Natasha was relieved - they seemed friendly enough.
'Nice to meet you,' she replied. Patricia? The name rings a bell... She gave a curt nod in the direction of Zora.
She wasn't quite sure what the word 'legit' meant exactly, but she chose not to express this apparent ignorance. 'It means I have to assess memory modifications, make sure they've been performed correctly, that kind of thing,' she said. 'Downside is, I'm on call and could be having to work at any time of the day - or even the night.'
Hopefully the pay's better then.
Ah, so Kammy was a Ravenclaw during her time at Hogwarts? 'My second favourite house,' Natasha said. Of course, they would assume that her favourite house was Gryffindor...
Natasha paused and took another look at Kammy. She was quite tall, with long, blonde hair and looked about the same age as herself - twenty-three. Hopefully she'd be a hard-worker, what with her being a Ravenclaw and everything. She paused again, before speaking again. 'Are you pureblood, then? I seem to recognise your surname...'
Kammy smiled. "Oh...that sounds cool. I'm a pensieve tech...so we both deal with memories! And I'm on call all the time, too! But I doubt we'll ever get called...nothing is really going on right now that they will need us so desperately. I wouldn't worry too much about that," she replied with a wave of her hand. Kammy wasn't worried.
She then laughed. Second favorite? "Oh come on, Ravenclaw should be your first...since it's obviously the best house," she joked, chuckling as she said this. She ran her hand through her hair casually.
Oh. Was...well, was Natasha one of those people? Kammy knew her cousins were like that..the purblood maniacs, and she despised them. The Morganzo's wouldn't fraternize with ANYONE with what they called 'lesser blood.' Hmph. That was a pile of dung to Kammy. She merely nodded, though, but her smile faded a bit. "Yes. I am. I'm not from an ancient pureblood line or anything, but I have relatives that are. Frankly, I don't really give an owl's hoot, but yes, I am," she explained in a very friendly, cheerful voice. She didn't want to sound like she suspected Natasha of being..'bloodist?'
"Are you?"

Kammy rather thought that Zora was right...they should be excited about starting this new chapter in their life. "I know, I am just so so lucky to be given this opportunity to work here. What made you want to jump straight from school to working here?" she asked curiously, because she remembered that when she was that age she did NOT want to have such a serious job quite yet. Even with being a hard-working Ravenclaw, she just didn't think she could have handled it.

Glancing over at two women holding a conversation, she sidled over to them to introduce herself. As she neared them, she realised that they were talking about their Hogwarts houses.
'Natasha Montgorse-Ayre, Memory Analyst,' she said by way of greeting. Hmm... not the most informal of greetings. This really isn't my thing... She took a deep breath and visibly relaxed. 'Um, I was a Gryff too... But that was six years back - it seems like a long time ago now.
"Of course I would love to take a good rest before I go and work here, just to settle down a bit from the school life and get used to the busy adulthood and it would be much much better but because of my brother..."Zora hesitated a bit and continued,"My brother was a very successful wizard indeed. Taking a deep breath, she continued, smiling,"However I think it was good for me in same kind of ways since it would be a lot better if I have a goal for myself, right?"
Just as Zora had said all the things that she would like to say, she noticed that another girl was standing next to them. She turned around and greeted her with a smile."Hi Natasha, I'm Zora."Knowing that Natasha was actually a Gryff too, Zora raised her voice and replied, sounding excited,"Really? It's good to know that someone was at the same house with me,"she chuckled."I have just graduated from Hogwarts indeed,"she replied cheerfully.

It was an ordinary day and it certainly seemed like one. Constance Nightingale had expected the birds to be chirping a different tune, the wind blowing the other way and sun to be shining in a flattering way. It was, after all, her first day as the department head. A small smile played along her lips as she made her way through the crowd and onto her own level.
It was her first time, she was expecting to get lost but her vanity failed any such expectations. Constance reached her level pretty easily after following the directions and what not.
Her heels clicked onto the floor and she had no reason to deny how she loved hearing them. The sun may not be shinning for her but her heels were working perfectly. Originally her decent agenda for the day was to go into her office and send out a memo regarding her arrival and a meeting. But it was just something that she could not resist - the moment her eyes found the area where the people she would be bossing around from now on were at, Constance came to a halt.
Turning around, she quietly scanned the room. They were everywhere. So involved .. in there chatting.
Folding her arms, Constance spoke out - clear and with enough volume to get everyone's attention. It was not loud, it was moderate - it was very Constance. "Why is no one working?" An eyebrow arched, like they were all in trouble.

