"Oh, please, it's Mariel," she said matching the other woman's smile. No need to be quite so formal here, not for such a casual meeting. She hesitated as she mentioned the incident and started to nod, then stopped as the woman continued and she looked at her a bit curiously. "Were you a Ravenclaw?" she finally said, giving Ms. Tanner a sort of appraising look just to see if she recognized her, then slowly grinned. She did love her Ravenclaws, even the ones she didn't actually know.. well, most of them. The woman looked to be about her age, though she could be a bit younger, but unfortunately she did not recognize her from school.
And this woman had heard of her. Mariel had to admit that she was slightly surprised, but pleasantly so. She wasn't sure there could be a better way to know her and her grin brightened considerably. "You heard about that?" People were actually talking about her after she was gone? She knew her name was on that trophy but she was rather elated that Ravenclaws would still know about that. Though she had heard they hadn't won the cup in some time since her departure. "Yes, we won the cup that year. It was an amazing game, my first time as Seeker," she said, reminiscing. "Though Keeper was always my favorite. That was what I played professionally, you know. But yes, I caught the winning snitch that secured the trophy for Ravenclaw." What an amazing team they had back then. Led by the fierce and brilliant Willow Kovac, Mariel wondered what she was up to now that she was retired from the Kestrals.
Oh, what were they talking about? Mariel could honestly talk about Quidditch all day but they weren't exactly there for that. Well, in a sense, but not necessarily to talk about her career. No, they had something of a meeting even if it wasn't official or formal. But.. elsewhere? Mariel paused, looking at Ms. Tanner curiously. "I do apologize. My conference room is still in a shambles." She would understand, hopefully. Most of the Ministry was in a state though this area seemed to be less affected than what she had seen of the others. But maybe that wasn't what the woman had meant? She looked from her pleading expression to glance at the trio not far from them. "Oh.. they're not troubling me.." She could do her work unaffected. She was professional. Though maybe that wasn't it with the look she was giving her. "Unless.. that's bothersome to you? We can go elsewhere.." She had immediately taken a liking to this woman and certainly wouldn't want her to feel uncomfortable.
Did she want to move? She didn’t need to leave, it wasn’t as if running into her ex after four year should have been such a problem for her. It had been four years – she just still felt awkward about the whole trying to bite his arm when she was sick…well before she had turned her attention to all things wood and wand related.
“Yes, yes I was a Ravenclaw I transferred in though, form Beauxbatons,” she admitted with a smile. “But of course I heard of it while I was a reserve on the team myself in my seventh year” she admitted still smiling.
Oh her conference room was still in shambles? No, that wasn’t a problem. None of this was a problem; still she was flushing from nerves. “No, not at all its fine” she admitted with a grimace. “I just” she paused before lowering her voice so only Mariel could hear her, “dated one of the people in this room” she admitted and felt her shoulders relax slightly. That was easier said than well, anything.

Quinn was currently sticking labels into her binder and drinking coffee. The coffee, surprisingly enough, made her hand calmer, so she could use her calligraphy pen (gasp, muggle object!) to write the different sections. She took another sip of her coffee before setting it far away to not spill on her art.

Furmgoat flew into the room, staying near the ceiling as his wings flapped lopsidedly. Circling for a few minutes, he spotted the recipient of this package and made to land. He flapped his wings slower to come to a stop on top of the table in front of Mariel Morgan. He blinked his eyes twice before offering his leg to be untied.

Mariel,
Just wanted to send you something to brighten up your office. I'll see you tonight at home.
Toothless - Napoleon of Crime - Gryffinclaw - Owl Emissary - Pirate Auror - DoctorDonna
Simon accepted the offered parchment, almost needing to see the details for himself before he could make the final judgment. He fought the urge to groan as he read, the details seeming too complete to be anyone but who his suspicions already lay with. One Mariel Morgan. Sure Jorge could have done it but that meant the DP through him was now infesting the Ministry and would be something to look into.
Security-wise of course.
The auror too heard the sound of laughter, something that had a tinge of familiarity. A familiarity that was explained as he paid attention and noticed Kyle sitting there off in the distance. Oh Merlin… And if that wasn’t enough, the bane of the article appeared soon after and Simon let out the groan he had been forcing down.
“Maybe I should be going…” he mused with a sigh, pushing back the chair to stand up again. He was, after all, not welcome near the department head. And his ex-girlfriend's presence just made it more awkward.
Did she want to move? She didn’t need to leave, it wasn’t as if running into her ex after four year should have been such a problem for her. It had been four years – she just still felt awkward about the whole trying to bite his arm when she was sick…well before she had turned her attention to all things wood and wand related.

