In your post just post entering, signing the visitor's log (in you rpost just do a short little quote or signing in with Name, Department/position in MoM, place of work if applicable, and reason for visit) There is no receptionist being RPed so simply hang tight for a Level 6 employee!

Can you imagine if for some reason the instructors and/or testers CANNOT go to Hogwarts next term?? Is she supposed to wait until she's 19 years old (or close to that age) for an actual license?

That makes zero sense.

Well, she was trying to smile as best as she could, but she was actually nervous, so... it was best not to smile. What if they encountered someone on a bad day and they decided they HAD to wait for Hogwarts lessons, like, that would be so terrible. She'd have to take the lesson with sixth years. And she wasn't sure she liked them. "Do you reckon it can be done quickly?" Eyes on her bestie for a moment.

That was the important bit, she was confident in no splinching, but she didn't know if this was going to take long or not.

Without further ado... she wrote her name and purpose on the visitor's log. We're all visitors here, you know. Especially considering there was no one around.

They said you had to be of age to take these and that wait had taken long enough. None of that waiting for the school seminar rubbish. She wouldn't be having it and she wouldn't be leaving here without her license either otherwise this trip would be a waste.

Lex might have opted to sit if she wasn't feeling so restless and anxious to get it all over with. Nothing wrong with standing and pacing she supposed. "I don't think this'll take any time at all. We're brilliant witches and we don't take a century to learn things so..." Why should it take long. It shouldn't even take all day because they still had to explore MLE.

After Lottie stepped from the book, Lex took the quill and scribbled.

If that didn't send the right message then she didn't know what would...unless the person happened to have a bad temper...saw it and thought they were being impatient and rude, but what were the odds of that happening?

No nerves here, just raw impatience. She had, afterall, been waiting MONTHS for this.

Gabi had to get out of that insane technology lab. She wasn't sure WHY the healers of St. Mungos were suddenly SO CONCERNED with their mental health and forcing them all to do yoga and knit and do pottery or whatever nonsense they had come up with...so she was going to hide on Level 6 and work on her symposium. Yes, that was what she would do.

From her office, the little DING DING DING of the charms she'd placed in the waiting area went off, alerting her that there were visitors. Yes, VISITORS. Plural! How fun! Smiling and straightening her skirt, she walked over to the young ladies with a broad grin.

"Hello! I see you're here for apparition licenses today...have either of you ever taken the test or the class before?" she asked them, taking a clipboard from the welcome desk and a quill to take down a few questions from them.

"That's true." Lottie nodded at her bestie. They were both rather gifted with magic, and she hoped Lex will focus just enough with the theory. The Hogwartian had no issues with it, really, but she was relying on Lex's excitement to make her pay attention.

The minute Lotus saw the woman with the bright smile, she got a little bit less nervous about this. Seems like she was in a good mood, yes? Yes! However, the woman forgot one very important piece of information. While she knew their names because she had the clipboard, they were left in the dark not knowing who she was.

See, Lotus wasn't planning on wasting her time with a secretary of sorts, but the seventh year still smiled, "Hello, Miss...," ????? After clearing her throat, she answered, "Not really, no, but I'm not exactly unfamiliar with apparition, personally." Side-along apparition was a thing. Mmmhmm.

Of course it was true, Lottie and things were going to work out just fine. No worries on the side of the Gryffindor. They were here to get this thing done, another milestone that came right after magic outside school and Lex was READY.

Perky one too! This could go either way. Alexa used to appreciate the especially happy amongst them...until Professor Smiles happened. Now...Lex smiled at the woman but it was somewhat apprehensive. The lack of pink was something good though so there was always that.

As for the questions, she nodded toward Lottie. "What she said." Personal experience with it and all the important things that mattered.

"A couple of our friends took the classes and the test though and one or two of 'em might have mentioned something." Making them almost experts. So much so that well, who needed theory??? Straight to the magic shall we? Yes? Brilliant. Where was the room you went poof in?
