Hopefully with meet all these people Victoria could easily remember there names, along with Gavin later. "How long have you been in the International Cooperation," she asked him.

Millie was off in a corner being awkward when she saw her husband walk in. A smile quickly formed on her face and she approached him from behind "hey there." she said in a voice not sounding like herself.. okay it was a little mean to freak out her husband but it was funny, she was feeling like being a jerk for once :/

Giving her a half smile he shrugged. "Guess you will really need to find out for yourself to see what you think of him really. He has some fun conga lines, I'll give him that." Shaking his head he laughed "Oh no not really. I can definitely see how Gina stayed as one for so long, I've enjoyed it immensely."

"I've been in International Cooperation for 6 years now, and before that in the department of mysteries for 4 years." Yep he was a long timer in the ministry. "How about yourself, how long have you been in level 1 or are you just starting out?"

Rowan turned hearing a strange voice and his slightly annoyed glare changed into a smile serif his wife, "I figured you wouldn't want to be here, mon amour." He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forehead lightly, "Though, I can't complain, seeing you here has definitely already made it better."

Elizabeth laughed, "Yeah, I guess so." She raised an eyebrow, "Coingra lines? Hmm maybe he isnt that bad then." She smiled, "That is great news then!"

Orientation Day.

Ivee was excited, but at the same time she was nervous and tired. She was new to this place, of course. She doesn't have any friends yet. She's hoping she'd get to know some people here. Friendly people, if she needed to be exact.

As she entered, there were sooooooooooooo many people. She wasn't claustrophobic but she just didn't like to be so alone in a place. Ok... maybe that IS being claustrophobic but whatever. It was awkward, being in here. She needed to do something, like socialize.

FINALLY!!

Dimitri was so excited to be back at ministry, despite of the family issue dan he face. Sometimes kept himself busy could distract him about that. Blaaah.. The 21-year-old guy felt so enthusiast about this orientation. Who knows that he would find chicks some new employees and got more acquintances.

His brown eyes spotted Gavin, the department head. "Mr... Oh, Gavin!" he smiled widely and greeted his boss. "How was your break?" asked him. Yeah, Dimitri Burton felt so sociable now!

Victoria had heard someone else and looked up. The lady was very direct and very serious. Victoria felt her first set of nerves come back, but she smiled, "I'm Victoria Maroon." she took the ladies hand and shook it. Oh she was Department of Law, maybe that was why she was so forceful. "I'm in the Game and sports Department.. I guess I'm not sure my actual position yet, I'm brand new." She said a bit shyly. She wish they would have said what she was doing so she would know.

Then someone caught her attention, a guy. Well he seem to know everyone or at least at the attitude that he knew everyone. Victoria smiled nicely at him, "Hello" was he that confident or did he really know many people here she wondered.

Seeing him turn she couldn't help but laugh a bit. "he he Sorry Ro I couldn't help but do that to ya." it was mean but it was okay.. she was allowed to be mean to him whenever she wanted "eh, kinda thought i'd be a bad sport not to show up." though he was right she DIDNT want to be there, seeing as how everyone in her department were crazy and she found no need in meeting anyone new really.

Jack spotted his wife and Gavin. He and Elizabeth had talked through things seeming less weird after everything that happened after the break...maybe she'd be willing to put her best food forward, even if not it's best to keep up appearances. He walked over to His wife and their boss. "Did i hear something about a conga line?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. "Hey, Gavin.." He nodded to the other man and turned to Elizabeth. "Ambassador.." He gave her a nod and a smirk, he couldn't help but be a little playful with her sometimes and maybe it would make things seem more...normal.

Elizabeth glanced over at her husband after he walked up, "Yes, you did." She gave a half smile then rolled her eyes at him calling her Ambassador. She chuckled, "Morning to you too, Ambassdor." She forced herself to kiss his cheek so everything would seem normal... at least to Gavin.

He heard someone talk to him another woman, it seemed there were quite a few women around here. "Hi Melissa, my name is Tyler Jacobs, nice meeting you too" he smiled as she then went onto explain what department she was with "Ah so you are the same department as me, Misuse of Muggle Artefacts as well. You restore them whereas I go pick up the misused ones and bring them to you I guess to restore" so it seemed he and this Melissa would be working together quite a bit. It was nice to meet someone from his own department, though he didnt mind meeting anyone from any of the other departments because it was just nice and fun to meet alot of people.



