"Lovely," he said with a grin as he picked up his white mug and sipped his coffee. "We can begin to think about possible locations in just a bit. Would you like something to drink? I believe you fancy strawberry tea, right?" He summoned a tea cup just in case.

"I've been fine. I visited one of my grandchildren for the first time in a long while. He is so big now. Will be going to Hogwarts when the time is right I believe." He ran his fingers through his hair. "Your absence did not go unnoticed, if I may be so bold to say. And not just by me."

How did he know she liked strawberry tea? "Strawberry Tea would be lovely." she answered as she took the tea and sipped. As always, strawberry tea is delicious.

She listened intently to Kaishu's words about his grandchild. She was about to say how great that was, when he mentioned about noticing her absence. She almost choked on her tea, but decided not to show it. Hanging her head low a bit, she blushed. "I..I see...I apologize for that...I hope i didn't bother anyone too much about my absence...but I'll make sure to put in extra effort in work now that I'm back."

Kaishu nodding approvingly as she sipped her tea. Nothing like a spot of tea to make one motivated for work, right? Perhaps, although Kaishu was more of a coffee person.

"The department has been quiet, so things are alright here," he chuckled. He swirled his cup a bit to make sure that the remaining bit of coffee mixed with the water. "Were you off visiting your family?"

Camellia sighed in relief and nodded her head. "I...I was...my real father....well...I've been visiting him for sometime now...but he passed away not so long ago..." she bit her lip trying her best not to cry. After all, truths about her past had been revealed so she can't really say that she's emotionally stable right now. "but...I'm quite glad i was able to be with him on his last moments." now that's the good side, right?

The soft smile on Kaishu's face faded instantly. She had lost her father. Should she really be back here just yet? It had taken him years to get over the loss of his wife, years, and yet here Camellia was back in London and putting herself back into her work.

Resting a hand on her shoulder, the way that only a father knows how to, he leaned over just a bit and rubbed her shoulder. "Camellia, if you need more time, I understand. Losing someone so precious to you...it can take time to heal. Some...never do."

Merlin, this conversation was getting heavy all of a sudden and he leaned back in his seat again.

"So...how about we think about some locations for those emergency portkeys?"

With her own copies of posters floating behind her, Marina got into the work room with a big smile. THEY WERE GOING TO POST GREEN THINGS AROUND! That was super awesome. She headed to the three people with posters. "Hey guys," she started recognizing two of them. "Hi, Kyle. Hi, Damon." She'd already met them but the other lady was not recognizable for her, Marina gave her a smile, "I'm not sure, I met you before. I'm Marina Stewart." Extending her hand to the woman.

"So, we're going to hang those posters around, isn't that cool?" She grinned at them. Yep, she was acting a bit childish for a twenty seven years old lady but meeeeh who cares. "Did you arrange who goes to where yet?" They should separate and go to different departments each, right? Convince the heads of departments and all.

"Nice to meet you Hermione," Damon said with another smile before extending his hand towards the girl. "I am apart of the 3R Commissioners as well," Damon said with a polite little nod. Was it just him or had their division within the department expanded quite a bit since when he first got here?

"Nice to meet you Kyle," Damon said, with a little smile.

Damon was about to ask Hermione and Kyle if they'd planned out how they wanted to go about addressing each of the department heads when he heard someone say his name. Turning around he spotted Marina whom he'd met at the meeting not too long ago about how to make the ministry more environmentally friendly. "Hey Marina," Damon said a warm smile back. "You know I was just about the ask the same thing," Damon said with a little chuckle when she asked if they had arranged who went where yet. "I thought maybe we could do one or two people to each department head?" Damon suggested, looking at his fellow Commissioners. "I think all of us going at once to one department head might be a bit overwhelming, but maybe if two of us went to each department head it might be nice. A little back up incase they're having doubts about whether or not they want the posters up." Not that Damon would understand why someone would be opposed to environmentally encouraging posters, but you never knew.

Marina nodded. "Going as a group might be really intimidating. So.." She moved to her desk and snatched a parchment, "We have to write down the departments and then divide ourselves into groups." Waitwaitwaitwait...Marina straightened up and looked at her cowrokers, "Er..who is the leader of our committee? Is there any more commissioners about to join us?" If no, they'd start dividing and arranging the work.

Figuring that she could at least write the names of the departments and the people standing here, she picked a quill and started writing, leaning her butt on the table's edge as she faced the group.

Damon had shifted slightly so that the four of them were more in a circle around each other. Circles were always good when discussing plans of action, yes? He listened intently as Marina spoke, tilting his head slightly so he could see what she was writing down on the parchment more easily. "I think there are one or two more people that we are missing, right?" Damon really needed to learn his fellow Department members' names and how many of them there were. After all their department wasn't that big so there really was no reason to be this uninformed about who all his coworkers were.

"So, from your list Marina it looks like there are seven department heads that we'll need to speak to. We could split into groups of two's and have each group of two go to two department heads, and then one group of two will go to three department heads," Damon offered. "Who will we need to speak to for the other rooms? Or are those places in the Ministry that we can just post a poster without worrying about getting in trouble?"

Hermione listened to all of the chatter and agreed with it all - It would be best if they split up to go to the different departments...

"Well the memo said that all public areas did not require permission - so anything on the 'Others' list is fair game, although I think it probably would be polite to ask the security guard before we attached anything to his kiosk

Knowing that his employees were hard at work, Rafael quietly slipped from his office to the greenhouses before he could be noticed. If they really needed him, they would find him.

OOC: Hey recycling peeps. Remember that not all of the areas you lot have listed under 'other' are pulbic areas. The Security Office is strictly MLE, and there for will require the head of that department's (Tegz) permission. Make sure you read the thread discriptions of all the areas, espeically those that have a department tag attatched to the thread title, to be sure your allowed to post there without permission.

