Within the main working area of the department of mysteries a small area dedicated to the Amortentia Testing had been set up. There were a few desks, where stacks of parchment stood, along with a few quills. Two tables had been set up for the volunteers to sit them selves on when they were in the the department. On the desk, in a magically sealed box sits the vials of love potion. Just enough for all of the individuals taking part in the test. The spells and charms around the department had been lowered for the time being, to allow easy access for the individuals taking part.

After doing all the important paperwork and going to the meeting for this love potion testing, Saxon was then told to make her way to the testing stations as soon as she could. She made her way to the level and found the place she was told to locate. The second Saxon had entered the room, she took a few steps away from the door and 'casually' stood in the middle of the room. Now, who was she supposed to go to, or who was she supposed to be found by? Either way, someone would see a very confused blonde and would help her around.

Now to play the waiting game.

Athena walked into the testing area she was sent to for the loooove potion testing.. though she was still a bit skeptical about how "un tested" it seemed in a way, seemed like they just made a "love potion" and threw in in a vial and were just giving it out to others. None the less, as long as it didn't kill her she was all up for testing...


Cause if it killed her, she'd come back and haunt people. she was too pretty to die

The Departmet of Mysteries was quite a sight to see. Of course, there wasn't much to see-- After all, the most classified area of the British Ministry wasn't exactly conducting tours. But what he could see was pretty fantastic. Of course, Charles wasn't here today for a tour. He was here to start the love potion testing. After being directed twice, he finally found the place and practically sailed into the room, a spring in the lanky gentleman's step.

He smiled about at his co-testers, a nod to each of the ladies, bidding them each a good morning, before curiously eyeing the set-up they had down here. He stepped to the side, the tall fellow planting his hands in the pockets of his suit pants, a childlike expression of wonder and excitement on his face.

Zoe skipped down to the Department of Mysteries to get her love potion. Her only problem was she didn't have anyone to fall in love with. Maybe it would be the first person she saw or someone that lived in her building. Either way, she was ready.

Victoria got the memo it was time to take the potion. She thought about a certain date all the way to the testing room. How she really hoped this wouldn't ruin that, but she volunteered and she wasn't backing out so time to go in. Finding the room Vic entered and looked around. Some faces looked familiar from the meeting they had before. She wondered if they were all feeling as nervous as she was.


Sighing she thought about all the paper work she had in her office so she hoped this would hurry up a bit. Well that and she was afraid shew as going to change her mind, so best if that didn't happen either. Now that she was here what was she suppose to do. Just stand and wait, was there something to sign? Why couldn't they just have the potion sitting for them to take and leave. Well she would just try not to be to fidgety and wait until she was told.

Harland yawned slightly as he entered the room. It had been a rough night at home, what with just moving into a new little flat in London. Maybe he should get a dog now, hmmm. Either way he was as ready as he'd ever be for this testing to begin. He just hoped that inorganic love thing wasn't going to mess up his work habits.

He glanced about the room, wondering who in the world he was going to 'fall in love' with. He didn't talk to many people outside of work. If it was a coworker that could make things a wee bit complicated. Harland cleared his throat ever-so-slightly and waited.

Manolo shuffled into the testing room. Time to do this thingy! He looked around and looked at the other workers doing this experiment too. Did they feel as nervous as he did, or was he just weird and individually nervous. He walked up to the employee as he waited for the potion to be handed to him.

Alexander walked into the testing station, ready for the testing to begin. He shot a smile to everyone as he walked in. "Hello all!" he said, giving them all a wave. Eyeing the viles of potions along the desk, he thought to himself about how the testers were feeling. Probably a bit uneasy, eh? Turning his attention to the few workers standing around, they did actually look a bit nervous. Or something like that. And well, he didn't quite blame them, he'd feel that way too. But thank Merlin he wasn't one of the testers, nah he was just handing out the potions. At least that's what he had been told. Leaning against the wall, he waited for this whole thing to start.

Demetrius walked into the testing with a smirk on his face. He was more than happy to hand out the potions and watch this. It was going to interesting. To say the least. "Hello, Everyone" Demetrius said giving everyone a nod. He looked around to see who else was there and spotted Alexander. So he was giving out the potions with him. Ah right he was on the list. With Sherman, Alex, and Jade.

