As you enter the room designated for the Practical exams please have some sort of identification or your wand with you ready for clearance for the test. Please approach the License Issuers desk and wait for them to send you to the Examiner for your exam. Our test-workers are experts in Splintch reversal and St. Mungo's is just a pop away. No need to worry, just relax and stay calm, you will surely pass.

If you pass (Your examiner will let you know at the end) then you will be given a paper signed by them and you will take it to the witch/wizard at the desk when you leave and they will issue you a licence and have you fill out the necessary paper-work.

OCC: Please be sure to NOT just post already meeting your Tester. Either Mr. Andrew Rose (PhoenixRising) or Miss Andie Jordan (Alex_Potter) working at the front desk, will assist you and show you were to go. Do NOT rp as the front desk worker or the TESTERS, your posts will be deleted.

If you are taking your Apparation License Test for the first time then be sure to have taken the Written Exam here before you take this one.

Testers OFF the Floor:
Ms. Katrina Rayne (iBeJenn)
Mr. Sancho Vasquez (Mordaynes)

Alex_Potter 10-11-2011 04:14 PM

Andie entered the room and noticed the table that she had to sit at. After putting her bag down and settling in she waited for someone to come along.

Charmayne LeBlanc was exhausted, but walked into the testing center anyway. The divorce finally over, she could finally breathe.

She spotted the table where she was supposed to sit at and sunk down into the chair. After she set her bag down and blinked the sleep from her eyes, she pulled out the name tags, a quill and her coffee flask.

Leaning back into her seat, she and her coffee flask waited for the exam candidates to arrive.

Armen had arrived at the Ministy earlier than usual today, left his coat and hat in his office and made his way to the Practical exmaination room after getting a large cup of coffee from the breakroom. He hadn't tested someone for their Apparation license in a while, but he was certainly excited to do it again, especially with the MLE department.

Entering the section of the office where the secretaries and license issuers worked, Recard was happy to see that they were there already. "Ah, good morning Mayne and Andie, today's the big day! You ready?" He said with a bright grin tapping on the raised counter at thr front of their desk.

Now he just was waiting for Katherine, Katrina, Sancho, and their special guest.

iBeJenn 10-15-2011 03:12 PM

Katrina walked into the Practical Examination room. She had never really been in here, seeing as she was in charge of giving the written portion of the examination but she was excited. It was a new experience and though the MLE people still probably could hex her, she rather liked teaching. She entered with a cup of coffee, though she intended on finishing it before the exams.

"Good morning all, Charmayne, Andie, Mister Recard," Katrina said. She was in a pleasant mood and glanced around the place. She had a feeling it was going to be a good day, yup. Unless someone got either splinched or hexed; then maybe not so much.

RachieRu 10-15-2011 03:24 PM

Finally. Isobel was one silly test away from getting her license back. Finally. It had been forever, and she had not forgotten that Armen had said it wouldn't take long for them to get their licenses back. That just put fuel to the fire really. This had better not take long. She had a office full of aurors to look after now, and could not be spending all day down in the magical transportation department. Part of her was hoping that Armen was not going to be present, but she knew he would be. Of course he would be, he'd want to see if any of them failed. Stupid idiot. She would've hexed him if that stupid letter had told her not too. And anyway she was head auror now...well acting head auror, she had to act professional. As long as he didn't say anything, she would remain calm.

Oh. And he was there. Typical. Isobel folded her arms, also noting that there were also no other members of her department here. Fun. Well this was going to be interesting. She was so looking forward to this. Clearly.

Colley 10-15-2011 03:35 PM

It seemed as if Lilyan Moretti had only just left the Ministry of Magic. It had only been a few days since her last visit. Hehe. And she'd been crafty too. She hadn't told Van that she would be here today.

Wouldn't he be surprised?!

Hehe.

As she entered the room, her eyes landed on the Department Head, the man who had asked for her to be the Healer oversee these exams. She politely acknowledged the others, though she knew not who any of them were, except for Isobel, of course. It wasn't like they were super best friends, but the woman got a smile and a wave, even if she didn't look very happy to be there.

None of them WOULD be, Lily was not fooled about THAT. Van had made that quite clear.

"Good Morning, Mr. Recard." The Italian woman stopped at the man and offered her hand. Manners. She had them. Even when it came to people that her fiance hated.

PhoenixRising 10-15-2011 03:48 PM

Even without coffee, Katherine had entered the ministry quite enthused that morning. It was the apparition testing that day, which got her excited, of course. Even if it was those from level two who were being re-tested. And even if none of them looked terribly happy to be there.

And was it just her or had Isobel given Armen a look of disgust? Weren't the two dating? Or had something happened?

No matter though, it was testing day! And testing days were good days! She got to watch others apparate and didn't have much paperwork to do until the FOLLOWING day and generally got to leave early on testing days. "Good morning!" Kat said politely, with a nod, to Katrina, her boss, and the others nearby.

Armen was all smiles this morning, even though it would be the end of this particular hold he had on the MLE department, he would still get to put them through the last torturous test--maybe he would fail someone.

Then Izzy walked in. His smile faded as he looked at her figure entering the testing center. He hadn't really even seen her since he had dumped her, let alone speak with her. He had messed with Emily sense then aswell, which certainly had gone well in his book; despite the hexing. And now Damien was gone...good riddiance. But that made her acting Head Auror.

"Good day, Miss. Montague." He nodded curtly, impersonal. "Do we think we can pass the exam this morning Head Auror?" he asked reading through her file and looking at her Written exam results. She had passed, answering each question correctly.

"Good morning Katherine, your first test taker shall be here soon, his scheduled time in in five minutes." Armen nodded to Miss Spades. He was excited to get things started, and knew that Katherine was more than qualified to begin testing employees.

It was weird, the sense of relief that fell upon Isobel when she saw Lily walk in. They weren't exactly that good friends, it was obvious why, but it was nice to have someone here, that didn't make things that awkward. And Lily was nice, so it was good to have her here, at least she knew if she spinched, which she was pretty sure she wouldn't, that she would be in capable hands. The blonde smiled at Lily, offering her a small wave in return. "Morning Lily." Maybe the woman would be up in their department later. That would be nice. Truthfully...Izzy probably would like to get to know her more. She didn't exactly have that many friends outside of work.

Isobel looked from Lily to Armen as he began speaking. He didn't look very happy, but Isobel was kind of glad. He should feel that way for dumping her like that. She would definetly have reminded him of that, if she hadn't been that cut up by it. Luckily she was starting to get over it now. She was not going to let Armen Recard keep her upset now way. She'd taken ages getting over Evander, and he was at least some sort of decent man. It was going to be different with Armen.