Oh even better, Ms. Tanner had played on Ravenclaw's Quidditch team as well. Obviously a bit after Mariel had, but she was feeling something of a kinship with this woman. "I'm not sure that we were there at the same time.. but it's always nice to meet a fellow Ravenclaw," she said with a warm smile. "May I call you Kyleigh?" Ms. Tanner seemed a bit formal now, even if this was a business meeting, but she could go back to being cordial if the other woman preferred.
She watched her curiously a moment, wondering why she seemed so uncomfortable with their surroundings, and wondering if she should have taken a more formal approach with today's meeting when a movement caught her eye. An owl. Mariel froze, watching the bird circle near her. The last time she received an owl, it did not deliver her good news, so she was a bit on edge seeing another.. especially with a package. Merlin knew what that could be. And it did seem to be for her as it landed right in front of her. A brief look of apprehension flashed over her face before she quickly composed herself and reached for the letter tied to his leg. "This better not be another threat," she said pointedly to the owl before opening up the letter, green eyes scanning the words. She did not need any more drama.
Oh.. it was from her Jorge. A smile slowly fell over her features and she reached for the package. A hand quickly covered the gasp that escaped her mouth as she opened it. Such beautiful flowers.. "He's really just the most amazing man," she said aloud to the woman next to her, elated over the delivery as she beamed at the bouquet. He still could surprise her in the sweetest ways possible. Looking up at Ms. Tanner, she was still smiling brightly. "You should have seen what he did for my birthday.." Such an incredible boyfriend she had.
Her smile dimmed just a bit at the woman's confession. Oh.. no wonder she felt so awkward. Of course, Mariel didn't think it was something that would have really bothered her. As professional as she was, she could still conduct her business without letting personal feelings intrude, but she knew that wasn't easy for everyone. She quickly glanced in the direction of the three who had already been seated there before she had arrived, vaguely wondering which one she had meant. Possibly Simon as he appeared to be uncomfortable and to be leaving. Though she supposed her own presence could have caused that, which made her seriously want to roll her eyes, even if she didn't actually. So dramatic.. she could certainly do without seeing him around, but she could still do her job without having to run in the other direction.
"Well, it's up to you," she said finally, turning back to the woman. "It doesn't make me at all uncomfortable, but if it does you, we can speak on this somewhere else." She did want the woman to be able to speak freely on the issue, so if this was going to be a problem, then they could go. But she needed to make a decision on it because she didn't want to keep revisiting it. "We could go to my office if you'd rather. It's in better condition than the conference room and I do need to put my flowers away." Either way, they should get started, she didn't have all day.

Huh, the woman was using a muggle pen. Lawrence could recognize it by the many times he had used something like that during his muggle school years more than ten years ago. He did not really like anything muggle related.
"I'm sorry if I scared you." This was a mistake he made every single time. He really needed to fix it. "Cool, they do look really good, you know." Encouragement was always good. "But don't you have a job here in the ministry?" If it was him, Lawrence would gladly give up his hobby. "Oh, I'm Lawrence Lee from the Minister's Office." Did people hear the story of him blowing up the roof of the phone booth?
Bradley had sent his little fox patronus up to Sel. He was about to go on his break and really wanted some quality girlfriend time because they really hadn't seen each other much since Rome and the orientation just because well...work. Hopefully she wasn't too busy.
He wandered in and immediately claimed one of the comfy couches. Brad popped a squat. Now to sit and wait to see if his beautiful lovely girlfriend was able to meet him.

Being back at work after the holidays was... stressful. Spending time with her family in Ireland and visiting Rome with Brad had been great, but back to reality for now! Selene had received her boyfriend's message and thought that a break sounded like a good idea. She put her work down for a moment and made her way to the hangout, grabbing some coffee on her way over.
It wasn't difficult to spot Brad, he was sat on one of the couches...which looked really comfortable. Selene waved at him and hurried over. "Morning!" It was still morning, wasn't it? It felt like it should be nearing five o'clock, really.