Demetrius walked over the Alexander, smiled, and "So now we are just waiting for Isobel and everyone else on the list."

Was Evelyn going to be here also. Since she is supervising. He was just happy he was not a tester. Hope the testers were getting paid well for this.

Did he forget he was supposed to be here today? Of course not. Did he want to be here at all? ....No. At first the idea seemed interesting but between people freaking about it and him actually thinking it through he was even less enthused. This would be for the potion. They'd worked hard on it and needed to know that it worked.

He took a deep breath, preparing himself to be around so many people before entering the testing area. Just as he thought. Almost all the volunteers had shown up.

He tried his best to hide his scowl.

There was Victoria. She got a nod and a smile before he took his spot and nodding along to what Demetrius was saying. Just needed the boss lady then they could get this train crash started.

Zoe perked up when Demetrius entered and greeted them. "Hi!" she responded, giving a little wave. She was excited, very excited, to be participating in the test. Between the money and the unknown, it was the perfect task to be a part of.

Glancing around, she saw a mixed group. Some seemed excited, some indifferent, and others that were not so happy. " What's the big deal?"she thought. It was going to be fun.

Finally. It seemed like one of the department people making the potion testing possible had arrived. Thank goodness. Saxon had been standing their for a while and was getting impatient. Oh, but then he said they had to wait for more people. The blonde let out a sigh, but only in her mind. So, when were they going to start making some sort of progress here? She didn't have all day. Well, she did, her day was pretty much free, but still though.

Emma walked into the testing room with a warm smile on her face. "Hello Everyone. How are you all doing?," she asked as she glanced about the room at the faces of the testers. She guessed that perhaps a couple of the people could have felt a little uneasy or nervous about the whole testing. Emma knew far to well that if she was in this situation then she would have felt very uneasy about being the lab rat. Personally, the blonde was glad that she wasn't the one being tested on.

She scanned the room for a familiar face and saw a couple fellow employees (Demetrius and Alexander) standing together. The blonde gave them a friendly wave. Emma had never properly introduced herself to them so she made her way towards them. "Hey. I don't believe we've met before, I'm Emma," she added as she held her hand outstretched towards her two co-workers.

Well, wasn't this exciting?

Cole made his way to the Mysteries once again, all ready and set for this love potion thing. It probably was a little mental to be excited by this but he couldn't resist.

After doing whatever paper work was necessary, he waited for this thing to began.

With the pile of consent forms in her hand (she was going to make sure anyone who got potion had given consent) Isobel wandered down from her office and towards the testing stations. She was excited. It was time to get everything sorted and started. Then they could begin testing the potion. She hummed to herself, pushing a lock of hair behind her ear as she came into the area. "Good Morning." She murmured with a smile as she placed the consent forms down on the table.

"Hmm.... we just need to wait for a few more people to turn up." She was sure more people had volunteered for this. So hopefully they would turn up soon.

It was hard to maneuver around wheelchairs, okay? It generally took quite a large amount of time for Sherman to wheel his giant lug of a chair into crowded areas, and this one probably had more people present in it than the number that worked in his whole department. But at least he found a way to make it fit.

"Hi boss," Sherman greeted, halting his chair next to the blonde lady.

.. was he supposed to hand out stuff now? Where did he do that, exactly?

Brandon walked as fast as he could all the way to his department and as soon as he was going to enter the room he fixed his suit and tie, he noticed the volunteers -or some of them- were already here and also his Department Head "Good morning" said with a nod.

Poor souls, either they didn't have something to do at the moment or they were curious enough to try this potion. Although, it was going to be interesting to see their reactions.

Several official looking people entered the room as Zoe waited. She was curious as to why so many workers need to be there to administer the potion. "Hi" she greeted each of the Department of Mysteries employees as they entered.

As she sat waiting, her stomach started to grumble. "Are there any snacks? Maybe some tea and crumpets?" Now knowing how much longer they would be sitting there, she figured she might as well ask for food.