What on earth was with Miss Montague? Had his brain suddenly forgotten her name now. Lovely. "Good Morning Mr. Recard." She said just as he had, no emotions behind her voice. There was no way that she was letting him see how hurt she actually way. "Of course I am going to pass." What did he think she was? 5 or something. And he better hurry up and get her tested. She needed to actually get to work.

Armen could see that Izzy was trying to show him that she was ok, but deep down, he knew she wasn't completely alright. Who would be after a year long relationship breaking off how badly it had. He felt a tad guilty about what he had done at first but now she just seemed spitefull taking away any of that guilt. She was fully one of them now.

"Well we will just see then won't we." he said glancing faintly at her. "Now, you passed your written exam without missing a question but sometimes booksmarts is much different than actually doing the thing. Firstly I would like you to Apparate into this hoop right over there." he said pointing at the wooden hoop about 2 feet away on the floor.

Isobel had kind of wished she had brought a coffee down now. That way she could've had something to do with her hands. Because she was actually feeling a little nervous. She knew that it would be very easy for Armen to just fail her. And that would not be cool at all. It would not look good if she failed her test, and she would be pretty annoyed at Armen. Even more annoyed than she was right now. Hopefully Armen would get the test over and done with. She had a feelign that he probably wanted to see her even less than hse wanted to see him. That was absolutly fine by her.

"That we will." She could very easily apparate. Armen had seen her do it plenty of times. And she wasn't going to let what he was saying put her off. "I've been apparating for 16 years. I think I can do it." She murmered quietly, staring right at him. She didn't even think she could do it. She knew she could. "Okay." And she could do that. Of course she could. Giving him one last look, she turned her attention to the hoop, concentrating, befure turning on the spot. Disappearing from her spot near Armen, and reappearing right in the middle of the hoop. See. She could do it.

Armen could tell she seemed nervous, whether or not it was because of the test or being back in his presence he couldn't tell. Being in a room full of Magical Transportation people didn't help either, he was sure.

With his arms crossed and holding the clipboard, Recard leaned against a desk as he waited for Izzy to Apparate. She disappeared and then popped into the middle of the hoop. "Not bad." he made a quick check on her testing sheet.

"Now I will need you to Apparate into this second hoop." he pointed his wand across the room about 12 feet away.

Isobel did think that she could do it perfect. Of course she could. She'd been doing it for ages. Hopefully she wouldn't mess up, because that would be so embarrassing. But she didn't think she was. Isobel would not have passed her test in the first place if she hadn't. Hmm. She folded her arms, watching what he was going to say. Not expecting that were you Armen? Not bad. Not bad? Isobel just eyed him, not saying anything. Don't say anything, and she'd be fine.

"Okay." Because she could do that. It would work. If she could apparate 2 feet, she knew she'd be able to 12 feet. She wasn't an idiot, even if she was blonde. Concentrating again, she eyed the loop, before turning around on spot, and disappearing. She reappeared in the loop, not so dead on centre as she had been last time, more near the edge. But still in the hoop none the less.

Smirking slightly, Armen made a check by the second task box on her grading sheet. She did Apparate correctly, even though it wasn't perfect, into the hoop. So there was no way he could say she was wrong. "Alright now for a trickier task, I need you to Apparate somewhere other than on this level in the Ministry and then return into the first hoop. Got it?" he stood up straighter waiting to see if she could do this last task.

OCC: Just rp disapparating and apparating back in here and post one post somewhere else. ;)

Hmm. That could've been a bit better. But she still did it. Isobel smiled at Armen. Mark me down on that Recard, just go and do it. There was no way that she wanted to fail this. "Okay...." She still knew she'd be able to do it. Because she was a perfectionist, so she would not allow herself to get it wrong. With one last, kind of grin, that totally said I got this haha, she turned on the spot and disappeared. Yes. In her opinion this was going very well.

PadfootAndTheWolf 10-15-2011 07:12 PM

Armen stood there after Izzy had disapparated. Taking a sip of his coffee he looked around the room; at Katherin and Katrina waiting on their testers, at Lily would waited for someone to be splinched too bad Damien was no longer around, and then at Andie and Mayne who would be handing out licenses soon.

Even though he didn't care for Izzy in that way now and she had betrayed his trust he really didn't want her to get stuck in a wall or floor or get splinched on her way back here.

RachieRu 10-15-2011 07:20 PM

Hmm. Ring One. Ring One. Isobel appeared back in that hoop, a bit off centre, and not so perfect as she would've liked. But still, it was in the hoop, not outside of the hoop, clearly showing that she could do it. Isobel smiled, as she realised that she had managed to do it. Perfect. You haven't lost your touch Isobel. She was pretty sure that there was no way that Armen could fail her now. She hadn't done anything wrong, apart from not being dead centre in the hoops. She was sure that was fine, because in real life she would not be apparating in the hoop. Turning around she smiled at Armen. "Anything else?" She'd done well. She knew she had. Isobel had landed in the hoops, and not splinched. Well done on her behalf she thought.

Armen looked up as his ex had Apparated back into the room. Siiigh. She had landed in the hoop. Making a check on the clipboard the Department Head decieded he really could not fail her on anything and with her being fully intact will all of her limbs present, it made it especially hard for him to do that.

"No that will be all for today." He said signing the sheet of paper and handing it to her. "You will allow Healer Morietti to do a double check on your for health and insurance reasons and then you will present this paper at the front desk to Andie and Mayne and they will give you some paperwork to fill out and then your license." He left out the part where she was supposed to have a good day and stuff.

Just as she had thought. Isobel smiled, stepping out of the circle, and listening to him. Woot. She had passed. Perfect. She could apparate again. This was good. She took the paper from him. Thank you Recard. Took your time. "Well...thank you Mr. Recard." See. At least one of them could be polite. Sure he had really hurt her, but she was not about to look bad infront of him, and all of his employees. "Perfect." Because she was very glad to be having her license back.

She turned, to go over to Lily, but turned back, and said one more thing to Armen. "Have a good day...I'll tell my aurors to behave." She smirked at him, before wandering back over to Lily.

Lily was blonde, but she was not a dumb blonde. She knew that her presence here was a simple formality, and nothing more. There was no real danger that any of these people would splinch themselves. They would all die before they splinched themselves because of him. That knowledge wasn't even so much something she'd gotten from Van specifically, but through the nature of the whole thing.

