Ella asked Rafael, gesturing towards the chair next to him.

Emily wasn't really one for meeting or greeting ... but she has a huge fan of food. So as per usual, she plopped herself down in a seat which she determined to be far away from people so she could still enjoy her food, yet not so far away that she would be left out or excluded from conversation... should she decide she'd want to be a part of.

Now. Where to start?

Her anger flared..right...and she just glared at her boss, crossing her arms over her chest. "MAYBE if you hadn't pushed off my appointment I had WANTED to make with you BEFORE the holidays...you would have kNOWN sooner!" she said, her voice gruff. Her usual fear of Wes...was gone...because she was just fuming. She didn't need a fight with her boss. No. She didn't...but...

AACCKKKK! HE WAS DRIVING HER CRAZY!

She averted her angry green eyes to Melissa..."Melissa? Yeah, lovely to meet you. And yes...under horrible circumstances, I KNOW..." she grumbled, still keeping her glare on her face and fluttering her eyes at Wes. Maybe she wasn't mad at HIM exactly..maybe she was mad at just the world..and Wes was making it VERY easy for her to take it out on him...

ONce again, Kensi's common sense wasn't kicking in. Not at ALL.

"Names," Wes echoed, looking to Dacs and Roxanne. "Do you think you could find that out? They might be here at the orientation right now, so keep your eyes open... if not, you'll have to go to Human Resources to get the files on these guys."

He had no idea how long ago this mess had started either, but did not when Aron gestured toward the Games & Sports man. "Go right ahead," he answered softly. "Oh, and while you're at it...."

Wes gestured toward the sound of retching he'd just heard in front of him. "Looks like you've got a fellow drool-collector there." Probably someone from Thea's office, trying to upstage Wes' MLE team. "See what that guy is doing." He probably wasn't as well trained as the Level Two people. *huff*

Dacs snapped her notebook shut and looked directly at Wes and said,"One Kyle Tanners from the Minister's Office and Demetrius Clay from Level 9. It took a little time but I wanted to be sure."

The woman was thorough and did her best to always be on point. It was apart of her work ethics to be able to report to her boss.

"Ok. But keep it quiet and don't raise an alarm until we are sure of what it going on. Don't want to start a phantom epidemic even there really is one." she said, nodding.

Pocketing all of his vials and tools back in his bag and then looked back at Roxanne. "In the food court?" he asked, arching an eyebrow. He hadn't been there himself - he preferred to eat outside the Ministry when given the chance. And then Dacs mentioned the food court as well. "How long ago was all this?" Too long and he wouldn't be able to collect samples from there. "Was it after the cafeteria opened?"

And now Aron was even more glad that he didn't eat at the Ministry.

The fact that Wes hadn't been told about this was sort of...alarming. Especially with so many people in their department now coming forward and mentioning it. If it had all started with the opening of the cafeteria...that had been, what, half a year ago? Plenty of time for people to report things...

"I'm going to need the names of the other droolers..."

Maybe he needed to get out of the lab more often when he was at work.

Aron's gaze followed Melissa's finger over towards the Games and Sports seating area and then glanced back at Wes. "Should I..." he trailed off as he waved an unused cotton swab in the man's direction.

Dacs looked at the man who was clueless and needed to get a clue."I'm sure you will handing those over to MLES for evidence after they've been tested in the lab. Just make sure to label them properly." she said, in an easy tone.

This seemed like a bit of chaos as people were asking questions and throwing out facts. Something Dacs was not going to allow to continue if this would become an investigation.

"You'll have your answers soon enough. So far you've seen the general symptoms. Right now, we are all going to have to be weary of what we eat and who we stand next to. Things look like they are going to get even nastier as time goes by."

Dacs turned a cold hazel eyed stare at Kensi,"Hey! You better watch that tone or else I will make sure you don't see the streets for a month. And don't think for one second I won't do. You'll buried so deep in paperwork, you'll be pushing up daises." she said, in a sharp tone. She was afterall in her division meant she was one of hers.

"Take a second, a pull yourself together for merlin's sake." she said more calmly."Or I'll have you quarantined right now."

Alexander stood from his seat and flicked his wand out his holster. "Sonorus!" he exclaimed, and then he raised his wand to his mouth. "Ladies and Gentlemen of the Ministry, if I may have your attention, please." He waited a few moments for the chatter to settle down before speaking again.

