Sigh thankfully they were at the daycare otherwise she would have gone momzilla no strangers near her babies... But since they were here she'd let her go for now... Ella smiled up at the man a big grin! "You two are so cute... In a brother sister kind of way.... Your brother and sister correct?" Otherwise she really needed to work on her skills.
The blonde then stared at him until she realized who he was, "Your um Be- Sky's husband. I believe we also work on the same floor." And again hopefully this man was really Sky's husband, Benny?? Otherwise she would be leaving right now! "It all depends on how many children are in at the time."

She giggled and gestured to Lucas still tugging on Bejy's pants and calling him uncle, trying to get his attention. "And my kids call him uncle."
Benjy was tired. All he wanted was to drop Lupin off at daycare and go to work, or at least go sit at his desk where there would hopefully be peace and quiet. So when Eliza replied back, he just kinda shrugged and scratched the stubble of a beard on his chin.
It was only when someone else started talking to the two that he even started paying attention. "Uh.... yeah... we're basically siblings." He said, adjusting Lupin on his shoulder. Lupin was bored now and had stopped squirming and instead was making faces at the girl who had come over to Benjy's leg.
The hit wizard gave a small smile to the girl before looking around at the rest of the busy daycare, his eyes coming to rest on the other woman talking with Eliza. "Yes, Sky is my wife. I'm Benjamin Doherty, MLE." He said offering his free hand. "I'm sorry, you are?" He asked, trying to place where this person knew him from, other than maybe working together on the same floor. They really needed more people working the daycare with this sort of crowd... Benjy thought, looking around the place, still waiting to check in his nephew, Lupin.
He was going to have to go through papers and sign things? Gavin glanced down at his watch for what might have been the millionth time since he got in here. Now he was running late and it was a long walk up to his Level. To say he'd take the lifts would have been absurd. Not with the way they'd been shutting down on people since recently. "Alright..." He agreed, trying not to seem as reluctant as he actually was. As for giving written permission for someone else to pick them up, he couldn't see that happening. Ari wouldn't be stopping by the Ministry and he was perfectly capable of grabbing them in the evenings...even if he was a bit late. "How late do you run?" He needed to know if he'd have to leave his office to collect them then head back up.
Avery didn't let go of her Uncle's leg but she made sure to keep quiet after seeing him flick Ashley behind the ear. Silent protests worked better anyway and as a last resort, just clinging to his leg until she was back out that door.
"Ow." Ashley muttered, cupping her hand to her ear. "Wasn't gonna do anything." How could she when it didn't even seem like anyone was gonna answer her questions. A yes or no would have been great. Her eyes glided over to her sisters. If they kept this up, they weren't staying.
" as late as you run." she said in response to the man. "as long as you're in your office we'll be here in ours." she said with a beamy smile as he began to fill out the forms she laid in front of him, Good very good indeed.
" And who might you two be?" she said talking to the two girls he dragged in with him. " what are you two into, sure we can find something." how wold were they again? we're they into the dol thing or did she need more teen aged things going on in here?
"Everyone else doing alright?" she motioned to the other adults in the room talking amugst themselves, did they need help signing in or did they need to talk to her specifically? hmm?

In response to her shock, he simply gave his own rather sassy look...Anthony wasn't mad at the lack of recognition. He'd purposely hung back at orientation so it was his own fault.
For now, he was hanging back, simply observing...mentally taking a few notes here and there. They needed more people in the Daycare portion of this department. Until they had them, though...Well, he was the man in charge. He'd have to suffice.
Ahem, that is...if Ms. Athena didn't mine. She was a fire-cracker and mildly scary. Traits that were admirable in Anthony's very honest opinion.
Grinning at Ms. Smith, he went ahead and motioned to the group just behind Gavin, his fellow DH, indicating for them to approach. This couldn't be too hard. Also, he'd taken a closer look at the forms and they were going to be redone asap.
"I'll get you all signed in." Yes, come right up. Step this way...