She would have felt the very same way.

"Of course." She smiled her best smile anyway, well pleased that she was able to do her part, even if it was unnecessary. "Though I'm sure we will hardly find anyone needing healed." She shifted the small bag that carried a few necessary potions, should she need them, in her left hand (which also sported something incredibly sparkly, yes, make sure to look at it and be in awe of it) "Have you ever been splinched, Mr. Recard?" She shook her head, "Not a pretty sight." Trust, she'd seen a lot of those in her time.

She took a step back so as to be out of the way while the exam was administered.

She clapped a little, not what could be heard, but more that could be seen. "Head Auror?" She asked, when the woman came up to her. She'd known that Damien had taken a leave of absence, being close friends with Gemini, and the man himself, but she hadn't yet heard who would be acting in his absence.

"Congratulations." She added, before proceeding with her little check up. The obvious thing was out. No splinches! YAY!

She checked over a few more things, and then patted the woman's shoulder, "There you are, dear, you're just fine."

Chelsea had passed. Yes PASSED the written exam. Of course being new she didn't know anyone from the Transportation department yet. She basically knew her own department and that was about it.

Walking into the room her feet barely making a sound as she had decided to be sensible and wear sensible shoes to this test. Gulp. She didn't want to learn just how rueful the Transportation people could be. She'd heard whispers of someone named Ar-something...whatever and whoever this Arguy was she wanted nothing to do with Arms? Army - whoever this Arm-man was she didn't care. Wait. That was it. Armen.

And she was now standing in the doorway to the room looking at this pretty-boy-faced old creeper. Oh. That was him. Armen Recard...Arm was so much better...because really then she could just confuse him by calling him Arm-man...hah.

Stepping a little bit more quickly she walked further into the room and stopped watching as Isobel was examined. Yay! Izzy had passed. She was already excstatic for the MLE since well they were most definitely the BEST!

"Hello" she pipped up in a chipper-as-can-be tone, what who cared if a twenty one year old sounded like she was excited. Well she was. She wanted to get REevaluated and prove to these floosies that she could do it. Go from hoop-to-hoop and all in ONE piece. Mhm. Because she was just that amazing. And maybe just that sycophantic...but that was another story. And today it was time to talk to Armen Recard. "Hello, I'm Chelsea Payne I'm here to report to...um Armin...i think thats how you say it -Recard" she smiled. Not knowing she'd butchered a name. Well she'd never met Mr. High-and-Mighty Transportation Department Head so she wouldn't have known.

Pfft! Armen was not fooled by Izzy's cheeriness, he knew she was still heart-broken by his break up with her. Who wouldn't be, he was quite the catch; money, good looks, and power. But nonetheless he had no other choice but to pass her. She had done well, even though he would never admit it.

Tell her Aurors to be good? As if they wouldn't. They were entering into his turf and he would not tolerate them otherwise. He didn't need her to tell them to behave. "You do that Miss Montague; Andie or Mayne will be with you shortly."

Lily seemed to be a bit skeptical that any of the MLE employees would actually splinch but despite Armen's hopes that someone might, nothing serious of course, she was probably right. But they needed her there just in case.

Had he ever splinched? What sort of question was that? He was the head of Apparition, and had worked the majority of his time here on level six in the Apparition Divsion. "No ma'am I actually haven't, but much like I assume you have experience, I have seen many people splinched before." he nodded, blinking slowly. There had been some very nasty cases, that was for sure.

After he had finally passed Izzy, Armen looked up to see Lily clapping quietly and then chatting happily with his ex when she was finished. Armen rolled his eyes slightly and then took a drink of his coffee. Bloody brilliant, the one other Cultist he had brought in is fratinizing with the enemy.

Ok one down and....a lot to go. Armen had finished taking a swig of his coffee and had flicked his wand to get rid off the hoops he had used with Izzy. Suddenly another person entered the room, a newer employee to MLE and he thought he knew which one it was.

"Are you Miss Payne?" He asked her as she asked for him. "I am Armen Recard, the Dept. Head of Magical Transportation. Welcome to the Apparition Testing Center and Katrina," he gestured to her (IBeJenn) "is your examiner. She will show you what to do." he said a looking at her, trying to decide mentally if he thought she would pass or not. She was new so maybe the oafs in MLE hadn't taught her too many bad habits.

Upon hearing her name, she quickly finished up her cup of coffee and tossed tossed it into the rubbish bin nearby. Ah, right, examiner, that was her. MLE here she came.

Katrina looked at the woman who had walked in waiting to be tested... by Katrina. "Hello Miss Payne, I'm Katrina and I'm going to be your examiner today," she said coolly with a smile on her face. She stretched out a hand for the woman to shake, should she want to. But if she bit people... well, Katrina was not going to stick her hands out for anyone afterwards.

Then after the pleasantries, they'd move onto the testing. Merlin, she sure hoped that she would get this whole testing procedure right.

itsjustjesse 10-16-2011 01:19 AM

Chelsea nodded, giving Armen a quick nice smile - despite how much it wasn't really a true, genuine smile it was atleast a nice effect. She was a nice person after all and she didn't know much about him. So playing it nice was good. Especially when the MLE was in so much hot water as it already was. "Yes, I am Miss Chelsea Payne" she smiled. It was actually quite nice to be refered to as Miss Payne. Sounded all 'official'.

And she was in no way official. Just a Pensive Examiner who really wanted to be able to leave this stupid room. "Thank you for letting me know - and its a pleasure meeting you Department Head Recard" yeah yeah it sounded all official...because it was. She was being all nicey-nice with the so-called Enemy. Why? Because maybe they could get somewhere better. Or not. She had no idea yet.

Looking over to where she had been directed she coudln't help but smile, and wince. She had no idea what would happen today. Only that hey, she hadn't ever been bad at apparating. She'd only been doing it for say four years of her expansive twenty one. She was a little excited, nervous, and oddly calm all at once.

Saying a quick goodbye to Armen - well a nod really, she walked over to Katrina and smiled. She smiled when Katrina introduced herself - she seemed nice. "Its a pleasure to meet you Katrina" she smield. nervously at that. And taking the other woman's hand she promptly shook it - and quite strongly at that. Maybe too strongly. She didn't want to break her examiner's hand before the exam started. Wouldn't be a good start at ALL.

