After a surprisingly delightful chat with the A&C Department Head, Emily strode back through to the A&C work area... there were people!!

Clearing her throat a little nervously she looked around at them all. Well Ms MacMillan did say she could borrow her staff... if they wanted to help.
"Hi there..." she started, a little awkwardly. She didn't know any of these people, it was, odd... "I'm Emily... Emily Browne, from MLE."
Good start! well done you said your name! she thought to herself sarcastically.
"Ms MacMillan just granted me permission to use your training facilities, just wondering if any of you wanted to join me?"

"You can hex, jinx and curse me all you like for the next hour..." Incentive? Damien would think so.

Bradley looked up as someone came in and spoke to them all, someone he didn't actually know but what she was offering seemed fun and interesting. Once she had stopped talking he didn't wait a moment's pause before stepping forward. "I volunteer" Was all he said.

Emily grinned broadly as one of the men stepped up to the plate. He he. Yep this was exactly what she needed. She looked him over, up and down-- not checking him out per say... just noting his masculinity. Hopefully he'd offer her a challenge. She needed to practice, and learn fast, she was determined.
"Brilliant, you'll do nicely." She said, still smiling.

This would be fun.
"I'll meet you in there then." She didn't have a lot of time to waste, best get straight to the point yeah? And she was off.. adrenaline already pumping through her veins. This is what she needed, enough of that sitting around reading case files all day.

"Okay" Bradley said as he nodded his head at the women who was leaving the room. He breathed before turning back to his fellow workmates. Emerald, Skye etc. "Wish me luck" He said locking his fingers together. After a moments pause he left the room.

Special Memo from Iridesca:

A group of butterfly shaped papers flutter into the Work Area Cubicles. Each one is addressed with a different name and seems to be on a mission. The blue colored pieces of paper flutter around and then land on the different desks all at once. When opened, there is an announcement inside from the Department Head:

OOC: We will get started tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept 6 around 4:00 pm EST. See you there!

Bradley had been enjoying a break, well one long break at that, when a memo suddenly flew into the room. He thought nothing of it at first and continued to chew on his sandwich but after a while he looked up to see it floating on his desk waiting to be read. Looking over the other desk's in the room he saw they too had the memo's.

Putting down his sandwich he leant forward to plunk up the memo to read. It wasn't very long but he still got excited. Finally some work, he wanted to get to work right away. Putting the memo down he sadly put away the rest of his sandwich and stood up. Brushing himself down he made his way to conference room.

Having been busy filing paperwork for the latest situation he had dealt with, Gavin looked up as he spotted a lot of fluttery movement out of the corner of his eye. Out of habit, it was becoming familiar as Iridesca's chosen form of communication and he laid his quill down in place just in time to retrieve the notice addressed to him. The reminscator read through the notice and sighed.

Guess he would need to finish later.

Gavin put away his quill and filed his papers where he could retrieve them later before getting up from his chair. Pushing it in, he then walked to the conference room hoping their team notetaker still had their list.

Frida read over the notice and took a deep breath. The last week or so had been a strain both physically and mentally. Perhaps she should....
Yes. During the meeting may be a good time.

She looked at her glass case of sweets that had gone almost untouched over the past few days and placed the lid back on top of it.
Putting away her paperwork and folders in their designated areas, Frida stood up and headed towards the conference room.

Kammy had found her way, all right. She was usually very good with directions, and this was no different. She made her way into the room, feeling just a twinge of nervousness. It was her first day at her new job. How weird did that sound? Kammy had a real job. She was now a working 'gal!' She then glanced at her paper; she was port of the Office of Misinformation...but she hadn't actually been told what she was yet. It was quite strange, and Kammy was quite confused. Maybe some of her coworkers could help? Who knows. She didn't really know where to go, so she simply stood there, pretending to read her paper over and over again until someone helped her?

Imogine entered through the door.

Gavin watched as she moved to head through the door into the main office, the man nodding as she introduced herself. "Nice to meet you Imogine," he responded with a polite smile. The Reminscator soon following her through the doorway as well before letting the glass door close behind him.

