Edward wandered up to Level 1. He felt like he wanted a hot pocket. He liked hot pockets. He was whistling as he rounded the doorway and headed in. He was thinking about the microwave and reading the heating instructions when he bumped into a table. He looked up hurriedly, ready to apologize when he noticed something kind of odd. It looked like a waiting room. He turned around and was ready to leave...

People were enough to make Erin feel slightly uneasy and cautious, but doctors..they were a whole lot worse. Again it wasn't a phobia of them, it was just the awkwardness and the jump off her comfort zone when it came to examining and health checks. They'd want to feel your forehead then see your throat, then this, then that and it was all just far from anything relaxing.

Yet work was work and she'd do it for that because her work was her passion. It was that, that had the brunette enter the newly transformed technology center. She was aghast at how different it looked and just slightly more anxious than before too.

This was going to be like a usual doctor visit by the looks of it...or was it? Would it be worse or better?

...She was hoping for the latter.

Ravaora took a device and pressed it to his neck. "Normal heart rate..." Her hand smacked lightly against his cheek next. "Rough texture..."

Oh yes, she saw, she saw very clearly and it was no wonder she hadn't picked it up earlier. The Healer circled him once, given him another once over before, "How do you feel about clowns?--I need you to tell me a joke, Sir." Yes, got on it. Make her laugh, prove her wrong.

Or perhaps prove her right, there was an injection for everything afterall.
The door shut behind him with a slam, making him well aware of the closed-off feeling he now had. Simon just hoped that it didn't lean towards the bad like one being surrounded by an enemy. As an auror he was sensative to his surroundings in case of trouble. Like the device pressed to his neck, thankfully explained as something to measure blood pressure by the healer's own comment. At the smack, his own hand raised somewhat in reaction on instinct, lowering as she commented on his skin texture. Not like he gave too much attention to his skin, especially on his face, other then his usual shave.

It was as the healer circled him that his hackles were inwardly elevated, feeling somewhat like prey being inspected. And the question...Clowns? "Um...they're okay." Simon had nothing against them. Not that he dealt with them often. As for the joke, the auror looked slightly confused. "Hmm...what kind of joke would you like?" he asked, trying to think of one to give in answer to her request. Maybe something he remembered from a conversation with Josh.

"How about...Why is a snitch called a snitch?"

Ravaora wracked her mind, trying to remember if this was contagious but of course it couldn't be or she would have been scratching too by now. The healer wagged her finger in reprimand. "Don't scratch it, Love, you'll only infect the area further." Then they would be in some serious trouble. Didn't want that, right?

She noted the disoriented look of the woman, like she was looking for something but there was nothing to be sought in this room. Sigh. It truly was setting in, wasn't it-- hdsfkvjf and that rambling she was doing!! Nevermind it had only been one question, it was one question too many!!!

"There is nothing wrong with your face that we cannot fix." Such a trooper she was, denying the inevitable in the face of death. It was almost sad. Tragic really. "But things are most certainly not alright. You have acute Pruritusism, confudosis and the beginnings of what can only be classified as Loquentes Ieiuniumtis categorized by scratching, disorientation and rambling respectively--NOT TO WORRY, we've seen worse cases." Ravaora reached for her clipboard and made a few jottings then thwacked a blue sticky post it on her forward followed by a purple. "There, now you can begin receiving the adequate help you need." Weren't colours FUN? "Any questions before you go?"
...

Had she just...had that woman just wagged her finger at her? Alysson wasn't a child. Though she didn't have much time to be taken aback by that, seeing as the next things she said made her forget everything else. INFECT. "I'm not scratching it. It just felt a bit...warm after you touched it." So she'd wanted to make sure her cheek was still okay. Was there something on it??? "I'm sorry, do you maybe have a mirror I could borrow?" Because she couldn't find one and was starting to get REALLY worried about her face.

And apparently there WAS something wrong with it. It was fixable though. Apparently.

"..."

Alysson just stared. And tried to stay calm. But having somebody tell you that you had a number of illnesses just made you feel anxious. No matter if you didn't feel ill before. If an authority figure tells you you're ill you're ill. Period. Not that she wasn't still questioning the woman's judgement. "Are you sure?" She tilted her head slightly, trying to sneak a peek at the clipboard without the Healer noticing.

Wait...she could leave? "How do you suggest we treat...this?" Was she supposed to take potions? Could she maybe ask another healer for a second opinion first?

Oh, there was his boss! Hi boss! Sherman perked up and WAVED.

Wait... Mr. Cresswell? Another Department Head? But he hadn't even worn his GOOD tie today.

The elderly man's attention had been completely focused on his superior, and he'd not even noticed that the healer lady had been observing him until she grabbed onto the handles of his seat. Um..... why was she....? Gravely ill? Death's door? Err.... what was...?

"Where am I going?" Where was she TAKING him? Sherman's eyes widened to the size of saucers. "I... I can walk, ma'am! With a cane! I... I have a cane!" It was right there, sticking out of the compartment that held it in the back of his wheelchair.

Was this woman sane? Aron. SAVE him. Merlin.

Anthony was rather fed up. Could you TELL he was fed up? Because MERLIN, he WAS FED UP!

Prepared to do battle with this woman, again...the term was used loosely, the Department Head stalked forward, pulling his wand. If they wanted to make something of it, they could take it up with the Minister himself. Mr. Sherman Clark suffered from old age. Not....whatever they'd said.

Merlin, they didn't even sound like legit illnesses.

...but they were already disappearing into a room. He took a moment...and a few breathes to compose himself. It was true. These Healers had the ability to drive one to insanity.

SPOILER!!: Jose!

"It's going to be very straight forward. I'm going to do some vital checks...and then you'll be free to go." Nope, he wasn't subjecting people to whatever else. He had started to...but no. Not now. Too fed up. The Department Head wanted to be DONE here so he could attend to other business on his level. There were contracts he'd been meant to work on today.

There was simply NO TIME for this ridiculousness.

Anthony went ahead and slipped on some latex gloves. "Just get comfortable, Mr. Mora. I'll be quick."...and he could make up things for his file. That was Anthony's current level of caring. Zero.

So tense, he seemed and she already had a few conclusions she'd drawn on. Just needed him alone in a room with a couple prodding equipment and the truth would be uncovered in no time.

"Right this way if you will." But really he had no choice.

Wait, what?!

"Excuse me, but I respectfully decline." He'd been in this same room with THAT woman for hours now. He had no doubts she was certifiable...and tackling people, hitting them in the head...Ahem. NOT for him, thank you very much!

Yes, Anthony refused to die that way. There was still so much to see...

