly Evander. "I think you had best return to your office at once."
He looked around. Oh. Good.
"Gabe here will help you out."
"If you wouldn't mind, Gabriel." The man would make a marvellous escort, wouldn't he? "Our friend Recard here needs a bit of help returning to his office, and perhaps it might be worthwhile.... keeping an eye on him for a while. For his own safety of course. He seems just a little... stressed out."
---
Van addressed all those gathered around the fountain.
"If you're protesting, please, by all means continue to do so with the full support of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, only we request that you move outside once more and humbly suggest that nobody is allowed in, or out of the Ministry of Magic until this travesty of a government is corrected and restored."
He stepped out of the water and looked around for his own people, intending to move right away.
"MLE, to me, if you would. We have work to do."
Hawk nodded. 'Yes sir." and he walked towards him to hear future orders.
Don't Cross the Book | who turned out the | Lights Lennox
Lights grinned openly. Recard was almost better than throwing temper tantrums than her four-year-olds! Bellissa would scream until she was blue in the face, and then try the 'cute eyes', which unfortunately seemed to work rather well on Ethan. Ezekiel would shout and then give you the evil eyes for a whole week. But Recard ... that sort of behaviour was not appropriate for a grown man. Lights had a sudden urge to walk over to him and tell him to go sit in the naughty corner, but she suppressed it. As tempting as it was, it looked like Gabriel and and the other guy had it covered.
Aubrie walked over to where her boss was standing. "I'm listening," she said quickly. Aubrie hadn't really been her long enough to understand what was really going on here but knew she was going to support her department. She looked around at the other people waiting for further instruction.
Skander had been watching the events unfold from a safe distance. While he supported what was happening he wasn't going to attempt to get in the middle of it. Of course he could still hear Recard being annoying, and it was quite amusing to see him get told off. Quite amusing indeed. No, he wasn't going to do anything.
At least until Van called for them.
As soon as he shouted for all MLE employees Skander began pushing his way through people to reach the rest of the department. He didn't know what they were going to do but he'd follow his boss if it was within his power to do so. After all, Borr needed to go. Even if they couldn't get rid of the cult they could at least make sure Borr no longer ruled over the ministry.
Coming to a stop next to other MLE'rs Skander gave his full attention to Van, waiting patiently to hear what he wanted them to do.

"We'll be at the picket line." She said nodding. "But we're going to be more agressive! No one in. No one out. Make him leave, Evander... Make. Him. Leave."
"We'll be sitting around having hot chocolate and sharing some of your cookies in no time, Gina." Van said gravely.
She could count on them, and Evander was certain that Gina could be counted on too.

"You can count on us...me." he added his wand tucking back into its holster but his fingers not leaving it, as he glanced around at the others.
"Thank you." Evander responded and then watched the protesters leave to take secure the exit.

Recard wondered if Borr had even heard about this yet and he added it to his list of things to report to him when Evander finished speaking with Gina, who looked weary, and turned to blab at him.
"Under the weather?! What are you on about Bole?" he said getting angrier after the nonsense pouring out of the man's trap. But before he could come back with a witty and demeaning retort, his arch enemy was ordering one of his men to take him away.
"You've got to be kidding me!" he said looking at Gabe and then back at Van outraged. "I will stay here if I please, this is the Ministry's Atrium, and I am loyal to the Ministry and it's minister. You lot are the one's who have gone looney and should be removed!"
He stood there smoldering.
"You would do well to keep silent around your betters, Recard." And that meant anyone who was currently near the fountain, and anyone who was willing to pull a wand on the man. His posturing wouldn't protect him now.

It was a strange, but reassuring turn of events. While he would have liked to see Damon take on so many people all on his own, he hadn't wanted to see it with this group; they were, after all, just trying to do what they thought right.
His attention returned to Evander, feet taking him a few steps closer. "Sir." Waiting for orders. Ready for duty. It was all self-explanatory why he was standing there. The less that was said, the quicker things would get solved.

ooc: Whew. There's a lot going on isn't there? Choose which team you want your character to go on, keeping in mind that some might be more dangerous than others and you should keep your character's skill set and training in mind! Also if it seems like there are far more people on one team than another, it'd be epic for your character to go where needed, right? I promise you everyone will get a chance to get in on the 'action'.
You don't need to rush too much! And have fun everyone. Non MLErs are WELCOME to join in and help out, or encouraged to join the Picket Line if you prefer.