Katrina smiled warmly at the woman, trying to make sure she didn't freak out or anything of the sort. "I'm sure you'll do fine, so let's start of easy," Katrina said as she waved her wand, creating a few wooden hoops. "So first, I want you to Apparate into this hoop about two feet away from us now, like so," Katrina said. She turned on the spot and popped out in the center of the wooden ring. She stepped out of it and gestured at it, to let the woman know that she could take a chance at it.

Hopefully... no splinching would be involved. However, there was a healer who had graced them all with her presence, so it would be handled. Still, no splinching would be lovely.

Aparating into a ring about two feet away? Easy as cake right? Watching Katrina do it made it look as easy as taking a bite out of a cake...not making it - easier than that.

Alright. Taking a quick breath - relaxing, she focused on the hoop. And closing her eyes invisioning it she felt the familair feeling of her feet hitting ground. Opening her eyes, she looked around.

She was in the hoop. And looking down, no blood...hand to her hair, no missing hair, no missing ears, no missing anything. No splinching what so ever.

Smiling she felt like saying now that wasn't hard at all.

Katrina smiled as the woman reached her destination. "So you made it here in one piece, now please Apparate over to the hoop over thre, about twelve feet away from your current location," she said, nodding before walking over to the hoop. She found it unnecessary to have to Apparate there again just to demonstrate. She was fairly certain the woman knew what to do already.

So she stood there, a little bit away from the hoop and smiled at Miss Payne to let her know that it was all clear for the woman to Apparate. Really, administering this test was a piece of cake, she just hoped that Apparating was just as easy for those either retaking the exam or taking it for the first time.

Chelsea looked the distance and sighed. That wasn't going to be hard. What was tweleve compared to two feet - it was do able. Very doable.

"Alright" she nodded, and looked at the next location needless to say she was determined to get there. Focusing on her destination she heard the familair pop and found herself twelve feet away standing just-off-center in the hoop.

Nearly perfect. And no splinching. She was happy about the no-splinch bit. Very happy.

Katrina smiled, applauding the woman briefly for completing the task. "Wonderful," she said, beaming before she glanced at the door way for a second. Turning back, she looked back at Miss Payne. "Alright, the last task is to Apparate to a different place in the Ministry, but it cannot be on Level Six, then Apparate right back here," Katrina said. Hopefully she could do that, right? It wasn't too hard a task, really... unless you couldn't concentrate which would prove to be quite a problem.

OOC; Please just post here Disapparating, then post somewhere in the Ministry where you character apparated to, and lastly repost here. C:

Chelsea nodded as Katrina told her to disapperate. That would be fun - you know maybe she'd just aparate to her favorite place?

Thinking hard she decided where to go. "Alright - not level six, I understand." She smiled. And concentrating - with a loud pop she disappeared from the room. There she'd successfully disapperated from the testing room.

iBeJenn 10-16-2011 03:26 AM

Katrina watched as the woman Disapparated and sighed. Katrina started humming quietly waiting for Miss Payne to come back in one piece... Or have parts missing. Preferably not the latter, though.

Chelsea was so excited that she had made it in one piece yet again. She'd made it to the MLE in one piece - after her little walk into the lobby and spazdance. She'd made it back here in one piece with a HUGE pop to annouce her arrival. Like someone had made a 10000 foot bubble of bubblegum or a baloon and just let it explode in the room.

"Reporting in" she added with a happy smile, her hair all windtunnel and her cheeks happy, and smiling. Looking down she noticed there was nothing missing, all her toes, all her fingers, and legs, torso, neck, head, everything where it was supposed to be.

Maine smiled and pulled out a stack of forms from below her desk. Waving Miss Montague over, she pulled a form from the stack and a pen from her bag.

"Hi there!" Maine greeted cheerily. "Now, if you'll just fill in this form over here-" gesture to the form, "I'll issue you your shiny new license!"

Maine didn't want to see anyone feeling grouchy today, so she'd better just stay cheery!

Isobel smiled at Lily as she noticed the woman clapping. Well at least someone other than herself that thought she had done well. She knew that Armen woudldn't have said anything though. He was just being an idiot. "Thanks..." She was quite proud to be acting head auror now. It was a good position, and she was going to make sure that the YATI's came out well, although she had no doubt that Emily, and Sabel were going to make great aurors.

Ahh. She was fine. Perfect. Well Izzy was glad that she had not got splinched, they would not improve her day really. But she was fine so that was great. "Awesome..." Because that totally meant that she was epic at apparating. "Hope you have an enjoyable day then Lily..." You know...waiting for people to splinch there selves. Smiling once more that the woman, she wandered over to one of the ladies, hoping they wouldn't take too long in giving her an license.

"Good Morning." Isobel smiled at the woman. She was going to be nice, and pleasent, to show Armen that it was just his annoying department that had bad manners. "Perfect." Maine smiled as she took the form back from the woman. Noticing her discomfort with the pen, Maine nearly laughed.

"You prefer quills?" she asked, tone light as she pulled out the licence card thingy. "I use pens because I'm too lazy to re-ink my quills..."

Waving her wand over it once, she checked the information and held it to the light.

Finally, after waiting for so long, she could take the stupid and completely unecessary apparitition practical. Emily had been waiting for this day for what seemed like forever, it was a relief to finally get this over and done with.

It had been a while since she had seen Armen Recard, the muppet of the Ministry, she only hoped she could have avoided him just a little bit longer. Hhhmm was hit butt still sore? Emily hoped so.

Crossing her fingers, hands in pocket, Emily arrived at the testing centre, ready to blow this thing out of the water. As if she would fail. No... Emily Browne had already earned her apparition license without any complications before. This was just the cultists way of wasting their time and slowing them down. It wasn't going to work.

Elinor wasn't as peeved as the other MLE workers. She didn't need her license for her job, after all. But it did impede everyday travels, and thus she wasn't jazzed about losing it in the first place. Ah, well. Nothing scary about a test she already knew she could pass.

The woman wore a white blouse and black pants with a shiny silver buckle. On her feet were black boots with a low heel--wiped off neatly so she was looking nice and professional. Impressions were very important. Her red-brown hair was pulled back in a sloppy ponytail to keep it out of her face.

She spotted several fellow co-workers from MLE, and shot them each a smile. She hesitated slightly in the doorway --- this was just a little awkward. She was a laboratory supervisor, so the fact that she lost her license in the first place, even though every one else did, too, was really weird. But, nothing she couldn't handle.