He chuckled as she went sort of "Thats good, but I guess you wont be leading anyone to show them the Ministry since we are here to meet people first then go on our own little tours " he smiled as he nodded some more "Yeah you will! I think that maybe you will find out once this Orientation is over so that you can get to work and do what they have been hired to do." He smiled "It was nice to chat to you too.. I am sorry I didnt get your name.. my name is Tyler Jacobs" cause they hadt exactly exchanged names so they would just be called 'that woman' or 'that man' for a long time to come!

"That's quite a grip you've got there." He commented when she released his hand. It wasn't strong enough to leave his hand cramped but at the same time he could still feel her grip even after she had let go. From now on he would greet people with a nod.

"Interesting..." He mused. Yet another person, that didn't know him, was passing the same judgement that he had earlier. "Can I assume you're a new employees as well?" Seeing as she had never seen the man who was so obviously comfortable in his surroundings before. Then again she could have been like him. He didn't know half the people at his old job.

Looking to the door for a moment, he saw someone else enter the room. A woman that looked just about ready to jump out of her skin. He raised an eyebrow at her awkward stance but quickly rearranged his face into half a smile as he nodded towards her.

There.

He had tried the whole communicating thing again. What more could anyone ask for?

Now she could approach him if she wanted to, maybe strike up a conversation once she did...if she did. Really it would have been fine with him. Being friendly wasn't his speciality but he was more than willing to try. For now anyway.

Laughing with her he nodded "Yep conga lines. I watched it myself." Heh, yep he'd not joined in. Well...he'd had an excuse he was already sitting down in the food court when it went through. not that he'd probably have joined anyway!

"Hello Dimitri!" Gavin replied a grin appearing on his face for the younger man. He look much better then the last he'd seen him. Perhaps the bug was gone! And those nonsense rumors about zombie people? Pfft, he hadn't believed it from the start. He just figured it was one of those rumors that had spread like usual because of the bug that had gone around.

"My break was great. How about your own? You're looking much better."

While Olivia was looking around, she saw a man nod at her. Or maybe not her... but he nodded at her direction. To be sure, she looked behind her. There was no one...

Ok so the man did nod at her. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY. A friend? Not... really... To return back his welcoming, Ivee managed a small smile. Err.... good enough.

Manolo strolled into the meet and greet. He absolutely knew nobody. Looks like he reached a new level of loner. He looked around double checking. Nope. Nobody. That's what you get when you live in the suburbs...in the Muggle world. Oh well. He leaned against the balcony and watched his fellow new co-workers converse.

Looks like Tyler was not going to let her go so fast. "Ya, Im interested in doing the work my job has to offer" she replied. She was definatly a mover and shaker.

Oh, yes, yes; the introductions "I forgot to introduce myself too" she replied. Sometimes, small talk was the most awkward thing in the world. "Lets start over. Hi Tyler, my name is Beijing Pain" she extended her hand.

"Are you okay?" she said, looking at his hand. By the looks of it, his hand might be getting cramps. Usualy her handshakes diddnt cause people that much pain, but it looked like this one might be in need of some first aid equiptment. "I have a very firm grip" she said lightley.

"Nope" she wasn't a new employee "but Im new to the misister of magic's office"
She examined her freashley polished jade colored fingernails as she thought of something else to say. Hmmmmm. "Maybe we could go find some ice for your hand or something" she suggested. Although, there was a question she needed to ask joker over there. "but right after I ask someone a question". So she would stick around for a liiiitttlle bit longer.

was certainly going to make at least a few new friends. That was alright, anyways! It was only the beginning of the work year, barely! There'd be plenty of more time for all that. Maybe moving wouldn't be so bad after all!

It was looking up, so far.

Now, where to start?? She decided it would be best to go around and meet some new people first, before doing anything else. She didn't like looking as I'd she was alone, which didn't really help you. She had figured out what that did to her. One clue: it didn't help!!

Hmm, who should she start with?? Although this type of approach didn't work on her, nor had anyone ever made an attempt to do so, he did it for others. After all, it WAS the easiest and most polite way to go up to someone new!!

As far as she knew.

