Selina had all the good snacks on her, and Vivi looked them over thoughtfully before stealing a brownie and adding it to the top of her nachos. A little cheese never hurt anything, and she needed a hand free in case there was more hugging required.
It was important that Selina get out to the signing table at some point, not only because she needed to be famous and important like Vivi already knew she was, but because this was a male dominated sport and little girls needed to see Selina-fabulous and aspire to grow up like that. Vivi aspired to grow up like that herself.
"So here's the deal. Not everyone's here yet, but there's a growing crowd of Quidditch impressiveness already. Not much in the way of lines, though, so you could probably linger a bit if you wanted. Max isn't even in there, I don't think. But if you go early, maybe you can steal all the chairs and make a little Harpies castle of awesome out of them." That's totally what Vivi would do.[/color]
Vivi had stolen some of her food. Thank Merlin she loved her roommate or else there would have been some very unprofessional complaining about food thievery in the form of calling for justice. General waving. And making a fool of herself by doing what she did best.......loud yelling.
Selina opted for question time instead, "So...cheese on the brownie. Is it any good?" Sometimes cheese questions had to be asked. Life or death.
And Vivi was giving her the lowdown. "Where IS your boyfriend?" Shouldn't he have been on the arm of the Vivi? What else was more important then THAT? He needed to sort out his priorities ASAP. And also buy Vivi a house near lots of take away places.
Blink. Blink. A chair castle to mark the awesomeness that was the Harpies. Now that was a great idea. She wanted to do it NOW. Like, right now. "And if I'm making this castle........can I steal the other teams seats too?" Just to make it generally bigger.
Vic promised he'd go to the special events planned by the other departments. He was pretty much the only one who had promised to go without an official task handed to him. That was before he knew the nature of said events, but now that everything was clear and it turned out to be a sporty event, he GLADLY dressed in his casual attire and strolled into the 'food' area.
It was slightly disappointing that January was too busy for this, though, she said she'd try to make it but he wasn't going to be the needy boyfriend. He was mature. He was a mature man and he wasn't-- OH HAII BRANXTON! Vic grinned and waved at the young brat lady. Also, there was Simon, he nodded towards the lad as well.

He took another slip of water. Maybe he should finish off his water because he had a feeling that this would take a little while.
Not going to take up much of his time? He could have been doing with his water by now. Ahhhh that's it. See he knew she had something to do with a team. Catapults manager. That's it. He blinked "It's not bad. I love mentoring them." He nodded. He really did. They were good guys. Was she doing what he thought she was doing. He wasn't going to lie she made a great argument. "Well thank you Mrs. Maroon. But my agent and I will start talking off season changes. In the off season." Not that he had any intention to make any changes in the off season. He had been playing for the tornados for what? He counted in his head 13 no 14 years now. The only plans he had was to retire with the tornadoes.
Not bad, hmmm, [b] “It’s not bad now, but remember Cameron you aren’t getting any younger. Those boys are going to be the up and coming and they are going to not care how much you mentored them. You need somewhere where you can really shine. My team could be the perfect place. You could be the face of the catapults. She eyed him a bit and smiled sweetly.
Chuckling a little more flirtatiously she had her moves to get what she wanted? Not that she wouldn’t anyway, “Well of course you would have to bring your manager involved and everything has to be done in the off season, but let’s face it dear. You aren’t getting any younger and a nice size pay raise with a catapults contract could help you out being a single parent and all.” Of course she was up on the personal lives of the players she wanted, that was a good tactic to have. “I know she has to be getting more and more expensive. Clothes, makeup, trying to impress my step son that she’s dating. All that takes a good bit of money.” Yes she would use that idiot boy if she needed to, honestly what any girl would see in him she wasn’t sure.
She knew he made plenty with the tornadoes, but she was willing to offer a great deal more. She typically wouldn’t waste money on an older player like this but his statistics didn’t lie, he was still up on his game.

