Isobel smiled, hugging her sister tight. She really had missed Tasha so much. Natasha was her closest sister, and they did spend a lot of time together. Hopefully they'd spend more time together now that they were back at work. She'd have to get Tasha to come down to her office weekly or something so they could catch up. She was sure Thea wouldn't mind. Talking about Thea, she really needed to see her best friend too. "Yes. It's a good idea." She nodded with a smile. Made everyone mingle.

"Louisa's got them." Isobel nodded with a smile. Her sisters had been good with that so far. Spying her husband out the corner of her eye, she turned and waved a little at him. She was positive this whole orientation was really not his thing. "I'm gonna go collect them after work" She added, turning back to her sister.

"They have been pretty well." Isobel nodded as she smiled at Dorian. She wasn't too sure if he knew about her and Wesley's children, but what better time to tell than now. "Wesley and I welcomed twin boys into our family over the christmas period." And hadn't had much sleep since. "Did you have a nice break?"


"And me with you." Isobel nodded with a smile. She did appreciate every single one of her employees. Mysteries needed a tight knit community, and she liked knowing all of her employees on a personal level. It was what made her glad that the department was rather small in comparison to the previous one that she had worked on. She took his hand, and shook it gently. This man did seem pretty polite, he was going to be very welcome in the department.

Oh. And he had noticed her lateness. Isobel chucked gently. "Not usually." She shook her head. She liked being punctual. "I have newborn twins, I was just dropping them off at my sisters." She explained with a nod. "You know how babies can be..." She mused with a shrug.

"Thank you." He gave her a polite nod. Oh, now she wanted to talk? Wasn't she still otherwise occupied? "Nice to meet you, Ms. Warrington." Which it would have been under any other circumstance. He didn't say that out loud, which was a surprise, especially now his shoes were irreversibly ruined and she'd been the person to snap at him. "I work on level five. International Cooperation, and which level do you work on? If you don't mind me asking."

Um, what? He'd refused to take her money thinking he was being kind and she decided to throw it back in his face? Okay, next time, he wouldn't be doing that. He just stared at the zombie woman until she looked like she was going to throw up again. He stood his ground though, figuring it couldn't get much worse for him. His eyebrow raised as she yelled at everyone. They were just trying to help.

Charles nodded at the man, appreciating being called what he was used to hearing. His eyes followed the man's to his shoes and he glanced at Kensi, silently telling him it had been her fault. Standing stock still through the weirdness that ensued, Charles wondered if zombie really WAS the right word now. She was doing what all the zombies in those muggle movies did with a large helping of creepy dumped on top.

"Um, no offence I can understand why you are fascinated by creatures and would like to watch creatures in their natural habitat, but I’ve never had a very good hand with creatures at ALL except tame pets hence why I’d have skipped the yeti’s." Natasha explained to Ella. Care of magical creatures lessons in her school days had been tough, scary and sometimes embarrassing she vividly remembered.

Shrugging she sighed along with Ella. "Yes unfortunately the vacation is over. I’m excited and ready to get back to work thought and to get to know all my new co-workers." She added as an afterthought. There was no way that she was going to meet all of the new level 3rs tonight. "Are you going to enter the raffle?" Tasha asked since she was toying with the idea herself even if she never won anything.



Splendid, just splendid now Kensi was shouting at her and acting hysterical because she had used the phrase escort. Okay Tasha could admit it was a bad choice of word in retrospect but did the younger woman have to glare and get all outraged because of it?

SIGH!

In a calm tone Tasha stepped back in front of Kensi to try and repair the damage which she seemed to have caused. "Yes you are sick we can all see that. There is no use biting our heads off when we are only trying to help you." Pfft. Looooong pause. "It’s admirable of you to want to work even when you are sick to not put your colleagues without backup on an important case but I think my sister Isobel and also Dorian can attest to the fact that you will hinder more than help in your current state of sickness." She was RIGHT! Kensi had been drooling, throwing up and well been pretty much hysterical and sat fire to a man shoes. She couldn’t be considered stable or fit to work. Anyone could see that.

And Tasha was still majorly displeased by being glared and shouted at.

"Oh, no I think your right. It’s a big plot against me. I think somebody needs to go to the bottom of it asap." Natasha said sounding slightly shocked and worried. Doing her best to contain the laugh that was bubbling inside her she asked "Did you do anything nice on your vacation Dorian?" besides chatting with her in Scribbulus.