Also, Rafael is temporarily overseeing all of level four, so no need to ask about creatures, permission already granted there. Oh, and watch yourselves on level two.

Marina listened to her co-workers and nodded. "Like Hermione said, the places under Others are common and we can post anything there." She paused staring down at the list, "So, let's say Kyle and Hermione go together while Damon and I go on our way." Another pause, "listen, my best friend's a secretary at the minister's office so we could take that one?...in fact we can take the first three and you guys take the second three departments. Are you, guys, okay with that?" She looked from Hermione to Kyle. Any suggestions would be most welcome, really, she was just trying to offer the best suggestions. "There are only one department left, considering that Magical Creatures Regulation shares the level with us we don't really need to include it here, right?"

"And then we can meet here and go to the common places after reporting to each other about who posted the posters and who wasn't green enough to do it."

"All of that sounds good to me," Damon said with a nod of the head after Hermione and Marina had finished speaking. "It might not hurt to be careful as to which of the places listed under "Others" is actually public or if a specific department is in charge of it just to make sure," Damon said as he looked over the parchment. "Never hurts to double check." It was nice to having such a great group of people to work with.

So Violet had finally found her way into the workroom where she would hopefully be earning her wages for the foreseeable future. She took an empty seat and looked around. People everywhere; they all seemed to know exactly what to do. Violet didn't. She glanced around, hoping to catch someone's eye; hoping someone would notice the "new girl" and help her out.

Sigrid stood back to watch as the Three Rs division got to their task at hand. And since most of the individuals with whom she was having a conversation with prior to work starting belonged to that division, it left Sigrid able to finish organizing her belongings.
She set a few photographs down on her desktop; which included herself with her family (mother, father, and two older brothers), several of her cousins, herself and some friends while she was still in the United States, and finally, one of herself and her previous coworkers on the steps of the museum.
After placing them just right, Sigrid set a piece of glass on her desktop, and over the photos in order to protect them.

Afterwards, the young woman took a seat at her desk and pulled out a reference book of endangered species of plants, and their habitats. It was always good to read up on things.

Kyle grabbed her stack of flyers and the parchment and gathered her thoughts. She turned towards Hermione and smiled. "We have Transportation, Games and Sports, and Mysteries. Which shall we take first?"

Rufin caught sight of someone looking a little lost and stood up to go and see if they were alright. "Hello, first day?" he asked, smiling. "Need a little help?" Rufin stood in front of the woman's desk. "I'm Rufin, welcome to Environmental." he said.

Violet looked up when she heard footsteps. Someone had spotted the new girl in town and come over to see if she was alright. Violet smiled at him. "Oh, hi! I'm Violet - the new Jr Oceanologist." Violet's cheeks flushed. "Um... yes please. I don't really know what I'm supposed to be doing or where I'm supposed to be or who anyone is or..." She broke off, gasping for breath. She looked up at Rufin, a little embarrassed by her outburst.

"Lovely to meet you, Violet. I'm the Senior Plant Removal Agent." he said, smiling at the woman. "It's alright, I was a little disorientated on my first day, if you check the notice board there should be something on there for your department." he explained, gesturing to the notice board.

Violet smiled at the man as she stood up and made for the noticeboard he was pointing at. Gee, this getting-a-new-job was going to take some getting used to. At least it seemed like she had decent colleagues though. "Thank you, Rufin," She said as she moved past him.

Kyle smiled as she scratched off the Transportation Department from the list. Mr. Armen Recard was a delightful man and loved the idea of postijng flyers.

Hermione arrived back from the Department of Mysteries and felt like she was walking on air. The department head had been a complete joy to talk to and he had given them permission to post the posters anywhere in his department.

Finding the parchment memo, Hermione took her quill and crossed out the Department of Mysteries from the list and also added that permission had been granted.

The Junior Oceanologist sat rooted to her chair, absorbed in the latest addition to her oceanoizadry shelf. Violet was intrigued by the mystery the muggles made of a simple kelpie. They went to all kinds of lengths to get pictures and proof of this "legendary monster". Violet snorted. "It's just a kelpie!!" She accidentally said out loud. The book she was reading was about muggle mythology and legends surrounding water creatures and beings. Not strictly speaking oceanology, but, plenty of ocean-based myths included. Violet was preparing for the upcoming field trip, but she hadn't been briefed on what they were doing or even where they were going yet. So far, she was just reading up on creatures, plants and myths for various areas. Some places had merfolk, some didn't. Some places looked much more likely to be a site for a plant-related trip, others creature. It hadn't been that long since she had finished her degree, so Violet was finding the stuff was still quite fresh in her mind. Although plants were more her forte than beasts, unless you were talking about merfolk - in which case Violet was the girl to ask.

The frayed sleeves of the turquoise tweed jacket that hung over Laura's thin frame tickled her hands. She inconspicuously rolled her wrists every so often to fend off the peevish sensation while balancing an empty mug, her usual black leather bag, and a file folder. She wore flats in lieu of her trademark heels and a pair of thick-rimmed reading glasses sat on the bridge of her lightly-freckled nose.

Reaching her desk after traversing through the cubicles of the work area, Laura dropped the file folder, which landed with a soft, satisfying smack, and relieved herself of the other things she had been carrying. Then, she picked up her empty mug again and left her desk. There was no time for sitting just yet.

Laura skirted around the different sets of cubicles and approached the set belonging to the Environmental Permitting office, clutching her mug in both hands. Things were a bit slow in their division, and this was the perfect opportunity for them to sort out some of the other issues at hand. Eager to begin, Laura casually leaned against the closest desk and waited for one of her employees to make an appearance.
