Upon entering the 'Meet and Greet' area Natasha picked up a Scavenger hunt sheet as she let her eyes drift over the people already mingling around. No Isobel in sight. Maybe her sister had been held up by the babies? Shrugging Tasha headed inside the spacious room trying to debate who to try and strike up a conversation with. There were so many people here already.

It didn't take long before she spotted two familiar faces among all the unfamiliar ones. Kensi looked even more terrible then the last time she had seen her in the food court before the vacation. Whereas Ella on the other looked as elegant as ever.

Approaching the pair Tasha greeted them both with a smile. "Hello Kensi! Hello Ella!" With a worried look she gave Kensi a second once over and asked concerned. "Are you still feeling under the weather Kensi? I thought the vacation would have cured you from what ever it was that was making you sick."

Turning to Ella she asked in cheerier tone. "How was your vacation Ella? Did you try the vacation packages TerrorTours advertised in the papers about?" Tasha hadn't but she had done her best to enjoy her vaction to the fullest.

The redhead took a step back from both women...Ella...she was familiar....her green eyes widened..."No..NO! I saw a Healer! They said they didn't know! I have to-to come to work, still! Let me be!" she cried, her voice hysterical.

Which wasn't good. Her emotions were already so raw, and her sister had just left...after dealing with a very ill Kensi for about a month, and still no help..well, Kensi had been feeling VERY dejected lately...she went to turn away from them but as soon as she did she overcome with a FIT of gagging...and convulsing...she doubled over, clutching her stomach, until she began to tremble and then when she straightened up she was gone. Her eyes were gone, and her mouth was open. She took a step forward and seemed to be walking without thinking. She reached out a hand, mindlessly, and took the woman(Elizabeth's) arm....and slowly brought the arm to her mouth...

CHOMP!

She tried to bit her arm..it wasn't a hard bit, for now, but as soon as Kensi felt the taste of her skin...she snapped out of it..and, horrified, through the lady's arm back at her..

Her eyes filled with tears...and she looked at Ella...she was so confused...SO CONFUSED. She just wanted to curl up and cry..she wanted to be better...she did...

The redhead couldn't even get out the words I'M SORRY to the poor Elizabeth woman...because if she opened her mouth, she might throw up..

And then..Natasha, was it? asked if she were still under the weather..QUHFIUHHBGJT Kensi wanted to slap her! "Do i-Do I LOOK like Im feeling any better?!" she asked, her usually smooth and velvety voice shrill with hysteria...she was going loony..maybe St. Mungo's had a ward waiting for her....she merely at her...and she felt the drooling getting AWFUL. She pulled out her handkerchief and dabbed it at her mouth...Merlin...

It was good she agreed. His eyebrows then raised in surprise. She had? Merlin, he must have zoned out for a moment. Now he felt like he'd completely, unnecessarily thought she was stupid for a moment. "I do apologise, I missed that."



Ooooh. Someone was testy! "Apparently, someone very rude who can't control their drooling. Do you need a healer, Ma'am?" They could fix the drooling, nothing they could do about her personality though. MERLIN, DID SHE JUST BITE ELIZABETH? Charles stared and pulled Elizabeth aside in surprise. No need to be near a bitey woman.



Ah. She remembered herself pretty quickly, he could see from the pink in her cheeks. Why was it when people remembered themselves, they ran? "You too, Ms. Potter. Have a nice day." Two 'Sir's and one 'Mr. Taylor' in one sentence, he was doing well. He looked forward to the next conversation with this lovely lady who had redeemed herself well.



Oooh, a blonde. That was on the list, right? Charles approached the woman and gave a polite half bow. "Hello Ma'am, how're you today?" Polite small talk. Yes, that was what people did.

Elizabeth yelped in surprise as she backed away from the lady. She stared at the lady as she put a hand to the bite. She didnt expect to be bitten by her. She still wanted to help the lady but didnt want to risk getting bitten again. She sighed and glanced around for someone who could help the zombieish lady. She felt someone pull her away and looked up, seeing it was Charles. She gave a half of a smile at him, "Thank you for pulling me away..." Elizabeth glanced down, blushing a little... out of embarassment... of course.