Louisa was babysitting the twins for the day while Isobel and Wesley were both here and at work. At least it wasn’t their mother. Tasha would have raised a big brow if she had volunteered. "Can’t you get Wesley to collect the twins after work? I want a sister night without the twins. Don’t get me wrong I adore my nephews but I miss our sister time." She pleaded.

And really she wanted someone to talk to about everything and gossip with and Isobel was her go to person for that.

"I work on Level three. Accidents and Catastrophs." Tasha supplied with a slightly broadened smile. Trying to smooth over the fact that she had snapped at him earlier she asked "What do you work with? If you don't mind me asking?" International cooperation. Hmm. Foreign relations and such she had many dealings with that department but she hadn't the pleasure of meeting Charles. Maybe she would now?

This Meet and Greet was an awful idea after all. Saul has to be met, or greeted. Deciding that this whole orientation was dullsville Saul figured he'd just wait for the tours to begin and get this whole this over with. Heading back to the Entrance he stopped and winced in pain as something heavy crushed his toes. Aa... Saul Blurted out before suddenlt being smacked on the back and losing his balance gefaw! were the next strange words to escape his lips as he waved his arms around frantically to regain balance.
This wasn't a Meet and Greet it was a Meet and Beat!

"I-it's cool." Saul said as he straightened his thick glasses on his face and bent down to rub his foot. As soon as he stood up Saul realized who this guy was...

IT WAS THAT GUY WHO FORCED THE ONE GUY INTO HIS OWN JOB AT THE SECURITY POINT! THE LAZY GUY WHO ALSO HAS A HEAVY FOOT!

This is what he was doing? Just wandering around and stepping on feet. very rude and unprofessional. After some more awkward silence and stares Saul figured he might as well try this greeting thing. "Saul" He said as he put his arm out for the Heavy-Footed Lazy guy to shake. "Today's my first day."

"I see..." he mused. "Does he work in the ministry as well?" Maybe it was a family thing. A lot of people worked where they worked simply because of the family history. "And does your husband work in the ministry as well?" Not that it was any concern of his but he figured he would ask anyway.



He nodded reflectively when he saw her get that distant look in her eyes. A bad memory maybe? Sigh. It seemed he was destined to bring up a lot of those in his short time there. This was why he didn't like talking to people; everything he said seemed to be wrong.

Thankfully she perked up again. "I hope so too!" She had no idea just how much. He was resolved to be a better person and that wouldn't have been possible if he was put up against the type of people who's special ability seemed to be annoying him sinfully. "It's a shame you don't know any personally though." The information might have been useful.

"I don't suppose you could tell me anything about the Minister then?" He didn't follow up on this kind of thing, especially seeing as he wasn't even in the country for quite a while. It was pretty pointless. No matter who was incharge his taxes were still the same and he still woke up on the same side of the bed. Very. Pointless.



Ahhh, another one of them. "A seven year old. She sounds pretty...smart..." He'd use that word for lack of a better one. "How many children do you have--if you don't mind me asking." The other woman hadn't minded and in fact she'd open his eyes to the fact that people were still contributing to overpopulation. Was the woman another contributing factor? He had to try hard to not give her a suspicious look. How anyone liked or wanted children was beyond him...though he did love his nieces dearly.

He chuckled at her next line. "I guess I have something to be grateful for right there." He might have started pulling out his hair if she had--or walked away; that was an option too. His favourite option for most situations actually. "Exactly how are they left-handed though?" He didn't even think it mattered in animals...




"Good!" One less thing to worry about in his spare time. Things wouldn't have gone so well if no one bothered to let him know those things. He would have to keep in contact with this woman; she might have meant the difference between a good evening and being eaten alive. A world without Gavin Isaacs; he didn't even want to think about it.

"And what about you?" He asked with genuine curiosity. "Where you any good at Potions?" He could never understand how some people received a grade T in such a simple subject.



He gave a small nod of approval when the woman didn't try shaking the life out of his incredibly important hand. Good to know at least she had enough restraint.

And of course she was looking forward to meet him. Who wouldn't be?

"Babies?" He nodded slowly. "Yeah, I have some idea..." And by some he meant very limited. Children on a whole just weren't his thing so outside of his nieces who were thankfully older than babies, he didn't come into contact with many. "Boys or girls?" See? He could pretend to be interested. "And congratulations!" Most people had one kid but nooo, she went and had a whole two to add to the surplus population. Sigh. Women.