Super cool CELEBRITY mascot is here! Did anyone want any pictures? He'd just buzz around in the mean time.
They were here, they were actually here! Isa was so excited. She had been learning her English and practicing super hard, but in her excitement she was in full Spanish. "Mummy.. there.. Mummy there." She was pointing at things for her mother to see. This was so fun! They had just arrived by portkey right before entering and her brown eyes were everywhere. The seven year old wondered where her uncle was. "Do you think we will see Uncle Jorge? What about Auntie Mariel?" The woman wasn't her aunt just yet, but she felt close enough.
"Look a bee, Mummy look." She bounced towards it still forgetting to use English as she spoke. "Hola!" She waved at buzzing mascot. Finally remembering she had to use English she looked up at him. "Can I picture?" She was still learning translation of things so it was difficult with being so excited to get her sentences out clearly.

Mariel had wandered this way not so much in search of sustenance, though that would soon be forthcoming, but more to make sure things were still running smoothly. She had been over at concessions shortly before they opened to the public and everything seemed to be in order, but now that they were plenty of people around, she wanted to make sure things continued to go on without a hitch.
She did feel herself growing rather hungry, she realized, as she wandered through, green eyes glancing at the faces present there before looking at the decorated tables. She'd have to hunt down Jorge and see if he wanted to get something to eat in a little bit maybe. If she could find a few minutes to sit down. Her eyes settled on a table obviously decked out for the Kestrals and she chuckled at the little leprechaun hopping around there. Lucky really was the best. She was glad he could come even if she was highly disappointed that none of the players from her favorite team opted to show up.
Was that.. Spanish she heard? Mariel stared at the leaping leprechaun a moment, her brain processing the child's voice, before turning in the direction of the sound. "Isa?" she spoke her surprise as she saw the young girl with the Wimbourne mascot. The 29 year old headed that way, her smile growing as she reached the girl and her mother. "Hola.. what are you doing here?" she asked in the bit of conversational Spanish she could speak. "Jorge didn't tell me you were coming," she added, slipping back into English as she glanced up at Cassandra with a wide smile. "What a nice surprise."

It was a ministry-put-on ordeal and she just..she wanted to attend. Maybe Dmitry or Derek would be here? She hoped! Especially with Dmitry, heh. She had her hair in an elegant braid, which she swept behind her back as she...stoked out the the..concessions. >__>
Food was food, ya' hear?
Ember may have been TINY, but she loved her some FOOD. OOoooooOOOOhhh! All the snacks looked so PRETTEH. She wanted everything! But of course she would have to pick and choose...DEFINITELY she wanted those sugar cookies! As if she needed any MORE hyperness--she was about to place her order when she noticed the guard.
A SECURITY GUARD?!
Ember bounced over, smiling and waving. "Hi there! You are so appreciated! Just wanted to let you know, sir!" She said, nodding a lot. "People often forget the importance of even just the security! So thank you lots!" she said, beaming. She wanted to show her appreciation--even for those most overlooked! "But at least this is a fun event, right? I'm Ember, by the way--" she bowed her head slightly. "Ember Brighten. I work at the ministry, too! Do you have to stand here the WHOLE time?" she asked. Hmph. So many questions! The life of a security guard--how FASCINATING!
Simon had spotted Vivi...and Selina. Though he should have expected it both as one was likely helping out at some point and the latter was a big time quidditch player at this point. Yes, he did occasionally pay attention to things. But he wasn't about to interrupt the two women and their conversation over food. It wasn't like either one of them needed his shadow around.
Besides, there was another woman heading his way and waving at him like they knew each other. Though that wasn't the case. The auror might have thought she needed his help but she was still smiling as she approached. "Hello," he greeted politely, listening as she spoke to him. "Thank you." That was certainly unexpected. Fans of quidditch...sure, but fans of MLE...of security?
"Simon Bennett," he returned with a nod of his head. "And yes, it is a fun event and I hope it stays that way. Makes my work easier." Trouble just complicated things and he certainly didn't want to be the one who had to do something serious at an event hosted by Mariel and her department. Ah there was Vic, another of the department though Simon wasn't sure of he was just attending or helping out as well since he was one of the divisions not called upon directly.
And speaking of Mariel...was that she in a distance?
The aurora returned her attention to the woman in front of him. "No...I will be making my way around all the areas," he informed her, answering her final question. Patrolling not standing and guarding one place. "Was there anything I could help you with?" he asked as an afterthought. Just to make sure that wasn't.