Katrina flicked her wand just as Miss Payne finished her examination. The two wooden hoops on the ground disappeared and she knew she would have to conjure them again later when the next person being tested walked in. She glanced at the doorway to see the creepy lady who would gladly hex all of them if she had a choice. Sighing, Katrina put a smile on her face. "Hello, Miss Browne, welcome to the Apparition testing room, Mister Recard will be with you in a moment," Katrina nodded, still smiling before noticing the next person walked in. Ah, next person.

With a slightly nervous smile, she walked away towards the other lady.

"Hello, you must be Miss Danvers," Katrina said, holding out her hand for the woman to shake. The last one hadn't hexed her so this one probably wouldn't do it either. "I'm Katrina and I will be administering your practical examination today," she continued, with a smile fixed firmly on her face.

MLE employees were like dogs... they could apparently smell fear... and they got a kick out of it.

Elinor's head turned promptly as she was addressed and smiled back at the woman, gripping her hand in greeting. "That's me. It's a pleasure." Partly because Elinor didn't... socialize at work. Just saying her name was enough to make her happy. Which was sad... Which was really sad.

Not entirely sure if the procedures for testing had changed at all since she'd taken her first, the woman wasn't sure what else to say other than "Ready when you are." Let's do this.

Katrina waved her wand once again and two wooden hoops appeared. "So your first task will be Apparating into the wooden ring over there," Katrina said, gesturing at the wooden ring about two feet away. "I'll demonstrate first, then I'll hold up a hand indicating that you should follow," Katrina said, smiling at the woman politely.

Katrina closed her eyes for the briefest of moments before turning on the spot. With a small pop she arrived in the center of the wooden ring. She stepped out of the ring, didn't want any collisions now, and put up a hand, letting Miss Danvers know that she could now give it a shot.

Andie sat and watched the people disapear and re-apear. She didn't know what was keeping her so engroused to it but she couldn't wait till she could do it herself. 1 license had been given out and she expected that it would be her turn to give the next. Andie sat up a bit more and waited.

Really? ...Really? ...Really?

BUT she understood she was just doing her job. And doing it politely. Therefore the irritation was very slight and very deep down. Not a problem in the least... but the little voice she never paid any attention to was still going 'Really?... Really? ...Really?'

She waited, as instructed, and gave a nod when she was signaled to repeat what the woman had just done. Taking in a breath, she held it for a second, visualizing herself inside the hoop, then moved one foot back by an inch, and turned quickly.

Once the familiar twisting sensation had stopped, she opened her eyes and let out the breath, glancing down to find herself inside the hoop. Lovely! The worst that could happen, she now realized, was that she could've turned in place, and done nothing but made herself dizzy. But she didn't! So she didn't give it another thought. Elinor looked to Katrina, awaiting the next instruction.

Elinor looked to the hoop and waited for the lady to be by it before doing the same thing again. Breath, focus, eyes, twist.

She glanced down.

SUCCESS! ...Of course. But this was a test, so she told herself it was okay to mentally celebrate. Mentally. She didn't need to look as crazy as some of her co-workers. She was allowed to celebrate because there was bound to be one person who messed up.

ANYWAY! Anyway. Focus. Focus.

The woman looked up once more, for the same reason as last time.

The woman definitely seemed happy right about now. Katrina would be too, if she had to be retested that is. She was just grateful that she didn't have to be retested.

Well this was great. She'd well - pretty much passed so far. All she needed to do was pass the physical. "Thank you, again" she smiled over to Katrina before walking over to Where Lily Moretti was standing.

She didn't really know her but she knew that she was her bosses' fiance. So she had to be nice. Right? "Hello Miss Moretti," she smiled as she walked over. "I'm Chelsea, here for the physical part of the Apparation Examination". She smiled.

Katrina looked at the woman, who seemed quite happy to have landed inside the circle. "Lovely, so you third and last task will be to Disapparate from here to anywhere but Level Six in the Ministry and Apparate right back into this room," Katrina said, giving a reassuring smile to the elder woman.

And hopefully, where ever it may be that the woman decided to go, she did not leave any body parts there. Yup.

Satisfied, she smiled and waved her hand, "Alright, you're just fine."

"Absolutely", Elinor nodded. It took her all of a few seconds to think of someplace out-of-the way. The level two bathrooms. Visualizing the spot just to the right of the sinks, Elinor held a small bit of breath and turned, vanishing from the middle of the hoop, leaving only the scent of her perfume behind.

iBeJenn 10-16-2011 11:20 PM

Katrina tapped her foot as the woman disappeared. Really, the whole waiting thing was quite suspenseful. She did wonder if the woman would come back with all her pieces... or not. So she kept a smile of her face and waited... patiently. Very patiently.

GlassXRose 10-16-2011 11:26 PM

*points* posted in the bathrooms on level two :D

Just a couple seconds later, Elinor re-appeared by the younger woman, which she thought of her as only because she had just visited the bathroom, and the light in there wasn't flattering at all. Ugh, she felt old right now.

She released her breath silently, making a slightly exaggerated waiting face, making a little bit of a show out of thinking if she was okay. Glancing down slowly again, she was pleased to see visually what she already knew: No body parts missing! Cool.

"I can do it blindfolded," she dared jokingly. "One hand behind my back!", she offered again, twisting her arm so that her hand was against the small of her back, demonstrating.

Katrina couldn't help but giggle at what the woman said. "Well, save that for after you get your license, then you can try doing it with both hands behind your back if you wish," Katrina said, smiling. She glanced at the woman, up and down. "Alright, all your body parts seem like they're there," Katrina said nodding. That was a good thing. Splinching was never very pleasant.

"So right after you have a quick check up with the healer, you can talk to either Charmayne or Andie over there and they'll let you know what to do next, Miss Denvars," she said, smiling brightly. Katrina rather enjoyed the testing process, everyone did seem awfully nice right now. even if looks could be deceiving

Elinor giggled as well, glad she could be of some entertainment.

"Thank you so much," she nodded, before heading to where the healer evidently was, waiting patiently for her to be done with the previous tester.

He watched with a smile as Katrina tested her second young witch, she was doing quite well; his tester the MLE girl was average.

Suddenly his next scheduled MLE employee arrived--Emily Browne. He had decided the night before he was going to try and get the trouble makers out of the way first. Eyeing the woman for a minute, thinking about the stinging hex that had hit him the last time they had met, he wondered if she had brought her wands with her.

He had let the last attack slide without tell Lord Borr. The others had heard about her attacking him though. If she tried again, he would not hesitate to...retaliate. "Emily. Glad you are on time." he said pointing for her to come stand infront of him so they could get this started.

Yes he was in control in here.