Kensi just...looked at them...her green eyes were still moist. She stared at the stupid man...and then burst into tears, burying her face into he hands..."I DO NOT NEED A HEALER. They are useless!" she cried through her tears..

Kensi was s not used to crying. But being ill for so long...and having literally NO family here at all..it was all too much right now...and she had just tried to eat someone's ARM..that was appalling...APPALLING.

She looked at the lady...and sniffled.."I'm so sorry! I-I-" and she began to tremble, again, and then...she felt her stomach churning...and and and...she felt herself gagging...

BLEGGHHH!

She threw up.

On the man's shoes...

Oh no...after having taken out her wand and attempting to..clean up..some...she just stared, in shock, at the guy....her eyes were a bit blank, but she was actually there now. "Don't....kill me..." she muttered, tears still formed at the corners of her eyes, but she wasn't crying anymore..

Elizabeth stepped a little closer to the girl again but not as close as she was. She hope the girl wont attack her again, "Ms... We wont hurt you." She glanced at Charles then at the lady, "All will be okay... just calm down." She was still trying to help her despite what she did.

Kensi bit another woman on the arm just right then and there in front of Tasha’s eyes. Frozen for a moment she looked on as a man pulled the bit woman away from Kensi. Looking over at Ella she hoped for some assistance. They needed to calm Kensi down somehow before someone else got bitten.

"No, you look terrible." Tasha observed without the slightest hint of irony. Taking a step towards Keni she carefully put her hand on the other woman’s right arm rubbing it slightly. "Calm down, Kensi! There is no need for hysteria. We’ll help you figure this out. I promise. Isn’t that right Ella?" Tasha asked the brunette dept head standing close by.

She looked on and tried to keep her face worried and not disgusted as Kensi started to drool from her mouth just like she had done in the food court.

The drooling got progressively worse as Kensi started to tremble and then barfed all over a man’s shoes. Ugh.

Not looking at the mess on the man’s shoes Tasha pulled out her wand and conjured up a bucket. At a time like this you needed to keep practical. Restoring her wand safely to its place the blond held the bucket out in front of Kensi while she wrapped her left arm around the younger woma’s shoulders and murmured reassuringly trying to be heard over the younger woman’s tears. "Nobody is going to kill you Kensi. Don’t even think like that, you hear me? If they try I’m going to stop them. Just try to calm down all right?" It would be hard to help if Kensi kept being hysterical.

This man couldn't be SERIOUS was he?

He couldn’t have chosen a lousier time for small talk then just now. Tasha shot the man a long stare before she responded curtly. "Good day Sirrrrrrr! I’m fine, but as you can see a tad preoccupied." With Kensi who needed her attention much more that this man. She felt some sympathy for the man's ruined shoes but that was like small potatoes compared to Kensi's problems.

Eye twitch. She'd... thrown up on his shoes. Not moving, disgust crossed his face. His shiny, black shoes were covered in vomit. He'd stayed up late JUST to shine them. Stony faced, he stared at the girl as she muttered about not killing her. She got the benefit of the doubt this time, having already drooled over herself and made a bad attempt to clean up after herself.

Elizabeth stepped forward, and against his better judgement, he just let her. He'd pulled her away once, if she wanted to go back to pukey, it was her own fault. After closing his eyes and taking a moment to compose himself, Charles took a deep breath and fixed the woman with a piercing glare. What came out of his mouth next hurt him to say, but obviously, it was the right thing at the moment. "It's fine. Don't worry about it." He wanted her to worry about it, clean it up and put his shoes right, but she was in no fit state.

His eyes turned to the blonde who was short with him. Well excuuuuuuse him for trying to be polite before pukey/drooly decided to ruin his day. Without responding to her, he pulled his wand out and cleaned his shoes himself. They would definitely need shining again, they'd lost their mirror finish now.

Elizabeth stepped back as another woman whom seem to know the poor girl came up. She went over to Charles and put her hand on his arm. "Lets go... her friends will probably do a better job at calming her..." SHe didnt even realize that she had touched him since she was checking out how bad of a bite she had gotten. She glaned up at Charles then back down at the bite, "Her bark might be worse than her bite." Yeah, she was trying to make a joke.