"I'll just get back to work..." Yep...just going to get right on that...

But if they thought she was giving a pee sample, OH HELL THEY WERE GOING TO BE PUNCHED SO HARD THEIR ANCESTORS WOULD FEEL IT. She had THINGS to be doing. LISTS TO BE EDITING. She was perfect, thank you very much.

Princess Aurora Eliora was in perfect health.

And she definitely thought the males around here were FIIIIIIIIIINE. (Fine specimen, that was)

"Name and department?" Quickly...before you get snatched up by Nutter #1 and Nutter #2 over there.

...and WHY was that Epitaph guy down here? What was the purpose of THREE St. Mungo's Healers in one place? Was Bradley okay?

Merlin, could the employees SEE the utter panic in his eyes?!

If she had to guess, the young woman was a conspiracy theorist with the idea everyone in this room was infected and she was next. "You don't have to worry. I'm on YOUR side." The Healer whispered loudly, her hands cupped around her mouth and her tone slow as if the girl were either hard of hearing or hard of understanding. Had to get the message out.

"I'll need you to come with me. I can save you from the death chamber if you hurry." Otherwise Ravaora would dutifully turn out for the funeral. Once you met someone you couldn't just NOT attend, it was rude. [b]"Do you need a hand getting up?

Ah hah! Trick question! Bet she never saw that one coming.
Genevieve watched the Healer person approach, rising half out of her reclined position languidly when the woman was close enough to speak to her. Might as well be polite, even if she was in perfect physical condition. Healthy as an ox. Sound as... a brick wall, really. Very sound.

"I'm on your side," Genevieve agreed with a careful nod. Whatever side, she was on it. Anything not to get that big old needle that poor Vic had been forced to face. "But... I can hear just fine." Enunciated slowly back, in case the old dear was confused.

And since she was instructed to do so, she bounced to her feet and stretched like a cat. "Death chamber? Never been there. D'you suppose they serve tea?" She'd rather like a spot of tea if she was going to die soon.

She'd seen a few like that since morning. This place got more tragic by the hour.

"So many.....so.....many....." DISEASES. She turned to Loranys. "Have you told him he's dying as yet?" Because that was HER job best friend or not. Eyes still wide, she turned to the obviously disoriented--or delusional if he was asking for help when help was RIGHT HERE--man. Ravaora placed her hand to his face and sighed deeply. "If it's the last thing I do. You will LIVE! Living is what we DO, OKAY??"

She just needed to get him to the room and he would be properly taken care of, him and all his lovely muscle. Oh yes, this one was nice, he would have to live for sure. "Do you mind giving a watch for me?" She asked as she prepared to leave. No time to waste!

"Ooooooooooooooooooh my Meeeeeeeeeeeerlin, you fear that as well?" she gasped, both hands over her chest and hair looking especially frizzy. Only, unlike her bestie, Loranys had a better bedside manner and didn't outright tell her patients they were dying. "Oh PLEASE, you have to, you just have to. I know this is AWFULLY unprofessional...but I just KNOW. You know? YOU KNOW!" And of course her bestie would KNOW what she was talking about. "I am sure I brought some of my potions for the more extreme cases along with us. Use whatever you think is necessary."

HEAL HIM!

"I need to go to the other examination point, but DON'T hesitate to contact me if things take a turn for the worst!"

Because she would totally be able to find someone to perform the wedding ceremony before he passed. Then she could be Mirs Loranys Lobelia McHotter.

Oh for the love of--- THERE WERE MORE OF THEM?!?! MORE nutters like Lorcrazyeyes?!!!

And he STILL couldn't breathe properly through all the gauze around his head now. SOMEBODY. HELP. HIM. PLEASE. He didn't need to be STRAPPED DOWN. .... Okay. So he was going on the list.

She was definitely expanding it past her own department. Sorry to Rusty-with-the-behind and Boss-pirate-fairy-bore. They just probably wouldn't be on top much longer. Twisting some hair around her finger, Eliora managed her best smile in this time of crisis. (Crisis being that this was more boring than watching paint dry. Was there wet paint around here anywherE? Please?) "Eliora Dodderidge. Accidents and Catastrophes." 25. Single parent to a little princess and a dog.

Perfectly perfect.

Why was she holding his hands and looking at him like that and saying THAT? "Whoa, whoa, lady!" he said taking a step back. "I'm fine really--wait!" She was already marching away.

Kennedy followed.

"Wait, is this for some life insurance thing?" Was he being scammed here?

Sigh. Evals. SIGH.

The mere thought made Bryce squirm as he made his way towards the Technology Lounge. It wasn't exactly the Healers -- he didn't care much for them -- it was the needles. The thought of being injected with one of those made his skin crawl and if someone was going to pull one out on him, he was running out of he place before they could say 'St. Mungo's'.

So keep those away and they were good. Keep any dummies away too--

............. He had no words. No words for this place. None.

If he didn't know any better, he'd have thought that he had stepped into St Mungo's itself. Hazel eyes took in the room, a mildly incredulous look spreading acros his face. There were going to be scalpels and needles as Merlin knows what other kind of sharp objects you'd normally find in a hospital. No. Just...... no.

"Bryce Howell. Environmental Department Head." Let's get this over and done with? He had things to do and there was a delicious looking doughnut in a box in his bag that had his name on it.

Jasmine was walking with the healer. She was nervous and hoped she was gonna pass this exam. She was normal and in full health. Her palms were sweating with nerves. She didn't want to come off as having a fever or anything. Uh oh...the door closed! Her heart was beating fast and she took a seat. She was fidgeting with her hands. It was something she did when she was nervous and out of place. I mean this stranger was examining her. She had a right to be nervous.

She heard the first question and cleared her throat, "Ermm I have worked here for year...So not that long" She still felt like a newbie after all but she knew around the Environmental department more than everyone else.

Someone. Get. Her. OFF. Immediately preceeding her actions Gavin began tugging against her hold. "Let me go. Get off. I can walk on my own. Touching. No. Kindly remove your hand." She was TOO close for comfort and he didn't like the look in her eye any more than that other one that had poor William on a stretcher. Was she still holding on?? "Coffee. I've had coffee and a croissant." LET GO!
"OOOOOOOOOOOOOH MY MEEEEEEEEEERLIN. YOU POOOOOOOR THING!" she gasped as she continued to guide him towards his destiny with her. He needed a potion for that twitch of his. And just how tense his muscles were. OOOOOOOOH but they WERE niiiiiice. Oh she could just rub her face up against his firm arm all day.

Okay...so maybe just once.

PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

She hadn't, OF COURSE, forgotten about Hottie McHotter, but she had to be sure he was going to survive before the put all her dirt in one jar with him. Best to spread her dirt into a few jars and then she could have her pick of the litter!

Let's not even get started on his hesitancy for human contact! Oh, that was another potion she would need to administer to him immediately. But she did let go a few moments later. Let go and both hands HIGH up in the air with SPIRIT FINGERS as her jaw dropped to the floor. "COFFEE AND A CROISSANT?!" she shrieked. "Oh no no no, that is FAR from a nutritional meal. No WONDER you are suffering from O.O.P.S. Over HALF the calories in a croissant are from FAT. BUTTER! OH no no NOOOOOOOOo you MUST have one of my Vegan Witch's Brew potions IMMEDIATELY." She instructed as she pulled a bottle off one of the nearby tables, one that was an eerie green colour, removed the stopper, and thrust it at him. "I insist. You need a balanced diet to handle your stress most effectively!"

That's all this place really was.

Better start out simple, speak slow enough so her brain could keep up. "Can you tell me what year the Mole People invaded New York City?" With the confused, you always needed to know how aware they were of current affairs. Perhaps the damage was not nearly as extensive. "And who is the current Minister for Magic....in Czechoslovakia?" Hmmmmm?

While she questioned, she prodded lightly at her arms, her face, her stomach. Just checking for nervous system responses, don't mind us.
Mole People. New York City. The Minister of Magic in... Czechoslovakia? Ronnie's eyes widened slightly and she looked to the floor, her mind racing for an answer to these questions. Was this a test? Was she really going mad? Should she know the answers to these questio-

But then the woman was poking at her. Her arms, face, and stomach. Which almost made her start giggling, but she forced herself not to. Figuring this was a... normal thing, she let the woman go about poking her while she tried to answer the questions in her head. "I'm afraid I-I don't know." she finally said after a while of racking her brain, which nearly had given her a headache. Merlin's beard, she didn't know this whole thing would cause stress on her! She thought it'd be simple and quick since she knew for a fact she was perfectly fine. But after what this woman was saying and asking her, perhaps Ronnie wasn't fine.

She was just about to clip clop her way out of the room when Heart Throb McGav entered. She could TOTALLY afford a few more minutes here. Besides, she would need a backup in case Hottie McHotter didn't make it out.

You know things were nothing but serious when Loranys began yelling and nevermind she was usually loud, things were usually bad. In this world people were dropping dead like flies. Pardon her best friend for actually being able to understand this. "Yes, just look at his eyes and the faint movements. How long has he been paralyzed?" Still not noticing the straps. So complacent, death tended to do that to you.

She would take care of him.

Wait, know? OHHHH!!! KNOW!! "I DO! I DO KNOW! YES! This must be done, fear not Loranys I'll be picking up my gown and taking up the maid of honour spot by the weekend!" SHE KNEW! Knowing was important. What was this unprofessional to which she spoke? True love was happening!

And she brought some potion! "Brilliant! I feared I was running out! Do you KNOW how many people have needed shots??" None that sat still to take them but that wasn't the important part.

SPOILER!!: Tiffany

Anyways, why does she where them? At first, the younger woman raised an inquisitive brow, but then carefully followed the woman's stare to her feet. Her heels!? FINALLY someone noticed. "Don't you just looooooove them?!?!" Of course they weren't even in stock yet. She knew some people who knew some people who knew people, who had connections. "I know they're not practical and they do make my feet ache a bit, but beauty is pain, right?" She also added a dramatic wink here because it was like THE rule of feminism.

........ -_____-

This situation?? But she hadn't even answered properly. What was this- so to speak- situation? Could someone please let her in on this much? How serious this is? "Um... You are, like, qualified for this, right?" Because uh she didn't need some random person evaluating her. Even if it was just a routine checkup, which again wasn't really answered. Just as she opened her mouth to answer-- she abruptly moved back and looked at the woman for a moment in complete shock. What. The. Heck.

FLICKING?! First off that was her PRECIOUS FACE, HELLOOOO. "Uhm, ex-cuh-use me? What was that for??" They weren't soft flicks either, honey. Tiffany slowly raised her hand up to touch the spot on her head. Was it bleeding? Had the woman left a hideous mark?

OOooOOOOOOoooOo

Easily excitable...."Rambling...." Ravaora noted, taking to her clipboard to get this written down. Don't mind her while she observed, she was only taking notes to make Miss Pryce healthier. "Loquentes Ieiuniumtis, no doubt about it, can't be anything else. The stress, it's obviously caused a bout of verbal diarrhea." Now where did she put that syringe? Open and closed case this one.

But then the questions that spewed out as a result of the condition. These were a different case entirely......ah yes, yesss, she saw it now and it was just as tragic if not a little more deadly. "Trelawnitis as well--tell me, how long ago did you stop trusting people?? You must not lose faith in the word, Love."

Not to mention the slow hand movement. Of course. "Impaired motor skills. It only confirms it." No doubts in this Healer's mind.

Lawrence inhaled deeply, but before he exhaled he heard about - worse cases than his? Have him fixed? Pinpoint what's wrong? Merlin. He stood where he was for a moment. These people were crazy, and it seemed that the other employees felt the same. But what could he do? It was best to do as he was told.

"Fine," he said. Not enjoying this situation at all, he followed the healer into the other room. He remained standing, his green eyes wandering around as he took in his surroundings. Lawrence was muttering "I love my job, I love my job.." over and over again in his brain. "What do you want me to do?" He asked.

That noisy clock on the wall was being annoying. Why was everything here so crazy?

Ehhhhhhhhh?? o_O

Ravaora moved as close to the man as she possibly could. That muttering thing he was doing....was it a long term habit or...something contracted once he got here? Stupid question, this was the place of evil. He got it here. That was the only option.

"I need you to tell me the last time you had a vacation. Clearly you're too stressed for your line of work." Could it be? O.O.P.S maybe but she would hold that verdict just a little longer.

Before he could do anything, the woman was pumping at his chest and MERLIN, SHE WAS GOING TO KILL HIM. "O-- OW!" The man didn't mean to be that loud, or make any noise at all, but it was IMPOSSIBLE because that Healer was about to break his ribs! "S-s-top!" Merlin, he couldn't even pronounce words anymore. And he was still dizzy and now going out of breath because-

WAS THAT EVEN RIGHT?? HE WAS ALIVE, FOR MERLIN'S SAKE. That thing was meant to be done to people whose hearts had-- AAHH, HE COULDN'T BREATHE PROPERLY ANYMORE!

Maybe she'd save Derek. And properly do CPR. Maybe.