Joy.

Giving the woman a small smile and a nod of understanding, she looked about the room for that inflated head.

And there he was....

"Of course I'm on time... I take punctuality very seriously." She could be punctual without having to apparate. But she really wanted her license back. She could do so much more with it, than without it.

Obediently, Emily approached him... stopping in front of him with a metre between them.
"Where would you like me to start?"
As .. hurry up and lets get this over and done with. The last thing she wanted was general chit chat with the squid muppet.

Glad that she had seemed to have left her pitchfork and brimstone at home, Armen looked at Emily with a small smirk. He would let her start when he wanted her to. Taking another sip of his coffee, making a satisfied sound afterwards...he took yet another drink. Good coffee.

He began to scribbled a few notes on his paper and then looked back up at Emily after about 4 minutes. Oh...his bad. "Alright Miss Browne we will be starting by Apparating into some hoops. The first," he flicked his wand. "Is right there. Please Apparate into it." the department head said pointing at the wooden hoop just two feet away.

Emily raised an eyebrow in disgust. Such a lazy Department Head, how the Cult ever thought him to be useful, she didn't know.
Even if the waiting was killing her internally, she didn't show it on the outside. No, Emily just stood there, hands limp at her sides, starring at the man. It didn't make him feel uncomfortable did it?

When he started writing notes, Emily began to smirk. Was he testing her patience? Seeing if he could get her to snap again? Perhaps... probably.
But she wouldn't, not this time... so he was safe.
Recard finally lifted his giant squid head. So NOW he was ready to start? Good...

"Not a problem," she said facing the hoop. Honestly, this was FAR too easy. Focusing on her destination, Emily turned on the spot, of course with determination and deliberation.

Pfft... stupid jargon!!! As if it didn't come naturally to her!!

Emily disapparated from the spot where she had been standing, and reappeared in the middle of the hoop which Recard had indicated.
"What next?" ... because seriously, this was a piece of cake.

Waving her wand over it once, she checked the information and held it to the light.

SPOILER!!: Ze form!

Name: Isobel Maria Montague
DOB: 15th May 2042
Age: 33

Place of employement and position: Acting Head Auror, Ministry of Magic
Wand: Cherry Wood, 10 and three quarters inches, Phoenix feather

"Everything's in order!" Maine said grinning. "I'm glad you got your license back. Have a nice day!"

Oh. Well that did seem logical. Having a pen when you prefered to write in pens. "You know..." Isobel mused with a smile, watching the lady. "You can get self-inking pens." You know so that you didn't have to keep re-inking them. Those were the ones that Isobel used, and they were pretty good. She had a couple of fancy ones too, but she only used those on special occasions. Ahh. Everything was in order. Perfect. Oh Isobel was glad that she had gotten her license back now. "Im glad too..." She mused with a smile. It had been so annoying not being able to apparate. "Ahh....you too."

She turned to walk away, and out of the room, but that was when she noticed that Emily was being tested, by no other than that big jerk. Hmm. The acting head auror decided to stay a while, and watch Emily's test. Make sure Armen didn't fail her or anything.

Sapphira went to the testing center, wanting to get her liscence back. She didn't really fancy these kinds of stuff, but for the sake of her liscence, she would do anything for it.

"Hello," she said. "I'm here for my Apparition Test."

When he had received the letter saying he could take his practical exam, Sabel had spared it no courtesy of a 'rush order'. While he found the apparation licence extremely useful and supportive to his job and personal life, the whole retesting process was frankly, to him, a waste of time. Unfortunately, it was a necessary waste of time.

So it was with a good deal of resentment that he had started up to the exam room. Thankfully, much of his disgruntled state had simmered down to a flat acceptance. He had to take it, whether he liked it or not. That was the proven end of it.

Drawing out his wand for identification, Sabel stepped inside the room, taking a curious glance about. He wasn't too sure who he was supposed to report to or where it was he was to go, so he sort of just fell in line behind a few other entrees. His eyes flicked to Armen and a few of the other testers that had been in the 'apparation' lesson and he couldn't help but wonder if they had brought more 'goodies' to spite the MLE members with.

As Armen waited for Emily to move on and start her first Apparition into the easy hoop, he looked up at the Exam room around him. The place was hoppin'. There were a stream of MLE employees entering, being tested, and recieving their licenses and it made the department head very proud of his testers, they were doing so well.

"Hello," she said. "I'm here for my Apparition Test."

The first new person he saw enter was a young woman, who entered and looked lost.

"Yes you will be testing with Katrina, right over there." he said pointing at Katrina (iBeJenn) as she stood not too far away towards the right side of the room.

The next person to enter the testing area was one that Armen remembered from the Apparition lesson he had hosted for the MLE department. He was one of the trouble makers.

Siiigh.

Recard didn't even bother with pleasentries and instead just snapped at the kid and pointed at Katherine (PhoenixRising. "You will test with Katherine."

You know so that you didn't have to keep re-inking them.

And of course after he turned away from the new comers to watch Emily as she surely would do something that required him to scold her, he noticed Izzy was still standing by the exit watching them. He shook his head exasperated. Oh well, there weren't any spare chairs in the room for her to sit so if she stayed she would just have to be uncomfortable.

Now back to the delequant.

Surpising she was actually able to Apparate the 2 feet into the hoop with her large ego. Armen didn't have problems with large egos if you actually earned them, or had the skill or experience to back them up. Emily Browne had none of those, being still practically a Hogwarts student and just a trainiee.

"...Average." He said making a mark on the clipboard. He flicked his wand across the room and another wooden hoops appeared near the far wall of the room about 12 feet away. "Please try and Apparate into the hoop over there." He said with an annoyed tone.

"Thank you so much," she nodded, before heading to where the healer evidently was, waiting patiently for her to be done with the previous tester.

Oh, another person. She smiled again, "Alright dear, let's have a looksie." She went through her checklist of things to look at, and gave a nod, "Looks good. You're all set."

Surprised at the lack of time that took, Elinor thanked the healer with a nod before moving out of the way, to the desk where "Charmayne" and "Andie" were sitting.

Elinor had halfway handed the parchment back when she turned it around quickly. Wait. Something wasn't right here. The lady had to scan the page twice before her eyes fell upon the mistake, written on the very top line. Pressing her lips together as she snickered, her face turned a pinkish color as she raised her hand to cover it.

Taking a breath with a "Whooo...", she leaned over again, correcting the paper.

