Elections Sign Up Table
All Campaign Managers will need to submit, in person, the registration for their Board of Governor's candidate to be placed onto the ballot.
One of the members of the board of electors will be taking your information and your 100 galleon fee. Without this fee, your candidate will not be able to be on the ballot.
CANDIDATES ON BALLOT
Althea Schirmer
Erik Vinteren
Roxanne Carter
Andrew Rose
Lourdes Black
Carter Phillips
Atticus Alredge
Gavin Higareda
Corineus Vanderbilt
Cooper Cope
Sherman Clark
Nolan Reynolds
Like everytime he receives a memo that needs him to be there he makes it a point he puts it in his top priority. And to be there on time, all the time.
He sat down the chair behind the table and waited. He had hope for the other members of the Board fo Electors to be there soon.
But something is missing, he flicked his wand and a red rope appears, the ones similar to Muggle red carpet events. Zach thought it would make the queue more organised.
He sighed and took out a book he brought, a book for waiting.

She expected the note when it came. And as a member of the board of Electors she was very ready to this day. The managers were to come to register the candidates for the Ballot. Shouldn't be that hard. In fact, as a front desk secretary, she was used to such tasks and enjoyed them too. As long as she was working with a group of people, it delighted her.
As she got to the table, her heels clicking against the floor, the blonde spotted the undersecretary. With a smile on her face, she took a seat next to him. "Good day Mister McMillan," She said brightly. She was excited about this. As she hasn't gotten a chance to meet many of the Managers, she thought that now was a good chance. She might not have time to chat and talk but at least have their faces memorized.
Tapping her fingers on the table, She sat straight waiting for her fellow members of the board and for the managers to show up.

The day had finally arrived. It was time for Chandler to make sure Ivy was registered as a candidate for the Board of Governors, thus guaranteeing her name got put on the election ballot. Failing to do this one little task would mean a failure to the whole campaign, something he was not about to let happen.
Stepping up to the table he looked at the two people sitting there. "Good afternoon. I'm Chandler Montgomery, campaign manager for Ivy Knox. Is this where I need to be to get Ms. Knox registered for the Board of Governors ballot?" Looking around he had decided he was either very early or in the wrong place.
Where were all the other managers? Did they not care to get their candidates on the ballot?
Livia sneezed loudly and very un-ladlylike as she stepped out of the fireplace from which she had arrived at the ministry via the floo network services. Dusting off her two piece turquoise dress she procceed to level one. Coming into the Minister's office with her visitors tag stuck to strap of her handbag Livia scanned around for directions.
Her eye's landed on a table where some official looking people were sitting. Heading up to table instictively sure she was in the right place Livia took her place in the queue behind another manager (Chandler) to wait for her turn.
Zach was happy when he saw Victoria and smiled at her.
"How are you?" he said and then stopped a second because someone walked in and...

Zach looked up and saw one fo the Managers, Mr. Chandler Montgomery. he stood up to greet the guy and said, "Good day. How are you?" he said extending his hand to him.
"Yes, yes it is." he said in response to the question that was asked. "Here are the paperwork that needs filing up, and when you are done you can hand it over to my colleague, Victoria, including the payment." he said with a smile.
Satine walked into the room...always nervous since she always felt like the youngest campaign manager...she glanced around quizzically trying to find where they were to turn in all of their information and their money, which she still was wondering the purpose of.
She glanced around with her usual smile and pep and then walked towards where it seemed a crowd was forming...was it a line...she couldn't really tell. She reached into her purple bag and pulled out her Muggle binder of information. Yes that was her, always overly prepared and organized...was she a little OCD...maybe.

It seemed like he'd spent an eternity at Gringotts before he was finally through but it most likely hadn't taken that long. He wasn't the hasty type but he turned that way when he knew there was important things to be done. Like this. This was very important. He had to ensure his candidate actually got onto the ballot sheet.
He walked over to the gathering of what he would assume were other managers. Obviously, why else would they be here? Besides, he already knew most of them. Not personally but he'd seen them around.
All he had to do now was stand in this line...right..?
He could do that.

