Viewing Room & Holding Cells The three holding cells double as interrogation rooms, each with an unbreakable mirror and a heavy door on one wall and nothing else to speak of aside from a table and a few chairs. One has a light that stretches from the ceiling and swings gently this way and that, casting a yellow glow that is constantly and lazily in motion around the white painted room, while rooms Two and Three have fixed lights, that provide a horrible artificial tint of colour. Behind the mirror of course a MLE employee could stand and see into the room itself. These mirrors are charmable and not always activated. Sometimes they simply appear to be mirrors on both sides. Any investigation carried out within these rooms will be recorded in pensieve form for later reviewing. There is no escaping these rooms but likewise, if you're within one, you'll be perfectly safe from anyone seeking to cause you harm. You are here. Room 1: Room 2: Room 3: ooc: This area is not accessible by non MLE employees. A Caterwauling charm plus several other protection charms are in place here. However, if you have been invited or asked to RP here by a DMLE employee, you are more than welcome to do so, just be sure to follow their instructions! (and have fun). |
Room 1 Damien gave a slight grunt as he plopped the stunned woman into a chair in the holding cell and then immediately bound her hands magically behind her back. He waited for Sabel to bring his perp in and then he would send Patronuses for some of the others... Or he could have Sabel do it. Give him some experience. |
A cold chill washed through Sabel as he slipped into the room behind Damien. He had never been to this part of the Ministry and really, his life wouldn't have been any worse if he never had to come here. With half his attention taking in the presence of the room, he settled his charge into one of the free chairs and cast a rope around her wrists: tight enough to hold, but not so much that it would cut into her skin. He may have been in an interrogation room, but that wasn't his job. And if he could help it, it would never be a part of his job. |

Sabel glanced up from his kneeling position beside his charge, a frown contorting his features. For a moment he simply watched Damien, drawing his wand up and gradually turning his attention to casting the patronus. It came without an incantation: silver light streaming forth, rolling and coursing on the faint drafts in the room until an otter could be seen in its light. With a chuckle and a playful squeak, it skittered through the door and down the hallway, its absence turning the room that much more gloomy. "Is this to be a group interrogation, Sir?" Sabel was surprised at the quietness of his own voice, his eyes remaining on the door where the last stream of light had been. He really didn't want to look at Damien right now, for fear of the answer he might see. |
After streaking through the office, Emily got to the Holding Cells ... what in the name of Merlin's stripey underwear was going on?! Noticing that Room one was sudenly occupied she slipped inside to see Damien, Sabel... and women.... "You called," she said smirking slightly as she eyed the perpetrators. |
Dacs received a message via patronus to come to the vewing room. She opened the door to see Damien with a woman, in the chair and her hands bound behind her back. She didn't need to say much, she just knew that she came at the right time. Closing the door behind her she leaned against the wall and waited as the culprit apprehended was unconscious. |
Yeah... This case wasn't exactly meant for him, but Benjamin had nothing better to do. And whoever was being dragged through the office was obviously a pain in the but. So, Benjamin thought he could add his expertise. Not necessarily be apart of the interrogation, but be there (and get the scoop.) Benjamin entered room one, hoping not to be a pain. "Hey. Not exactly my offices," although it very well could be, "But, I thought I could lend a hand." The Detective observed the woman unconscious, not exactly sure who she was. "I'll be in the viewing room..." Benjamin went out of the room and arouuuund into the viewing room. He could see and hear into room one, and he waited for someone to join him. |
Oooh. Something was going on! Which was pretty interesting. As soon as the patronus had disappeared Isobel hurried over to the holding cells. This was obviously pretty important if they needed to be right way. Opening the door to the holding cell, she walked in, nodding at Damien, and the other three people that were present there. Now to let the fun begin... |
And to whoever is in the viewing room. Gabriel wasn't going to be doing any interrogating, unless Damien needed him for anything, which was highly doubtful. No, he was there simply because he was interested. In seeing who these people were, and what would be done with them. In the back of his mind he was wondering if it was Cult related - mainly because he had no idea what was going on at Hogwarts, having never been there himself. His long strides down the corridor had finally bought him to holding room one, he knocked gently, just opening the door enough to see inside. Spotting the two women in the chairs he narrowed his eyes. Hmmm. Lifting his gaze to Damien he nodded in greeting. "I'll watch from the viewing room if that's all right..." He slowly closed the door again and went to the next door along. The mirror had already been activated, so he could see the holding room clearly with it's array of occupants. "Dacs, Benjamin," he greeted them both with a smile as he moved to the side and folded his arms, staring curiously through the glass. |