Of course Lights had been drawn to the commotion. That was her job, was it not? To be in the thick of interesting things when they happened? She watched in astonishment as Kensi bit a woman's arm, then proceeded to vomit on a man's shoes and break down into hysterics. Well. She knew Kensi had a bit of a sharp tongue, but this? No way. The woman trying to calm her down looked like she needed some help, so Lights went over and rubbed Kensi's back reassuringly.

"It's okay, honey," she said in the soft comforting voice she used when her kids were sick or upset. "Calm down, you'll feel better if you calm down." With a few muttered incantations and flicks of her wand, she summoned a glass from the eating area and filled it with water. She pressed the glass gently into Kensi's hand. "It'll help."

Demetrius walks in to the Meet and greet and immediately walks into the first wall he sees. Not the best way to to enter a MoM function, not that he cared though. a lot of weird thing were happening to him and he had no idea why. He was still drooling. He automatically wipes some off, not knowing if it was there or not. But now he had sharpened teeth. Demetrius Clay was no vampire.

The one thing that really annoyed Demetrius was that he was beginning to notice that he could not perform the simplest of spells. Demetrius should really go to St. Mungos. But of course he had work to do. After walking into another wall he finds a nice comfortable seat on the ground to just drool and think about why he was pale and had bloodshot eyes.

"Oh! Hi!" Roscoe introduced himself to another employee, or at least greeted them. Roscoe was not exactly sure what the point of an orientation was. So he could have s look around or something? He had been considering taking his nephew out to a muggle science museum, but decided it was better to attend. He still wished he was there, Roscoe was not fascinated by muggles, he just admired their advances in space and science. "I'm Roscoe.. Or Dr. Del Mar.." *wink*. Yes, he was a doctor... Of Astronomy.. BUT WHATEVER.

Roscoe shook another woman's hand. He commited the name and face to his mind, before reminding himself it was customary to introduce himself; "I'm Roscoe, Department of Mysteries I believe." Roscoe said, smiling back. Ooh yes, be jealous, he was from the Department of MYSTERIES. It even sounded cooler than the rest. I mean, c'mon, where else would you want to work?

All Roscoe knew so far, about what he was doing, was that he had to hang around a space-y room and study 'planets an celestial objects'. Which sounded like what he'd been doing since forever, which was fine by him.

Kensi had stopped being hysterical....of course...but that didn't mean she was completely sane right now. She just looked at this woman...."I am calm..." she said softly, taking a few deep breaths...
not really, though, but she wanted everyone to THINK she was...

She was a bit scared to get any closer, to be quite honest...she didn't want to bite the poor woman again...



well why was everyone wanting her to be calm..would THEY be calm if they had just tried to DEVOUR someone's arm?! No! Kensi was getting ticked. And the redhead could not afford that right now. She bit her tongue to keep her from saying anything to Natasha right away...

She took out her wand and pointed it at the man's shoes....but then she completely forgot...why she was doing that..and UGH.

She was drooling again...and so she pressed her handkerchief up on her mouth...this was awful. She needed to go talk to Bossman. Badly. She needed some time at home.

"Th-th-thanks..." she said to Natasha, only..she wasn't remembering Natasha's name right now...she was drawing a BLANK. And she also looked very puzzled...

Why was she here again?



She turned to the man...and he said...don't worry about it....worry about what? Kensi scowled...and then her eyes followed his to the shoes...oh..It clicked. And she remembered, now.

UGH.

"I-I'm going to clean them up! " she cried, feeling awful...even though the man was a GIT she would still help clean his shoes...she pointed her wand at his shoes..."Scourgify!" she cried, not knowing if..well, spells were being difficult lately. But before she could change her mind the spell was zooming to his feet...

And no. The cleaning spell did not. And no, Kensi was NOT laughing...because she hat just

SET HIS SHOES ON FIRE.