Kensi was still very much behaving...like a zombie....her drool seemed to be getting worse, if that was possible...she was going for that man...but he conveniently moved out the way! No matter! She just kept walking, away from the group...and towards the other side of the room, her arms outstretched.

The redhead was walking slow and as if she...couldn't exactly control it. She wasn't exactly...seeing...since her eyes were glazed and unfocused. There was a chair, pushed out from a table, and Kensi's foot caught onto it. She tripped, and fell, flat on her face. She looked mighty silly, laying there, sprawled out...but she wasn't moving. She continued to drool...but her eyes were closed...

She groaned a bit....but other than that, the redhead seemed to be quite still..and not there at all...

Oh for heaven's sake! It was just a term of endearment, completely harmless. Like when he had just called her gorgeous a couple of minutes ago. As for being sneaky, "Well, I am in the MLE, after all," Roxanne replied, arching a brow. It paid to be sneaky in that department, even if you weren't an Auror or anything like that.

Ah, so he had signed up for the whole guided tour thing. "No way. Probably would have to know some history about the place, and I just don't." Not to mention that she was feeling just slightly bitter about the fact that when she started, she had just kind of been thrown into the thick of things. As far as she was concerned, the newbies could just figure it out for themselves the same way she had. Would weed out the weaker ones that way. She did feel a little bad for thinking that way, but there it was.

Victoria smiled, "Thats sounds lovely." Getting married in Hawaii would be cool! She laughed a little, "Very cold and rainy."

Victoria nodded. "I will have to go get one of the sheets so I can get you and others to fill it in," she told him. She would go do that soon, but she didn't know when.

"Well, during lunch we can go anywhere to eat," she told Gavin. He did have a lot of questions didn't he? But she was happy to answer them.

Victoria giggled a little, "It's nice to meet you as well Mr. Armstrong and I'm glade you are okay from the wall." It could be worst if he hurt himself. It could happen, she knew someone who hit their head so hard on the wall it gave them a bad bruise.

Victoria agreed. "Yes they have. I was around one of the first here and its been pleasant." She enjoyed talking to everyone that was working at the Ministry even if they weren't on level 1.

Elizabeth blinked and watched him run away. This day was getting weirder by the second...


"No." She shook her head then ndded, "Yeah, my husband works as an ambassador as well." Elizabeth smiled, "It is how we met even." She laughed.


Elizabeth smiled, "It was." She laughed, "Oh cold and rainy?" She wrinkled her nose a little, "That's too bad..."

"You know what? I totally forgot about the possibility of those objects interfering in sports. My daughters play Quidditch, so I definitely would not want a rogue bludger getting snuck in a game that they were playing in." Melissa agreed with him.

Then she smiled when she heard that Tyler's brother was also an Auror. "Oh he is. I wonder whether James has met him. Do you mind me asking what his name?" Melissa hoped that she didn't come across as being too nosey. "Wouldn't it be amazing if they actually worked together?"

Melissa then turned back to Victoria, grateful that Victoria understood her nervousness today



Melissa blushed when Victoria asked how long she had been working in the Ministry. "Actually I have been with the Ministry for three years. I was first in the Department of Transportation before I transferred over to the MLE. But I have to honestly say that I don't really know that many people."



As Melissa chatted with Tyler and Victoria, she noticed someone enter the hall. She was smiling which just made Melissa smile more. This was one woman who liked being here. Melissa waved at her trying to catch her eye because she was interested to get to meet her.



"Quidditch? Did you use to play the game?" Melissa interest perked up on hearing that Mariel had experience playing Quidditch. "My children love playing the game. So I'm always out in the stands cheering them on, whenever I can."



Melissa shook her hand. "Hello Ms. Cade. It's nice to meet you. I have to admit that I've met more people in one day, then I have in the last 3 years I've been with the Ministry." Melissa told her.

Now after that Herbology talk with the man and the part where she had to tell him about the new plants. They moved on to Potions, another of Ivee's strong classes. For some reason, though, her skills in Herbology and Potions team up well because she knew some plants also need a specific type of potion or brewed stuff. Yep. And...

