Having moved onto the other side of Level 4, Simon left the Creatures department with nothing more than a brief sighting of the troublesome creature. The auror had been mightly careful around the cage, in no desire to go near it nor risk its escape once more. Now he sought out the head of the Environmental department and after knocked on the door of her office, the young man had been pointed in the directions of the greenhouses by a helpful employee. That said and done, SImon made his way in the direction he had been shown, keeping his eyes peeled still as he moved to get a first glanced of the area that he was coming through.
Finally reaching the sliding doors, he used the spell told to him and stepped tentatively inside. Simon was aware he technically needed permissions by the very person he sought within the greenhouse's depths. "Roxanne...Miss Carter?" Simon called out, going from the familiarness of a former collegue to the formality of her rank as department head just to cover his bases.

Yep, upon closer inspection, there was indeed bite marks on the less active plant. Roxanne was about to inspect the rest of the plants when she heard her name being called. She turned to see who it was. "Roxanne's fine," she replied kindly to her former fellow MLEer. "Do you know what's been going on around here while I've been gone. I mean, I've tons of rumors, but...." The mutants couldn't have really gotten lose, could they? Surely Creatures would've kept them in cages with someone watching them, right?

The woman in question turning to Simon as she heard his call and acknowledged his presence. The auror took that as permission to enter the greenhouses further and he made his way carefully towards where her voice was coming from. "Just what I was told by Harmony," he said as he came up beside her. " The escape of one or possibly more mutants from the creatures area. The one that was found in her office has been recaught."
Had it gotten into the greenhouse?
"Plus the rumors of activity elsewhere you speak of as well as other issues throughout the ministry." He wasn't aware of when she had been gone or returned exactly and what exactly she had missed of the various passages of information around the levels. It was beginning to get a little confusing himself.

What a thing to come back to, then.
"If these bite marks are anything to go by, it got in here too." But how? She kept her department locked up as tight as Fort Knox! "I guess you're investigating rather it was on purpose or just an accident?" Or was there something else? Something more MLE related like they hate Emily and want her hopefully?

Yeah, he had to agree there. Which meant that the creature had done more damage then just the department head's office. And also meant that there was the slim chance the mutant or mutants could have left other surprises of it got further than they already noticed. Maybe not lift issues but other things. Simon would still be keeping an eye on his already long list of things to look out for.
"Uh huh," he answered. "Not naturally assuming all that's been going on are merely coincidences." Too many were adding up. "Have you or your employees noticed anything else besides bite marks that seems off around here?"
