"You're welcome," Gavin said before nodding at Bradley's question. "Yes to one and I'd like to think so on the other. I was briefly division head...when there was a division head." he answered, inwardly berating himself for the last admittance. The relative stranger didn't really need to know that but he didn't let any discomfort show, his face still his usual friendly expression.

Gavin chuckled at her words. "Well I appreciate the compliment but you're actually almost 10 years off," he informed the young woman. "Its always nice to hear you look younger then you are though," he added with a smile in hopes not to have her feel bad.

Bradley smiled at the man and gingerly too a seat at his new desk, he looked around it and noticed all the normal things you would find at a desk. Parchment, quills etc. Brad looked up once the other guy - he still needed to find his name out - finished talking, puzzlement written on his face.

"When there was a division head?" He quoted, what did he mean by that?

Gavin bit the inside of his cheek as the man responded with a look of confusion on his face. "Sorry...I was rambling," he said at first. " But each of the divisions used to have an employee as head of the division," he added feeling he needed to explain that much.

Brad nodded his understanding at Gavin's comment, he wasn't sure whether he was please or not about that comment, well curious as he would have liked to know the feeling of being division head.

Nevermind.

"What happened to the position?" He asked still trying to make conversation.

That was a good question and unfortunately Gavin couldn't really answer it. Even after him and Chris, who'd moved up to work under Tasha coincidentally, you would have thought there would be others but the ministry had gotten rid of it as part of their restructuring.

"I don't really know," he finally replied with a shrug. "It's just gone."

Emerald took a seat at her cubic, sipping her coffee. She's not a big fan of coffee or anything, just that it wakes her up. She'd much rather prefer tea. Emmy laid back on her chair and closed her eyes. It wouldn't be the best time to disturb her then, nor that anyone would even want to. She looked as if she was meditating. But no, just relaxing from this tiring day.

Slowly, she opened her eyes and sat up. Emmy felt a little urge to talk to someone. Anyone. Because of this busy day, she never really had anytime to socialize with anyone yet. If nothing gets interesting, she might want to go home early and rest.

"Well that seems fair i suppose" Brad said looking at Gavin. After another moment he took a seat at his desk and wondered what he should say next, to continue the conversation. Or he could end it? Start one with more people at his station? So many questions in his mind so little time...

"So what do i do now?" He asked.

Gavin guessed it was fair, not having any one employee being really head over anyone else. Especially since it was probably difficult to choose what with almost everyone being new and all.

"That I can't really answer, though looking over files might help," the former charms worker suggested. "As for me, I should get back to my own work," Gavin added taking his leave to head back to the blue area.

Coming up to his work area, Gavin noticed a fellow worker and offered a polite smile. "Good day Emmy," he greeted the obliviator as he sat down. "How are things going?"

Brad nodded at Gavin response and turned round to face his desk again still unsure what she should do. He began to drum his fingers for a moment looking around him before he decided to pull some files towards him and have a flick through.

Bradley still hoped to make friends with the people from the cluster of desks he was sat with and looked up at them regularly unsure how to say anything. After a moment he closed the file he was on and smiled at them..."Hello"

Here's that Gavin guy! Emerald smiled politely back. "Hello Gavin, I'm fine, just had a tiring day that's all." said Emerald. "You?"

Emerald turned around and saw someone else she had never met before. She smiled warmly at him when he said hello. New...prossibly. "Hey, I'm Emerald Skye, you can call me Emmy." She greeted and introduced herself.

Brad was glad when someone responded to his greeting, he could finally make more friends. Smiling he stood up and walked towards her. "Hai, i'm Bradley Wills but you can call me Brad" He said as a response holding his hand out to be shoke.

Skye sighed as she sat alone, drumming her fingers on her desk aimlessly, looking around. She had expected the ministry to be exhillirating, exciting, full of missions and tasks, but so far no. It was just boring. Her denim blue eyes flickered here and there for something interesting, but nothing met her gaze. Twirling a long dark blonde curl in her dainty hand, she sighed again, and allowed her eyelids to droop.

Brad looked across the desks to see a women - half asleep - drumming her fingers. He smiled to himself, she seemed to be the other women he was going to work with so felt the need to introduce himself. Standing up from his seat he made his way over to her and perched on the edge of her desk

"Hello, I'm Bradley Wills. Seems we're working together"

"Nice to meet you Brad," Heehee, cool name. "So are you new to this Department?" Emerald asked curiously.

Brad smiled at his new friend Emmy, glad that he was actually making friends, and nodded at her question, "Yeah i'm new. Are you?" He also asked smiling at her. "It's nice to meet you too."

"New to the Department." said Emmy, taking a last sip of her coffee then putting it down. It's getting more interesting when meeting new. "So where are you from?"

Brad looked down at Emmy's drink and wished he had his own, he did wish for some tea but maybe later. He folded his arms for something to do before he answered the innocent question of his friend, "The countryside originally, but i live here in London now. You?" He asked.

Countryside? Sounds fascinating! "I was born in New York City, moved to Long Island when I was 4-" Or 6...Emmy couldn't remember. "-then I moved here in London when I was ten. My dad thought Hogwarts was...a great wizarding school. He and mum wanted out education here." Even though, Emmy came from America, you can barely hear the accents.

America? Woah, he hadn't been expecting that, he couldn't hear and accent of anything. "Do you miss America?" He asked as a way of starting conversation. He'd never been there, though he had wanted to at one point. Maybe in the future but now he was going to stay here. He liked it here. "I didn't think there was a school like Hogwarts in America though..." He added, more of a way of thinking.

Emmy has never really actually thought about America for a really long time. "I guess not." She replied slowly. "I don't have much good memories there." Hogwarts was the fun part. "No, no place like Hogwarts there. The wizarding school there was brand new. No fun!."

Brad had to laugh at her last comment, he couldn't think of ever going to a wizarding school where there's no fun. That's the thrill of it all. He wouldn't have not gone to Hogwarts it was the last thing he ever did, he enjoyed himself tones there. "Yeah i can see where your getting at! I had so much fun at Hogwarts" He explained smiling.

"Do you ever want to go back, you know to America?" He had to ask though, if it was him he would have someday...

"Umm..." Emerald thought about it for a while. "Well...I do want to visit sometimes, but I'd really rather stay here." said Emmy slowly. "Do you ever want to go to America? Someday?"

Brad had to think that one over, did he? He really wasn't sure. Shrugging he said, "I'm not sure, maybe someday but not soon i'm far too busy right now" Once he stopped speaking he moved so that he was sat better on the edge of the desk and smiled down at Emerald, "You should...go back someday, you know get to know where your from and all" He added.

Emerald smiled. This guy is being so nice. "Thanks for the advice. I will think about that. Maybe I can take you with me!" Emmy said half joking. "You should really see the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building...oh...there are just too many things to see!"

Brad laughed at her excitement, he knew that she should go back she certainly missed it. "See, it'll do you good to go back.." He smiled at her, "You could be my private guide" He half joked while laughing again.

"It'll be my pleasure to see these sights with you" He again joked, Brad stood up and did a mock bow for Emerald.