"Yes," Ivee said. "I believe I got Os in both my OWLS and NEWTS in Potions." IMAGINE OLIVIA LIESEL RATCLIFFE NOT GETTING HIGH RESULTS IN POTIONS. That's just MAD! Really! She loves Potions as much as she loves Herbology.

Penny wandered around, a bit lost in all the social conventions at the Ministry. How was she supposed to do this again? She wasn't shy. Definitely not. But she had no clue what was normal to talk about, or who to talk to. It had been a while since she last was involved in a job with ACTUAL people.

Not that Penny minded. She would be fine not talking to others. They seemed to all know each other anyway, right? Penny took a sip of water, and as she did, the link on her bracelet caught on a chair, breaking it in an instant, and sending what was left of her bracelet flying off. Sigh. Penny calmly walked over to where it had landed to pick it up.

He nodded in response to her. Maybe he should just tell her he spoke some Troll, since it seemed like he was only one who did around here. Then she'd have that one filled in for sure. "It's interesting to find out things about people that they wouldn't tell you otherwise."

Oh, she was one of those poor people who had to deal with accidents caused by stupid young people who didn't know when to use their wands. Sympathy for the woman appeared unexpectedly, but he didn't make it clear. "That sounds... interesting." And frustrating. "I'm the American Ambassador, so mostly, I talk to the Americans. Though if someone needs an interpreter and doesn't speak the language, I can be called on." He knew this much and was expecting it to happen one day.

It wasn't difficult letting Isobel and Natasha have their little sisterly moment. Dorian just stood back, as his conversation with the latter hadn't been that important. Just an amusement, really, especially as she'd understood that. It wasn't worth relaxing enough to use his sense of humor if the other person didn't understand it, so he'd turned back to Charles as the man had noticed his glance at the shoes. Not to mention he had noticed the ambassador's obvious pleasure at being referred to formally, which told Dorian that there had been a bit of an issue with the usual informal sense that the Ministry workers had adopted with each other. At least that told him he wasn't alone in being polite, and he'd nodded slightly at the look towards the oddly-acting Ms. Whitworth. Apparently he'd missed a bit of pyrotechnics, even if he'd managed to witness the zombie actions.

He'd turned back to Isobel with a nod as she had addressed him, however. "So I'd heard. Congratulations," he replied. Wondering slightly how Wes was taking to being a father of twins, as well as if natash ahad mentioned meeting him in Scribbulus' during the break. At least they were boys, as he imagined it would have been even more amusing if the children had been girls. It wasn't his business, however, and especially not as Natasha had responded to his continued teasing. "Perhaps a bodyguard is necessary, or a shield charm," he replied with another nod. Still acting serious, even as he doubted anyone would truly have to be concerned with attacks by stationery. If they were, it only meant more work for himself in the long run, or MMAO. "Unfortunately, I can't say that I had. It's difficult truly taking a break from work, it seems," he continued, as she'd asked about the remainder of his holiday. Besides the amusing discussion with her in Diagon Alley.

And it seemed he still was having difficulty avoiding thinking about work, as Ms. Whitworth had simply continued on past him after he'd sidestepped. Not reacting in the slightest to his low suggestion, and he watched as she had her unfortunate collision with the floor, concern crossing his face. Well, Stunning was unnecessary, he thought, glancing at the others in his group before taking a step toward the fallen redhead. They should at least make sure she was alright, besides the odd behavior. At least he'd witnessed what he'd heard of before the holiday now.

Momentarily distracted by the sight of his wife waving to him across the room, Wes' face lit up and he, of course, waved back. His big arm nearly knocked over the guy he'd just stepped on, so he quickly put his hand back down and tried to look serious, not amused, by the other man's expression.

"Saul," he repeated, shaking his hand firmly. "Welcome to the Ministry. I'm Wes, Wes Ferguson, DMLE Head. You..." he squinted at the man, then took a shot in the dark. After all, how many Sauls were running around the Ministry?

"You're new, you said? New to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, by chance?"

Heh, blaming it on the department? Konrad raised an eyebrow at that. "Trained and paid to be sneaky, huh?" Should he mention aloud that he liked it? Loved it? "Maybe I should apply for a different job." You know, to be trained to be sneaky, as well. Pffft. His tall figure wasn't made to be sneaky. Period.

