"Yeah. I hope so too. I love the environment in general, the trees, the sea, the mountains, it's everything green makes me feel peaceful and free." Peaceful is something she doesn't have around either her brother or father and free is something she desperately wants to be ever since Steve started working.

Oh. A tour? "That'd be really nice of you. I spent half an hour this day in Level four looking for the break room." She said with an awkward chuckle, "Maybe tomorrow. When is your daybreak?" She could come to his department or he could. Right?

The wish coming true was a process? Well that explains a lot. "Do I get to know what did you wish for?" She asked, the brown eyes shining curiosity. If she ever had to wish something that would come true... well, she never thought about it. Hmm.

Marina shook her head. "No. Not home yet. I was going to drink some coffee and read the schedule they handed me today. What about you?" He was single, he must've been heading somewhere other than home. He's got to. Unless his Ravenclawish instinct tells him to go home and start reviewing some laws. Hehehe.

She should get used to going to this part of the ministry soon. After all, she is working at the ministry now, even more, having Ryoma's father as her boss. She had no clue if she should be happy about that or not, but prolly she should. He isn't a mean boss anyway, he's quite...fun.

As Camellia obviously toured the place herself (and hoping for a bit to run into someone or her aunt Cath who also worked at the ministry) she really found a fondness for fountains, and the fountain at the Atrium was a spectacle. She was approaching it now, but then her eyes caught hold of someone really familiar, holding a cup of coffee and a club sandwhich. Her eyes widened. "Ryu?" she said, but then realized, he wouldn't hear her this far, nor was she even sure if it was him. She walked towards him, confirming it was indeed Ryu as she got nearer and called him. "Ryu! Fancy seeing you here. First at the bookshop and now here." She said, a bit of a joke as she chuckled, but she was really surprised to see him in the ministry. Did he have business to attend to in here? "What brings you here?"

Ryu minded his own business and enjoying himself to his food and beverage. People in the ministry are so stiff. If Ayumi thought that he was boring wait til she meets these people. Everyone is so busy, hectic. Going around and around. Some with tons of paper work, others running to catch up with their lifts.

Not that he was surprised or anything but he was bound to meet someone he knew in the past only the one who startled him was the one he knew presently. Camellia. Ryu turned to see that his guess is indeed correct.

What would she say? Last time they talked he was so sure he was going away. To Italy. Work there for about 3 to 5 years. What's his excuse now? He smiled casually to Camellia "Yeah, coincidence right?" he said to her. He had nothing else to say. Plus, he still didn't invite Camellia over to their house for that book she wanted.

"I'm working here now." surprise... surprise. "I work on Level 4. Environmental Department." he shared. He knew Camellia wanted to work in the ministry for quite sometime now, so he's guessing she's already up for work. "How about you? Which department?"

Working? He's working here? So that must mean..."you're not going to Italy?" she asked, unable to hide her smile. She was happy to know she'd be seeing Ryu around. She was about to ask which department he was in and if he was enjoying it there, when, he mentioned that he was working at the Environmental department. She stopped dead, and stared for ten seconds. Wait. Environmental? HE IS? But...she...he...why didn't they see each other on the same level?

"Funny..." she started. "I didn't see you there at first...I also work at Level four, Environmental Department. What a big coincidence." Very big indeed. "which position did you get, Ryu? I'm a junior ranger." Yeah, and Ryoma's father is her boss--> who wants to discuss wedding details with her when she clearly is not getting married anytime soon. Not yet. Not until Ryoma asks and the both of them are ready for some big commitment.

"I turned down the job" yeah more like his mother begging him to turn down the job. His father and mother has always been against him doing that job. What? Photography has been his skill eve since he stepped into the muggle world. In fact, because of photography he has been able to do well as an artist. "But i might reconsider getting the job still" he said to her. Ryu never liked ministry work. To him ministry work is something people expect him to do but Ryu just don't get it here. People here are too busy and always running around.

So they're in the same level. Great. Big whoop. That sounds really.... really... trouble for him. "I just started working today" too lazy to wake up and go to work and do some ministry job for once. "I'm under the Junior Habitat Managers" he heard there were two of them. So it's nice to know that. He also heard it's a lady. Even better. "Ranger, that sounds interesting" he told her. "I've always wanted to be a ranger but i guess being a habitat manager, whatever that is, could be fun as well" he smirked. He didn;t know what kind of work he will be having anyway.

"So how was first day of work?"

...wow. She did like environment. He chuckled. In some ways she was like the opposite of him. He didn't mind being outdoors, that much, granted it was bee-free. "I can't really imagine myself out there," he mused. "But I'm glad you found your department then," he said, shoving hands in his pockets. It was the most important thing in a job, liking it.

