Okay so he wasn't going to get through all this work now, he needed something to distract him. But what? Looking around the room he say Gavin waving in the new people and a thought came to mind, pushing from his desk he made his way over to the older guy.
"Hay Gavin, need any help over here?" He asked politely.

Beware.
Gavin looked towards the door as another person entered the office, this time a young woman who seemed barely out of school. "Hello...may I help you?" he asked walking over to her a little to get her attention.
Utau looked at Gavin, her purple eyes widening "Yes, my name is Sakurada Utau" she bowed her head "I have not been assigned my working area or what to do, I am in the Muggle-worthy excuses department... and I am new here" she said, trying to look serious.

"Hi there"[/B] Imogine shook the mans hand " Im new here and Im supposed to be working in this department but I do not know my position and..." all of a sudden an owl flew in and dropped a not at Imogines feet. she picked it up, it told her that she was now promoted to the position of junior reversal agent and she needed to claim a desk. "I need to go find a desk" she reported "Im now the junior recersal agent" she thanked the man for his help and was off to seek out a desk.

Dianna recently received an owl to go to the Ministry to avail a desk. She was excited to start another week in the Ministry now that she was P.A.R.T. urgent response Officer. She took a desk and set her things there. Her ball pen, some papers, folders, and her wand. But she also put a picture of her family. It had her mom, dad ("I miss you, dad," Dianna said while looking at his picture. Her dad was in Paris.), her sister, Katrina, and her brother, Alexander.
She later fixed her extra things (like her calendar, never be late for the dates) and sat there, watching the others chat and wishing she would be part of them.

Neria entered the office with a box in her hands. The box contained a couple of pictures, some plants and a few things she reconned she needed in her new job as an Event Concealment Specialist. One of the pictures was of her family, her father and mother waving and smiling towards her and her brother Neo giving her the thumbs up. The other picture was of her boyfriend Jag and herself, holding each other passionately while standing on the beach while laughing happily. She sighed as she saw her plants that already had started to become sad and a browner shade of green. She had never had green fingers, but her mum insisted that every person working in an office needed plants to enlighten the environment.
She shifted the weight of the box and pulled out a parchment from her pocket. She was very excited for her first day, but to be honest, she had no clue what she had gotten into. She was glad that she had quit her last job at St. Mungo's as a receptionist. It wasn't that she didn't like it, but it would be good with some changes. She needed a job where she could be physically challenged, not just mentally as she had been her whole life.
She scanned through the parchment and found her co-workers name. Mr. Renaldi was expecting her, but she had never met him before, and she had no idea what he looked like. She put the parchment at the top of her box and went over to the cubicle furthest away from the entrance and put her box down on the desk nearest the left door. She scanned the room for Mr. Renaldi to appear and hoped she at least was at the right floor.

Hopefully it wouldn't take too long, if they even had to train.
He wasn't her boss? Then who was? The head of the department? Surely there would be someone in charge of the obliviators? "Are you the head Obliviator? Is there a head Obliviator?" she asked curiously. "And sorry...just a little anxious." She admitted, blushing a bit. She didn't like to feel less then her best, less than confident. "So Gavin it is..." eh. She felt weird not calling him sir. He seemed older as well, making it even harder for her to not refer to him as her superior. Darn her manners!
She smiled at the other new employee, and nodded at Bossman Gavin. Since Kammy didn't really know what he was in relation to her...she referred to him as that(IN HER HEAD ONLY.) She then turned around to claim a desk. She simply picked one closest, seeing as they all pretty much looked the same. She had brought some stuff in her bag to put on her desk if she had one, so she was pretty prepared. She carefully placed her bag on the desk and plowed through the stuff inside to find it. Aha! Two pictures, one of her parents and one of Drew to put on her desk. She missed them all so, so much! She then placed a stack of unused parchment and a new very nice Quill and some new black ink on the desk as well. She was all set. She didn't exactly know how much paper work she'd be doing...but well, she was prepared.
Gavin nodded at her assumptions that their job required training. "Yes indeed for it would be quite disasterous for mistakes to happen if one is not well-trained," he replied answering her question verbally afterwards. "And I'm sure it will be arranged once things settle down from the recent hirings so it can be done as a group and have everyone on the same page." At least thats what he figured. It wasn't exactly his place to make too many decisions for the group.
"No, I'm not...I usually work with implanting new memories as Reminicator. There was a senior obliviator but she has since left the department for personal matters," the older man explained feeling just a twinge of sadness that Frida wasn't around anymore to help each other handle their division. "I don't know of any other head coming in at the time," Gavin added before letting her find and settle in a desk. It wasn't like he wouldn't be around to answer anything else should she think of something.