Vivi licked the cheese from the brownie thoughtfully before giving a solid nod of approval. Passably good and certainly not a reason to throw out either food due to cross-contamination. "Cheese makes everything better, Sel."
Everything. She gave a sheepish wave to first Vic and then Simon. With her brownie. Brownie wave! "My boyfriend is very famous and important, and I'm actually officially on duty, so... we'll meet up when we do. I'm going to saunter in there and impress his teammates with my fierce Auror ways once the lines die down a bit." Or that's what she liked to tell herself. They were uber clingy like some couples, so it wasn't like she needed to tie herself to him and then feel all threatened and sad that he cared more about his job than about her.
"You can have all the seats. D'you need me to use my powers for evil and say it's official Auror business?" She might get in trouble for that, but anything for Selina.

It shouldn't be too much trouble here, but of course, if anyone needed any help with the food or anything else, she'd be more than willing to give the fans a helping hand.
There she stood behind the ordering station, a warm, small smile on her face waiting for any hungry fans or players to come over and enjoy the quidditch themed food and tables to unwind to from their busy day. Hopefully they would be won over with decorations and quidditch like treats that had been made for today. Either way, she hoped that people would enjoy today's event and leave the stadium with more love for the sport.
Cora was looking forward to this, though she didn't particularly favor one Quidditch team over the other, not being a huge Quidditch fan or anything. But it was something she still enjoyed, and there was more to this thing than just meeting the players. Like some of those games over there looked fun. She might try those out later.
But right now, food sounded like a good idea. She hadn't eaten anything since breakfast, so she was pretty hungry. Walking over to the concessions area, she looked over the food and...hmm, all of it looked pretty good, though she definitely couldn't eat all of it. So what should she choose?
There was a woman behind the station. Maybe she could ask her. "So what would you recommend?" she asked.