GOOD MERLIN he was losing vocal function!! HAD HE LOST THE ABILITY TO SPEAK??? Without ceasing her pumping she looked the overly excited man in the eyes. "Speak to ME! Are you still with me??

That was it? They were just okay? That hardly inspired confidence in the Healer and her tsking said as much. "Limited sense of humour." She muttered. Not liking clowns well PFFFT to you Sir, they probably didn't like you either. It was a tough life for the painted faces amongst them and people like him did nothing to make it better. FOR SHAME.

Her sharp eyes fixed on him. Was he asking questions at a time like this? She asked for a joke, not an interrogation. This one was Law Enforcement. It figured everything was an investigation. "Easily confused...asking questions when asked for jokes...." More muttering to herself really while she continued to jot, but sure, she'd throw him a bone.

"Why is it, Mr. Bennett?" If she wasn't laughing within the next five minutes she was smacking some green sticky notes on this one's head too

A mirror? As it so happened, Ravaora DID have a mirror. "Hold that thought." Crossing the room, the rummaged around in her bag for a minute then pulled up a small palm mirror. "You have have a look for yourself." And as casual as anything else in the world she reached over and gave the woman a nice smack to the cheek and a pinch. There, nice and rosie and full of colour again. Here you go, Love.

"Well why wouldn't I be sure? I've seen these signs and symptoms before. Luckily you aren't the worst I've seen and you could certainly be worse but we're here to make sure that never happens." BEEEEAAAMMMM. Merlin, saving lives was such a fulfilling career. She could see herself doing this the rest of her life.

As for suggestions..."That's the best part! Remember the reformation I spoke of earlier? We'll be running several little seminars to get everyone back on the right track. You will need to attend if you want these symptoms brought under control and I can have something prescribed. Now then, please leave so I can save someone else from the greedy clutches of death." ^___^

Could it be? The first cooperative soul all morning?? "Oh myyyyyy, I do like the sound of that." It didn't seem like anyone in this place was on their side, despite how much they were here to HELP SAVE BLOODY LIVES. How hard was it to understand they were all dying?? Surely it wasn't so difficult they couldn't wrap their minds around it.

Only..."Why are you talking like that, Love?" That slow, well enunciated method of speech? Was it possible she suffered the same speech defect as the person who'd swung by earlier? "How long has that condition persisted? I'll need you to come with me." Again, she must have ben speaking too quickly. Gah, Ravaora when will you learn. To atone for her insensitivity she made gesturing motions that surely the young woman would understand.

While she walked she made other little jottings and notes. "Nonsensical speech and a welcoming feel of death..." Mhm. Clearly a whack job. The 10th they'd have all day, yet so cooperative. The Healer feared she wouldn't even need her trusty needle this time around.

She was determined to label him with whatever O.O.P.S. was and ... get him a seeing crup? Remove his eyes? Replace them with sanitized golf balls? WHAT?!

"I want a second opinion," Tancred told her, right after she finally let go of his face and started going on about how he had been playing with death. Working with dragons was dangerous, but death wasn't a guarantee. And he could see just fine! "Preferably from a Ministry healer."

There was no way he was going to follow her. Even if someone paid him a large amount of galleons, he would never in a million years follow the healer. Tancred was determined to keep her as far away from his eyes as he possibly could. In fact, he was about to turn around and leave the technology centre. But then he saw a very familiar face be brought in on a stretcher.

"Merlin's beard!" he exclaimed, dashing over to his friend. "What the bloody hell have they done to you, Willy?" The man was his usual self earlier this morning, and now he was in a stretcher with two healers acting like he was on the verge of death. Rubbish.

When the one healer wandered off, he gave his friend a 'don't worry' look. He was going to get the both of them out of this nuthouse. Somehow.

If he were really dying, then what were the straps for, huh? Weak and dying people didn't fight back!

Willy's fingers started to twitch for his wand. Maybe if he bent his wrist juuuust right, he could trigger the wrist holster....

WAIT! A glint of light in this dark, dark tunnel! Tancred was here! Willy looked up at his friend and coworker through wide, but OBVIOUSLY ALERT AND FINE brown eyes. The pleading look in his eyes said it all, honestly, but Willy accentuated his need to get out of here with some rattling of the straps around him and more muffled groans:

"Mhmhmffor BROOWNISFFWWCJOHKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!"

Translation: She caught me eating a brownie!!!!!!

Honestly she wished this one would stop trying to assure himself that he was fine. Evidently he was not or he would not be needing a seeing crup but NO he wasn't thinking about that, too busy asking for a second opinion. "I have NEVER been more OFFENDED in ALL MY LIFE." She informed him, eyes bright with something...something but what?

"Second opinion--oh...oh oh oh...." OooOoOOoo truthfully she should have seen this coming, Overwhelming Overtiredness Patient Syndrome wasn't the only thing this one was suffering from. His lack of trust made it all so clear. "Trelawnitis. There's no mistaking it. The lack of trust, the denial, everything is there." They had come prepared for such cases as well ah but there he went worrying about another patient in HER care.

"We have this under control. I will not be letting Loranys' husband to be die on my watch, you have nothing to fea--"

Hang on....the incoherent speech...the twitching even if it was to get his wand and all that rattling from side to side that she wouldn't admit was a method os escape. "HE'S HAVING A SEIZURE!! This is all YOUR fault." She flared at the first man. "You frightened him!" Immediately she pulled a syringe from her coat pocket and jabbed him with it.

There. Oh wait. Wait. Hold the snitch. What did that one do again?

Why was she holding his hands and looking at him like that and saying THAT? "Whoa, whoa, lady!" he said taking a step back. "I'm fine really--wait!" She was already marching away.

Kennedy followed.

"Wait, is this for some life insurance thing?" Was he being scammed here?

Disjointed speech. Hmmm. Very curious. Where had she seen this before? Possibly in someone from earlier which meant she clearly had ways of dealing with it and they could get to that the moment they were in the room and the proper exams could begin.

"Limited vocabulary." She commented idly, as if she'd just told him what colour his own hair was. "Obviously comes and goes but for how much longer?" Always that question. How much longer indeed.

Highly suspicious as well. It must have come with the job. The stresses of Law Enforcement could get to anyone and this was much like his companion was crumbling under the weight. "Insurance? Are you being haggard? You've been told before that you're dying, haven't you?" How did one live with SUCH STRAIN??

Department Head? SHE WAS ON IT!!

"Ravaora Silverkin, Love, I'm here to save your possibly bleak and meaningless life and show you the joy of living once more. If you'd just come with me we can have you checked and injected and released in no time." Granted she didn't know whether or not she'd actually NEED her trusty syringe but heh, that hadn't stopped her today, just ask any of her other patients.