Approaching a woman who looked a little alone, she said cheerfully, extending her hand, "Hello! I'm Giacinta, but you can call me Gia." There. It was that easy! Hopefully, this would turn out as well as planned. She wasn't planning on being a loner here! Not now, not ever.

How nerve wracking this was! Gia found it a little hard to work her way through the crowd, her frail body getting quite squished. Her hat tipped over to side quite a bit, tempting to fall into the sea of feet. Eeeep!! That wouldn't be good. Not at all!

Re-adjusting her hat to the top of her head again, she worked her way through the crowd, looking for someone else to strike a chat with. Though, THAT wouldn't be too hard.

Quite too focused on getting out of this blob alive and making new friends, Gia accidentaly bumped into someone, knocking her back into the reality. Ooops... That wouldn't hit off so well. Hopefully this person was forgiving? GAH, she got so worried over stuff like this!! "Oh! I'm quite sorry," She apologized, clearly nervous.

BLECH, get her out of here!!

Elizabeth nodded, "Interesting." She shifted her weight, trying not to feel awkward being next to Jack. They had talked about it and was set on trying to work it out... as well as not make it public about what happened and them having problems.

Manolo jumped a little, startled from his thoughts. He looked to see who's voice he heard. Hmm, a lady. Must be a more current employee of the Ministry. He smiled, "Hello, miss." He shook her hand. "Yes, miss. Manolo Black, Department of Magical Creatures, at your service." He bowed slightly.

What was she going on about?--Oh his hand.

"Yes, of course I am." He said dismissively. His hand was perfectly fine afterall, he was simply stating that she had a firm grip. He'd certainly had hand shakes that went worse than the one he just shared with this woman. It was only after he had spoken that he realized his tone wasn't the friendliest. "I really am fine though." He tried in a much nicer tone.

"But thanks for the concern." He was even being genuine now. He nodded when she proved him wrong. "Ah so then...it's simply a new position." And here he thought he wasn't so alone with this new thing. "Well it's like I said, my hand is just fine so we won't need to be getting any ice."

There was a moment's silence as he thought of something else to say. "So what job position did you occupy before transferring to the Minister's office?" You could never go wrong with polite conversation.

Okay so that didn't quite go how he'd planned. Did no one walk up to someone else once they were acknowledged any more?

This meant that it was time for a different approach. Even though he really didn't want to be the one going around and approaching people it seemed this one needed more help with her social skills than him. Consequently, he would make the exception.

"Hello." Clearly he was going to have to be the one to strike the conversation. "The name's Gavin, Gavin Isaacs, and you are?" Then he threw in a smile; all about the friendliness afterall.

Standing in one place was getting him nowhere. The people here weren't nearly as nosy or assertive in their approach to new people as the ones in the last place he worked.

Unfortunately this meant even more effort would need to be put out. Moving around the room proved to be a challenge of its own. Every few steps he took led him into another person--literally. His latest run in happened to be a woman who didn't look like she was looking where she was going. This was obviously her fault. He, however, being the good person he was would overlook it in the name of good social relations.

"Hello there." He even started the conversation; something he was convinced not many people around here knew how to do. "I'm Gavin." Now you. Unless, of course she was one of the many who wasn't so good at this conversation game and had no idea what her next move should be. Dear merlin, let her be a smart one.

She smiled widely at him and shook his hand. "But please, you can call me Ella. Formalities aren't my thing." She couldn't really oppose to the bowing thing, though. Heh.

"No, no. I was just daydreaming." He gave her a surprise look. "Oh! So you're my boss!" He laughed. "Great to meet you, MISS." He chuckled softly under his breath. Bowing was just part of his goofy personality.

Since she was speaking with Gavin too, Beijing decided to give the next person who entered the circle a hello. "Hi, Im Beijing". She had had enough handshakes for the moment. She knew that nobody wasn't any more germy then she was, but Beijing had shaken so many hand that she wanted to wash them.
"New to the ministry?"


"I used to work for accidents and catastrophies. As the spell reversal agent" she replied. The small talk was beginning to bore her, but she stook it out because she had to. Beijing would much rather be doing something more hands on, so to speak. Moving on. "so are you a new employee". She could not recall seeing his face previousley at the miniatry, but maybe that was just because she stayed up in level three all day. She did want to meet some people from other departments after all.