Gavin had been busy working on files and reports and what not, his desk seeming to never be clear of such things. For a division that was more active then research like his older division of Experimental Charms, the Oblivia--no---Office of Misinformation tended to have a lot of paperwork to deal with. That and he was also looking over inter office files that had passed while they didn't have a department head. He had tuned out the chatting not paying attention to what others were dealing with for he had his own work to deal with.
The man looked up from his work as a new presence made her appearance, her words causing him to raise an eyebrow at first until he realized there was a chance that this was the new department head finally making an appearance and he quickly got to his feet after filing the file he had just finished working on.
"Um hello ...you must be the new head...yes?" he questioned politely as he approached the woman who seemed...thankfully... to be near the age he and Iridesca had been not the younger age of the ones before.

Emerald was lying in her chair in her cubical before a clear but loud voice spoke. It was...an unfamiliar voice, probably the new Department Head, which clearly isn't as cheerful as the last one.
Emmy stepped out of her cubical and spoke up, "Good morning Ma'm." greeted Emerald casually. "Why...it is because we were assigned no task to do. It seems like the world is all right these days." Emerald offered a polite smile.

It was a disappointment to Constance really - noticing the slow response she got. But a part of her had expected it. They had such vague expressions on their faces. Dumb and .. so unsure. Constance couldn't help but clicking her tongue to make a tsk-ing sound.
It was a disappointment until someone noticed and was alive enough to make his way toward her. Constance nodded when he spoke. "Yes, I am."

And another followed the guy. Constance returned the girls polite smile but .. barely. "Clearly that is the reason .. everyone seems so .. " she paused looking around. " .. dull" She had to bite her tongue from saying anything inappropriate. She did not know them - she could not pass judgement.
ALAS! ..
She was here now. It was time to shake things up a bit. And to get everyone's attention. Reaching for her wand, the new department head muttered a few words and pointed at the ceiling.
The department head's wand shoots out gold sparks followed by a red rocket type pipe zooming around the work area before exploding. Not an explosion type exploding but exploding that would make enough noise to get everyone's attention. Your eyes follow and you notice next the red pipe is twirling around a little oddly - when bright purple words appear in mid-air, you realize it's writing out a message for everyone to see:
The New Department Head Has Arrived.
Fix yourself up, look alive and head on to the conference room.
Constance Nightingale wants to meet you all.
The words remain in the air, shinning brightly - up your heads as a reminder for you all to hurry up and make your way to the conference room.
Looking pleased with her work, Constance turned around to leave and find her office. Of course, not before saying a quick: "See you soon," to the two employees who were fortunate enough to meet her first.
OOC: Come on guys! Let's look alive and make some awesome RP happen! Head on to the Confrence Room at the department!

At the sight of the new Department Head's disapproval of the employees assembled, Jade frowned. Seeing as she was new in the department not to mention in Britain, she had no idea what to expect. She was taken back that not a lot of people had taken notice of the new Head but then with all the chaos surrounding the changes, most likely noone had know who would get the position.
Before Jade knew what was going on the Head used her wand to announce that there would be a conference for all the employees soon. With that she left.
Well that was certainly an experience, Jade thought to herself as she returned to sorting out her new desk.

Gavin slipped into a more certain tone when the woman confirmed who she indeed was. "Pleasure to meet you," he replied with a polite smile. He was about to introduce himself and offer a hand to shake when another employee spoke up answering her original question so he stayed quiet for the moment. And the woman...Constance by her announcement...asked them all to meet her in the conference room for introductions, the man simply nodded.
"Of course," Gavin replied to her mention of seeing him there, the department liaison about to make his way to the conference room as well, hoping the rest of the employees would soon follow them. However thinking on it for a moment, he headed after Constance. "Perhaps I could be of assistance...finding your office or anything else..." he offered falling into stride.