Brad started to tap and fingers and hum while he waited. His eyes drifted over to where the caffeine was kept. He should have grabbed a cup before coming to sit down. Oh well. He could grab one on his way out to drink at the station.
He grinned like a dope when he saw Sel walking over. He took a quick look at his watch. "It's still before noon so morning." Big grin. Brad patted the seat on the couch next to him.

Selene stifled a yawn and took a sip from her coffee, was it time to go home yet? Shame. It wasn't even noon, yet. Selene smiled and sat down next to Brad, kissing his cheek as she did so. "In that case, I can use the break." It wasn't that her work was boring, quite the opposite. Today was just......not her day. She'd almost been late to a meeting and rushing wasn't her forte, not to mention that apparently she wasn't even halfway through the day. She was getting oooooooold.
Selene smiled at Brad, at least he could relate to the whole gross getting old thing. It wasn't even that long ago that he'd been worried about getting grey hairs. Was she at that stage too?!"Busy day?"

Brad was just all smiles. He really thought he would never have this kind of relationship with someone, yet here he was. He threw his arm over her shoulder, pulling her close to him. "Breaks are very important." He never took them everyday, which was probably not a very good thing.
"Kind of. Mostly going through paperwork and seeing what supplies we might be low on. Boring stuff." Adult boring stuff. But Brad was glad he'd decided to stay here. He loved his job and the people he worked with. It was worth not taking the risk of working at St. Mungo's. "You?"
SO. Ember had a few minutes to spare in between reading over some of her pesty-stuff and making fliers for FUTURE pest alerts and WHATNOT. So she decided to come down here and check out the FOOOOOOOOD COURT. Yum yum. Ember could eat all the time if she had the opportunity. She brought a snack with her EVERY day and enjoyed her little snack breaks she gave herself. Today she had brought mixed fruit in a little tin...but she had eaten it all and was left..snackless for the second half of the day! How horrible.
Only...Ember was suddenly distracted by the...BEEEEEEEAAAAAN BAGS! OMGOMGOMG. Ember dived into one, not caring that she was now twenty-two years old, at her job, and an adult. NOPE. She was a kid and she was rolling around in the bean bags and giggling and cackling away like mad. WAHOOOO. She slouched into one and got aaaallll comfy and just eyed everyone walking by and staring. Blue-haired employee here--don't mind her--JUST ENJOYING THE PLUSHY LOVELINESS OF THE BEANIEBAGS OKAY. The sloshy-slosh of the beanbags made her happy, though, and she never wanted to get up EVERRR. She would have to talk to Harmony about getting some for their floor. She was so sure that her head wouldn't care! She even wanted to start doing yoga classes--which WOULD happen, if Ember had ANYTHING to say about it!

Manolo had quickly gone down to the Leaky Cauldron and by quickly, he meant he apparated down there and was back here in no spared time! Merlin, being a wizard was the best thing ever! Poor Muggles, having to walk, tsk tsk. Anyways, he picked up some lunch to go and was heading up to the food court to flop on those beanbags that were like the comfiest thing to sit in after a long day of squatting and running.
What do you know? There's someone rolling about in the beanbags already and it's someone he knew! The 23 year-old stood over the extremely ecstatic woman, "Having fun?"

Ember didn't really notice Manolo until he was riiiiight in front of her. And she just giggled a whoooole and managed only this--"YUSSS!" before she rolllllled off of the bean-bag and popped up. "Hi, Manny!" she said in a friendly way. "Manny is all right, right? I think it's cute--you should be okay with it--" she said all of this rather quickly! And cheerfully. And with LOTS OF NODS. Her turquoise hair was all tousled down her back because she had been rolling around a lot but she didn't bother fixing it. Nope. All natural, WHOOH.
The young woman siiiighed and smiled over at her coworker. "How are things, hmm? " She asked him gently. "What do you do again? It was nice to see you at that Quidditch event, really! I was just wondering around hoping to see someone I knew--and there you were!" She bounced excitedly. "And that young man--Alec, I think? Was VERY nice! Everyone was nice! It was so FUN! AAANNND They have the most AMAZING cookies! Did you try a cookie?!" she asked, bouncing around some more and giggling a whole lot--
Well then. Ember realized she was being quite obnoxious and took THREEEE deep breaths to settle down. Right. RIGHT. Once she was not-as-excited-but-still-excited she started talking again. "Sorry. I like people. And talking." NODS ALL AROUND.

