Written Test Examiners:

The room for the written Apparation Exams is just through a door close to the lifts and looks like a classroom inside. Please approach Ms. Amilee Rizzo (Bumblebee), the secretary at the desk outside the door and state your name and your appointment time and she will give you a name tag and take your testing fee of 5 sickles, then send you in for the test.

Once you enter the room please find a seat and wait quietly for your Examiner to give you the test booklet. If you speak once you have your test it will result in your automatic failure and you will be asked to leave. If you are caught cheating off another examinee's test the same will be happen. When you finish your test please allow the witch/wizard giving the exams to come and pick it up before leaving. If you take the exam with you it is a crime, Ministry security will be called and fines will be enforced.

You will be notified via owl whether or not you passed the exam. If you pass you will be given an appointment to come back in and take your practical exam. If you fail your written exam you may come back in a week to try again.

Walking had seemed to calm Kurumi's nerves a little as she made her way to the testing center. Walking...it was a form of transportation. Sort of. Just like Apparition was a form of it. So, really, she shouldn't be so freaked out. Just like with walking and taking one step in front of the other, the thought process was the same. Right? Erm...not really. Okay. She just needed to stop thinking about all this and take her written test. That was just regurgitating facts anyway. This was the easy part so there was nothing to worry about - despite what her father had said.

"Um, excuse me," Kurumi said as she approached the desk. "I'm Kurumi Hollingberry and I am scheduled to take my Apparition written exam now."

Jade walked into the room where Stephan had directed her. She could see that Miss Hollingberry was there already.

Jade approached the desk, "Hello, I'm Jade Gemstone and I am here to take the written apparition text."

Kurumi nearly jumped out of her own skin when she heard another voice coming from behind her, but at least managed to muffle the surprised squeak that was threatening to come out. "H-Hello," she said nervously. Merlin Kurumi Hollingberry. You are 18 now and really should NOT be this awkward or nervous. "I am," Kurumi nodded. "Kurumi Hollingberry. I have an appointment." In case that changed things or anything. Brownie points perhaps?

Goodness this girl was jumpy. Gabi didn't like jumpy. The news that she had an appointment came as a slight shock to Gabi--perhaps that memo had never been given to her with the transfer of department heads--but that didn't matter. She was here now and she was ready for her test, so Gabi jumped right ahead to the exam. She waved her wand and once of the pamphlets flew in to her hand. She smiled and placed it on the desk in front of her.

"You may have a seat and begin the written portion of your exam. Take your time," she added with a smile, reminding herself that she was a Department Head now and had to be sweet and kind all the time. How exhausting. "Once you're finished, one of my employees will escort you to the practical exam, and then you'll just need to wait for your results!"

Kurumi watched as the test papers were summoned and placed on the desk in front of her. Merlin, this reminded her so much of taking her NEWT practicals only a few months ago. Treyen had said that NEWTs were far worse than this exam, but it was hard to think that way when the test was looking you right in the face. "Thank you," she relied with a small bow before she took her seat and stared at the front page for several moments.

Breathing a long sigh of relief, Kurumi handed in her exam and then returned to her seat and waited.

Taken back by the fact that it was Gabriela Schultz, now the head of the department who was in charge. No matter, Jade smiled

"Hello, Gabriela. How are you doing?" She said as she took a test and sat down.

She really didn't have much time to do this test. She was needed back at A&C ASAP. Jade knew that she would have all the time in the world to chat to Gabi after the tests were over.

Nodding, Kurumi picked up her bag and began to make her way out of the room. Practical...eek...THIS was the part that she had been terrified about. It was hard to practice this on your own without a proper instructor - no offense father. She really wished that she had been able to take lessons at Hogwarts. This all would have been SO much easier and less stressful.

"Thank you," she said while offering the woman a polite bow as she passed her. Right, practical exam area was...where again?

Jade smiled at Gabi, "I know! I had no idea that you got the job of being head of Transportation. Well Done! How have you been? It must be a little bit peaceful than A&C huh?"

She glanced down at the test parchment in her hand, "Do I hand it back to you right? Boy, I feel like an idiot that I didn't just get a British Apparition license when I first got here instead of renewing my South African one."

Presley would by lying if she said she wasn't a little bit anxious as she walked into the testing center. If she didn't pass this, she would be a laughingstock. Already the youngest in her year she was the last one without an apparition license. She sat down and began the written exam.

Vickers got the memo, and with an armful of scrolls and other paperwork he poked his head through the door. He spotted an applicant taking the exam. Ok good so that thing she's scribbling on will be something he's gonna be processing later. Might as well pick it up as soon as she's done. After their boss goes through the lesson of course.