Without waiting for his consent, Ravaora grabbed hold and began tugging. These got priority and his face got him extra priority. Why did the pretty die young??

Not THIS one! Not if she had anything to do about it and him...and that other one...and Loranys' future husband....and the one with a heart attack. The Ministry was a gold mine.

The fidgeting was nothing if not a tell tale sign and Ravaora was already scribbling. "Are you uncomfortable? Is the seat not comfy enough? WHY ARE YOU SCRATCHING?" She was scratching because the Healer said so and the woman didn't have eyes like Ravaora so what would she know.

"A year's a long time. It's AGGGGEEESS and a wonder you haven't dropped dead in the mean time with everything going on." Weren't they all walking miracles? Defying the odds in ways she never thought they would. It was impressive and a little scary to think about as well.

"It must be the nerves. Fear of returning to poor working conditions."

What did she MEAN she didn't know??? Ravaora's eyes widened to an astonishing level and the word panic could be seen across her face if someone looked hard enough. "Oh no oh no oh no. Tragic! Worst than even I had imagined. You don't KNOW?? No no no!" She might have been the first confirmed case and what's worse...

No. Reactions.

"Limited to no reaction to stimulus." She commented as her poking and prodding came to an end. Sweet Merlin, this one was messed up in all the ways. Something...needed to be done....

This was not happening, this was not happening, THIS WAS ACTUALLY HAPPENING. MERLIN, WHY HIM??

Derek tried pushing the healer's hands away but she was pumping at his chest with such force - and he was still dizzy and not breathing properly - that he could barely move his arms. Also, awkward position too. But she was KILLING HIM!!

Someone else seemed to be intervening and said something about giving him a heart attack. NO, HE COULDN'T HAVE A HEART ATT-- Merlin, help him, PLEASE HELP HIM. Derek moved his hands randomly and tried to make the healer get away from him, but he was feeling sick again and the woman was way too loud and he couldn't even think that well anymore because THIS WAS JUST HORRIBLE.

The woman told him to slow his breathing. THAT was what he was trying to do since he got there!!!! "CAN'T!" The lab technician yelped in between pumps. They had gotten less aggresive for a moment and he even tried to get up as the healer did something to the other person next to them. Derek didn't exactly see what it was because he was too busy trying to push the woman's hands away from him while sitting up.

He should stop being so bloody dizzy! He should have things under CONTROL, FOR MERLIN'S SAKE. "Don't!" Was all he was able to say as he held his right hand up as if to keep her AWAY from him as he tried to scoot away and catch his breath while trying his best not to PUKE.

"I need you to tell me the last time you had a vacation. Clearly you're too stressed for your line of work." Could it be? O.O.P.S maybe but she would hold that verdict just a little longer.
Lawrence stepped back slightly as the healer moved in closer to him, cutting out the muttering in his mind for a moment. Could she have discovered something already? All he asked was what he was supposed to do. But then he did not know much about Healing or craziness.

"Last Christmas break, I guess," he replied, hearing the question. No need to go into detail, huh? To him resting at home for the weekends counted as a vacation, and he was eager to get back to work, but in case he had a serious case of misunderstanding or something, the twenty-six year old did not mention that.

Such a shame it was, it seemed her speech function really was being run down to nothing. There might have been a shot for that...or a potion but they were hardly prepared for a case such as hers.

Aaaand she was a none toucher. "Fear of contact." She noted with a scribble to her board as she entered the room. While they were on this, for someone that didn't say much in any one go, she spoke a lot....rambled even...went off on tangents. Ravaora was lucky to keep up!!! Yessss, quite alarming to say the least. "Would you prefer to sit? Weak in the knees? How long has this problem persisted?" But by all means the woman could sit. It would make the injection go by easier if it came to that. Just a thought.

"How often do you come in contact with people?" Or did she run for the hills the moment it was initiated. Could be anything. Anything so just in case Ravaora began preparing a syringe. "This has been known to cure even the most dead of men." She promised, giving the needle a light flick. If your legs didn't want to wake, they obviously needed a waker upper.

"So, tell me, do you eat at the food court here?"
Wait... what was that? Did she just say fear of contact? ..... Her? A fear of contact? HA! That was laughable. "Incorrect," she stated at the woman, one brow raised questioningly. "I do not have a fear of contact, I merely have a dislike for your contact... you're a stranger with erratic behaviour." Seriously, what was this? A circus sideshow? It was more ridiculous than she first thought, and people wondered why she never liked Healers much. Bunch of hypochondriacs they were. Potions for this, serums for that, injections for this, balms for that... no thanks, she was fine without.

And as for the sitting thing. Circe help her. "I was merely inquiring which would be more suitable for you to do your work, I'm fine standing, prefer to be on my feet actually." So no, no weakness in the knees, no problems and certainly zero persistence with problems. The only problem she had on a frequent basis, was stupid people and time wasters, and this woman appeared to be both.

"Frequently, with my employees, with other officials and delegates, the public too..." did that satisfy her question? She did not have a fear of contact thing, yes? YES? All clear now?! Emily's hazel eyes observed the syringe and the fluid in it. Eeerr... no formal examination and the woman was already going to treat her like a pin cushion? Nu uh. Not happening. "I don't require curing, and any attempt to stick me with that substance without a proper examination, testing and explanation of a diagnosis with evidence will be met with force." Either her wand or her first, it really didn't matter which - both would end in the same way. The Healer in Mungo's herself, and her leaving this level and never looking back.

Questions about the food court? Really? This was zombie virus thing related, wasn't it? A delayed response by health enthusiasts that have no idea what they're doing and seem to be hell bent on creating more issues than there really are. Excellent. Nothing wrong with this scenario, at all.
"Seldom, I prefer to source my food from elsewhere... though on the odd occasion I do indulge in their cheesecake."

Health evaluations?

Was this a joke? Seriously, who was in the desperate need of a health check? Josh Carter believed he was perfectly healthy. Thank you. But apparently he had to make it to this appointment. This man knew one thing; he didn't like hospitals and he didn't like healers or doctors. Not that he had something against them personally. He just didn't like the progress of examination and the...clean, overly hygienic interior of a hospital which always had annoying colours around and an odd smell coming with it.

And it didn't take much time for the auror to realise that this place totally looked like a hospital once he walked in.

There were people around...naturally. But what was he supposed to do now? Moreover...what were those healers looking for? Whatever they were going to do to him, Josh hoped they would just not dare touch his scars. Especially the one over his eye.

*ahem*

"Hello?"