All the man saw was blur of blue and then boom! She was suddenly up and standing in front of him....and talking really, really fast. Awar did this when she had a boatload of sugar, so he was quite used to how to handle situations like this. Nod, nod. Mmhmm. Nod. THERE! OPEN SPACE TO RESPOND! "Hey, Ember." Mini wave plus smile and then a quick laugh because she was funny. "Haha, yes, Manny is fine. It's a first, so I'll accept it."
He was naturally going to tuck a lock of his hair behind his ear, but then he remembered IT WASN'T THERE. He tugged his beanie over his ears, sadly. This is the last time he'll listen to Cara. 'Look professional, Nolo.' Go and take care of your child or something, Cara, he's a grown man! Oh, right. He was talking to someone. "Everything's cool. How are things in your universe?" The man plopped himself down on one of the beanbags, placing his lunchbag on the ground beside him. "I handle Albino Bloodhounds and by handle I mean love them." GRIN. Bloodhounds for life, yo! He chuckled again, "It was nice to see you too, dear! Alec's a good friend of the family. My sister really wanted his autograph." Wait...THERE WERE COOKIES?? THERE WERE COOKIES AND HE WALKED STRAIGHT PASSED THEM? Excuse him for a minute while he contemplates his life. 3...2...1..."No, I didn't, shoot! I must've missed them." Don't show your broken heart, Manolo. Cookies will come if it was meant to be.
Ember was adorable. Adorkable, maybe? The former Ravenclaw ran a hand over his slightly stubbly face, laughing. "Yeah? I've noticed!" He joked, opening up his bag to grab a chip from the inside. "Want some?" He said looking up at her while she was still in calm mode. He walked straight passed the cookies, omg.

Ember clapped her hands together and BEAMED. "A first?! Well yay! I think it sounds cute but not TOO cute...so it's perfect." She nodded and crossed her arms over her chest. She was caaaaalm now. Collected now. She could CONCENTRATE now.
In her universe? She laughed a little. "We live in the same universe--but I guess my life is going well right now! My garden is good, my pets are good, my job is great, and I'm meeting up with some old Uni friends soon!" So she was definitely excited about that. She would be going back to Dublin for the weekend, whooh! She always loved visiting Ireland because she did miss it--though she didn't regret choosing to work closer to home, in London. Awww. The bloodhounds! "I would love them, too. I work with pests, and I still love them--" she said with a nod. She didn't want to take them home or anything buuuuut she did want them to be happy. She plopped down in one of the beanbags next to him.
"Ahhh okay. That's cool! I was just glad he was so nice. Being famous--you know what they say--" she shrugged and then giggled at his offer. "Sure, I'll take one--" she loved snacks, yeah? She took it and crunched it down, happily humming as she did so. "And yeah--you did but--hey--it;s okay! Maybe I'll bake some cookies tonight for the department tomorrow?" she asked, not wanting him to feel TOO bad about it! And Ember was a good baker! She loved baking! So she certainly didn't miiiiind one bit.

He laughed, "Agreed." A new nickname! Yay! He'd have to inform Awar, Cara, and Annalise. Annalise. Where was Annalise??? Always disappearing, that girl. Well, at least he had someone to talk to at work now, with Anna gone and Cara not at the Ministry anymore. Friend!
But, she has her own universe in their universe, y'know??? Mini Ember galaxy in the big wizard universe. Manolo galaxy is just a lightyear away if she ever wants to visit. What was he saying? Oh, yeah. "Uni friends, huh? That sounds like fun. Where did you go for school?" Despite the fact he was a full blown Ravenclaw with the love of learning always in his soul, going off to Uni was part of the plan, but then his mother disappeared on them and he had to watch after Awar. And why school when you can learn everything on your own if you really wanted to...right? "You can come and visit them anytime." The bloodhounds he meant.
Manolo reached in to take out his lunch and placed it between them. "Help yourself, by all means, I tend to over order." Teehee. The Blacks love food, okay. "I got Fish & Chips, but I also got a slice of Pixie Pizza, if you want that?" They were gonna feast toooday. "And a milkshake!" Griiiiiin. "If it's not too much trouble!" Cooookies! Manolo, how are you this thin and eat like a beast? No shame!