It's good to know that someone was at the same house with me,"she chuckled."I have just graduated from Hogwarts indeed,"she replied cheerfully.
As Natasha inclined her head politely to Zora, the girl spoke up. Okay, well she wasn't really a girl, but she looked so young. She'd only just graduated from Hogwarts! She listened with interest to Zora's tale of how she felt overshadowed by her brother. It was not something Natasha had ever experienced herself, being an only child and, she thought to herself, a very high achiever.
Natasha raised her eyebrows when Zora mentiond that she, too, had been in Gryffindor. 'Ah, how... nice.' she replied hesitantly. Being a Gryff was not something Natasha was particularly proud of.
'Looks like we have to be going now,' Natasha said, indicating the lurid writing in the air cast by the department head. She headed off over to the conference room.

A pensieve technician? Natasha couldn't help thinking that this was a job that required a lot of skill. Pretty impressive for someone new to the department.
'My favourite house is Slytherin,' Natasha declared. 'Noble, cunning and pure...' She flinched as these words brought back the unpleasant memories of that fateful day when she had been sorted into Gryffindor. 'The sorting hat evidently made a mistake with me.' She scowled and her palms tingled at the thought of how she had raged and screamed that night.
Natasha's eyebrows shot up as Kammy explained how she didn't 'give an owl's hoot' for her noble heritage. She was even more shocked when she was asked whether she was pureblood. 'Of course I am!' Natasha exclaimed automatically. How could I not be? 'You must have heard of the Montgorse family!' Natasha was proud of her heritage and was not afraid to show it. 'Every single one of them a pureblood - no squibs, no marrying muggles - pureblood every one of them all the way back.' A self-assured look crept onto her face at this calming thought and she grinned at Kammy.

Dull? This office is not dull!
The people and the enviroment of this office is anything, but dull. She is just new here and knows nothing about this office once it's cheery. This is just clearly a currently quiet office that has nothing on its hands right now.
"Yes, of course. See you soon." said Emerald as the woman took off. She too, took one last sip of her morning coffee before taking off to the conference room.
"Of course I would love to take a good rest before I go and work here, just to settle down a bit from the school life and get used to the busy adulthood and it would be much much better but because of my brother..."Zora hesitated a bit and continued,"My brother was a very successful wizard indeed. "Right. Goals are what keep us going," she replied with a gentle smile at the younger woman. "But you should ALWAYS do what you want, and not what your mother wants!" she told her kindly.
"Trust me, I know how mothers can be. 23 going on 24 and mine still won't stop pestering me!" True, all the way. Mrs. Patricia was just REALLY keen on her daughter getting married and havin kids and all kinds of things! Sometimes it drove Kammy crazy!
Just then, the new head(apparently) walked in, looking very important and self-assured. Hmmm. Kammy simply smiled at the woman until she asked why no one was working. well, Kammy didn't even exactly know what she was supposed to doing...

She turned to Natasha, a frown on her face.
"Slytherin? Ah...my family is mostly Slytherin on my mom's side. The Morganzo's, are you familiar with them?" she asked curiously. Her uncle Darius had always said that all the 'pures' as he called them knew each other. "He's very..big on the pureblood thing," she commented, with a frown.
Montgorse family? To be honest..Kammy didn't know ANY of that stuff, that was her cousins! But she simply smiled and nodded. As the other woman explained her ancestry, Kammy merely chuckled. "That's pretty nice, actually. I don't know about mine...probably a muggle or two along the way, who even knows, really?" she replied pleasantly.
Then the head person lady said there was a meeting...in the conference room...eeehhh. Kammy supposed she had better get used to it, though. She stood up and brushed herself off.
"Come on, betting get going..." and she led the two into the other room.

Charms Developer. Gabi couldn't help but smile as she walked into the work areas of Level 3 that day with her new position in hand. It was about time they finally realized what an excellent charms experimenter she had been in Berlin and given her a title with REAL importance. Now that she finally knew what she was to be DOING here, she could unpack all her belongings on her desk--she'd refrained from doing so for a while, just in case she was offered a less than desirable position.
"Good morning everyone!" she said happily as she entered the area. She couldn't remember half these people's faces, let alone their names. Guess it was time she started paying attention to that kind of stuff. She couldn't help but be in a good mood today, though! She walked over to her desk and pulled the box out from underneath it, getting to work on setting up the picture frames of her husband and her young son Tucker.