"Thanks, Gavin,"Zora replied pleasantly with a wink."And um...one more question. Since I was new here so do I have to receive any training?"She got a little confused with that."I hope that Gavin will not find me annoying because of all the questions I have asked,"she thought to herself.
"You're welcome," Gavin replied catching the wink and unsure of its meaning. Surely there wasn't anything she was thinking...and if there was , she'd learn soon enough he was happily married and that would be that. "Yes you will as I told Kammy, though at the moment I'm not entirely sure when it should take place," he answered informing her of what he did and didn't know. That was all he could do at the present time with changes going on and uncertainties on place.
"And no...no bother I'm happy to help."

"Pleasure to meet you Miss Sakurada," Gavin greeted returning the bow of her head with a slight one of his own. "Well the Muggle-Worthy Excuse division is right over there at the yellow desks," he informed the woman with a polite smile pointing to the cluster second-closest to the waiting area after the blue Misinformation desks. "Feel free to pick out an unclaimed desk and settle in and don't worry...you'll get used to things sooner then you think."

Gavin returned the woman's handshake, listening to her speak and nodding to show he was listening. He was about to speak when they were interrupted by an owl, not a common occurance seeing as interoffice memos were the regular usage within the ministry. "Alright...that's the red cluster by the break room," he said to help as she headed off to find a desk as the note obviously instructed her to.

Blake stepped off the lifts with a smile on her face. She had gotten her placement owl and it was her first day at work.
This was a good day and she was grateful to be out of the pits in Gringotts. She walked around the office getting the lay of the land and smiling at a few people who caught her eye.

Zora smiled as Gavin replied. She could tell that Gavin felt a bit unnatural or kind of weird from his face. She was definitely just trying to be friendly to anyone she met and that's why she gave him a wink. In those days when she was still at Hogwarts, everyone did this to one another, which expressing thanks or being friendly. They were used to it but seemed that it didn't work here. She was a bit sorry about that.
"Alright and once again thank you so much,"Zora replied politely. Then she turned around to claim a desk. She noticed the girl who was standing next to her when Gavin was explaining. She greeted her politely,"Hi Kammy! I am Zora,"she smiled. She noticed that there was a vacant desk next to Kammy's and it looked perfectly fine for her. She thought to herself,"Maybe I could just take this one then."She was satisfied with all the things she saw and all the people she met.

Looking over the crowd still he wondered what questions they had and if they'd direct them at him as well as Gavin. The guy needed some space after all.

Richard put his new briefcase on his desk. It was brown with a few scuffs. He undid the clasps of it and pulled out a roll of parchment, a handful of dark blue quills and a bag of Bertie Botts beans. He always travelled light wherever he went abroad or just to the shops it didnt matter.
He pulled out a snowglobe which he put on the desk. Richard glanced at it for a second and then up at his new colleagues. He was sure this wouldn't be a million miles away from his old job as an obliviator.
Landon Renaldi was definitely running late. He was suppose to welcome the new comer and he was late. Crap. Crapcrapcrap.
When the twenty three old reached the work area - his eyes scanned the crowd to see for any new faces and surely he found one. One that was standing next to Gavin and asking for him.
"Mr Renaldi is right here," Landon said, before joining the two. "Hello," he greeted the girl and gave a quick nod to Gavin. "And welcome to the Department of Accidents and Catastrophes,"

What was wrong with her? She was usually calm and a bit stern, but she never flushed like a silly schoolgirl. This was her first day. She was professional. She had a boyfriend. Landon couldn't help but grin at the reaction this new girl was giving him. If he wasn't wrong - which he was pretty sure he wasn't - then this girl was blushing. Enthusiastic as ever, the boy brought his hand forward and shook her hand back. "No need to be so formal, Miss Neria. I am Landon," he smiled before continuing. "You can call me Landon."
Yep she could. First thing was first: he needed to make her feel comfortable.