There was a woman behind the station. Maybe she could ask her. "So what would you recommend?" she asked.
It looked like Saxon had her first customer who needed some help in deciding what to eat. As of now it had seemed everyone knew exactly what they wanted, or were deciding what to have. But, Saxon had yet to help anyone.
"Well, I'd recommend everything. If your stomach can fit it all." Saxon said giving the young lady a smile. But, now onto serious business. "Depends on what your taste buds want today. We've got your normal every day snacks like the World Cup nachos and your Haversacking hot dogs, named after the famous fouls that usually were consistent in quidditch games, to your Penalty popcorn." Saxon started.
She gave a short pause in case the lady wanted to think through some of that. "You've got quidditch cupcakes with a bludger, quaffle, snitch, scoring hoops and broomstick decorations on top it. If cupcakes aren't your thing then you can go for the snitch and broomstick sugar cookies, or brownies. Then finish it off with a drink of your choice."
Slow down Saxon. You're no business woman here. "I really enjoyed the cupcakes when I had one earlier." She added as an after thought. Now she was selling it.
Needless to say, Lorelai had regretted even saying she'd bring any of their brood with them. She kind of wished she'd brought Sparrow and Liberty or even Ringo and Lilah. But Saffron had protested because she was already certain that she was going to be a professional Quidditch player one day. And Corbin just HAD to go everywhere she did.
And they were hell for the 29 year old.
Already rubbing her temples, Lori ushered her eldest children behind their father and made faces at Corbin's hunger comments. "I made you breakfast. You said no. You get one thing and that's that. Auntie Kai is coming over for dinner tonight." Which meant lots of food, and ice cream by the bucket load. Kaia was that auntie.
She shook her head at her husbands question, resting a hand on his back and smiling. "I was a good girl and ate my breakfast." Keeping her energy levels up to run around after their children.
AHEM. WHERE WAS HER MONEY, DADDY?
Ah, there it was. She kicked her brother in the back of the leg to get a look at how much money had had gotten, and marvelled in the fact that her coin was SHINIER and therefore BETTER. To make sure he couldn't steal it, she clamped her hands firmly around it and twirled on the spot. "DADDY, DADDY, DADDY. I want POPCORN. Get me popcorn." The seven year old received a look from her mother, and frowned. "Please."
With sugar and best child kisses on top.
"Corby wants a dog hot. He told me." He wasn't allowed popcorn. Or chocolate. OR ANYTHING THAT SHE WOULD WANT LATER ON. Because he was a copy cat and had been so much so a copy cat that he'd decided to be born on the same day.
Only seven minutes earlier. BUT THAT WAS NOT THE POINT. NOR COMMON KNOWLEDGE.
"What're we cooking?" The question was posed on his lips as soon as Kaia was mentioned. He knew that this meant lots of food, and was glad they'd got a shop in only the day previously. He was pretty much sure they had ingredients to cook anything and everything, which had no doubt been Lorelai's plan when they'd entered the supermarket. Looking at his son, though, he chuckled at the idea that him eating something now would stop him practically inhaling the whole table tonight.
The boy had an appetite for someone who grew so slowly.
A major grin was given to his wife, before Adam leant the slight distance to kiss her on the cheek. Gosh, she made every day worth it, didn't she? "Good." That she'd had breakfast. And eaten it and all that stuff.
"Okay, popcorn and a hotdog. That's your lot, okay? And you make sure you spend what you've got carefully at the merchandise, because you're not getting anymore." If they wanted anymore, they should have brought their pocket money, but no doubt they'd forgotten. As usual.
After a slight stumble, and a fumble to keep ahold of his money, Corbin turned to glare at his sister. "OW." He said, very pointedly, before jabbing her with his elbow. "Moron." So take THAT, Saffron. Two could play at the physical violence game, and he happened to be very good at it.
Probably not as good as his sister, but that wouldn't be acknowledged, let alone admitted.
"NO I don't. I want a burger. And candyfloss. But make it blue." There were no please's or thank you's, and the boy went blissfully unaware of the looks his parents were giving him at his rudeness. "I wouldn't tell you. You'd probably steal it from me." Because he always had the best ideas ever because he was the oldest Stemp child, and therefore the best. The seven minutes made a lot of difference.
"Can I go off on my own?" WithOUT Saff?

Oh! An ickle! Sting waved at the bouncing girl-- Bee? He almost scoffed. Had she been talking to Barny? Wasps are WAY cooler than Bees. And much more handsome.
But as the girl bounced over, all thoughts about her previous slip up dissolved. He gave the girl a cheeky little stinger wiggle in response to her wave. Picture?! YES. Finally. Someone who appreciated him. The wasp nodded EXTRA enthusiastically, looking towards the 'mummy' in mention.

Sting extended his WASP-Y hands out for a hug.
Children really are the best fans.
He waved at her! The buzzing mascot waved at her. She giggled and bounced around. How exciting was this! She looked up at her mom and grinned, in quick hyper Spanish she told her about taking the picture. Just as she was going to go give the Wasps hug when she heard her name. Looking around she knew there were only two people that would know her here other than her mother. Soon she spotted the person she thought said it. Forgetting all means of English the girl rambled quickly in Spanish "Auntie Mariel, Auntie Mariel, you're here! We're here! It's this exciting and look at the mascot he wants to give me a hug!" She laughed and bounced. "Mommy thought it'd be fun to surprise you on your big event day and I get to see players, though my team won't be here."
She glanced up at her mother as the spoke about Jorge not knowing and she didn't understand half of it since her English still wasn't all that good. Finally she flew into the arms of the Wasp. "Auntie Mariel take a picture with me." She waved her hands towards her and the Wasp she was hugging. Pictures were fun and why not get a big hug from a buzzing Mascot he was offering!! "Where is Uncle Jorge?" She looked around before looking at the Wasp and tried in her best English. "Do you.." She couldn't think of the word translation so she started to dance around to show him what she was asking. Did he dance? She wanted to seeing him dance!

