Please Note Gavin listened the woman suggest room ventilation, thinking that it was something they already had in place and Environmental took care of so it might not be an idea to dwell on. He looked over at the door as the new unfamiliar man came into the conference room. The reminiscator simply nodded as he agreed with his own previous comment before looking at Iridesca and the rest of the gathered department. The meeting will no longer continue. |
The conference room is just like the way it always has been. Only, while on her way to her office the new department head stopped by and cast a spell around the room. It is now filled with nice lavender scent, the clear walls enchanted to have windows that open to cast in good sunlight and air. |
It was time for the conference meeting to officially meet the new Head of the Department, so Jade headed towards the conference room a bit early seeing as she had to find it. Luckily, it had clear walls so she found it with very little trouble. She stepped into the room, breathing in the lovely relaxing scent of Lavender and taking a seat next a very tempting plate of muggle donuts. Feeling nervous, she picked one up and took a little nibble. |

Rachel casually walked into the room looking around. Not many people here yet - good, she could start on the food! She picked up a donut and spun it around on her finger as she looked around the room. Nice place. Cosy. And it smelled like lavender! She stood by the food as if she was guarding it, wondering if anyone wanted to come speak to her. |

Natasha strode determinedly into the room and stood near the front on the side furthest from the table bearing all sorts of strange food and drinks items she had never even seen before in her life. It must be muggle. What was the Ministry playing at serving this sort of rubbish to its employees? She eyed the people who had already begun to taste this appalling muck with a look of disdain mingled with distaste. |
All right. It's time for a brand new meeting...this time meaning real business. Ahh...muggle soda... Emerald took a bottle from the refreshment table and found an empty seat to sit in. She had to admitt that she was a bit nervous about meeting the new Department Head. She seemed very...crisp and strict at first impression, not a very cheerful woman, though seems very responsible. Emerald would very much want to get to know her better before she could judge anything. Emerald took off the cap on the muggle soda and looked over at the clock on the wall. It must be nearly time for them to start. |
Utau walked in the room, smiling, her brown hair had turned into long golden hair in twin pigtails at the top of her head "H-hello, Sakurada Utau, desu" she bowed and sat down "But I am called Utau or Utau-san" she pointed out. |
So, new Department Head? Interesting. Chris headed to the conference room to meet her and when he stepped into the room there were a few people already there. Ohh and look what was over there! Food. He grabbed a soda can and some chips because...because he simply loved food. He took a seat and waited for the new Deprtment Head to come. |
Alexandrea entered the Conference Room and took a seat back in the corner of the room. She looked around and noticed that a few people were already here. I wonder what she looks like... Will she be nice?... Mean?... Normal?... Nevertheless, Alex was ready to meet her. :) |

Mandie paused outside the door of the conference room and pulled her wand from her pocket and tapped it once againest the side of her head, making her shoulder length hair cascade down her back before coming to rest at her waist. After all, seven years of magical schooling at Hogwarts and a couple of years at a Wizarding University taught you how to do non-verbal spells. She pulled out a small hand-held mirror from her pocket and glanced inside at her red-lipped, blue-eyed and dark-haired reflection before walking in slipping her mirror and wand into her pocket as she went. She spotted the refreshments table and grapped a lemonade and walked over to the new department head, "Hello! I'm Mandie Elliott," She said giving a small smile and holding out her hand to this new woman, better make a good first impression after all. |

Nils had heard word that there was a new department head in town an that most,if not all employees should stop by the conference an meeting room to meet his new persay-boss.He wasn't quite sure how he would take this person,hopefully the new head would be more knowing around their employees. He was becoming very nervous as the minutes slowly ticked away.Spotting a food table in the corner Nils slowly scuttled over,looked around an made sure no one was watching him an scarfed down a donut,his cheeks the size of a small water balloon. |
Natalia Tarasova strolled into the conference room, smelling the sweet sense of lavender, she could already tell she would like this new department head. However, once she walked over to the refreshment table she noticed all the unhealthy food choices, but it was good to cheat at least once, right? In her mind she debated if a cookie or a muggle donut would be better. Well she hadn't had one of those muggle donuts in such a long time. She was about to go for one of the donuts but the sight of Nils eating one right next to her made her laugh. "Hello Nils, I don't mean to interuppt your eating, but wouldn't you think taking smaller bites would help the donut go down a bit easier?" She teased. Luckily there was some soda, it seemed, so he could probably take a drink of that to ease it down. "Anyways, it seems like our new department head surely knows what she's doing." She said, watching as more and more people piled into the conference room. |
Blake was walking crisply toward the conference room to meet her new boss. She thought it rather odd to have been hired without a working department head. But not that situation is being corrected and that was all that she asked for. Blake stepped into the conference room, and quickly found a seat to wait for this meeting to begin. |