He smiled at her comment. He could tell, by the stressed look of her. "Tomorrow it is, then." When did they have a break, really? Shame, he didn't really check the time. He was too busy trying to locate everything. "You tell me when yours is, and I'll come to your level. I don't know when ours is exactly..." He did have 'first day craziness' as well.

"Not really. If I tell, the spell will be broken, y'know." She was a girl, she should know all these better than him! "Will you wish something?" he asked, indicating the fountain with a hand. What harm could it do anyway? Their money was going to sick children, didn't that sign say so?

Wow. Even his department had a slow start, and look at the environment. They were already handing out schedules. Yeah, he made the right choice with his department. "I don't have any plans," he admitted. "I'll go to some movies, maybe? I don't know..." He shrugged. If she didn't have a schedule to read, he would have asked her, but he didn't want to play the 'devil' and seduce her. Hehe. "But I guess I can buy you that coffee, no?"

He didn't take it, but he still might consider the job. She shrugged. Well, it's his decision, and she'd respect it no matter what. "I see." the words slipped from her mouth. "Oh, you started working today? I'm sure being a junior habitat manager is fun. I really think all are." she said with a smile on her face. "Being a ranger does sound interesting...but..." she stopped herself from going any further, mentioning about Ryoma and Ryoma's father being her boss. She doesn't even know how to tell Ryoma, nor how Ryoma would react if he learned of it. "...err..that was nothing." Hopefully Ryu would not ponder on any questions regarding as to why she paused.

"Actually...i'm just starting my first day as well." She told Ryu, a bit of excitement on her tone. She was excited to do her work. It really looked like fun, having to go to places and check for anything. Strenuous, but fun. "how about you? How did your first day go?"

He nodded to Camellia when she asked about just starting to work at the department. Perhaps he was too early to go to work today. He wanted to make a good impression so he might as well come on time like the rest of the zombies around here. "Yeah i think both are really nice jobs to be in" he said but still, he has been such a big fan of being a ranger because they get to work outside well not that the habitat managers don't. I mean seriously, the department itself means WORKING OUTSIDE and deal with nature all around. If he wanted to just sit down he could have just took the Minister's office job. Lord Berty Borr seems to be a descent guy to work with although he is a bit of an arrogant lot. But really, who cares?

"But what?" Ryu asked. What was something wrong about being a ranger? Obviously, there was something distracting Camellia and Ryu is very much persistent when it comes to knowing something. If Camellia doesn't answer, he'll just keep on asking. That's how the way it should be.

Oh so they're just the same, starting their first day of work today. "It's nice." he said with a slight doubtful tone on his voice. The workplace is nice and all that but like he always said, ministry work isn't his thing. "I'm just new to the whole ambiance of this work. I'll get used to it" eventually.

"I do have an hour lunch break, at two. Meet you then? On our level maybe? Level four?" She suggested. A tour with a handsome wizard would definitely raise her points in the place, hehe. Not to mention she's got a while till Spain makes it into her plans list so this place would do.

A wish. She turned and faced the fountain looking down at the super magical water, "I've never thought about it actually. But now that you mentioned it, it might be cool to do it." Her hand went into the bag and had snatched a Knut out before an idea of giving her a Galleon occurred to his noble mind, hehe. Pausing for a few seconds, her eyes closed and her fist squeezing the coin Marina dropped it into the water and smiled, "And then we'll see whose wish comes true."

Buy her the coffee? That is so predictable. "Yeah well, I don't mind going out for a coffee with a Spanish friend." She grinned and wrapped one arm around one of his. "Shall we, Senor?" And she stood straight like those old fashioned girls she used to mock.

"At two, level four. Wait for me, señora," he said with a smile. Not that he knew every where, but he wasn't going to admit that. Plus, he knew all the important places, and that should be enough.

Oh, she was fast and didn't give him the chance to be gentleman. She had got him two times, but he was going to be much faster next time. She was the girl, after all. And he had to be much politer.

"And what did you wish, lady?" he asked with a small grin. Not that he thought she would tell, but he liked to tease her a little.

He chuckled at 'señor' as he positioned his arm for her to wrap more delicately. "You are getting better at it," he complimented, totally flattered at 'I don't mind going out for a coffee with a Spanish friend' "Claro, la bellaza." He smiled, watching for her reaction. "Of course, beauty." He started to walk slowly with her. "Where shall we go?"

"It's really nothing....nothing big of a problem." It isn't a problem to begin with. what can she say? "Ryoma's father is heading the department i'm in." She said nonchalantly. "I learned he was my boss, when i ran into him at the park...he was..." How can she put this... " Amusing." yeah right. Talking about weddings. It would seem he wanted her to marry Ryoma AS SOON AS POSSIBLE...which is not really inappropriate as of now...considering 1.) they're young still, she's only 21. 2.) Marriage is a heavy commitment that needs to be thought out carefully by both parties.