Ember just smiiiiiled away. Simon Bennett. What a nice name. Nodddnodnod. "Well it's lovely to meet you, kind sir," she said as she bowed her head at him, more being silly than anything. But then Ember remembered that she shouldn't be silly with people she hardly knew--and blushed. Gah. It could make them feel uncomfortable!
"Oh I am sure it will!" She said cheerfully, bouncing on the balls of her feet. She sometimes reminded herself of an excited puppy. Whether this was a good thing, or bad, well..hmph. She glanced around and just giggled a little. "Ohhhh okay! Sounds so fun! Or maybe not--but even if not, still appreciated!" she cried, her lavender eyes back on him again. "So different than what I do--so interesting--hey--I'll be--" and before he could say anything else she rushed off, towards the concession stand, ordering herself a Snitch sugar cookie, and TWO drinks. Hehehe!
She made her way back to the guard and handed him one drink, tilting her head. Maybe she was being too crazy. OH WELL. "Here! I wanted to show you my appreciation! At what a wonderful job you're doing!" she said as she sipped her drink and took a bite from the delicious COOOOOKIE. YUM. Sugar. Eh...sugar and Ember..well..interesting times would follow! "Name's Ember--by the way--always looking to make new friends! Since I'm very new at the ministry!" she said, smiling and nodding and NOT chewing with her mouth open...that would be RUDE.

Cora laughed a little. Yeah, no, her stomach could NOT fit all that in it. Not all at once at least. All of this food could last her the rest of the day probably.
At least she could decide she wasn't feeling like having popcorn today. Just didn't sound good right now. And nachos seemed a bit too messy. So maybe a hot dog and...a cupcake since the woman said she liked those, though all the sweets did look pretty good. Cora didn't want to get too many of those though. Far too much sugar.
"I think I'll take a cupcake then," she replied with a nod. "And a hot dog and...a butterbeer, I think." Yeah, that sounded like a pretty good lunch.

Saxon watched the girl make her decision and then smiled when she seemed to have to come to her choices.
"Excellent choices you have made, then." said the blonde giving the other lady a smile. She grabbed a small plate that was set up to the side and set the packaged hot dog on it alongside a cupcake or two. The more the merrier, right? Right. Then Saxon filled up a cup with butterbeer right to the top, making sure the lady would get all she could. "Here's your order." She said, passing the plate and cup carefully to her.
"And after you eat, if you haven't done so yet, check around for team merchandise, or if you're more for the entertainment, go visit the blasting bludger or chaser challenge games. And of course, pay a look into the quidditch players autograph tent." Saxon said, reminding the young lady of all they had to offer.

"Probably lasagne, garlic bread and whatever else I fancy putting together." It actually settled on if she could stomach the smells of what she was hoping to cook. If not, either Kai or Adam was doing it, or she was going to see what she was craving. Hm. Her cravings weren't exactly intense yet, but the morning sickness was and luckily she'd survived the journey here without being uneasy or anything. "Ice cream for definite." That was what she was sure of anyway.
She kept her eyes on their eldest two children before frowning at both of their blatant lack of manners. "We've raised you both better than being rude. Say please, thank you, excuse me and sorry or I'll take you home and leave you with your grandparents when Kai is over later." And as to not give them a chance to protest it, she busied herself flicking through the magazine that she'd had folded up in her bag.
Nope. She wasn't going to yell at her children in public. Not yet anyway. "Oliver's going to be here, you know? I spoke to Cam this morning."
Moron? AND an elbow?! With a scowl and a smack to her twins head, Saffron whispered a super rude words in his ear and stamped on his toe. Take THAT, shortie. She grumbled anyway, pouted at her parents so they would think she was the better one (which they already did, obviously) and give her more food. But SHE wanted pink popcorn if HE was getting blue candyfloss. "Iwantpinkstuff." Yes please, Daddy.
She was avoiding looking at her mother, because she knew she was going to get into trouble and that Lori was giving her one of those looks that could kill. You know..the ones that sent Saffsy running to the garden after stealing some lipgloss. Hehehehehehhe.
"UNCLE OLIPOP?" Best person ever that wasn't Daddy!!!!! Was that why she'd been allowed to bring her poster of him? OH EM GEE. OH EM GEE. Why hadn't she been able to steal lipgloss today?! She could have given her favourite uncle a kissy on the cheek and got her picture taken and showed him her pretty dress.
(Because she was obviously prettier than Poopy Poppy Greenwood)
Selina grabbed one of her own brownies, reached over and dipped it in Vivi's cheese. Nommy nom. "That's actually pretty good. Why has NO ONE thought of this before?" Merlin, cheese did things to the tastebuds. Amazing, delicious things.
Oh. The roomie was waving at other people. Who was the waving going to? She turned to check and saw her old Quidditch Captain. From, like, forever ago. Simon got a crazy wave before all of her attention was sucked up back into Vivi Vision. "He is very famous. All those Quidditch folk are. I'm just here for the food." But actually. The redhead liked that part best. "You look pretty fierce today. I like the level of I'm-hot-and-I-know-it going on." Max was a goner.
"Yes." She didn't hesitate. "I want a GIGANTIC castle of chairs and cheese brownies and my own lackeys." Like tweedle dumb and tweetle get-food-now-intern.

