Well if he thought he was going to sit around having tea and biscuits on his first day then he was quite mistaken. Not that Oliver minded at all, he preferred to keep busy otherwise he would get bored and that's when he usually pulled some practical jokes. At that probably wouldn't go down well especially on his first day.
Monitor muggles? "Not a problem at all." he said to the boss man before turning his attention to Rusty. He caught the nod and returned one of his own, "Let's go see this Schultz chick."
And with that he headed for the exit to the conference room.

That had been a quick meeting. Good thing too considering what was going on at the lab. They had a lot of investigating to do there and the sooner they got started, the better.
When Jade approached, Ashley glanced up and nodded. She wanted to finish off her coffee first, though. She quickly downed the rest, eyeing Cora who also seemed ready to jump in.
Derek though...was he ready? The guy had been pretty traumatized earlier.
Standing, Ash smoothed her dress and eyed him curiously. "Ready to get started?" He was sort of in charge of this whole thing, was he not?

Aron ended the meeting swiftly giving out a few more tasks. Standing up Tasha gathered up her planner and headed for the exit. It was best to prioritize the visit to the specialty area over anything else. The toxicology lab explosion had shaken everyone up. She herself felt a little shaken which was only natural.
After delivering her message to Ms Schrimer she was going to pop up to level 2 and see if Dorian had time for some lunch.

His poor lab...
Derek literally spent the entire meeting staring sadly at the vial he was holding, thinking about all of his experiments and samples and rare ingredients and mixtures and his attempts of new creations and everything else that were now all gone and messed up.
He could hear the others speaking but he didn't pay attention to a word. He also didn't introduce himself. The only time when he sort of looked up was when his boss left the room, but Derek resumed his sad staring at the vial as soon as Aron was gone. Then he came back and all, but ehhh. No lab still, so what was the point?
Heavy sigh.
It wasn't until the others started talking to him - or something - that Derek snapped back to reality and blinked. Everybody else was getting up and leaving the room already. Well, that had been a fast meeting.
Derek got up still very disturbed and looked at the three females that were... standing there and waiting for something, apparently. Oh Merlin, he was 'in charge' or whatever, wasn't he? Why, Merlin? Why? "Uh..." He awkwardly looked at the walls behind the women and pocketed the vial. "Um, let's go." He said before quickly walking past them and going in the lab's direction.