Coming into the office with Imogine, Gavin spotted another new face standing just inside the door way. It seemed today was to be a day of new employees joining them. "Hello..." he greeted the woman politely. "Let me guess...new to the department and not sure where to go?" he asked gentky nudging her with his words to clue him into the truth or untruth of his guess.

Not that he wasn't certain it was correct having had quite a bit of experience with observing the behavior of new employees.

Utau walked in and stood up awkwardly, she didn't had a work yet! The letter she got hadn't assigned her anything! Just the fact that she was in the Muggle-worthy excuses thingy, which she still felt it was wrong, she hadn't taken Muggle History, and coming from a Pureblood family, things weren't that good with muggles, all she knew about them was how they managed in the lessons!

Kammy quickly looked up at the voice, and she beamed widely at him. She nodded, but she remained her confident self. "Exactly! I got a letter saying I was in the misinformation office...but I currently have nothing to do, no assignments. The letter said they were still trying to figure it out...apparently." Eh, she wasn't complaining.

"My names Kammy, by the way," she told him happily, but not exactly in an annoying cheerful way. She held out her hand for him to shake.

Richard walked into the office sweeping soot off his usual long beige coat and stripy trousers. He finished getting rid of it, or so he thought because there was still a rather large patch on the bottom of his coat tails. He walked over to a battered desk and plonked his briefcase on the chair. At last it was time to settle down. Another chapter, another adventure.

Gavin looked towards the door as another person entered the office, this time a young woman who seemed barely out of school. "Hello...may I help you?" he asked walking over to her a little to get her attention.

Misinformation Office...

Gavin couldn't help but frown slightly at the mention. He had worked in the department for nearly 7 years and there was never any such office in the Department of Accidents and Catatrophes and surely he would know but then he remembered hearing about something in the works.

"I'm sorry..." he said trying to appologize for his reaction. "Its just the new name of the Obliviator Division and I almost forgot about it." It was seriously going to take him some time to remember that, it had already taken a bit to get used to not being in Experimental charms division when he had first switched over.

"Nice to meet you Kammy. That means you're working with me since I'm Senior Reminiscator. We're here in this blue work area," Gavin informed her with a polite smile pointing to the desks nearest to the door. "And my names Gavin."

As Gavin was overseeing his little group another man, older then he it seemed walked into the office. He wasn't too familiar with him and so he walked over to see if he could figure out he mystery. "Excuse me...may I help you?"

Bradley re-entered the office after the meeting, wondering what this year would bring for him. Stopping just inside the door he looked around the everyone that was already there, the young and the old, then new and the experienced. Yeah he was going to have a good year, smiling to himself he took off in the direction of his desk where he knew he'd find work waiting for him but in the process he sent Gavin a nod of greeting.

Zora entered the office which she was placed in. She had received a letter that told her that she was in the office as a Junior Reminscator but she got no idea about where should her work at since this was her first year working at the Ministry of Magic after her graduation which had happened recently. She stood there, trying to find someone in charge to help her out.

Gavin noticed the nod sent his way from his fellow employee, returning it with one of his own. He then turned his attention back to the group near the door only to see they had been joined by another...a recent Hogwarts graduate if he wasn't mistaken.

We're really becoming like a tour group...

Keeping his attention on the group as a whole, he moved just a step or two closer to the new girl. "May I help you?" he asked with a polite smile.

Kammy, a worried look set on her face, had her hand digging through her bag to find her acceptance letter(is that what you would call it? getting accepted to a job?) at his frown. As if he hadn't heard of it. Gah! What if she was completely mistake and had the wrong info and such? Kammy had the letter out and ready to show him when he suddenly spoke.

Oh. So she was going to be an obliviator? Maybe? That would be pretty cool, if so. "I wonder what I will have to do..." she wondered vaguely, looking around the room curiously. She folded her letter carefully and placed it back in her bag. She ran her fingers through her brown hair and widened her eyes at his next comment! Gah!

"So you're my boss! Right? Goodness! Sorry, Sir,er, Gavin?" she asked rather than stated, very confused. She always called her previous employers 'sir' and 'ma'am', but they were much older than Gavin. "Oh, blue..that's a ...nice color," she remarked, having become very nervous now. This man was her boss! Kammy was so used to being so inferior to them...she was feeling quite out of place.