And... what about history? "Oh, really?" He loved history... but he knew nothing about the Ministry's history. "I suppose I should do some research, then?" All of a sudden, he didn't feel like being a guide anymore. Shouldn't it be about socializing and just giving some directions?

"Oh Armen, that's very sweet of you, but I couldn't ask you for money--especially since we haven't even been on a real DATE yet," Gabi reminded him with a wink. They'd definitely tried to plan it...several times...and things just kept popping up. Like this awful Hufflepuff debacle. Armen was back to his rightful place as Department Head as well, which only made their schedules even more hectic. Ah well. They'd get around to it eventually, it didn't matter to her in the grand scheme of things now that they'd confessed their mutual attraction to each other.

She giggled like a little school girl as he gave her a kiss on the cheek. Armen just always knew what to say...and now they could enjoy themselves and mingle, and she got the pleasure of bragging that she was the date of the most handsome, and obviously the most ambitious and distinguished department head in the Ministry. "You're right, I just can't believe Hogwarts has come to this. I was certain he'd be in my house, that boy can twist his words to get me to agree to anything," she joked. It was true though, and he was sneaky too--that boy had been sneaking candy in the house for years right under her nose. The horror! "Perhaps homeschooling will be best. He certainly wouldn't get a better charms education anywhere else," she added smugly. If the position wasn't already filled at Hogwarts, she'd be the Charms professor in a heartbeat. Then the students at Hogwarts would REALLY be getting the best education possible.

"Hmm yes, who will survive the Ministry?" she said with a smirk as she linked her arm in his and turned to look at the crowd. "Quite a few fresh new faces...turnover rate in my department is awful. It's why I don't bother to get to know many of them," she added with a sigh. She really did wish more people stuck around longer...it got awfully boring with no one to really talk to except the department head and a handful of workers that wouldn't be there more than a month or so. "How's transportation doing?" she asked with a smile.

Well, how was Hershey supposed to know? She hadn't spent one day inside the Ministry of Magic before this very evening. "Considering I haven't started yet, I'm not quite sure. I'll take a raincheck on that answer." She laughed lightly, slightly bothered by this talk of zombies. She'd like to keep her brains, thanks.

"Like legit zombies?" Cause she hadn't seen.... any zombies around.

Hershey shrugged, "I don't know, it's what I was told. To be honest, I'm not quite sure what's going on at all." And this woman seemed to be confused too, so at least she had company in that part. And then the woman introduced herself. AH! Her boss. Heh. Interesting way to meet. Hershey shook the woman's hand and smiled politely.

"I'm Hershey McKenna, one of your newest employees." Because she was certain she wasn't the ONLY one.

American Ambassador…

So Charles handled cases and problems concerning America and he was also an interpreter. Good to know. "Which is more fun; working as an interpreter or an ambassador?" Tasha betted on the latter but it seemed he held both jobs so maybe he liked both jobs equally?

"It is interesting. I work as a concealment advisor. I inspect locations periodically to see that they are suitable for events which the ministry or outside organization would like to use and I also give recommendations on what conceal charms should be used to conceal said events." Her job involved more things like communicating directly with several ministry departments and to act as a liaison between organizations and the ministry. But Tasha didn’t utter that she there was a chance she’d bore Charles and she didn’t want that.



Body GUARD??

Urm...Tasha coughed and then shook her head "I think a sheild charm will work efficiently. I should have thought of that myself." She wouldn't have minded if Dorian volunteered to be her body guard, but this wasn't serious enough for such arrangements. And besides she would have to clear that with Althea and Tasha wouldn't want to go through the embarrassing request.

"I see. That's um sad. Everyone should be able take their mind off work on vacation." Okay she had cheated since she had responded to some urgent work owls during vacation but for most of the time she had relaxed.

Tasha was about to ask if they could go bowling together sometime when her attention was averted from Dorian to Kensi.

As the sick girl tripped over a chair and landed face flat onto the ground Tasha exclaimed "Oh dear, Kensi!"That must have hurt badly. Rushing over to the sprawled out girl who layed too still on the floor for comfort she kneeled beside her. "Kensi, are you all right? Can you hear me? Does it hurt anywhere?"

At least Kensi groaned and kept drooling so she wasn't totally unconcious even if her eyes were closed. Peering up at Dorian she said worriedly. "I think you need to send for someone. Kensi needs help."

'Ministry Shministry' in England!