Ember looooved talking about her university. She had spent about TEN whole minutes yabbing on about the other day to Dmitry! She grinned and squished herself further down into the bean bag. "I went to school in Dublin...at a VERY small school just for magical creatures and plants." She nodded. "It was truly a wonderful experience, and I am SO glad that I got to go there--it wasn't nice or prestigious or anything, but I know that I got a good education for what I wanted to do." She nodded and looked all proud and stuff.
She looooved Dublin. Loved loved LOVED.
"I would love to!" she said about the bloodhounds. UGH. She wanted to seee them. "I bet they are just precious they are!" she said. But she thought everything was precious, didn't she? Except flobberworms. Oh she just could NOT think those things were cute, no NO. Ew. She did way too much with them for her garden..nope.
She beamed and took another chip. "Well--I ate lunch already--but I just LOVE snacks. I could munch on snacks all day--healthy, unhealthy, it doesn't matter!" Today she had brought fruit, keepin' it healthy, yeah? But tomorrow she apparently would be bringing cookies..hehe. "And I will definitely make some. Probably chocolate chip, though, because that dough is easiest to find, honestly." She nodded and chomped on some more of the chips, but she didn't want to eat them ALL okay? "I wish I had some snacks to offer you." It would like..sharing time and all fun snacks and stuff!

Dublin?? Wow, he's heard Ireland was beeeeeeeeeeautiful. He really wished he'd travel more. He's a wizard for Merlin's sake, he easily could! What's stopping him? He didn't know, but he's only ever been to cities near London and Spain when visiting his grandparents. "That sounds like fun! I'd really love to visit sometime." Maybe he'll take like a family trip with Awar and invite Cara and little Marilyn too. Maybe even Annalise if she comes back soon!
Precious, indeed! Manolo nodded, taking a bite of his lunch. They're like big, colorless, puppies when they're not on duty and when they are, professional animals doing their job.
Chocolate chip was his favorite! Awesome! Tomorrow seems something to look forward to now that cookies were involved. Oh, she ate already? Well, now she gets to witness him inhale his lunch. Whoops. Nom, nom, nom. He waved his hand around at her, "No, no. Don't worry about it! You're already making cookies and that's spectacular enough!"
Ember nodded excitedllllyyyyy! "Yes. Everyone should go at some point. It's lots of fun and beautiful--and Irish people--eeee! So cute." She crinkled her nose and remembered all of her very fiery Irish friends..with their cute accents..ugh! SO cute. "And it's not just Dublin--anywhere in Ireland is great..." she explained and wiggled her bum into the squiiiiishy seat somoe more and relaaaaaxed.
She would definitely be going to see those puppies. PUPPIES because all dogs melted into cuties when given the right...attention and whatnot!
The blue-haired woman dug around in her bag some more to look for SOME sort of candy or anything buuut...nothing. Ugh. She would just have to put extraaaaa love and stuff into those cookies for tomorrow! "Fine, fine. You know you can't have them ALL to yourself...I will be sharing with the whole floor?" she smirked because she wanted to see the look on his face...she was being playful, okaaay? Hehe. "I don't want anyone to feel...left out..." of course not! "Oh! What a way to promote unity within the department! What if once a week someone within our department had to bring a snack and we can all sit and share stories and talk about work!?" she cried, and she totally WANTED TO BRING THIS TO HARMONY OKAY UGH. IT was such a cute idea! SHE WANTED IT TO HAPPEN NOW.

More nodding. That Ireland trip will happen. Maybe he'd get some days off in the summer and go then. Yep! Sounds like a great idea to him. He'll have to build an itinerary off suggestions from Ember, of course.
Mehhhhhhhhhhhhh...sharing. Manolo chewed his food in silence for about 10 seconds and then finally swallowed, sighing. "Yeaaah, I knooow." He could already taste them! Aww, yees. Cooookies.
Ember's proposal was a very amazing idea! There were a lot of hardworkers in this department and all they did was work. This would be a great way to get more acquainted with everyone and not be so awkward at meetings and stuff. Gold star for Ember! "That's a brilliant idea! I like it!"

