As you walk into the daycare itself, you'll notice it's not as it was before. Anthony Cresswell made good on his promise and banished all the stark white surfaces to another dimension. In their place, you'll now see tasteful stripes and colors adorning the entire room. Everything is now vibrant and chic looking. There are curved shelves with brightly colored toys stacked neatly in place. Little tables and chairs are set in a cluster for the kids that are old enough to color and handle crayons (without trying to eat them!). For the older kids, a separate area has been set to the side so that they can play muggle board games, chess, or cards. For their reading pleasure, they also have a separate bookshelf that houses literature more suited for growing minds. Everything...in some way...is considered educational. Down to the smaller building blocks housed in individual crates.

In another part of the room, comfy chairs and cushions are set up. Anyone up for a good story? This is where one of our wonderful ministry daycare attendants will bring the babies and toddlers to read to them...or maybe just make up a story of their own. Either way, its the picture of comfort.

Do you work for the Ministry and have children? Then bring them here! Whatever the age, we'll watch them while you work!

Bradley was hiding from the mess that was his healer's station. He couldn't deal with the Mungo's people anymore and had just walked off mumbling something about needing a break. What better place to hide then in the daycare with Athena. He could fit in with the kids just fine. That is if people were bringing their kids in with all of this health stuff going on. Brad wouldn't blame them if they weren't.

He figured she must be out or something. Being 30 years old didn't stop Brad from going and grabbing a coloring book and some crayons. There was something very relaxing about coloring. He perched himself on the short chairs. It wasn't like it was the first time he'd done this. He'd always stopped in when the work was slow. His knees were not going to like him later.

Athena Smith had no idea what was happening around the healer station where Brad was usually sitting at. Sitting in her chair in the reading circle she only had one child with her today who was a toddler and who was currently sitting on her her lap as she read aloud a silly wizard book with pictures she found rather distasteful for children.

Her attention though was diverted to the front of her room when Brad walked in and went straight to the coloring table and sat down in a child!chair. This didn't alarm her one bit. In fact Brad was usually in her room on slow days and people knew to look for him there if he was needed for any reason and wasn't in his room. "Hey, why don't you go get some dolls together and we can play with those." she said putting the girl down and watchign her run over to where all the dolls were kept in the girls bin of toys.

"Brad..... You ok?" she looked at her friend from her chair as she rocked a bit.. He didn't look very okay but it was Brad and you never really knew with him sometimes.

Brad colored in the dinosaur on the page. Why this was so relaxing the man would never know. It felt good to act like a total child for a few moments. Short chair and everything.

He looked up from his coloring and gave Athena a smile and a shrug. "I just had to get away from my station for a bit. Couldn't take the chaos anymore." He didn't know how much Athena knew about what was going on with Mungo's but he knew her and Anthony were pretty close too. Either way, Bradley was clearly not in a good mood.

She had an eyebrow raised as she watched him color a bit seemingly really into it and all. Maybe the girl could color instead with them. Looking over to the girl who was still digging through the bin Athena got up and skip hoped over to the table and sat on it, not in a chair but on the table itself.

"What Chaos? Are you busy? Where Jamie and Caroline and all?"maybe she should of stopped to see him first this morning or Anthony, which she also didn't do so the blonde was clueless as to what the man was talking about."your red dinosaur is pretty rad though." rad!? since when the hell did she say 'rad'?

Brad cracked a smile. Leave it to Athena to say something like that when he was grumpy. "He's better than rad. He's pretty dang awesome."

Whoa whoa whoa whoa, Hold the phone! "Mungo's is doing what!?" Narrowing her eyes she looked at him and dropped her hands onto the table. "Nothing looked different when i came in the morning." Then again she wasn't really paying attention. "What's Anthony say about this? who said they could... Health evals.. isn't that your job?"

You could say she was utterly confused as she stared at her friend pressing for answers that he was sure he didn't have. maybe she should go talk to Anthony being his right hand man and all. She also suddenly regretted not going to see him this morning. she would of known all of this.

Good. Athena seemed just as shocked as he was by the whole thing. "Forced health evals of everyone who works here." Bradley didn't even want to think about the kids that they might involve. The daycare was still up and running while they were in the asylum after all.

Bradley kind of just stared at her. "Dude. They replaced the whole desk pretty much." They used to have a nice wooden table now it was disgusting cheap thing they brought in themselves. Not to mention the sofa they'd moved up there.

"He's just as angry about the whole thing as I am. He had no say in the matter whatsoever. He wasn't even the one who approved it." Bradley nodded. "Exactly. It's my job and Jamie's job and Caroline's job and even Anthony's job. They just like sticking their nose into everyone's business."

"They have other motives they have to." Athena said as her eyes went up to the child who was sitting on the floor playing dolls with herself. "we have to figure out what they're up to." and by 'we' she meant her. She could do that alone she had plenty of experience with getting information from people and sneaking around. "is anyone sitting at your desk? i would just take it back and move all their crap." they had no right to come in and take over HIS work area. they could of asked for a room they're were a few empty ones on the floor.

"You are awesome." Brad needed to tell her that. It was just nice to see that she was on the same page as him and Anthony. He shook his head. "There's no one up there. Yet. I've already been moving some things back where they belonged." If they were moved again when he got back up there those healers were dead two times over.

He raised an eyebrow. "Isn't that the first thing you do every morning?" Very out of character there Athena.

Yes, yes, tell her something she didn't know, Bradley. "I'm aware, yes i know, thank you." she said tossing some hair behind her shoulder all sassy like. "and you decided to take a break and come colour me a picture, yeah?" that was clearly his motivation for coming here and not moving his stuff back all at once. His Dino!picture was pretty nice though, she might just have to pin it up on her picture wall

Brad laughed a bit. He needed a laugh today. "Watch the ego. You're starting to sound like me." At least he wasn't as bad as he used to be when it came to that. He shrugged. "Hey, at least i learn from the best." Brad was King of conceited and egotistical comments, he was. Something that Athena admired. She wasn't one to boost her own ego often but when she did she did it well. "i would of paid to see you blow up at one of them, i really would have." she poked his forehead causing his head to tilt back a little.

"i never said you weren't close to him you can do what you want outside of work hours." like she did but they didn't need to go into that. "just telling you my job title is all." it was fancy sure but he being head healer he probably got paid more than she did, at this job anyway.

Brad chuckled. "You got that right." There. That was him being more himself. He was still not in a good mood though. But he was better. Talking to Athena always made things better. He cracked a grin. "I haven't blown up...yet. I've magically managed to keep my cool." He laughed at the poke.

That wasn't his point but whatever. That really didn't matter right. "Gotcha. But I knew that already."