That last bit, that's why Dartanian didn't like it much. If he could have had it his way, he'd be in France all the time but his annoying older sister had to boss him around. Didn't she get he was the boss and no one else? Meh! Silly Women, only Amy was sane besides for when they had faught that was.

There were only two reasons why the Le King actually made an effort for this 'Ministry Shministry' event. One he was STARVING and people lately smelled kind of tasty to him in an odd way lately. So he was here for the people. Two His sister had made him go. He was just REALLY hung.....OW!!!

That must have been the third wall he had walked into today. Dartanian rubbed his head and then turned away from the wall trying to regain his focus.

Blink! Squint! Blink! Stare!

His eyes were a little sore and red too, but that didn't stop him. He wanted to find..."GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!" FOOD! These people would understand him right?

Mariel nodded as Victoria relayed her son's name then tilted her head slightly as she continued. She got the feeling that she wasn't fond of the name, so she smiled and said, "Oh.. yes, children are often named after relatives.. My sisters and I all have names that start with M like our mother's name and our middle names start with G after my father George." She shrugged lightly. It was an odd little tradition she thought, but not uncommon to give names for reasons like that.

"Oh have you?" she asked as Victoria continued. "I played gobstones a little in school, but my shining point was always Quidditch. I was on the team at Hogwarts.. Did you go to school there too?" She thought Victoria was a little older so she probably wouldn't have known her if she did. "I played a little professionally as well.."

"Well, I'm sure Africa is lovely," Mariel said with a smile. "I've never been there though.. but one day.." She nodded. "I think it will be fun.. It's my first day though, so we'll see." She held up her fingers and crossed them, giving Elizabeth a wink.


"Oh you're fine.." she said with a smile. "It's normal to be a little nervous in a new situation, right?" Mariel added with a shrug. Unless he babbled on like that all the time.. well, then that would be a bit odd. And he seemed to be relaxing the more he talked to her..

Mariel stood in front of Tyler with her arms crossed, amused smirk present on her face. Just where did he think she belonged? Environment?! Snort. But Minister's office? He must think she looked posh and polished to guess that.. unless he was just trying to flatter her. Either way, she smiled graciously and said, "Minister's office, huh? Good guess but no.. Games and Sports actually." Now, she wondered, what would he think of that? Too tomboyish? She looked at him appraisingly and said, "Okay.. my turn.." She thought for a few moments.. where would he fit? "Mysteries?" she said finally. Because right now he was a bit of an enigma to her.

Mariel grinned widely at Melissa as talked turned to one of her favorite topics. "Why yes, I did. I played at Hogwarts as well as professionally." Her eyes widened slightly and she nodded as the woman continued. "Do they play at Hogwarts as well?" She was quite interested to know which House they played for.

A movement out of the corner of her eye, caught Mariel's attention and she turned her head to see a woman walking over. She gave her a tentative smile as the other person went to pick something up. Hmm, she looked a bit out of sorts, the brunette thought as she took in her appearance. New? "Hi there," she said, trying to catch her eye. "First day as well.. or are you an old-timer?" Not that she meant she was old as she didn't look much older than herself. More like veteran employee.

Ashley raised an eyebrow when the woman next to her suddenly spoke. The blonde turned to look at her, a curious smile on her face. "I wouldn't say annoying, loud maybe..." But everyone seemed to be in good spirits and Ash didn't really mind that. "I have to admit I'd probably be like that too if I knew more people around here." And she shrugged, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "I'm Ashley, by the way. Ashley Green." And she held out her hand to the stranger. She was actually quite pleased that someone had decided to talk to her. Saved her the task of walking around and trying to awkwardly insert herself in conversations that were already going on.


"Well that's good, then." Ashley said with a small smile. Nerves were only normal at these kinds of events, well unless you were a social butterfly or something. "Yeah, exactly. Embarrass yourself at a work party and be sure you'll hear about it from your coworkers like...forever." And she laughed softly, amused by this thought. "Yeah, I've always been fascinated with brewing potions so it's only natural I would end up in this field." Grin. "Dad wanted me to become a doctor but I suppose I'm still helping people, just in a different way." So really she was still following in his footsteps.