"Yes please."Zora smiled cheerfully as usual."Um...I am just looking for the place where I should be working in. I had the letter with me which said that I was the Junior Reminiscator but I got no idea about that since this was my first year so could you please help me out with that, sir?"she nodded and continued,"By the way my name is Zora. Nice to meet you."She grinned so as to give a good impression to others.

"Well we usually deal with cover-ups like muggles seeing something they shouldn't...erasing memories and implanting new ones," Gavin mused speaking of their rough job description before stopping as she started speaking to him as if he was her superior.

Oh boy...she thought he was the boss.

"Um...no need for sir...Gavin's fine," he remarked trying to think of the right words to correct this situation. "And I'm not really your boss just one of the more experienced in the division," he assured her wanting her to not feel uptight around him for it would only make things harder.
Well with Frida's departure...pretty much the most experienced.

Gavin nodded as the new girl answered his question. Another for his division. "Nice to meet you, Zora, I'm Gavin," he returned the introduction first to make it easier. "And as junior reminiscator you'd be working directly with me but part of the whole Obliv--Office of Misinformation that Kammy here and I work in," he explained correcing himself halfway through and pointing to the other new employee before pointing at the correct desk area right in front of them.

"And this blue work area is ours so feel free to find an unclaimed desk and settle in...you too Kammy," Gavin instructed including both employees in his words with a smile.

As another new face entered the office, Gavin looked back in the direction of the door. If she was another new employee then they were going back to where the department was when he first started...mostly females. Might be mostly Brad and himself here as the token guys. Kammy liked the sound of that. It involved being swift, clever, AND creative...she had to come up with logical memories for the muggles to remember! She began to feel very excited...and couldn't wait to get started! "It sounds easier said than done. It probably takes training to be able to do it correctly?" she asked more than stated. Hopefully it wouldn't take too long, if they even had to train.

He wasn't her boss? Then who was? The head of the department? Surely there would be someone in charge of the obliviators? "Are you the head Obliviator? Is there a head Obliviator?" she asked curiously. "And sorry...just a little anxious." She admitted, blushing a bit. She didn't like to feel less then her best, less than confident. "So Gavin it is..." eh. She felt weird not calling him sir. He seemed older as well, making it even harder for her to not refer to him as her superior. Darn her manners!

She smiled at the other new employee, and nodded at Bossman Gavin. Since Kammy didn't really know what he was in relation to her...she referred to him as that(IN HER HEAD ONLY.) She then turned around to claim a desk. She simply picked one closest, seeing as they all pretty much looked the same. She had brought some stuff in her bag to put on her desk if she had one, so she was pretty prepared. She carefully placed her bag on the desk and plowed through the stuff inside to find it. Aha! Two pictures, one of her parents and one of Drew to put on her desk. She missed them all so, so much! She then placed a stack of unused parchment and a new very nice Quill and some new black ink on the desk as well. She was all set. She didn't exactly know how much paper work she'd be doing...but well, she was prepared.

Nils walked into the office,swaying slightly.He had remembered working with Gavin before but they hadn't exactly done an extensive amount of work,an now being back here,he felt he shouldn't belong after not having done much in the apartment.Gavin was one of his only buddies in the department,an he was a helpful mentor,so Nils usually looked for him.But today,it seemed like he was extra busy with other workers.

Zora listened carefully when Gavin was explaining briefly to her. She wouldn't want to lose any of the details. She was so excited about her first day at work and she knew that it would be totally different from days when she was still at Hogwarts. She was the oldest and the most experienced at Hogwarts but here she was the least experienced one. However she was willing to learn.

She grinned when Gavin told her that she would be working with him. She was glad that at least she knew one of her co-workers.

"Thanks, Gavin,"Zora replied pleasantly with a wink."And um...one more question. Since I was new here so do I have to receive any training?"She got a little confused with that."I hope that Gavin will not find me annoying because of all the questions I have asked,"she thought to herself.