She checked AGAIN, briefly, before she was satisfied with herself. Satisfied though she may have been, she was certain she was the only person who had to take the test ONCE, yet try the form TWICE. Her eyes flitted to the people closest to her very briefly, suddenly feeling very silly and couldn't wait to leave the room -- Even though none of them could have known what she had mistakenly done on the form.

Maine smiled at the woman, mildly amused and waved her wand over a license.

Handing it over, she grinned. "All the information's okay?"

"Congrats on getting your license back." Maine didn't like the idea, but she liked having a job, so... yeah...

Emily raised an eyebrow, considering what he had just said. Did he really just say average? How could apparating two feet possibly be average?
Seriously, Recard was asking to be hexed.
But she wouldn't. Nope, not this time. Emily was not going to let him get to her.

Smiling sweetly she gave him a small nod. "Too easy."
Of course she would apparate twelve feet. No biggie.

Sure she might have only been out of school for well over a year, but she'd been apparating for longer than that, and on a regular basis. If she couldn't apparate twelve feet, then she wouldn't have gotten her license in the first place.

Idiot.

Doing as Armen had instructed, Emily focused her attention on the next hoop and disapparated from the spot she was on, right into the target hoop.
Sure she wasn't dead-on centre. But it was close enough.

"Anything else?"

Translation, I can already do this you stupid squid!

"Thank you so much," Elinor nodded as she took the license, perhaps not as enthused as some her co-workers might have been. But it was pretty inconvenient to need to apparate somewhere only to have had your license revoked by someone who had no right to revoke it in the first place...

Anyway.

"Have a nice day," she said automatically, turning from the room to head back to level two.

Katrina smiled politely and nodded. "Yes, Miss Adams, I am aware," she said, before flicking her wand and conjuring up a wooden hoop approximately two feet away from their current position. "So, let's get started," she said, looking at the woman. Katrina cleared her throat a bit and smiled. "So, your first task will be to Apparate into the wooden hoop about two feet away, I'll go first as a demonstration, then once I step out, you can go give it a try," Katrina explained.

Katrina closed her eyes, having done this twice already, and turned on the spot, ending up in the center of the hoop. She stepped out of the wooden circle and looked at Miss Adams, waiting for her to arrive inside the hoop.

She dissapeared and reappeared in the hoop with with a 'CRACK'. Then, she turned her head to her examiner.

Armen smirked. Of course she would be able to Apparate across the room, he really didn't doubt much of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement employees true Apparition abilities; he had just gone through with this whole thing to slow down their efforts of snooping around the Cult members. And it had worked superbly.

"Yes there is one more thing Emily, calm down." he said annoyed, couldn't have her bouncing around the room like a small child on their first toy broom. However Bole and Damien, well now Izzy, could handle this one he would never know. "I need you to Apparate to somewhere else in the Ministry, besides level six, and then return by Apparating back into the hoop you are in now." This was the point most, if any, would splinch. And despite remaining 100% professional, he sort of hoped it would happen, just slightly. A bit of excitment made a say's work fun.

One more thing... ONE more thing. So this was it... she could see the light at the end of the tunnel now. Soon she would have her license back, and then she could leave this blasted training room. Putting some distance between her and Recard would be a good thing.

"Not a problem," she said with a small smirk. Heh. She could do that, even if a part of her was tempted to just not bother coming back at all. No she would be prompt, she always was.

Now... the only question that remained was where to apparate to?

Making up her mind, she focused on her destination. Then with a CRACK disapparated from her hoop to the Lobby area on level one.

Armen was not impressed with her big-headedness. Didn't she ever hear of the saying 'you'll jinx yourself'? It would be mighty embarrassing if she wasn't able to Apparate back into the room like she assumed she could.

Waiting for her to return, Recard half thought about casting the spell on the room to not allow anyone to Apparate back in but thought better of it. He couldn't do that...being professional and all.

CRACK

Emily reappeared in the hoop she had disapparated from only moments ago. Sure she wasn't perfectly central, but he never stated that as one of the requirements, so too bad Recard.

She smirked a little and setn him a wink.
"Was that all Mister Recard?" she asked.

Yes she felt she could afford to be cheeky now that she had passed the 'last' task.

Emily was fairly certain that Armen wasn't pleased to see her, no doubt he wanted her to faill. But that wasn'y going to happen, and only natural given the circumstances, the feeling was mutual.
But as she stepped out of the hoops, she gave him a small smile nonetheless,"thank you," she replied.

Healer Moeretti? As in Healer Morreti from Hogwarts?
Merlin! that brought back memories. And not all of them pretty, considering the circumstances.

Dinner? Pausing, she gave Armen a resigned look. She didn't say yes, nor did she say no. But after a brief moment she moved off toward Healer Moretti.

Gosh it was strange to see her outside of school.
"Healer Moretti?"

Other than level six? The Atrium could do it, right?

Oh. Perfect, Emily had passed. Well that was pretty super. Isobel grinned, knowing that Armen must have been pretty annoyed. They all seemed to be passing so far, and as long as all her aurors passed then Isobel was going to be very happy. What didn't make her happy was what Armen said next. He still wanted to go to dinner with Emily? Isobel narrowed her eyes. Now that wasn't very professional was it? Considering that Armen was supposed to be testing people today, didn't the man know how to keep his life separate from his work life. Obviously not.

At least Emily didn't react this time though. That was a good thing. Isobel folded her arms, and she waited for Emily to finish getting checked over. She'd walk back up to their level with her, and inform her that she should not got on that dinner.

Katherine had nearly fallen over asleep as she waited for the MLE person she was to test to arrive.... Hence why it took her a few moments longer than it should have to catch up to reality when her boss had something about someone testing with Katherine.

His eyes flicked to Armen and a few of the other testers that had been in the 'apparation' lesson and he couldn't help but wonder if they had brought more 'goodies' to spite the MLE members with.

... Fixing her dark green eyes on the person, she realized almost immediately who it was. It was of course, the rather sarcastic young male from the lesson. Couldn't it have been Dorian? At least she knew him.... Even if she hadn't properly had a conversation with him in YEARS, she still knew him. And he was nice.

Right then. This wasn't a date. This was just a test. And he was waiting for her. Approaching him cautiously, she smiled politely; "Hello... I'm Katherine and I'll be testing you today." Uh. What was she supposed to do now? All recollections of everything seemed to have disappeared. "I'll need you to ... apparate into that metal hoop... this one, that's nearby. No hopping really quickly either." Yes, she's seen students attempt that before.

Siiigh.