Okaaay. That was enough waiting. They needed to get on with this testing, and get the love potion handed out. Okay. She glanced around noticing that Sherman, Demetrius and Alex were here. Perfect, she did need the people to hand out the love potion. So it was useful that they were there. Gavin was also there. He could hand out love potion too. She didn't mind it too much.

"Okay guys. We're gonna hand out the first dose of the Love potion now." Which seemed very good. "Demetrius, Sherman, Alex, Brandon and Gavin." She pointed the five men out in turn. "Will be handing out the doses, so if you can please form orderly queues by them, and you will all be given a dose in due course." Hopefully it would go nice and to plan.

Victoria saw Gavin walk in and give her a nod she smiled sweetly and gave a small smile. At least she knew someone that was handing out the potion. That should make her feel better, right? Not really.. She was still a nervous wreck about this. Fidgeting a bit from her nervous she watched as others walked in and then the lady from the first meeting. Vic assumed was the one that was in charge, what was her name again. Oh it probably didn't matter really.


Listening to instructions she looked around to the men that were pointed to. Well this was an interesting group to be passing the potions out, but Victoria made her way towards Gavin. She just felt more comfortable going to someone she knew than someone she didn't. It wasn't that she thought theirs would be bad potions, but it did help to know it was from a possible friend, was he a friend.. Well she kind of hoped he was.

"Hey Gavin, I guess I get to be your victim for the potion to start out with." She chuckled a bit, "Now no funny business alright.. like no double dosage or anything." she hoped he didn't mind her small joke.

Oh, yes! This was finally beginning to start. Saxon paid attention and then nodded when it seemed like the big boss had told them to form a line behind one of the employees giving out the doses. She looked at all the people and then came up to the aging man in the wheelchair. The young blonde smiled sweetly at him."Hello Sir Sherman. Yes?" Saxon said with a little salute.

Zoe got up from her seat and headed over to get her dose. She was ready, but starting to get a big nervous. She hoped the 20 galleons was going to be worth it. She approached one of the guys, not knowing his name, and asked "Is this going to taste bad?"

He was only vaguely paying attention to everything going on around him--why listen when he wasn't hearing his own voice?--but had to focus. This was where he came in. Handing out the potion and hoping there were no initial complaints. No one liked a whiner.

So who was first?

Ah Victoria. "Victim makes this all sound even worse than it already is, you can stick to volunteer for now, it'll keep the MLE away." He said, his lips tugging into a smirk. They'd already been through this. It probably wouldn't end well, yet there were so many willing volunteers. "And you can monitor it if you'd like." He gestured toward the small box and exaagerated his every move as he removed the vial. Nothing serious, just a joke. Apparently he knew about those, go figure. "And here you go, a vial for you."

And another willing to get this testing on it's way. Brilliant! He reached into the small box for another vial before turning to the woman and her odd question. "Bad is relative. I don't think I can answer that but I can tell you that in all the batches we've brewed we haven't gotten word from anyone that it tastes disgusting." Disgusting was a bit more distinct.

"Here you go then." He said, handing it to her. "I hope this doesn't end in a complete disaster for you." Gavin added a grin. Just in case.

Victoria smiled at Gavin, he was an interesting one she wouldn't deny that. She never really could figure out if he was just quiet or if he was just always more of a serious person. She knew he joked a bit, but she always got a trace of something more. She had interesting friends she couldn't deny that. All were so different.

Looking at the vials she took a deep breath. "Only a month right? How bad can it be?" It wasn't going to like kill her or anything... Plus Charely said he would keep an eye out for her if she was to off or anything. She had Mariel as well and Bart was at his dad's after this small visit this week. So nothing to bad would come of this. Nope she had hope. She just hoped whomever the person was that would find her attention would go easy on her and not think she was totally nuts.

Typically more shy especially around men, Victoria wondered how this would effect the potion she was about to take. Looking at the Vial in Gavin's hand she hesitated a bit. Now or never Vic... She gently took the vial from his hand and drank it. "Well that's that..." for now at least.. She handed the empty vial back over to him. "I guess I'm done for now.. See you around.."
