It was the day of the department meeting! And Angela had totally forgotten, and had woken a bit late. And then had rushed through getting ready and had left without breakfast too.
So as she hurried in to Level 3, she strode into the meeting room, her cheeks a little flushed. Smoothing down the front of her dress, she walked in, hoping she wasn't too late. "I'm not late, am I?" was the first thing that she asked, and then relaxed seeing only a few of others there. "Good morning everyone!" she smiled and sat down in a chair. "Feels nice to be back at work, right?"
Could she have coffee please? Having skipped breakfast, she stomach was just on the verge of growling loud.
Why, Derek was actually quite excited about all this. Weird. even he thought this was weird. He hated meetings and things alike, but he was very eager to know what they would be talking about this time - "talking" used in the loosest sense of the word, of course.
As soon as he entered the conference room, though, he deflated a bit. There were SO MANY people in there already... and he felt every eye falling upon him and judging him and he was suddenly nervous. Ugh.
Walking towards the table looking at its centre, and NOT at all those people, Derek quickly glanced up to the Head of Department after a few seconds of struggle. "Morning." He sort of mumbled, but in an audible way - he hoped.
The young man sat down as fast as he could, exchanging looks with anyone. At all. He knew everyone in there, obviously, but still. Eyes on the table in front of him and hands rubbing his knees every now and then.

Maine was probably going to be late for the meeting and truth be told it wasn't her fault. She'd spent long enough picking out what to wear and on top of that she had the morning sickness to take care of. Morning sickness, hah! More like all-the-time sickness. It was tiring and painful and just an all-around pain.
She did come to work anyway, because she needed the money. And she definitely couldn't afford to have that gigantic chunk cut out of her paycheck. Nope. So getting out of the lift and moving towards the Conference Room, she dropped her copy of the Daily Prophet off at her desk and picked up a notebook and pen. Now she was ready.
"Good morning, Althea. Everyone," she said, smiling before taking a seat randomly. Were they supposed to be sitting by divisions? Because Maine could't see any Task Force Agents that she recognized anywhere. She'd just sit here for now... unless she was told to move elsewhere.
Jade yawned a little as she headed to the A&C Conference Room. It was a touch too early for her tastes especially to have a departmental meeting first thing in the morning.
As she walked, she smoothed out her fiery red hair that today decided to be extra curly and bouncy despite the hair charms Jade had applied.
She walked into the room and saw that Thea, Ashley, and Natasha were already.
Wide awake now, Jade smiled and nodded to each, "Hey. How are you all doing?" before taking her seat.

Natasha had just pulled out her big notepad/planner out of her purse when co-worker after co-worker started to trickle into the conference room for the department meeting. Althea's memo had certainly made people go the extra mile by showing up well before the meeting was to start. Wondering where the refreshments mainly coffee were she looked up happy for the distraction when Jade arrived. "Good morning Jade! I'm okay. How are you?" There was no need to drag up her non-existent sleep.
In Jade's backwater Angela walked in. Smiling at her Tasha gestured for her take the seat next to her. "Good morning Angela, you aren’t late. The meeting hasn’t started yet." She reassured her colleague with a beam. Nodding she petted her notepad. "Yes it is really nice to be back and to get back to work." Without worrying about her sister’s health Tasha hoped.
After Angela one of the few male’s in the department made his entrance. Shooting Derek a smile Tasha greeted him warmly. "Morning Derek!" She knew he had been involved in finding the cure against the infestation which Izzy was now cured from. He was a little odd though but she didn’t pay that any mind since Derek had proven that he was someone to count on in a crisis.
The last to arrive for the time being was Maine. Smiling at her from across the table Tasha greeted her quietly. "Good morning Maine. Did you have a nice vacation?"

There was a department meeting todayyy! It was exciting! Or at least, Cora hoped it was. Would be sad if they started their day off with a boring, depressing sort of meeting, y'know? So hopefully it would be good!
Beaming happily as she walked into the room, she briefly worried that she was late. So many people already here! But, from what she heard, they were all still greeting each other, so they must've just arrived too, so it couldn't have started. Thank Merlin.
"Good morning, everyone!" she greeted them all, smiling especially at her department head, before sitting down in an available seat.

Tamara Scamander made her way into the conference room, a tight smile in place. She had yet to meet many co worker, but she felt comfortable when she spotted Althea. Her smile became more genuine. "Good day, Althea. Everyone..." Giving a stiff nod she slid into a seat and waited to get down to business.

Jade smiled a slightly tired smile at Natasha, "That is good. How was your vacation?"
As each new person arrived, Jade smiled and nodded at them. She was especially amused by Derek's behavior.