Recard didn't even bother with pleasentries and instead just snapped at the kid and pointed at Katherine (PhoenixRising. "You will test with Katherine."

Armen earned no favorable impression from Sabel at his address, but they weren't exactly there to play nice or pleasant. And it was probably just as well their conversation was non-existent. It wasn't the time or the place for confrontation, and after a quick glance at Emily, Sabel turned his eyes in the direction Armen had pointed.

Kathrine. He remembered her from the lesson. The one that had handed out the Smarties. He guessed that it was from that encounter that both aired on the side of caution when approaching one another. But despite the childish reward system she had seemed to favor, she upheld a good deal of politeness. Perhaps the process could be relatively painless.

"Sabel Dakest." Giving Kathrine a slight nod of acknowledgement and perhaps respect, based on perception, Sabel's attention turned to his assignment. Hoop hopping. He couldn't say he practiced it often, and while it seemed somewhat trivial, he could see the point of it. For seventh years just learning how to apparate.

The negativity he held towards his task was lifted a little with Kathrine's little comment. He couldn't help but grin and chuckle a little. His eyes rolled towards the woman as he shifted his grip on his wand. "You guys take all the fun out of everything."[/b]

With that said and a small smile still present, Sabel turned his eyes back to the hoop, considering it for a long moment. When he was sure he could picture it as clear as day in his mind and was positive his intention was fully set he disappeared from where he stood with a crack, only to appear inside the hoop with another crack to the air. It had been a long time since he had apparated last, and he was rather glad to be able to account for all his limbs.

But as she stepped out of the hoops, she gave him a small smile nonetheless,"thank you," she replied.

Healer Moretti? As in Healer Morreti from Hogwarts?
Merlin! that brought back memories. And not all of them pretty, considering the circumstances.

Dinner? Pausing, she gave Armen a resigned look. She didn't say yes, nor did she say no. But after a brief moment she moved off toward Healer Moretti.

Gosh it was strange to see her outside of school.
"Healer Moretti?"

"Oh hello dear!" Lily smiled at the girl, remembering her easily. She'd always had a good memory, it was a crucial part to being a Healer, obviously.

"How are you? I didn't know that you worked for the MLE." Huh. Interesting. She did know about Sabel though, and she glanced in his direction for a moment, before looking back to the girl. "I've only got a few things to check." She started to do so then. "Are you feeling well?"

Of all the people involved in this ridiculous testing process, Healer Moretti was easily her favourite. She had always been an awesome Healer, and friendly too... nothing at all like Recard. What an Idiot.
"I'm well thank you," she replied in a more cheerful tone. "Just working here part time while I complete my Auror Training." And it was clearly the best thing she'd ever done. Even better than quidditch.
"Everything going well at Hogwarts?" she asked, remembering all the times she'd been to Hospital Wing, not only for herself, but for her friends as well. It always seemed so busy.

"I'm feel perfectly fine." Except for perhaps being a little annoyed at Recard's last comment. But physically she was fine.

"Auror training?" Lily nodded approvingly. "Sounds like a promising career." She knew that Damien would have given all he had to teach her, and she was sure that Isobel was doing a fine job of filling in for him while he was gone.

"I've been to the office a fair few times visiting Evander, I'm surprised that I never saw you." Perhaps she had just been distracted with kisses. It happened.

Having finished her little exam, Lily shook her head, "I'm afraid I'm no longer employed at Hogwarts, dear. This past year was my last."

"I hope so,"... provided I don't end up getting myself killed anytime soon, she thought. It happened. And with her temper, it would definitely happen. She'd just rub someone up the wrong way and then BAM!.. bye bye Emily. Meh, it happened.

Healer Moretti knew Van? Oh... oh... OH! The pieces started fitting together now. She was engaged to him! Eeeep now this was exciting. Until now she hadn't really given Van's engagement much thought, but it made perfect sense for it to be Lily. Though remembering something from one of the meetings a while ago, Van had said his partner was part of the Cult, for good reasons of course, she wasn't one of the shady ones. Mm, food for thought.
"I was probably out patrolling, or at training." Or had her nose stuck in the filing cabinet. "I uhh.. had no idea you frequently visited the office... and Van."

What? That was insanity! "Oh that's a shame, you were always a brilliant Healer, I'm sure they'll miss you."

As she waited for Sabel to complete his task, there was something ... a name called that seemed to strike some sort of memory in Katherine's brain. Healer Moretti. Though Katherine did not know the Healer part, she knew the Moretti part. One was just a few years younger than she was, actually, in her own house.

Blink, blink. She stared at the blond woman. Could it be? Shaking her head, she sighed and directed her attention back to the YATI she was testing.

Judging from his smile, she could tell she loosened up the tension a bit between them with her last comment on hoop hopping. "Only for your benefit, of course. But I suppose that's only comparable to the sarcasm you guys put into everything."

Watching as he apparated on the spot, Kat had to admit she was quite impressed, considering how young he looked and all. "Right then," she nodded approvingly, checking off that task. "Now that hoop... way over there...." She pointed with her quill tip to the plastic hoop that was on the other side of the room.

Crack.

Sapphira appeared in Apparition room, right where she had dissapeared.

"Hello," she said while looking at her tester.

Lily nodded, "Well, perhaps next time I come, I will keep an eye out for you." She made a notation in her file and glanced back at the girl when she spoke of Hogwarts. She had adored working there, and had she been single and without children, it would have been a perfect fit, but as it were.. "It was my choice, to be closer to home and with my son more often." She smiled at Emily, who, though obviously a bit headstrong, had always been a good girl.

"You're perfectly fine, dear. Free to go get your license!" Yaaaaaaay!

Family was always an honorable reason to leave your work behind. It must have been difficult having to work away from home for so long.
"That seems fair enough," she mused. Family... children... now there was a thought. Emily was grateful she didn't have to worry about anyone else... aside from those she worked with of course, and two of them in particular.

Oohh yes! Her license.
"Thank you, and I suppose I might be seeing you around." She gave Healer Moretti a polite smile and a nod of the head before moving off.

Uhhh... who did she have to get her license off? Nobody had told her.

Emily was tempted to wave her arms about and yell Give me back my license ... but she knew better than that.
No instead she stood there. Someone would approach her soon... yes?

Maine waved at the person who was finished with her check-up thingy over to their table. She did want her licence back, right?

"We're over here!" she greeted cheerily. Now... when was her lunch break?

Putting all the forms in order again, she placed a pen and a quill on the desk. Just in case she wasn't comfortable with either.