"Stop smirking Emily. This isn't a damn spectacle." He chanced his fellow trainee a disapproving glance. Sure, they had entered Hogwarts and threatened the school and no he had no love for people that did that. But this wasn't fun and games either. In an effort to contain his agitation, he returned his attention back to the bonds of the woman he had brought in. This was his fifth check of them, but it was the only thing he had to preoccupy his mind. While he had yet to see it, he had heard Aurors could be hard people and when that concept was combined with 'interrogation', well, he didn't want to think too hard on the outcome. |

Heh. "Oh shut it," she replied coolly. She seriously hoped he wasn't about to get all gooey and soft. The last thing she wanted to see was a man her age fawning over two criminals getting them tea and biscuits and talking about his feelings. And he seriously wanted to be an Auror? |
"If you aren't an Auror please step into the viewing room. Sabel, myself, Emily, and Isobel will handle this portion of the investigation then they will be handed over to MLES. Now out!" he said in his most authoritative voice. He knew an open invite was... open, but this was RIDICULOUS. Looking to Sabel and Emily he immediately spoke up, "If you two are going to stand there and bicker like children... and Sabel if you can't stomach it then both of you OUT NOW." |
Emily waited patiently, as the others made their way out- on Damiens orders..... this was going to be very interesting indeed. Something about it was exciting, her mind was buzzing, she was alert... and eager. |

His fellow employees shuffled into the viewing room, and Ben nodded at each of them. "So, what's the situation?" looking to anyone for the answer. |
Averting his gaze from the holding cells, Blaise quietly stepped into the Viewing Room and stood near Gabe. "Cult related?" he asked quietly. Arms folded, he stared into the room where Damien, Emily, and |

Keeping an ear out for anyone else entering the room, Gabe heard Ben ask another question. Didn't have a complete answer to that one though. "Polyjuiced as students at Hogwarts is all I know. I guess we'll see in a minute..." Quote:
"Truthfully? No idea," he whispered in reply. "Bought in from Hogwarts apparently." So it was either unconnected, or the Cult's tentacles stretched everywhere. Now Damien had got rid of anyone who didn't need to be there, Gabe leaned on the mirror frame and crossed his arms again. This could get even more interesting. |

He would ask if Gabe knew anything more than that, but he looked as clueless as everyone else did in here. Considering Damien said something about handing these people over to MLES... he THOUGHT that was them, but he wasn't sure. So, to be safe, he thought he'd ask. "So after Damien's done, where do they go next?" |
Quote:
"Ikenna Gevrik," was all Ben had to say about that. He was most certainly apart of the cult, and most certainly at Hogwarts. "There are cult members at Hogwarts. This woman isn't necessarily one, but I wouldn't be surprised." Quote:
Ben looked through the glass before hearing the question. "Well, we won't find out until Damien, well, finds out." Newbie. "Chances are, we," the MLE, "Will get blamed for 'falsely arresting' this woman... Speaking in the state of the ministry..." |

He wasn't going to back out. Especially not when Hogwarts was involved. But that didn't mean he had to like any of it. Or how some of the attendies seemed so eager. It put him on edge. Shifting his weight, he folded his arms across his chest and leaned back against the cool wall. While his wand was still in his hand, it was more for safety than anything else. At least, those were his intentions. Whatever Damien was thinking of.....he didn't want to know. |

As she joined the others in the viewing room she leaned against the wall behind them all. She wasn't in the best of moods and rather concentrated on what was going on in the interrogation room for now. Darkening her eyes she folded her arms over her chest she waited. |
Sweet Pea was not in the best of moods, and waking up in the Ministry of Magic did not improve her mood. She blinked a few times against the glare of the overhead light. She tried to move and found she was bound to the chair and her hands were tied. Her brown eyes burned with intensity as she looked at the man who had stunned her and dragged her to the ministry. "You wouldn't look so smug if I wasn't tied to this chair," she growled trying to yank her hands free. |

"I figured as much after Damien finds out," he said. "But, hypothetically speaking. Not guilty, released but kept watch on. Guilty - possibly taken to the cells to stay, if there's no interference. Correct?" He just wanted to make sure of this. It seemed logical, but one could never be too safe. Quote:
There was something about this woman. Something... wrong. Maybe his gut instincts were right. But, he'd have to wait till Damien started interrogating. |