Kensi yelped and quickly tried to put it out with Aquamenti, but all that kept coming out of her wand was confetti..woefnqhfuhf CONFETTI! She started to tear up AGAIN and slapped her wand a few times...MERLIN! "I'm sorry...I'll buy you new shoes...I swear..." even the biggest jerk ever didn't deserve burnt shoes..."Someone put it out! Now!" she cried, simply staring....and feeling awful and miserable and UGH.

And then some woman was touching her and Kensi winced....Merlin..why was everyone so touchy! No...She turned and saw her fellow MLE...Lights...she had never ACTUALLY spoken to the woman..but she appreciated the...sentiment. All the same.

"I-I-I don't feel well," she said, closing her eyes and swaying on the spot. She grabbed Light's shoulder to keep her standing. but not before she lost herself again...and when she opened her eyes she was staring blankly ahead...glazed, dazed expression. The mouth was drooling, and she was completely still...

IT would be a bit eerie...it WAS a bit eerie..

Wandering away from the raffle and free stuff, Hershey stepped outside into the cool air. It was nice to have a chance to see things about the Ministry before she actually started working there and all, but there were a LOT of people inside and the air was fresh out here. She examined the box of Bertie Bott's beans and opened it carefully, choosing one. Botts made her think of her cousin, her cousin made her think of her family and her family made her think of home. Though this was an exciting experience, she couldn't help but feel a the teeniest bit homesick. The first thing to do in a new place was to make friends and that wasn't hard. She glanced around to see if she could spot anyone who wasn't already engaged in a conversation (it was rude to interrupt conversations) Perhaps someone would find her, even? She was totally polite and approachable looking, right? Of course! She'd even share her candy.

Jack walked over to his wife in a rush hearing the commotion. "Darling, are you all right!?" He asked and seemed to calm slightly seeing her hand on the other man's arm. He was slightly miffed at this but said nothing, as much as he disliked it he knew he didn't have much room to talk at the moment so he let it slide. "What happened?" He asked her, eyeing that zombie, woman.

Jade wandered to the 'meet and greet' area and saw that there were crowds of people. Nope that wasn't for her at the moment so she walked out on to the little balcony where there was another person, a woman, there staring into a bag of Bertie Bott's Beans.

Jade smiled and stopped just beside the woman, coughing and clearing her throat before saying "Hey. So you're also escaping the crowd back there huh?"

Looking at him curiously as he said he couldn't help much with training new employees. "If you don't feel up to it I understand, we don't have any new undercover buyers, but we do have a new security council member and immigration officer. Oh and 2 ambassadors, Elizabeth actually is one of them." If Dimitri remembered Elizabeth anyway!

Ok, that was weird "You didn't mean to say that?" Uh oh...wait he was pale again "Dimitri are you feeling okay? You just went pale."

He tensed up when her wand trailed onto his shoes, but breathed a sigh of relief as she didn't do anything. Thank Merlin. He stared at her drooling for a moment before his eyes widened as she cried about cleaning up his shoes. They were already clean! She didn't have to - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Anger flashed in his eyes immediately, but she kept casting and adding to it! Confetti? HIS SHOES WEREN'T GETTING MARRIED.

All he could do was facepalm as he used his free hand to pull out his wand again. Was she going to stop? Yes, he was just stood there while his shoes burnt. "Aguamenti." He wasn't particularly happy about soaking his feet, but better wet than burnt.

He GLARED at the new person on the scene. No, it was most certainly NOT okay. HAD SHE SEEN HIS SHOES? Okay, he was calm. Yes. Calm. Deeeep breaths. Thankfully, Elizabeth caught his attention once more. Go? Yes, they should probably leave. He looked down at her hand on his arm, surprised by the unauthorised touch. Obviously, he saw the bite too and shook his head "She bit you." Who did that? WHO BIT RANDOM PEOPLE?

"Hello." He greeted the man who'd called her 'Darling', believing that it must be her husband. He waved his hand in disbelief at the question and just shook his head, wondering if every day was going to be like this. If so, he needed a larger supply of shoes.