"Gavin..Nice to see you..Sorry for not being in the office lately.."He apologzied to his mentor, looking down at his shoes as he spoke quietly.

Gavin nodded at her assumptions that their job required training. "No, I'm not...I usually work with implanting new memories as Reminicator. "I don't know of any other head coming in at the time," Gavin added before letting her find and settle in a desk. It wasn't like he wouldn't be around to answer anything else should she think of something.
Kammy nodded. "Thanks so much..." she really did look appreciative. She was so anxious, and with all these new employees here today, and not knowing her exact job, it was making her feel weird. It was nice to have an authoritative figure in times like theses.
She thought that perhaps he would be the new head...only made sense, right? He seemed to be the oldest, as in most experienced, member in here. "That sounds like a pretty fun job," she commented casually as she, too examined her new desk. how exciting.

She thought to herself,"Maybe I could just take this one then."She was satisfied with all the things she saw and all the people she met.
Kammy looked up, and she then beamed at the other girl. She stood up, held out her right hand politely, and said, "Hello, Zora...yes, Kammy is my name..childish, I know" yuck.
She smiled again; she was overcome with the urge to feel extremely positive about the outcome of this new...job.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. McNally," Dianna said. "Excuse me sir, I should really go somewhere. Very urgent. I'm very sorry."

Neria grinned and shook Landon's hand "Ok, Landon, but since we're giving up the formalities, please don't call me Miss Neria," she said while winking, "Neria will do."
She leant against the desk they were standing at and she looked at Landon while thinking hard. Where had she seen this boy before? She decided not to ask, as the job was more important than small chat. "So Landon," she said while turning towards the box on desk where she slowly started unpacking, "I've been reading up on the jobdescription as a Event Concealment Specialist, but what are we currently working on?" She felt the excitement bubble up in her as she waited for Landon to answer.
Kevin entered the work area and looked for a desk, he was kinda shy because it was his first time inside the work room. He saw loads of people working and chattering.
Now I really need to find a work place so I can start working already...
Hmm... Somewhere near a window...
Trying to get on with some new comers :D sorry if I didn't see you.

Dianna came back to her table while sipping from her coffee. She was at the point on sitting down at her desk when she saw a confused guy trying to look for something or someone. Dianna approached him
"Excuse me sir but..." Dianna realized it was the guy who talked to her earlier, Ruiz. "Oh Ruiz. Hi. What were you looking for? You seem confused."

Nils sighed a breath of relief. At least he hadn't been gone so long that Gavin had forgotten him.He just sort of floating into the office hoping not to get caught, but at the same time wishing to,so no one had thought he had disappeared on the spot without informing anyone.
"Gavin..Nice to see you..Sorry for not being in the office lately.."He apologzied to his mentor, looking down at his shoes as he spoke quietly.
Gavin listened as Nils appologized about not being around, the action curious at least to him. Who was he to dictate the work schedule of employees in the department...that was certainly something he was used to the department head being in charge of. Whether it was Ben, Wes, Sion, Charles or Iridesca.
Ok so he had been through a lot of bosses...
"Its ok...just good to have you back," he said in response figuring it was the best way to answer. No sense dwelling on the past just dealing with the present.

She thought that perhaps he would be the new head...only made sense, right? He seemed to be the oldest, as in most experienced, member in here. "That sounds like a pretty fun job," she commented casually as she, too examined her new desk. how exciting.
.
"You're welcome," Gavin responded as she thanked him for his assistance. The man let her go about her settling in only looking back when she commented on her opinion on the job. "It certainly can be at times," he mused in return before going back to task.

She seemed to smile in response which was a good change since she had seemed out of it before. "Ah of course. And no reason to be sorry," Gavin replied leaving her to whatever was urgent. He himself was thinking of getting back to work but with no assignments to go out, everything else was paperwork and such that could be handled when one got to it as long as it was in a timely fashion. Getting everyone settled seemed more important and more efficient at the time.

She walked over to the man "Hello, you look just as lost as I am, are you new?"
As another new guy entered the office Gavin was about to step in and introduce himself, offering the assistance he had given to the other new members of the department staff. However before he could two other newbies including one who apparently knew him or at least his name stepped in. The reminiscator settled for simply standing off to the side to still be available to step in if need be.