There was a reason that people didn't mix brownies and cheese, and that was because they had normal human tastebuds, rather than super human ones like Selina and Vivi. She didn't mention that fact, though, because it seemed sort of pointless to once again direct Selina's attention to the many ways in which they were very not normal.
Instead, Vivi pointed a finger at Selina's nose. "Speaking of very famous, you're supposed to be in there signing stuff. There might be a line of little girls feeling very disappointed about not meeting you right about now. Oh, and also? "You know you have to pay for this food, right?"
Mariel's grin widened even more in Isa's excitement. She chuckled a bit, listening intently to the girl's quickly rambled Spanish, and trying to translate it in her own head. She was talking too fast for her to make out all of it as she wasn't quite as fluent as she'd like yet, but she was able to get the gist of it. "It is a very nice surprise," she beamed at the very excited 7 year old as she spoke back to her in Spanish, though much slower. "Uncle Jorge will be happy to see you both."
As Isa bounced into Sting's arms, Mariel looked at the girl's mother, still smiling happily at the lovely surprise of seeing them. Oh, so Jorge didn't know either.. it was really so sweet of her to come and bring Isa to the event. And, by the looks of it, she was having a great time already. "I'm really glad you both made it out then," she told Cassandra, using English again as she did. "We'll have to find Jorge in a bit, maybe all grab a bite to eat.. or maybe Isa would want to try out one of the Junior Quidditch brooms." Maybe she could show them around a little while she made her rounds if they wanted. The brunette hoped that she'd run into Ethan and his family as well, though she wasn't completely sure that they were coming. Chloe was still so small.
She turned her green eyes on the young girl as she spoke again and she was fairly sure she understood, though she didn't know if she meant for her to take a picture of the two of them or if she wanted Mariel in the picture as well. She decided on both. "Alright.." she said, pulling a camera out of her bag, "but then Auntie Mariel needs a hug too." Holding up the camera in front of her face, she snapped a picture, then handed the camera to Cassandra before sliding in on the wasps other side. "Then I'll take yours next," she added, laughing. As she was waiting for the woman to take their next picture, she glanced out at the small crowd, noting a handful of MLE people milling around. Good.. as long as they were doing the job she had discussed with Emily without needlessly bothering any of their guests. And also found some time to enjoy themselves.. she wanted everyone to have a good time.

Legend needed somewhere he could sit back, relax and sleeeep. Or not, you know because he was working and all. Serious working. Working rigggght by the food table.
Awesome.
The auror reached for a snitch cookie and stuffed it in his mouth. Pssh. Snitches weren't that hard to catch see? Noticing Simon and Genevieve Legend nodded his head briefly at them both. Serious working. They knew what was in, yup.