Ember smirked and sat up once more, kind of falling back but pulling herself up and STAYING up, and she nudged his leg with her foot. "Well now. Maybe I'll make a special baggy JUST for you, all right?" she winked at him. She DID like Manolo, he had been so nice to her thus far, and out of everyone in her department, she had spoken to HIM the most, so yes, she would be par to Manolo, hehe. "Maybe I'll make CHUNKY chocolate chip...oh yes..those sound marvelous yes..." she clapped her hands excitedly and took out a little notepad and scribbled down a reminder...wow. SHe had a LOT of reminders for today.
"Yiiikes--" she said aloud, looking at the first reminder, siiiighing. She then looked up and frowned. "I completely forgot--" she snapped her fingers in annoyance. "My kneazle needs some shots soon--and I--ugh--he's supposed to get them later today...BUT." She smiled once more. "I WILL make those cookies at all costs!" YES. It WOULD happen, okay? Hopefully the late-hour vet wouldn't take long, and if they did...well it looked like Ember might be staying up late? Which didn't happen often, but it DID happen sometimes!
Ooooh Em was so glad he liked it! She BEAMED. "We should go to Harmony with this idea! AND. Harmony also said she wanted to start a yoga club and I just--ugh! I think it would such a good idea! I love yoga! Have you ever tried yoga? Manolo--" she looked him up and down. "You would be good at yoga! You're in great shape!" She gave him a thumbs up and just nodded a bunch...
Yep. Ember loved making people feel...nice. And warm. And fuzzy. And great. And brilliant. Yep.

Oh by Merlin!!!!! He gets a special baaaag?! He was feeling very special, yes he was! "Awww, yeah? That's so nice of your, Ember!" Small hug for the very nice lady! CHUNKY CHOCOLATE CHIP. He's died and gone to heaven, he's sure of it. Very sure. Heaven's pretty rad. Chocolate chip heaven!
Oh kneazle emergency? That sounds important. Maybe he should stop stalling her and let her leave on her way? Yes? "Oh, do you have to leave?" Kneazles first, yo.
Manolo smiled at the little gesture Ember was giving. It was a lovely idea and SHE should definitely take it to Harmony because this was all her genius. He did not want to share the spotlight when it all belonged to her. The man felt somewhere between sheepish and smug after her compliment. "No, I haven't tried yoga. " He said, laughing. "I'm not flexible enough for it!" He can like barely touch his toes, y'know.
Ember just beamed. "I like being nice. And stuff." And baking. Baking was fun. "I just think chunky chocolate is better, you know?" she smirked and nodded. she gave him a hug RIGHT back and just giggggggled because Ember LOVED HUGS. "oooh be careful! If you hug me once--I might just hug you all the time--" She was a hugger! A big hugger. A big BEAR hugger. But right now she was all--soft--with her hugging of Manolo. Couldn't scare away new blood. Heheheh.
The young woman just shook her head, though, and sighed. "It's not an emergency...he just has an appointment when I get off in a little while. He just needs to get some routine shots and potions and stuff." She said with a shrug. "He'll HATE me tonight and probably not sleep in my bed but--he'll get over it tomorrow--" she chuckled and just roooooolled her eyes. Her kneazle could be such a drama-king sometimes, for real. "Do you have any pets, Mannny?" she asked curiously, slouching back in the bag again and giggle like mad.
She just siiiiighed. "You don't have to be flexible! It's all about letting go of your surroundings and just...relaxing...and meditating..." she even somewhat demonstrated--sliding off of the bean-bag and onto the floor, and got into a simple lotus-position and closed her eyes and emptied her thoughts...and she even stayed perfectly still, breathing in and out in even integrals for a few seconds before opening her eyes and leaning her back against the bag and laughing. "See? I didn't even do anything flexible--it's all about the breathing." Somewhat. Some. What.

Chunky chocolate IS better! "Waaaay better." Nod, nod. Tomorrow needed come faster! Manolo laughed, squeezing her gently when she hugged back. "Oh, yeah? Are you a serial hugger?" LOL. He made a funny. Seriously though. Hugs are awesome.
The man practically inhaled the rest of his lunch as he listened to her talk about her kneazle. "Awww, how cute. A mad little kneazle." He said, his mouth still somewhat full. MANNERS, MANOLO! He nodded, sipping his drink a bit before talking, "I currently have a puppy at home named Fluffles, an owl that I had at my time at Hogwarts, who still roams around, named Viva, and my sister's owl named Pegasus, Peggy for short." Sip, sip. "I used to have a cat named Shadow, but he passed away." Poor fellow was in the family for ages, but age caught up to the sweet creature.
He was kind of dumbfounded as his coworker suddenly slid off the bean bag into a position. Was she sleeping? Manolo had this urge to poke her face to see if she actually was, but her eyes flew open before he could. He stared at her for a few seconds. "This is...yoga?" He could of sworn yoga was like balancing on your nose and stuff. He could definitely do this.