The blonde smiled as Tyler joked with her, happy to see that he was feeling more comfortable. She was too, which was nice. "Well thank you, and you seem quite nice as well." And she was glad, cause the last thing she wanted to do was talk to a jerk. Ashley raised an eyebrow when Tyler explained what he meant about muggle law enforcement. So he was divorced...and had a son? This was surprising to her as he looked kind of young. She didn't exactly know what to say so she nodded her head. "I...see. Well it's nice that you did that for her then, and that you can do this now. Best of both worlds, yeah?" And surely his experience in law enforcement would help him in his new position. "I'm sure you'll enjoy it once you get used to it." She added with a smile. That's usually how new jobs worked if you were lucky.

"You know it," Roxanne replied kind of smugly. She was proud of her sneakiness, though if she was entirely truthful, she owed some of it to her house back at Hogwarts as well. Slytherins, both current and former, were pretty renowned for being sneaky (amongst other things). "You could work with me in the Wizengamont....." That would be interesting, to say the least. For a variety of different reasons.

"Yeah. Well, whoever's assigned to you might have some history related questions...." She knew she would if she were on a tour of a building. After all, tours were supposed to be about learning, right?

Tyler listened to her and nodded "Yeah they would! so MLE would be there, so we will be working with the Games and Sports guys soon enough" he said as he heard that her daughter played quidditch "She does? what team does she play for? Yeah we wouldn't want anything to harm any of the players. So we can already see how we will be working with the other departments. " he said smiling as he wondered how they would work with some of the other departments such as Mysteries, and that new department he had heard about.

He smiled as she asked about his brother "Yeah he is, yeah I beginning to wonder that too" he nodded "His name is Adrian, well you never know they might have worked together since my brother was out there a while before he returned home just a few weeks ago" he nodded some more. He just couldnt wait to tell Dylan, that boy would be so happy to see his uncle again.



He smiled as she said that he was fine, he nodded as he took a deep breath "Yeah it is, cause its new and you dont wouldnt know how to handle it" he said as he saw her shrug. As he wondered what that shrug was for but he didnt question it since they had only just met.

He watched her stand there with her arms crossed as she looked amused before she smiled at him, he nodded "Yeah, no? Ohhh .. well that was my.. next guess." yeah after Mysteries and Accidents and Catastrophes "Thats pretty good, I am guessing you like sports.. which is good cause Quidditch is just awesome!" he nodded as he watched her think about where he belonged, wait she thought that HE belonged in Mysteries? He shook his head "Nope!! Try the MLE" he chuckled as he revealed what department he was working in. What would she think of that?



He smiled and nodded "Yeah I think so" he nodded as she agreed with him "Exactly! wouldn't want it to be a topic of conversation forever" he agreed with her point too as she laughed softly "You have? so what kind of potions do you like brewing up? hopefully not any truth serums or anything like that" he chuckled cause he wouldnt want her to slip him a potion and he end up making a mess of himself by speaking the truth to anyone. "He did? like a muggle doctor? thats cool, yeah you are! " he nodded "So.. he would still be glad that you are helping people.. even if not as a doctor.. right?" cause it would be quite sad that her father would not approve of what she did for a job.

He gave her a nod "No worries, dont have to thank me for that." he said as he smiled "Yeah you think so? well thats nice of you to say that" he smiled as he was glad that she thought he was nice. He saw her raise an eyebrow when he mentioned that he had been married before and had a son too "I married when I was 20.. so at quite a young age." he explained, he had loved her and decided that he wanted to be with her, he wasnt to know that it would end not long after. He nodded "Yeah well I didnt want her to have to deal with too much so soon into our marriage" he nodded as he talked more about it "Yeah I agree it is! So I know quite about the muggle world as well as the wizarding world. " he nodded "Yeah I think so.. I love Law Enforcement.. grew up in Law Enforcement." he smiled as he talked about it.

Konrad gave her a rather wolfish smile when she said something about her sneakiness, and apparently very proud of it, too, but his eyes widened when she mentioned working at the Wizengamont with her. "I don't think I'd do a good job there," he said doubtfully. The Magical Law Enforcement department was just... too much. Although there was a time he'd wanted to become an auror... but that idea went away pretty quickly.

History related questions... Well, research it was, as soon as he got home. "Thank you for the heads up, then," he grinned at her, this time kissing her briefly on the lips to thank her. Why should he bother and aim for her cheek, when she could turn into sneaky mode again and fool him? Heh. "Anyway, did you get to meet any new employees?" Were they supposed to go and look for anyone who needed help?