Was he even close to getting out of this place? Something told him there'd be more paperwork. Right, because he didn't have enough of that up in his office. Gavin glanced down at his nieces, casually nicking Ashley's ear when she asked about dolls. Just a reminder she was meant to behave. He didn't want to walk back here at the end of the day to find a complaining Daycare Lady and a bunch of dolls rearranged.
Looking up again he spotted Victoria. He'd almost forgotten but the woman would be needing care for the twins. Even after all this time that word still sounded like torture. "I never thought I'd find me here either but Ari's good enough to get back to work and they've gone on break for the summer so...here I am." And a nod in the direction of the reception table. Any minute now he'd be able to leave. "This is the first time. Seeing how well it works out." Poor choice of words. It gave the girls hope that if they messed this up they wouldn't be brought back when in actuality, they had no choice. "How've you been doing?"
Victoria was waiting for the man that had asked her if she needed something to answer her request when she turned to Gavin for a moment. "Well that is very nice of you." She gave him a smile and turned her head to see others coming in and it seemed the lady working went to them as well to Gavin. "Well I guess we will both get to see this. " She was very anxious on whether or not the girls should come here.
As the man who she assumed might be in charge had still not answered her she waited longer. Watching closely as it seemed the others were being taken care of. Well.. if he was busy why did he ask if he could help her. She started to get a little impatient and when he said about signing the others in and it was clear the other lady wasn't going to help her she decided they really didn't want her business and now she wasn't sure if she really wanted them to take care of her girls. If they couldn't even acknowledge her even after asking her if she needed help who was to say they would actually take care of her daughters appropriately.
She turned to Gavin, "Well I think I found my answer in the lack of help. I hope you have a good experience here, but I don't think this is the place for the twins." She gave him a sweet smile, "See you soon Gavin Well hopefully at least and turned and headed out. She headed out of the daycare making a note to stop by her parents and make sure that offer was still available.

Eliza chuckled and gave the kid a smile before looking at her pseudo brother, "You need to cheer up and be happy... get some coffee or chocolate." Elizabeth tsked and put one hand on her hip and had the other arm, rocking her baby. She gave him a stern look, "How are you going to deal with sleepless nights if and when you do have a kid if you cant handle one sweet little kid?" She sighed and shook her head. Eliza smiled when the worker came. Elizabeth nudged Benjy ahead of them since he was obviously impatient. She then turned to the woman... whom she thought was called Emma. "I apologize for Benjy's behavior. He isnt normally this moody. He is just being a grumpy person today." Eliza gave Benjy a stern look then smiled at the lady. "Dont mind him though. He can be sweet when he is a good mood." Elizabeth nodded and then looked down at Lucas tugging on her. She reached down and picked him up, "You are getting too big for this dear..." Eliza gave him a smile, "But I will keep doing it until you get too heavy." Elizabeth gave him a sweet and loving smile then kissed his nose. She smiled and nodded as he help hold his brother so that it would be easier for her to hold them both. Eliza looked at the lady, "Arent children a delight?"

With a bit of a sigh, Benjy glanced at Eliza, giving her a nod. "He wouldn't go to sleep last night, and somehow, he still has too much energy." The redhead replied in a tired voice while Lupin perked up again now that someone was giving him attention. Benjy shrugged at Eliza's next comment. He'd get coffee in a little while, back up in the office. As for the comment about having his own kid, Benjy gave Eliza a look. "My kid would listen to me and not keep me up all night when he's almost 7 years old." Benjy said, looking at Lupin who pretended that he wasn't paying any attention.
Then he turned his attention back to the other MLE member, Emma. Shaking her hand, the redhead hit wizard smiled at her. "Pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Warren. I'll have to let Sky know that we've officially met." Benjy said, lightheartedly, or as lightheartedly as one could get having been up all night trying to get a little kid to go to bed.
But, alas, someone was ready to check them in. Seeing that the two ladies were going to let him go first, Benjy stepped up to the man, bringing Lupin off his shoulder and setting the 6 and 1/2 year old on his hip. "Hi... I'd like to check Lupin here into daycare. It's his first time here." Benjy said to the man in charge, not wasting any time.