Smiling over at the undersecretary, Victoria tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, "I'm very good," She said motining randomly with her hands. "How're you?" Because it was polite to ask back and stuff.
Oh people here.

Seeing that managers started coming, Victoria turned forwards and fixed the best smile she could manage. She was used to this. As Zacharias greeted the first man in the line, the blond waited for the man to fill the papers and hand them over to her. WITH THE MONEY. Ahem...because it was important.
And another woman appeared. Victoria nodded at the woman, she was a manager too right? Unless she was in the wrong office. But the sign was clear enough.
As others came, Victoria offered a nod and reached for a parchment and a quill. Better not keep those people waiting. "How can I help you?" She said.

Abby was rather nervous. Yet she reminded herself not be... after all it was not like she was an auror or something. Abigail was glad she was not an auror, as she would have found the job quite stressful...
Now she was lucky to get a respectable office job and all. She had eben lost in her book when she noticed she had someone she needed to sort out.

Abby smiled her award winning smile at the campaign manager before her. She looked on the youngish side. Abby broke out into an even bigger smile when she noticed the binder. Abby always intended to be organised yet somehow she was never able to keep up with it so much once she got busy.
"Hello" she chirped. Yes she was one of those aonnying overly happy people. "I am Abigail Goodman... how may I be of service to you?" Abby already knew the answer, yet she like most women often asked questions she already knew the answer to.
What happened to the good ol' days where money didn't mean everything? Honora was rather ruffled at the fact that they had to PAY 100 galleons for their candidate's name to be on a piece of parchment. Regardless that it was the Board of Governor's ballot, she huffed over the absurd amount. Entering in a fashionable manner into the Ministry, and even more so up towards the sign up station, that frown on Honora's face turned right upside down when she saw Livia up at the front.
Honora waved ecstatically towards her before taking her place at the back of the line behind the tall man with the fancy hair.
Zach looked up and saw one of the Managers, Mr. Chandler Montgomery. he stood up to greet the guy and said, "Good day. How are you?" he said extending his hand to him.

100 galleons was...a lot of money. Was there so sort of wizarding inflation disaster that he was just blissfully unaware of? Charles was tempted to try and see if he could pay his way with pictures of his ambassador of cuteness and eternal sunshine like he had in Diagon Alley that one time, but somehow he figured that wouldn't go over too well. Not to mention probably make Mr. Phillips look like a nutcase and he certainly didn't want that.
Noticing the line, the dusty haired man stood at the back and waited his turn.
Maybe he would try it anyway....

Kezza really didn't want to pay 100 galleons to register her candidate - she wanted to haggle it but she was sure that that wouldn't be accepted. So the first thing she did was walk up to the table and reach into her bag and pull out a little bag with the 100 galleons inside of it. The little bag was labeled Schirmer.
Her wand was tucked into a holster on her leg just in case anything went wrong. Her shoes clack-clacked as she walked forward closer to the table.
"Hello" she smiled to everyone who worked at the Minister's office. Kezza placed the bag on the table. "I'm here to fill out the registration for Althea Schirmer" she smiled and reaching into her bag she pulled out the little bag-let of galleons and placed it on the counter.