Constance decided she liked her new office. It just needed to be re-done a little to her liking. Already her mind was set on things she wanted to fill it with. Satisfied with the place she would be spending a lot of time in, the thirty three year old left the office, making her way to the conference room. It wasn't a habit because she didn't need a habit like this but Constance did check her reflection on the glass window before entering the conference room. Constance didn't needed this habit because she knew she looked fine. Better than most even. Upon entering, Constance smiled brightly. Ready to put on a show and what not. These people were certainly not getting out of their dullness with her not flashing them a smile of encouragement. "Well. Hello there." she spoke up, yet again in anticipation to stop the little bit of chattering they had going on. "I believe some of you are still missing," Constance commented - remembering that she had been told she had quite a number of employees under her, certainly more employees than the ones standing and sitting in front of her. "No matter. No matter. We will get started anyhow. I don't want you guys to wait more, something which you all have been doing a lot lately." Constance paused, to see if she had everyone's attention. And it seemed she did so she continued: "I am Constance Nightingale and as you all know by now, I am your new Department Head. I am thrilled and really looking forward to work you guys. I plan on getting us more active, efficient ..." she paused, making an effort to find the face of the employee who had greeted her first. "and definitely less dull." Constance couldn't help but grin at the girl before moving on. "Right now, I would like you all to introduce yourself. I know there are many of you who are new. So introduce yourself to me and everyone around you. The old ones should introduce themselves because, well, the new ones need to know you. " Noticing only then that .. the room was filled with women. Taken aback, her eyes turned to the only guy in the room. "Well aren't you lucky," she commented, placing her hands on her hips. It was a shame. Constance would have liked to boss around more men under her. Hopefully her missing employees involve more men and not just this one. Him and .. "Gavin," she thought aloud - only remembering then that she had send him to do a job. "Gavin, yes. Hopefully he will be joining us soon and bringing in food, that I notice some of you are not touching." She said, flashing them another smile. "Well then, come on. Introduce yourself." |

Well Gavin had offered to help and Miss Nightingale had sure put him to work, the man having vanished outside the department while she got settled in her office and the rest filed into the conference room. It took him some time but he managed to put together a variety of items, making sure not to duplicate what the woman had already mentioned she had brought in. Coming back to Level 3 and the conference room, the reminiscator had two trays, each floating to make it easier to manuver through doors, especially the last remaining one allowing him access into said conference room. On one tray was three hot carafes filled with hot water, regular and decaf coffees and well as cups and everything you might need for the perfect cup. On the other was an assortment of rolls and bagels, fruits and veggie pieces. Gavin had tried his best to get a variety of items even the chosest person could want and slipped into the room as descretly as he could while introductions were being made, finally depositing both on the center of the conference table for all to reach. |
Grinning at whom? Emmy? :3 The new department head must seem to change her mood rather quickly, since she now seemed more ethusiastic. Emerald also couldn't help noticing a small grin coming from Constance's, which seemed rather unusual to Emmy who had only seen her face when she stepped into what she called the 'dull' office. Emmy couldn't tell who the smile is to...but she kind of have a feeling that it's for her... "I am Emerald Skye, but feel free to just call me Emmy." She introduced herself as she turned to everyone sitting in the conference room. "I have worked in this Department for some times in the Obliviator's Division as an Obliviator. I've been a worker for the Ministry of Magic for a while now. Before I was transfered to this Division, I worked for the Department of Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures." Emerald finished with a smile. She was glad she was transfered here, now that she had discovered the uniqueness of this level. And, Emerald have no longer worry about spiders that crawls on to the animals. |