Edward had almost made it to the door when some chap addressed him and told him something about getting it over with. And then he asked about his name and department. Since when did it require identifying oneself to use the microwave? Was it some sort of subversive device being used to communicate with the world outside? He certainly would not divulge himself, especially since he was an Unmentionable.

I say, I really just wanted to heat up my snack. It's no big deal. I'll just come back later, when it's not so crowded. I don't know what this lot is about, but I've got work to do.

The liquid courage was running it's course.

"As I mentioned before, I'll simply be asking a series of questions."...to reiterate the general timeline of the evaluation. No, the DH had absolutely no idea what Silverkin was going to be asking or what she was going to do, even...but this was how he was preferring to roll.

"How's your diet? Your sleep pattern? Do you get enough hours in the night to feel properly rested the next morning? Do you consume adult beverages?"

...Just to name a few. All the while, Anthony glanced between her opened file and her face, trying to appear more serious than he had been before. Ms. Pennifold didn't need to know they were clearly UNDER ATTACK here.
Wizarding university, good. January nodded, pleased that Anthony wasn't yelling and screaming like the rest of them were, so yes, it was good that he got out when he did. There was obviously something wrong with them. Maybe THEY were the ones who needed to be checked out.

And so the questions began. "My diet is good. I cook all my own food, lots of chicken and vegetables. I get about... seven hours of sleep each night." Unless Vic was over. They usually spent the evening chatting and other things. Adult beverages? "The occasional glass of wine or champagne with dinner. A few times a week." Fairly normal, she assumed.

>___<

Sweet Circe, someone tell him the woman did not just...her face...smeared all over his arm like that. hjsfkGFsabvskCd. How in Merlin's beard was this legal? Decree, yes, he would write one the moment he got back to his office. While within Ministry walls everyone MUST maintain a 3 foot distance from each other unless explicitly told otherwise. Someone get her off, PLEASE.

Wasn't long before he broke out into a cold sweat, his nerves twitching further. Even his fingers were in on the twitching game. Gavin hadn't felt his skin crawling like this in the LONGEST time and suddenly it was all coming back to him.

"It's-perfectly-nutritious." His voice was tight in his throat as he spoke, leaving his tone sounding strained. Breath Gavin, just focus on the breathing. That became a little more difficult as she thrust a potion at him. A hand clamped over his mouth and he watched the contents spill. "Are you bloody mad?! Do you even know what that does?" You did not thrust unexplained viles at an ex-potioneer. "Get that thing away from me, you haven't found a thing wrong with me and even if you DID I can make my OWN brew." With that--and yes his hand still firmly clamped over his mouth--Gavin jerked free of her hold.

"I believe I'm done here. Thank you for wasting my time." Just had to get through this sea of people. Merlin more touching. He could never win. The thought had him standing there. How would he make this work.

It was obvious what he had and becoming obvious of a second symptom as well. "Here, let me help you. This job can be so stressful." Sloooooowly drawing closer, syringe with green liquid inside that would make him HAPPY for a loooong time. "Come now Mr. Grumpykins."

WHOOOAAAA sound the alarm! He was BABBLING rubbish! "MERLIN DIDN'T HAVE FLUFFY SLIPPERS SIR!!!" See why this needle in hand was necessary? If he wasn't careful the one with yellow would be next.
On edge? ON edge? on EDGE? "I will have you know, miss, I've been keeping my nerves at bay in court for fifteen years, I am never on edge." Except now. Crouching down on the floor trying to find what was left of his prosecutor!dignity.

And she had a syringe in hand. A SYRINGE. What was this, the fastest, silliest, least professional exam in the history of exams? No. She was not getting anywhere near him with that needle. Vic stood up, his hand pressed against his wand in case he needed to succumb to extreme measures with this mental case. "Only my sister's allowed to call me Grumpykins. It's copyrighted. I can sue you." With every step the woman took, he'd take an equal backward one. And for good measure, he started pushing whatever tables and things between them to keep her away from him, even the stretcher.

Did he even have to answer that? "No sense of humor or sarcasm, I believe the left side of your brain is significantly damage." He started giving her some of her own medicine. "You're screeching, this is an overreaction for a joke. Someone should sit you down and see what lies deep down beyond your collected Healer face." WHERE WAS SECURITY DANGIT.

Oh good. The Healer had a mirror. So Alysson could see for herself. She leaned forward slightly, tilting her head to the side so she could get a good look at her cheek when.......

"OUCH!" Had the Healer just SLAPPED AND PINCHED HER CHEEK???

Alysson's hand had immediately landed on her thigh over her dress where her wand was hidden. What on Earth...?? And the Healer had done it so casually too. Not like she'd just assaulted an innocent Ministry worker. And now she talking about her symptoms and how she was seriously ill again. "What is wrong with you?" She'd had enough of this. She wasn't sick! Or at least she had nothing on her face that would suggest that. What kind of Healer was this? Had she even told her her name? Why was she here? What was going on?

SEMINARS..........???????

Taking a step back, AWAY from the woman, Alysson narrowed her eyes slightly. "You truly believe that seminars will help cure an illness that allegedly affected my face?" How? If it was a rash she'd have to put something on it or take something. Not take part in a seminar. And now the Healer was kicking her out. "Who's your supervisor?" Seriously, this was ridiculous. She'd have to talk to Emily about this.

Ember made her ANGRIEST FACE EVER before....that happened...well then. The sharp and tiny pain of the noodle made her eyes NARROW before--oh my.

Ember suddenly blinked a lot, stumble backward, and caught a hold of the healer's shoulder. She suddenly felt so cloudy that she forgot what was going on. She noticed Derek. Oh. "Hi, Derek-" she said softly, her voice as airy as her head was feeling right now. She then smiled at the Healer woman. "Hi." she said again, and she suddenly giggled....and giggled.....

And giggled.

AND GIGGLED UNTIL SHE COULDN'T STOP. And Ember had to take deeeeeeeeeep breaths to get out of that--but she was grinning lazily, and stood up straight, and eyed the two of them--whaaaat was happening again? OH right. She grabbed a goldfish from the ground and stuck it in her mouth. Dirt never hurt. "This is yummy. Maybe you should eat some sugar and be happy..." her voice was still just floating, and she giggled as she swaaaaayed, grabbing the Healer Woman's shoulder again..

Wow.

Cool as a Cucumber. Cuember. CUEMBER. Ember started laughing again just thinking about herself as a cucumber...

For the LOVE of CIRCE......! William had NOT just been STRAPPED DOWN and SILENCED by this woman! Wasn't she here to save his life, not PREVENT AIR from getting to his nose and mouth!!!