Ah, level one. The floor where the Minister's office was, no? He doubted many people had had the privilege to come up here, even some of the Ministry's own employees. But he was here today to register Erik with the Board of Elections, so he was here on business and definitely allowed.
Freeing himself from the lift, he heard the golden grilles shut behind him and he set off down the hallway, the plush purple carpet muffling each footfall. Ah, that table looks official. And indeed it was the place to sign up. Behind the small table sat two employees, with no other managers in sight. Bjorn quickly put on his most winning smile.
"Gooood morning, sir and madam. I take it this is where I sign up my candidate for the Hogwarts Board of Governors election?" It was quite obvious, but it was always good to make people feel needed. He slapped a hand to his forehead. "Great Scot, one hundred Galleons? Quite a lofty sum, don't you think?" he said with a roguish wink. Nevermind the Galleons. We'll easily make it back with what we have planned for this summer...
Reaching inside his coat, he pulled out a tiny sack. "Undetectable Extension Charm," he said by way of explanation for the clearly not-Galleon-sized bag. "Don't worry, it's all in there. And I even checked it personally for leprechaun gold." Cue another winning smile.
Having done the dirty deed, he scribbled Erik's name down and filled in the necessary lines. "Well I think that about does it, no? Lots to do, so I'll just be off, then." Bjorn handed the paper to the assistants, turned tail, and walked back to the elevators.

Raelynn didn't have a problem paying the one hundred galleons. She looked down in her purse to make sure the bag of money was still in there. She was known to leave things at home, especially if they were important. Thank Merlin for that Accio charm! Her shoes clack-clacked as she walked forward. The sound got louder as she reached the table.
She smiled as she got to the table and said "Hello" Raelynn reached into her purse and pulled out the bag clearly labeled as Roxanne's. Once it was her turn she placed her purse onto the table and said "I'm here to fill out the registration for Roxanne Carter," She would get the money out later, after the application was done.

This was going to be the real test. Not that Covington ever showed any fear, and this was no exception. His campaign had started off rocky, but it was starting to hit its stride. Therefore, the only thing left to do was make sure that his candidate ended up on the ballot. That meant a trip to the Ministry, and he was going to enjoy every minute of it. Walking into the Atrium and getting through security, the elevator ride to Level One, and everything that followed it. It was fascinating walking through the hallways on his own, visitor’s badge dangling from his vest pocket along with the chain from his pocket watch. It was tempting to stop off in Law Enforcement just to see if anyone was still there from years earlier, but he had to do his job first. Amusement could happen afterward.
As he’d strolled up to the table, hands in his pockets, he whistled a bit when he queued up behind a few of the other campaign managers. Not for any reason other than just to show that he was in no way nervous about any of this, and he showed the workers behind the table a devilish grin as his turn arrived. “Covington E. Penney, here to register Mr. Andrew Rose for the election,” he said, jingling the coins in his pocket for good measure. He was doing this all completely aboveboard, even had that half-ridiculous 100 galleon surcharge with him for after the paperwork or whatever else had required his attendance.

"Please write legibly." he said with a smile on his face.
"You just need to write your name, the candidate's name. After dong so, my colleagues here will collect the form including the 100 galleon fee." he said nodding at every body in the room and in the queue.
He is now standing a bit far away from the table supervising and waiting for people to approach him, that is if they have any questions. This registration for the elections is running smoothly, although he cannot help but notice that everyone is disagreeing on the steep fee that was enforced upon them. For Zach, it is a bit ridiculous, but he cannot complain and he is not the one who made that rules.
He looked at the ones who have already finished, giving them a smile and a small wave as they are heading off.

100 galleons... Elric knew it is a bit too much for this but it has been a long while since he had bought something with wizarding money, so he doesn't really mind. Still though, doesn't change the fact that it's still expensive. They should really lower it down. Anyways, where is this 100galleons going to anyway?
Elric saw his other fellow managers and gave them a smile. He's not very well acquainted with any of them. Elric didn't manage to socialize a lot but that's okay because Lourdes Black is a great candidate.
Walking up to the man in-charge, he took out his wallet and took out 100 galleons for the payment. "I will be registering Lourdes Black for the election" this is by far the most important thing that a manager has to do.

Getting the piece of paper, he sort of smiled when the man requested them to write legibly. Let's face it, after entering medical school, handwriting never really grew on Elric. So he'll just try his best to do so.