Elizabeth just glanced at the girl then to her husband, "Yeah, Jack. I'm fine... it is just a small bite." She looked at him and kissed him lightly. "I am better now that you are here." She laughed and looked at Charles, "Sorry about the hand on the arm... I wasnt thinking." She smiled at him, "I guess it is just the way I was raised. You dont even really like being called Charles so I dont know... sorry for starting to ramble." She laughed and leaned into Jack.

Rowan looked between Millie and Elizabeth as they talked and then more people came up, Joy... "How've you been Elizabeth?" He gave a polite smile to his aunt.

Oh yum, earwax.

Yeah, not really, but Hershey never skipped a flavor. That wasn't the true spirit of the BEANS. She glanced in the direction of the voice and found a PERSON. Hey! Her polite and approachableness worked! "Yep. Something tells me you are as well." She held out the box. "Beans?"

Jack looked at the other man, not a rude look but not really a friendly one either just an indifferent look. "Hello." he said politely and turned to his wife, kissing her back. He couldn't help but smile at her words but he was still very much concerned. "Will you please see a healer? You were just bitten by a zombie.." He did not want a zombie wife..

Jade shook her head at the woman's offer of Bertie Bott's Beans, "No, thanks I'm good. Yeah- it seems to be crazy there with everyone. There also seems to be some Zombies which honestly doesn't seem so out of place in there." She laughed.

"I'm Jade Opal by the way." She held out her hand to the other woman. "I'm a Reminisciator in the Accidents and Catastrophes."

"It's fine." The woman had something that was bothering her and if talking out the rough sketch to a complete stranger helped then he wouldn't dissuade her; it only took him half an hour to learn that the people here were strange.

He thought about his response for a bit. It wasn't as straight forward as she'd asked it. "I used to live in a small town just outside London but moved when I was about 19 and haven't really been back until now." When he thought about it, he hadn't been home in quite some time! That was as much as he was going to say on the subject.

He found it more than a little funny that this woman who was also new knew more about his job than he did.

A fountain of Amortentia? Why would they even have one of those. Wouldn't it have been very dangerous if the wrong person found it? In his mind, the best way to guard something was to not have it at all. He chuckled. "I know what Amortentia is, I wasn't nearly as bad at Potions as I was at Herbology." Heh. Of course he knew what it was; he'd used it enough in his life.

He nodded reflectively. "So you'll be helping to create even more plants for me to not know?" They wanted him to look stupid. Fill the earth with plants he didn't know then ask him about them. Clever. Real. Clever.

Thank Merlin the woman calmed down. He didn't like anyone that got all worked up over trivial things. They had a knack for bringing out the worse in him.

The change in her expression as she began talking about her job didn't go unnoticed. So here he had another woman who seemed zealous about her job. He could understand that. In his last job he was so happy that it didn't even seem like work. Getting lost in research, coming up with solutions, it was all so exciting to him. "It's good you like your job so much." She was officially higher on his list--annoying lazy people who didn't like work at all found themselves at the very bottom.

"Oh?" He could see why she'd be so offended then! "I'm afraid half the people in the lab I used to work in were like that. It was horrible trying to get work done with them!" Then others questioned why he didn't like people very much. Was it really any wonder?! "Do you know anyone from the Minister's Office personally?" If she did then she could give him some insight then the relevant persons could be properly ignored. Chatty people were the worst.



It was a good thing he'd stopped this one. She seemed sensible enough to allow him to have a decent conversation before--

Dear merlin.

So there was a reason why she didn't come across as boring; she was a loon. What did polar bears have to do with anything??? Staring seemed like the only thing that was making sense in this little exchange so that's exactly what he did until he was able to find the right words. "That's umm...that's...who in the world told you that?" When she said unique, she wasn't kidding!

At least she woke his brain up.

Elizabeth looked at him, "I dont need to see a healer, Jack. The bite isnt that bad." She sighed and frowned. She looked into his eyes and stroked his cheek. She kissed his nose, "I will be fine, okay?" She smiled at him and wrapped her arms around him.


"Oh really? How nice." She smiled and laughed, "If you dont mind, where did you move?" Elizabeth grimaced, "Sorry, I kinda of love hearing about heritage and places people been and lived in... its kinda of why i love my job." She gestured and chuckled. She looked at him, waiting to see if he would say or not.