He was really starting to panic now, with all these additional diagnoses and the "Healer" screaming for a Ravanora. What was that even?! Some kind of potion?!! WAS SHE GOING TO KILL HIM?!!! WAS SHE ONE OF THOSE "Death Angel" HEALERS?!?!?!!!!!!!

"Haaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllllllllpppppppppppppp pppppppppp," William did his best to moan from the stretcher. Somebody, anybody! He could barely even turn his head to see who all was IN this technology center!!!!
[QUOTE=Ravaora Silverkin;11647002]

Oh dear sweet Merlin, Circe above, was the woman scratching?? She was! The way her hand moved across her cheek like that surely couldn't have been coincidence!

The nonchalance was going nowhere with this one and she noticed it clung to his outer person even as he made his way behind her into the examination room. With a flick of her wand the door slammed shut forever at which point she gave him a once over. Still, this nonchalance...he might have been one of her most serious cases but he had no idea.

"A break you say? No better break than giving me the chance to get your check up underway. It won't take long and surely you know you can't check yourself." Professionals such as themselves were above that level of thinking so yes Mr. Cresswell, we'd LOVE to have a go at you.

So tense, he seemed and she already had a few conclusions she'd drawn on. Just needed him alone in a room with a couple prodding equipment and the truth would be uncovered in no time.

"Right this way if you will." But really he had no choice.

And here the confused look persisted. If the young woman kept this up, Ravaora wouldn't need an entire check up to tell her what was wrong. This poor POOR dear. Still so young. She bet she hadn't had the opportunity to live her life to the fullest yet she was already losing brain function. What a cruel world they lived in inside this graveyard in disguise.

Did no one else SEE how slowly she put away her reading material?? Her motor function was decreasing. How tragic! Never to walk the lonely road again because she wouldn't be walking. Despite the decrease happening in the arms, everyone knew the legs would ultimately be the first to go. Perhaps one day while in those heels....those heels. "Why do you wear those?" Important question.

Ah but here they had another confused one as well. Asking an abundance of questions, rambling on as she did as if she couldn't help herself. The processes in her mind must have been going too fast!! DEFINITELY COULDN'T WAIT, NOPE, THIS ONE WAS A TICKING TIME BOMB.

"This situation, yes." Ravaora explained as she led her into the room. "You must first understand how serious this is. How long have you been rambling? Childhood? New found habit? Why do you think you do it?" Would her brain process all those? Perhaps she should have slowed down. Mid questioning she reached forward and flicked the woman in the head once....twice...thrice...what was the reaction time here?

Eeeeekkkkkkkk!!!!

Such rapid and uncontrolled limb motion!! Ravaora watched with a wide eyed fascination as the man's frustration built. Quick tempered. Easily irritated. Obviously stressed and in need of sedation--those reflexes........"You must be on edge." She started slowly as she made a slow advance toward him, syringe posed in hand. So tense this one. It was obvious what he had and becoming obvious of a second symptom as well. "Here, let me help you. This job can be so stressful." WHOOOAAAA sound the alarm! He was BABBLING rubbish! "MERLIN DIDN'T HAVE FLUFFY SLIPPERS SIR!!!" See why this needle in hand was necessary? If he wasn't careful the one with yellow would be next.

Could she find the door? Would she have to lead the way? Because she would you know. Ravaora was here to HELP and if people within the Ministry were starting to lose their sight one was expected to be extra helpful. Not much of a talker she noted as well. Closing the door behind her she looked to the hesitant young woman--that was it, wasn't it?? The hesitancy, the uncertainty....Merlin why didn't she see this sooner. "How long have you been working here?" It could already be too late but she still had to TRY.

Just as she'd gotten through with another of the dying she heard her name above the hum and buzz of the room. Oh, Wandastian! The Healer smiled, making her way over. "I thought you'd be offering your assistance to those on the lower levels." Was it that they didn't trust the Healers at the Ministry? Absolutely.

"I like to think I've made excellent progress up here." As proven by all the people who now knew for a fact they were dying. They were most welcome. She was here to help.

The short responses only continued despite Ravaora's BEST efforts to stir up a riveting conversation between the two.

She did find herself leaning back though when the 'healer' leaned in waaaaayyyyyy close to her. Personal space. Professionalism. Honestly.

She gave an apologetic smile towards her floormate though when he replied back about it being easier to send them all home for the day. Did he not see though? Sending them all home for the day without reason would be cause for suspicion. BUT if they sent them all to St Mungos for 'care' well there wouldn't be anything they could do about it. Nonetheless she gave her floormate a 'we'll talk later' look, as she turned obediently toward the 'healer' and followed her into the examination room.

"Sorry to interrupt your examination process, but I am in working shape and haven't had any issues." So she was healthy, really.

Of this needle?" No worries, we won't be using it on you....unless of course...the woman became uncooperative, then they would run into some problems.

Interruption indeed. The Healer glanced up from the syringe and toward Miss Pushy. "Rambling as well....." Scribble scribble scribble. So much to discover with this one and so little time before she had to save yet another from dying. A Healer's work was never done, now was it?

"Would you say you get enough sleep in?"

Wasn't this one a doll? Literally, such nice blonde hair and those cheek bones. Half plastic she was. Not safe for the environment at all--AND NOT SHARING. Why? That was the most important question as Ravaora walked over to the couch.

SPOILER!!: *can feel the love*

These two Protested FAR too much. Honestly, how did they expect her to do her job? She couldn't save lives if the lives were clinging to the reaper and telling her she may be excused and Ravaora would be damned if she let these two slip through her well manicured fingers. It simply wouldn't be happening on her watch...that...she left back in her office. Huh. Wow. Bad omen right there.

Once inside she turned first to the rambler. "You talk a lot, like A LOT. Classic sign Sweetheart but I know what to do in such a case." Without warning she stuck something in his ear, "Say 'ahhhhhh'" Walking around his chair, she skilfully ignored the walking cane the old man had been on about. If he used the cane, it wouldn't be HER bloody miracle now would it? "This stuttering, have you always had it? How do you feel about dying? Don't you think my job is important?" Sometimes...it was nice to feel appreciated while you worked.

Which brought her to the next one. Mr. Hero Complex. "You don't like being alone do you? It's why you INSISTED on coming in with Mr. Clarke here--it's okay, no need to explain. I understand. You've got deeply routed trust issues stemming from all the horrors you've seen in this place."

Her heart went out to him, with every beat she could feel his anguish and was right her with the sedating syringe once he took a seat because those arms, those muscle, rawr. Had to get a feel before he was a goner, you know?

Oh wow! This one was changing colour without her having smacked him first!!