Ashley walked into Level three with a smile on her face, eager to start working. She was a bit nervous as this was her first real job and she wanted to make a good impression. She decided it was best to give a quick group hello before she settled down at her desk. "Hi everyone, I'm Ashley." She located her desk with a smile and began unloading things from her bag. She decided to bring several framed pictures to work, always wanting to keep her family and friends close. She also brought her jade elephant, for luck of course.
Bradley breathed in as he stepped back into the office to start another day of work. He had missed the place he couldn't help but agree but now he was back. As he took more steps into the room he looked around and tugged at the end of his jacket. Brad couldn't help but notice the old members of the team and the new and he gave them each a smile. "Good Morning Everyone" He said politely walking over to his desk and placing his work papers on top.

She found her desk and sat down, it had a framed picture of her and her best friend since childhood, Mabel Faye, smiling out on her desk, along with multiple post it notes and messy notebooks. She placed her hot chocolate down, and smiled at the other members of her division, "Good morning everyone!"

"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."
Violet walked into her new Department workroom with a small smile on her face. The first day at new places was always the worst for her, since her quiet demeanor and naturally stern features sometimes deterred people from coming up to her and introducing themselves. As the various other workers in the room cheerfully called out general "Hello"s, Violet was starting to feel a little better about the situation.
"Hello everyone," Violet responded to everyone in the warmest fashion possible before setting her handbag down at her desk.

Kammy stumbled into the office, a little tired from staying up late the night before. So much to do lately, with Drew coming in town. Her flat needed a good cleaning, too. With a steaming mug of tea in ine hand, she plopped down at her desk. She glanced around the room, seeing new faces. Oh, to think that had been her only a year ago...weird. she was 24 now and still feeling like a child. That needed to change...drastically.

Merlin's Beard and for heaven's sake! So many new people!
Emerald looked around the busy work area with a slight interest. She's always looking forward to meet new people, and now look at this busy place, here's the chance to get to know the new arriving workers of Level 3.
Now where to start first? There are currently too many people around, and Emerald is having a slight difficult decision to make. Having a one by one chat wouldn't be a smart idea, considering the fact that it would take at least the whole day.
"Good morning everyone!" Emerald greeted in a louder, but a kind voice.

Gabi finished unpacking her desk rather quickly. She didn't have too many items of importance to put on it--pictures mostly, then some nice quills she bought in honor of her new job a few months ago, and finally just some important papers and such she wanted to keep track of. Really nothing too intense. She sat in her chair and watched keenly as the other employees all started to walk into the work areas. Everyone was cheerful enough, but no one was actually TALKING to anyone, and if Gabi was planning on spending the better part of her working life here, well, she wasn't about to just sit here quietly and not know a soul.
"Anyone need help setting up their desks?" she offered politely to the room. If anyone wanted to jump at the chance for her to help, they better take it NOW. Polite offers from Gabriela Schultz did not come very often.

Kammy, struggling to get something bulky out of her bag, heard the helpful voice. She looked up and spotted a brunette...
"Um...I'm not new here...but I could still use a bit of help..."she said, a little wearily. She had been here a year...and still no organized desk. Oops.
She heaved one last time, and out came the pensieve she had recently bought. It was small for a pensieve, but still a bit big. She still had no idea how to use it, either..

Ashley finished unpacking her things and looked at her desk. She had organized her pictures in the right corner and her family and best friends were smiling up at her. It was nice to have a piece of home with her in a new environment and she couldn't help but grin. In the middle of her desk sat some parchment and several quills. Towards the back, she had lined up several books. She wasn't sure if she'd be needing them but it couldn't hurt to be prepared. On the left side sat her jade elephant, the one her best friend had given her for luck. She closed her eyes, rubbing the little elephant. She needed all the luck she could get on her first day.
Hearing several coworkers talking, Ella looked up. She was anxious to meet everyone but didn't know how to go about it. There were quite a lot of people in the office and it would be overwhelming to go around to each one. She leaned back in her chair with a sigh, hoping if she looked friendly enough, someone would come to her.

Gabi smiled and hopped up from her chair. FINALLY something to do around here! She walked over to the woman's desk and took in the scene...my goodness. Someone REALLY needed to come up with an organization plan for their workspace, that was for sure.
Her eyes widened when the woman pulled out...was that a PENSIEVE? Why would she need one of those? She blinked once or twice before finally saying something. "What do you need that for?" she asked, reserving for judgement for the time being. For all she knew the Obliviator's stored the memories of people they zapped...or something.