But, thinking of it, she does want to spend her life with him. Not now, nor soon, but someday...you get the idea.

and those thoughts had put color on her cheeks again. She tried to think of something else so she wouldn't have Ryu notice she was blushing. He might ask her what is she blushing for or if she's sick...and she's trying so hard to avoid being embarrassed in front of Ryu again. "I"m sure you will." she told him. "We both will get used to this. I'm still not yet used to it...i keep thinking of my old work...which is why i always bring my camera about." safely inside her bag with a couple of books she always brings.

Oh so it is Ryoma's father who is working in the same department as them. He saw the department head talking about Mr. Shiradou and at the party he saw him as well. "That's really nice" yeah you get to spend with your father-in-law or something like that right? "In my area i don't think we have our boss yet." Ryu saw who's he working with but no one mentioned to him who he will be taking orders to. Probably sooner or later he'll find out as well.

He's amusing? "In what way?" Ryu got curious. This he wanted to hear. What could be more funnier than the son?--- the father of course. He snorted at that idea.

"yeah i thnk we will get use to this environment sooner or later" Ryu saw her blush. It's probably a Ryoma thing just like that kiss at the cafe. Oh well. Ryu saw her camera. Now Ryu is starting to get second thoughts about taking that job. Looking at the camera is making him regretting that he turned down an awesome job. He just smiled but the pain of not being able a photographer is killing him. Oh why did he have to listen to his parents?

Really nice? She thought so too...but only if Kaishu wasn't as ecstatic as a little boy when he sees her. It's most likely because of Ryoma. Camellia raised an eyebrow. "No head on your sub-department yet?...hmm..maybe you will get to meet your head today then." there is a possibility after all.

Amusing in what way? She grinned, then again, tried to put it at minimal. "He's amusing...because..." how can she put KAISHU in words? "...he's excitable..." she giggled. Yep. Like a kid on a sugar rush. "He kept giving me bearhugs when i met him at the park." and went on about Weddings.

She nodded her head, agreeing to getting used to the environment soon. It was only a matter of time that they would.

and she noticed Ryu was looking at her bag, that was open and revealing its contents. It was her camera. Was Ryu missing taking photographs? He probably did, the look in his eyes said so and he didn't look like he had his camera with him right now. Smiling, she took it out of her bag and handed it over to him. "Ryu...would you like to give my camera a try, if you want that is." she said. "It's not magical or anything...neither is it polaroid, but it is an amazing ordinary muggle cam. I'm sure you're familiar with such more." yeah. an SLR camera that is.

"Well their's this one person Rafael mentioned" he said putting his thoughts to who it was. "... Rain?" that's the name. It was quite weird for a name but who is he to judge. Muggles are weird enough but they can never surpass the weirdness of witches and wizards. But in their sub-department of the Habitat managers. Ryu didn't know they have one, or maybe he didn't check out yet.

Back to her father-in-law. Now why does Ryu assume that nowadays? seriously, the two are not even THAT official. He just smirked at Camellia "That's really..." how can he say this nicely without hurting Camellia and her father-n-law <--- there it is again. "...creepy" he continued. Okay, he doesn't mean to insult him or anything. It's just that bear hugs in public? Really? That's super weird even for a daughter-in-law (another one...).

Ryu kept staring at Camellia's camera. Does it have to be there? He missed photographing stuffs most of the time and he literally and purposely kept all his photography stuffs unopened for the same reasons. Photography is something Ryu loves. It has been like his rehab for almost 5 years ever since that Blair incident. Not once did he ever thought of Blair everytime he had those awesome DSLR lenses on this hands. And Italy was just a paradise. So why is he here in the wizarding world?

he shook his head to Camellia as she offered to let him try the camera. "N-no" Ryu said. Abstinence. The moment he takes that camera might make him completely pack up his things and go to Italy today. "Maybe some other time" he smiled. He didn't want to touch anything that is linked to photography. No magazines, no pictures, no Italy and of course, NO CAMERA.

"Then, i suppose you could report to him if you need to in the meantime while your head is not here yet." Camellia said. "But i'm pretty sure, your head will come soon."

She watched Ryu smirk at her. she smirked as well, raising an eyebrow at him. He looks mischievous, to her persepctive. she was beginning to wonder why he had that look on his face, when he mentioned that Kaishu giving her bear hugs was...creepy. She giggled. It was funny, the way he sees it. Maybe it was creepy, that a man went about and hugged her, but she does know the man; he certainly was not a stranger; and she did consider his reason for hugging her, that is becuse he was ecstatic to know anything aboout her and his son. Truth be told, there isn't anything yet. "If you put it that way. I think it's funny. reminded me of someone." and she was referring to neither any of the Shiradous.