!!!

!!!!!

How exciting!!--Yet tragic, so so tragic. Was he another lost soul come for the little help he may receive? She knew the type well, she'd seen enough of them since the morning began. if you asked her, he looked nothing but uneasy, even more so after yelling happened somewhere in the room. Wait...she knew that look.

"MERLIN'S GREAT GROGGY BEARD HE'S HAVING A HEART ATTACK!!" Nooooooo!!! Ravaora rushed over to the man and tackled him to the floor. "Not to worry Sir, I know exactly what to do." She began pumping at his chest aggressively, like they did in those muggle movies where every second counted.

"You will LIVE dammit!!"

SPOILER!!: Healer Bestie and Mr. Hottie McHotter

Hold the snitch! That shrill screeching!!! Loranys!! Ravaora whipped around at the sudden call to action and practically FLEW over to her bestfriend and the patie---"Hopping hippogriffs!!!" The Healer's eyes were WIDE as she leaned forward with all the care in the medical world. Just look at him. Hardly able to move, the poor dear. His motor skills must have been going too.

It was a thing of BEAUTY, watching these two ladies labor and take such great PRIDE in their work. TRULY INSPIRATIONAL. If Wandastian had the time to give them the unlimited SNAPS they deserved...Well, he'd do so...BUT LIVES needed SAVING.

Poor, POOR employee, however. He'd heard the woman, had he not? He'd been on death's door stoop. And Loranys had taking a liking to the fellow. Lucky man, he was. Didn't he realize how accomplished Ms. Lilyfield was? One of the best Healers in the country, she was.

"Unfortunately, I'm only down here for a short moment...Healer Donovan seems utterly strained and incapable dealing under the circumstances. Loranys, I believe his diet will need a thorough review."

When the time came, Wandy would attend to Healer Donovan himself. The man was just simply too troubled to carry on without the proper assessments....and possibly a potion or two.

"We'll rendezvous later, lovelies." Yes, he was forever in awe of his coworkers. Such professionalism. Oh, me! Oh, MY!

Normally Ainsley was super laid back and didn't cause any waves, but the stress of her job was getting to her lately. "And this is what exactly, my dear?" Her eye started to twitch.

She wasn't up for just blindly taking something. What if she was allergic to an ingredient? Shouldn't there be some kind of screening before you went and gave random people potions? Ainsley was skeptical. The blonde thought this whole health screen was fishy.

"This potion will only calm and relax you, ma'am. I promise...as a professional from one of the most revered wizarding medical facilities in the world, I would only seek to help. Not harm."

"It's simply to relax you...All the ingredients are organic." Loranys insisted as much. Organic health meant organic life! "It's just...you seem so stressed, ma'am." That was nearly UNRESTRAINED panic in her eyes! Wandy knew the signs!

It would turn into a nasty bit of business if he had to ensure she took the potion. Idly, he checked his watch.

How obvious was this? Couldn't they tell from the look on his face? The better question was, didn't that Mr. Epitaph know when his Healers were not wanted nor were the needed? Health checks, it was a joke and a rather non-amusing one at that. As the Senior Underscretary had tried to explain, there was nothing wrong with the employees working within the Ministry, no matter what reports they got from elsewhere.

With the deepest scowl set in place and his hands buried deep into the pockets of his pants, the man made his entrance. Like everyone else, he had an appointment, and he'd shown up on time so he wouldn't be forced to mingle.

"Gavin Isaacs, Senior Undersecretary." Let's hurry this thing along, shall we? There was a madwoman tackling someone to the ground and another with Williamson. Poor bloke. Just one of those better you than me scenarios in truth. Personal space, he would stay over here and keep his.

Leaping leprechauns! Did Ravaora hear that? DID she hear the way he was continuing to ramble despite the gentle care she had already bestowed upon him? Oh sweet Merlin he was getting WORSE. He might not even make it to their wedding day!

She was just about to clip clop her way out of the room when Heart Throb McGav entered. She could TOTALLY afford a few more minutes here. Besides, she would need a backup in case Hottie McHotter didn't make it out.

"Ooooooooooh, right THIS way, Mr. Undersecretary," she giggled as she avoiding a flirtatious slip-up of his title, but only just barely. She swiftly, but carefully, slipped her arm under his so she could escort him to the designated area. "Just a few nyahaha routine checks and questions and you will be all set."

She had already taken note of the way he had been trying to isolated himself. Not a good sign, not at all. It could only mean ONE thing.

"Tell me, what have you had to eat today?" Oh dear future husband number two.

Oh, if it wasn't the Senior Undersecretary....The man that had made all THIS possible. Wandastian brightly grinned as Loranys descended upon him.

Don't worry, Mr. Isaacs. All will be well and fine soon. That's what they were there for. Reforms! Health awareness! Dietary awareness!

Zero.

WHY was there ANOTHER St. Mungo's person down here? WHY?

Merlin, the screeching...

NO, no...Get it over with now, mate. No need for them to be tracking you down later.

Anthony got the distinct feeling they would that sort of thing. Their combined crazy felt at about that level.

"Name and department." Hurry.

...and Merlin, did one that actually LOOKED an anxious mess have to show up? This was what they wanted! To make the Ministry look incapable and incompetent.

Maybe. Anthony didn't generally speak Nutter.

"Relax. Name and department."...but QUICKLY, please. Please, before you're SEEN.

Oh, did Healer Cresswell thing he was immune to these VERY IMPORTANT checks? Wandastian stepped forward and lightly patted the man on his shoulder. The motion was distinctly awkward.

"Don't you worry, Healer Cresswell. Ravaora will see to you personally. She's fully adept at handling the issues that accumulate when you're knackered and spent from years in government offices." Oh, there was no more stressful a job than that of the political kind.

"When you've completed the evaluations you're currently working on, please see her. Immediately. Thank you."

Had he heard that? No, no room for arguments! This was a SERIOUS matter. The longer he waited, the worse off he'd be.

*ahem*

"Hello?"

Oh, before he wandered off, Wandastian supposed he could see to this man. The O.O.P.S. was STRONG with this one. An the SCARS! This poor, POOR young fellow! What had he been subjected to while working at this facility? Oh, ME....OH, MY!

"Sir, please. Let me attend to you at once. How are you feeling?" He might not have looked particularly angry at the moment, but that DID NOT mean an episode wasn't just around the corner. Wandy had seen it all before. So tragic. So, utterly DISASTROUS and HORRIBLE. Given the scars, Wandastian didn't want to take a chance with a potion vial. Circe help him if he repeated the earlier woman's tantrum!

"Ravaora! Syringe!"