Dacs who was quiet for the most part stepped up and said,"I'll ride herd on Sakura, team two. I can handle him if he tries anything tricky." It was job and the day finally came when she could move in like a predator on the wicked prey that diminished her haven, the ministry.
She was not in the mood to joke or be sarcastic. The trained auror and black ops agent came out raw and ready."Let's clean house. We've been waiting a long time for this, for justice. I'm just glad that I do some damage and you won't doc my pay." she said to her boss and she took out her second wand from her right boot.

Emily listened and nodded at the appropritate times. Teams? The thought of getting into teams was exhilirating. Things were finally happening. But at the same time... it meant that things were getting serious. Someone was bound to get hurt sooner or later. She couldn't bear the thought of one of her team mates being the one to take the curse...
Her fear wasn't for herself, she was impervious to it. Didn't care about her own well being. No. First and foremost, she worried about her fellow YATI's, both Sabel and Chosen. They were a team... even if they might not be on the same team this time round.
As much as she would love to take on Wrekin, the handsome but deadly culty, she figured that might be a foolish move on her part. She was only a YATI, even if she had a big ego to match the smiling assassin. "I'll go team one.. Borr." Then perhaps if they got around to it they could help the others out at the picket line. "Fat lump needs to be taught a lesson." ... and she would do her best to make him cry.
Glancing around at the group, she waited to see who would join her.
Sabel remained dead silent at Gabe and Damien's side, listening to all that Evander had to say. His body felt like it wanted to separate into several directions all at once. On the one hand he wanted to join Emily, half to make sure she would be okay and half to finally bring down the ol' lump that was their minister. On the other hand, he wanted nothing more than to have a go at Wrekin and Ikenna. Ikenna especially; the one that had done more than enough to threaten those people and things he cared about. The one that had walked through Hogwarts with such an air of control it had turned his gut inside and out.
But he knew all the impulses were dangerous. All the options were dangerous. And while he didn't really care what danger he was in, if it meant protecting those that he loved and what was right, he had learned that rushing in headlong would only endanger himself and those he was with.
It took a lot of self restraint and willpower, but he kept quiet. His mind needed to think without the heat of an irrational impulse, and he knew he had to wait to see where support was needed. He wasn't an Auror, he was a YATI, and though he trusted his skills he was not a top dog. Not yet. Not for a long time.
So he would do what he could to best serve the MLE. And that was to take a breather and just...breathe. And of course cast Emily a look that said 'be careful'.

Roxi listened closely to Mr. Bole's speech. When he told them about the teams, she almost instantly which team she should be on. She wasn't a very good fighter, and how much of a fighter could a fat lump be? " I'll take Borr as well," she said moving to stand alongside the younger woman.

Teams? Right. Clearly this was big. And by big he meant BIG. But not like that old Muggle movie. No. That was something completely different.
Legend shook his head clear of all this thoughts. He was ready for this. He was. He wanted to do anything he COULD to help. The Cult was clearly going down and he couldn't wait. "I'll go on team two!" The words had left his mouth before he even realized.
Two was a good number right?
What did he have to do again?...Something. Sakura. Take him down right? Two just seemed right. He looked over toward Emily. She was not on his team and the thought was a little saddening...only a little of course. She was crazy. So it wasn't that big of a deal.

The look didn't go unnoticed, and she couldn't help but smile. They'd come such a long way, and the last thing she wanted now was to lose her best friend... her brother. I'll be careful she mouthed to him.

Emily caught Chosen looking at her. What was he looking at? He might want to take a picture, it would last longer. But either way, the lad was growing on her a bit. Sort of like fungus... you didn't want it, didn't like it, but couldn't help it. And when cooked it didn't taste so bad. Hhhmmm.
She gave him a small nod of the head, in the way that said Take Care.