Sensing that Ryu wasn't feeling well with the camera, she quickly put it back in her bag, closing it from view of anyone. "All right." she said, smiling at him. Maybe next time? She hoped so. She looked at her wrist watch and then at his club sandwich and his coffee. "I think you should finish off your meal, Ryu. Sorry for interrupting you. I'll be heading to level 4 now...if you want to join me, that is."

"Yeah i guess so too." Ryu still doesn't know yet who he'll be working with for the moment but he's just glad he's working. It may not be his job at Italy but it's definitely a new experience for him. Definitely.

Remind her of someone. He's so close to mention Ryoma's name but he doesn't want to. And why would he do that exactly? He would just get upset over it. So definitely NO. "Ohh. who's that?" he said casually. She's going to say Ryoma. She'll definitely say Ryoma. Ryoma... Ryoma... Is it him? What is the matter with Ryu? why is he like that? Over thinking stuffs and what not? It could mean anyone. It could be her sister or any of her family member. Seriously, Ryu should definitely could use some advice to Ayumi with this one.

There's no next time for that. Probably only when he's sober enough to think that it's okay that he's not going to be part of that field again. Who knows? Probably in the future, he would be the one to go abroad this time and let Ayumi get a taste on what it feels like being a ministry person.

"You should go ahead first. I'm meeting up with Ayumi today." he told her. Does Camellia know Ayumi's leaving? Did Ayumi ever told her?

Ayumi will be going away anytime soon or probably this week. She hasn't been telling much her schedule but knowing Ayumi she goes home every after 2 or 3 months. So their parents are not bothering to let her stay. Unlike Ryu, 5 years of no show.

"My real father." She answered coolly. "He's a bit too childish right now, but i can't blame him...for his illness." she said with a tone that made people think she was taking such rather well ad with acceptance that the man is sick. "Every time i come by for a visit, he always comes and gives me a hug. He misses me, but it's more of like he misses the company and the visits."

and he urged her to go on ahead. Camellia pouted, but she just respected Ryu's decision. "All right then. I'll see you upstairs then." she began to walk, but she stopped and turned around again. "Say hi to Ayumi for me, please." she said and then started to walk again.

Man, work was exhausting, and the day was barely half over. Awesome. Alex really needed to sit down for a little while. She had spent the majority of her day on her feet, which had really tired them out.

She sat down and sighed. It had been a tough couple months for her family. With her grandfather's death, and her family declaring bankruptcy, all she wanted to do was get away from it all. But, she can't do that. She has to work. SIGH! She leaned over and took off her shoes. Her feet were killing her.

For such a large, lumbering man, he appeared to be rather light on his feet. The dark doctor's billowy cloak made his body appear shapeless, like a black cloud forming on the horizon. Eyes shielded behind a pair of tinted goggles, it was hard to tell what exactly he was looking at. "Your shoes." He rasped, taking a breath before speaking again. "Are all wrong. No wonder your feet hurt." With his blank expression, and nearly monotone voice, it was hard to tell if he was trying to be funny or deadly serious.

Alex heard someone walking towards her. She looked in the direction of the sound and saw a man in a very long, black cloak. Interesting choice she thought, with a puzzled look on her face. Oh well. To each his own I guess she thought again.

The mysterious man walked up to her and commented on her shoes. She chuckled at his comment. "Yeah, I am not sure why I chose to wear them to work." she said, in her Italian accent. "Anywho, I am Alexandra Napoleone, but most people call me Alex." she said, smiling. "And you are??" she asked.

Lifting his goggles atop his head, his old eyes looked through her, shifting his weight to his right. "Nero. I'm a doctor." The man said quickly, as if afraid he'd give away too much.

"I enchanted my shoes so my feet don't actually touch the ground. The walking thing is mostly habit, partly misdirection. Sometimes I carry a cane." Permitting a small laugh, he pretended his chest didn't ache.

Alex quickly diverted her eyes to the ground. She sometimes feels uncomfortable when people look into her eyes for a long time. "A doctor? You must be really smart." she said, smiling. Alex knew that she smart, but not smart enough to become a doctor.

She was slightly puzzled. "Wouldn't that feel like awkward to walk without your feet touching the ground?" she asked, raising one eyebrow. "I work for the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes. Where do you work, Nero?" she asked, smiling warmly.

"I was never a fan of gravity." Nero stated plainly. "DMAC, hm?" The old doctor paused for a moment, lost in the past. "You must keep busy. Always something out there causing trouble." The more they talked about her job, the less time she had to question Nero about his.

"Gotcha." Alex said, even though she didn't get why someone wouldn't like gravity. "Yep!" she said, nodding her head. It was a hectic job, but she really liked it. No matter what happened, she has and always will love it. "You have no idea." she said, smirking. There is always someone royally screwing up. Why hadn't he answered her question? Was he avoiding it? "And what do you do?" she asked, innocently.
