| Office of the Minister of Magic Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite Minister for Magic's Office
Welcome to the office of Albert Kettleburn, current Minister for Magic and appointed leader of the Wizarding government in the United Kingdom. The office is located at the far end of Level One, and it is only accessible through the Senior and Junior Undersecretaries' Office. The Minister prefers his guests check in with his Undersecretaries before barging into his office in an undignified manner.
If you make it into the inner sanctum, you will find Kettleburn's office to be much the same as Greingoth's - the man hasn't had time to redecorate yet. The office contains a large wooden desk and a matching bookcase. A collection of house plants in bright pots lines the top shelf on one book shelf as well as both windowsills, and the rest of the shelves are littered with texts, manuals, rolls of parchment, and dozens of framed family photos.

| Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite Gavin needed space, a lot of space and a good whiff of fresh air to boot but, all that, he could forsake until he'd had a stern word with the Mr. Kettleburn. The situation couldn't have become more serious than it had become. How did it even get this way?? The man chose his path very carefully. Taking the stairs rather than the lifts (to avoid being stuck with one of them in there) and checking behind every corner before walking. No more. He couldn't take the touching and NEEDLES any longer.
Arriving at his office once more, he put locking charms on his door, something that wasn't usually the case before giving a brisk knock then entering the office of the Minister for Magic. "Mr. Kettleburn, a word if you will." He guaranteed it was more important than anything the man was about to sign.

"Mr. Kettleburn, a word if you will." He guaranteed it was more important than anything the man was about to sign. He was tempted to remind the man that it was Minister Kettleburn, but based on the fact that Gavin looked peeved and had entered without specific invitation, it seemed like an argument that could wait. Albert steepled his hands and waved at the chairs in front of him. An invitation to sit. Stay. Talk.
"What's on your mind, Gavin? It must be rather... serious."

"What's on your mind, Gavin? It must be rather... serious." For a brief moment he weighed the pros and cons to taking a seat. It might only leave him feeling more clustered but at the same time refusing the seat offered would add a second offence to his earlier slight so the Senior Undersecretary sat...at the edge of the seat...looking like he was waiting for one of them to burst in at any second. Since their arrival, his anxiety had been through the roof. "Serious...grave...in dire need of attention..." Could have been any of those really. "It's about the Healers, Sir, the ones who've garnered permission to wander about the ministry causing havoc as they see fit--to put it mildly."
He straightened, trying to maintain what little of his professionalism he had left toward them as possible. "Quite frankly, they've done far more harm than good. I've received several complaints and experienced......assault as it were, at the hands of these 'Professionals', as they call themselves. Something must be done."

"I was under the impression they would be brief. Unintrusive. And... that they already had a handle on our problem," Albert's eyes went to the top of his desk, where he was certain he had the documentation that Gavin had prepared for him on these visitors. They had approval to be here, and they'd seemed like a very good idea at the time.
But if Gavin said they were overstaying their welcome... "Perhaps the old maxim is true about fish and visitors stinking after three days? If we think they've done as much good as they will ever be capable of doing..." He spread his hands out in a sort full body shrug. "You have my leave to let them know their services are no longer required. And we thank them kindly for their help. Give them a t-shirt from the gift shop as a parting gift."

"You have my leave to let them know their services are no longer required. And we thank them kindly for their help. Give them a t-shirt from the gift shop as a parting gift." Gavin had been all too prepared with evidence in case the Minister needed some form of convincing and at Albert's mention of their promise to be brief he had some counter arguments, but in the end none were needed because the man was on the same page. "Evidently they've over-stayed their welcome and ruin everything and everyone they touch."
But that, that right there, Gavin flew up from his seat as if a second wind had been knocked right into him. "I'll get right on that for you Mr. Kettleburn. Won't waste a minute." Not even a second. The man was so happy to be ridding the place of them that in fact, shirts didn't sound so terrible. He was all for it even. Parting gift, a final good riddance. "Have a good day, Sir." He said with a small nod of his head before he made his exit. The bold stride he'd had before they showed up was back.
Today was a GOOD day.