"First off, it is my hope that each and every one of you had a very happy holiday with your friends and loved ones. For those recently hired, allow me to join the department heads and returning employees in welcoming you to your new positions. For our returning employees, I'm glad to see you back," he said. He took a glance around the room, taking in a few familiar faces and some new ones, as well.

"Returning on staff, we have Senior Undersecreteary, Ian Amoroso, and Department Heads Wesley Ferguson, Althea Schirmer, Constance Wellington, Gavin Higareda, Armen Recard, and Isobel Ferguson," he said. "There are two new department heads on the team, as well, which I'm very honored to introduce to you. Department Head Lourdes Black will be taking over Games and Sports, while Department Head Abilene Schirmer will be heading up our new Specialty Area."

"As always, we have every bit of faith and confidence that we have hired only the best of the best, and that our team will lead the magical community of Great Britain to success," he added. "Thank you all for coming out today, and we look forward to beginning our first work day back from the holiday tomorrow morning." He ended the spell which magnified his voice and then returned to his seat.

Melissa was still worried about Kensi. Even though she sounded friendly enough, she still had a glare on her face. She now wished that she hadn't mentioned the part about meeting under horrible circumstances. What she wanted to do now was go help Aron find Alex and hopefully cure him too.

Melissa sat down at the nearest table when the Minister stood up and gave his speech. She made a mental note of who the Department Heads were. 'Yes Melissa it is time you knew who they were. Recognize their faces, so that you don't end up making a mistake and address them by their first names. Definitely a good thing to do.' she though to herself.

Then she noticed the woman sitting next to her. She smiled when she saw the pile of food that the lady had on her plate. 'She must be as hungry as I am.' Melissa thought to herself placing her own pile high plate of food on the table.

"Is it okay if I join you?" Melissa asked the woman before sitting down.

Emily politely -- as possible, sat through the BIG boss man's speech. Gosh she loathed speeches, but they were a formal necessity. Blah blah blah... important names she knew/learned and would never forget. Great thing about having an epic memory.

As she was about to dig in to her spoils... she was interrupted. Oh, how she disliked interuptions, especially during food. But seeing as it was one of her own, meaning department-wise, she figured she ought to play nice.

She did manage a nod in the woman's direction though.

"Em--mily," she mumbled, accidentally spitting bits of food on the table between them. Whoops. After swallowing, she did something stupid. Or rather, SAID something stupid. "Do you always talk this much?" she asked, forgetting social etiquette. It was weird enough that people talked so much, it was weirder and WORSE when they rambled on about meaningless things just for the sake of chit chat. A concept she clearly didn't understand the purpose of.

Nodding at Leo, she smiled a little before turning towards Manolo. She was just about to reply when the boss - in other words, the Minister of Magic - started talking. Suppressing a groan, she listened as politely and intently as she could without looking too interested.

Because Maine was anything but interested. There were so many things she could be doing now. She could be working on seating arrangements and they would have to pick the venue soon for the wedding. Fun as it was, it got stressful after a while, and really all Maine wanted to do was scream.

Once the lecture was over, she turned back towards Manolo. "I like my job a lot," she shrugged. "The thing about this place is that they try to give you a job that suits you, so it's unlikely that you'd hate it." And being a Task Force agent meant that she was constantly moving, and it wasn't really a desk job, but not everyone was so lucky.

Jade listened intently to the Minister's speech. Well she definitely thought that it was nice of him to give one and to welcome everyone back to work.

She definitely was looking forward to getting back to work tomorrow although somehow she had gotten elected to show the newbies in the department around the MoM. She really didn't mind much. Hopefully, she would be done with her tour before her department head Althea Schirmer handed her even more paper work to do on the first day. Most chances it would be fine but still...

She tuned back into the Minister's speech as he came to an end. She glanced at her watch for the time. Soon it would be time to get a move on and head home. She needed to be fresh for tomorrow.

Melissa blinked when the lady, Emily, well at least that's what she said her name was, asked her whether she always talked this much. She wanted to tell her that she only did that when her sugar level was low or when she got nervous, which was what she was now feeling more worse of, after the lady said what she did.

So instead of replying at length, she just simply shook her head and said,"No" before slowly putting food into her mouth.

This was already starting to look like a disastrous first meeting but Melissa was not going to let that stop her from making friends with other people.

"So did you come here just to eat?" Melissa looked at Emily.