Late! late late late! he was always late, all though this time it wasn't fashionable. Warfiled booked to the sign-ups to get his Candidate registered for for Ballot, his briefcase swinging wildly in his hand. Once he reached it the area for sign ups he noticed the line forming of the other managers. He pulled to a stop and quickly adjusted his tie to fit neatly aound his neck, and he patted down his suit jacket. Look presentable Warfield, you represent Cooper! He stuffed his one hand into his khaki pants pocket and waited.

He could hardly be of any use to Carter aaaaaaaaaaall the way over here. His little munchkin of perfection would never forgive him if things didn't end in the boy's favor. Also, Charles rather liked the boy and genuinely thought that he deserved a spot on the Board.

Turning she gave the rotund woman a little wave and a smile in greeting before she focused on what was going ahead of her.

Victoria returned the woman's smile and nodded as the manager filled out the required information. Good, someone who knew what to do. Not that the blond would mind explaining, she was very used to repeating.
"Thank you Miss Frost," She said taking the form from the woman and placing it where it belonged. Now to the more important part, the money part. The secretary's eyes followed the manager's hands as they counted the money. Immediately, Victoria took them with another nod of her head and put them safely in the drawer. Charmed one.
Just as she was going to wish the woman a good day it turned out she had a question. Chewing on the inside of her cheek, Victoria paused looking for an answer. How was she supposed to know why 100 galleons were to be payed. She was a member of the Board of Electors yeah but she didn't decide on the fee. Oh wait maybe she did with the others. Smiling yet another time she turned to the woman and spoke, "I do not see it that large. And it is necessary because preparing the ballots needs to be funded." Also employees needed to be paid. "I'm sure you a manager will understand and so will the candidates." Who with no doubt wouldn't let the fee stop them from participating in the ballots.
""Any thing else I can help you with?" Any more curious questions.

That was just about all he needed, yes? Now then. Who was he meant to hand these galleons to? He looked around but they all seemed a bit occupied at the moment. More or less this meant more waiting. Meh. Nothing he could really do about that now.
So many managers. Wow. Double checking on the files and pushing them further on the other side of the table, she looked up at the new comer. "Good day mister," She said with a smile. A permanent smile she's been wearing since the beginning of the day.
"I believe you're here for the ballots?" She said reaching for a paper, unless the man was lost. Which would be weird because of the sign on the door. "If so, please fill out your name and the candidate's which you manage their business and would like to sign them up for the ballots," She said. "And then the 100 galleons fee," She finished with a grin. The money part was her favorite.
Oh but the man already did this. Victoria smiled at the man another time and took the paper from him, "All is good, Just the fee and you'll be done," she said. Why were people not paying RIGHT AWAY. Ahem..

Entering in a fashionable manner into the Ministry, and even more so up towards the sign up station, that frown on Honora's face turned right upside down when she saw Livia up at the front.
Honora waved ecstatically towards her before taking her place at the back of the line behind the tall man with the fancy hair.
And to the next person on the line. Victoria smiled for the millionth time and reached for the paper than needed to be filled," Good day Miss," She greeted the woman, "I believe you're here for the ballots," DUH "Please fill out his with your name, your candidate's name," She said pointing on the paper, "And you'd just have to pay the 1oo galleons fee and registering for the ballots will be done," She grinned at the money part. She needed to be paid you know.

Victoria liked this woman. Because the blond spotted the money right away as the manager retrieved the fee from her purse. Finally someone who didn't forget pr question. A larger smile for this woman. "Good day Miss," She greeted her. "You are at the right place," She said with a nod as she reached for the required paper. "Please fill out this with your name, your Candidate;s name and don't forget the fee," The one you're holding in your hand. Mhhm. "Tell me if you have any other questions," She said giving the woman place on the desk to fill out the paper.

Don't forget the fee of course she wouldn't forget the fee. Even if a part of her wanted to forget it. Kezza smiled to Victoria - a somewhat harsh smile and took the papers she had handed her rather hastily. She wanted to get out of this establishment.
"Thank you" she curtly spoke an icy smile still in place on the wretched woman's face.
Quill in hand she scribed down her candidate's name.