Dacs looked at the YATI and said,"Chosen, you're with me. Keep your eyes open and your wand pointed away from me. And watch your back, this isn't training." in a serious and deadly tone.
A YATI would be on her team. She would look after him but not babysit. She did however have a weird feeling about this one. Fresh meat rarely go for the big boys, she'd have to watch him.
She holstered her second wand after inspecting it. Her mind was sharpening even more as the seconds went by. She was examining all possibilities and formulating as well.
Turning to Emily she said,"Don't second guess, that'll get you hurt or killed." Her words were sharp and harsh but necessary. It was not the time to be gentle but to be direct and concise."Watch your back, not everyone is really your friend."

'I'll go on team one,' Skander declared, stepping up towards where the two women who had also volunteered for team one were standing. He figured it would be the safest option, and since he was only a Wizengamot employee, not an auror, he figured he might just hinder the others who were dealing with more dangerous people. After all everyone knew that Borr was only a puppet.
Besides the fat lump didn't seem that dangerous. And if he was Skander knew enough to be able to help, he was also stronger than he looked, which could be to his advantage in this situation. The best thing though was that they could use whatever means they had too, to subdue their targets.

Lights bit her lip, glancing at the entrance. She knew which one was the safest option - but since when did Lights care about the safest option? Since you got pregnant ... oh yeah. That. Damn. Lights suddenly just wanted to get out there and DO something, anything. Her baby had survived the Cruciatus Curse, it couldn't get worse than that.
"Team Four," decided Lights. "We'll probably need to be the biggest, since we've got to look for quite a few people." She glanced around. Hint hint ...
OOC: There're a few Cultists at the Picket Line, people! Including Ren Sakura ...
And also ... I'm pretending Lights knows this, but I don't; do we actually attempt to arrest them? Obvious question, but I don't want to assume and be wrong
Tegz: Thats true but remember y'all aren't psychic so people would need to actually look and not immediately know thats where they are

Teams. But which one to choose? Now Isobel really did want to take Borr out. That would be fun, but she knew with her training, and her experience that going on another team would be more useful. It was like some internal battle that was going on in her brain for a few seconds. But, then she'd decided. "I'll take team 3." You know, because nobody had said they'd be on that team yet. And because, however much she wanted to take Borr down, she knew she'd be more effective on this team. Isobel glanced around, looking at the MLErs gathered around her. So who was joining her? Because Isobel knew she was good, but she wouldn't be able to do this on her own.

Damien returned a few moments after he left with Gabe. He was unable to take the Recard man's yammering any further. It was excruciating. Hearing what Van had to say about the MLE's job he had no smile on his face... it was going to be rough going on most everyone, that was for sure. Sliding up near Van he began to speak up to take a team, when Dacs seemingly began to lead the expedition. Well, that was fine, too, Dacs was capable. That was for sure.
Clearing his throat he looked to his friend and asked, for once, (heh) "Where do you need me, Van?" He would go where he was going to be the most use.
Let's just pretend Dorian had ended up down here. ;)

Having followed most of the other MLEers down to the Atrium as it seemed chaos was occurring, Dorian had simply observed quietly as the strikers were moved back outside and Van took over. Like he should, as obviously Recard wasn't as high and mighty as he thought. The actions of the Transportation head had certainly been amusing, and it wasn't really his place to intervene as theman was escorted elsewhere. He did wonder if Van was entirely aware that he could do more than just CMEC paperwork, but then, the man had temporarily left him in charge back at the farce that was Borr's party when he and Damien had gone to check on Hogwarts. That indicated respect, at the very least.
He stepped forward as the others in the department started splitting up into groups, however. "I'll go to team three with Isobel. It wouldn't be the first time I tracked anyone down," he said quietly. It was the first real acknowledgment he'd given to his past, but the moment seemed right. If only he'd thought to refill his espresso before he'd come down. The buzz would help with the memories that tried to push their way back at his words, but he counted on the search for D'Isigny to take the place of that. Not to mention, a bit of fighting might be good, give his wand some exercise.

Teams.
Sapphira would prefer to be in Borr's team, wanting to be part of the people who put him down, but Sakura's had less people and he himself is probably the most dangerous person in England. And she knew a big pile of curses as well, got hit by a Body-Bind Curse once when she was still at Hogwarts and started learning legal curses she could put her hands on since then. She debated for a while, made up her mind and said in a quiet voice.