She had been all over the meet and greet a few times and everything had seem to be running very smoothly. This was a very good thing. She was beginning to relax a little and enjoy the day. The Quidditch Division Manager made her way towards the concession. She wanted to make sure Saxon didn't need any help, but also to grab a bite to eat.
She smiled giving a small wave towards a few that she knew, seeing them happy with their kids and special others made the thirty five year old a bit down. Her biggest career event being second in command at this and she had no one to share it with. Brilliant wasn't it?
Ordering a Parkin's Pincer Pulled pork sandwiches, a snitch cookie, and a Gillywater, Vic paid and found a seat. Watching the little Cannon balls jumping around she took a bite and looked around as she was eating. Noticing a man siting alone she gave a small smile. "Having fun today, I hope?" Was he here alone?
"Probably lasagne, garlic bread and whatever else I fancy putting together." It actually settled on if she could stomach the smells of what she was hoping to cook. Moron? AND an elbow?! With a scowl and a smack to her twins head, Saffron whispered a super rude words in his ear and stamped on his toe. Take THAT, shortie. Lasagne. Adam's mouth practically watered at the thought. "You sure you'll be okay doing that?" If she wasn't, of course he'd be more than happy to help, along with Kaia, and probably Lilah, too. "Always ice cream." He nodded and grinned a little more, squeezing Lorelai's hand as he finished speaking. "Lilah'll want chocolate, and we know that there will be a big mess." Even if it was a super dooper adorable little mess, obviously better than a wailing crying mess. He hoped it wouldn't be the latter, anyway.
"Listen to your mother. And apologise, right now." To each other, to their mother, to him as well. Reluctantly letting go of his wife's hand, he motioned to the kiosk with his head, and strolled over there, not wanting to leave her alone with the pains for too long. He returned, cautiously juggling pink popcorn, blue candyfloss and a burger. He'd charmed the confectionery on his way back, and he was hoping that the wand clutched in between all of the food went unnoticed. He was also hoping the bite out of his sons burger went unnoticed, too.
Corbin rolled his eyes, but hoped that his mum was too engrossed in her magazine to see, before turning to his parents and muttering. "Sorry." He even turned to Saffron afterwards and managed "I apologise." Super rude word back. Because he knew that that was slightly different and didn't exactly mean the same thing, and the whispered word definitely counteracted it. He was tempted to stand back on HER toes, but he thought better and wincing settled for barging past her to meet their dad with the food.
There was no way he was missing Auntie Kai and ice cream. And Nana Stemp could be super strict if she knew they'd done something wrong.
"Fanks." Muffled and slightly annoyed, Corb managed to be somewhat slightly gracious, although he was hoping his parents missed the scowl. He ASSUMED that the HUGE bit missing from his burger was some sort of punishment, but he still stuffed his face with it, letting ketchup dribble down his chin. He was seven, after all. "Oliver? Cool." Kaia and Oliver here? An aunt AND a basically-uncle? That meant that THEY were practically celebrities!

Did Sting dance, OH BOY YES HE DID! His dance moves made all the wasps just buuuuuzz with pleasure. Without a moment of hesitation the wasp began wiggling his stinger around and waving his hands in the air. He even grabbed the little girl's hand and gently twirled her around. Mascotting was so much fun!
Sting gently wrapped his BIG waspy hands around the cute little girl. Ah, the sweet smell of wonderful fans. Smiling REAL nice for the camera and....
SNAP!
That must've been a good one ! Taking pictures with the fans was ALWAYS the best part of any Quidditch game. Sting extended his arms in the air as he waited for the second SNAP!

Well she hadn't asked for two cupcakes, but she wasn't gonna complain. Probably just wouldn't be getting any cookies or anything later on, which was fine. So Cora smiled and accepted the plate and cup. "Thanks. Do I owe you anything?" She hadn't seen any prices or anything resembling them, but it was better to ask anyway just in case.
Oh yeah, and the other stuff. "I'll definitely be sure to check those out. The games especially." But probably a little while after she ate. After all they were supposed to wait an hour or something after eating before being active. Or was that just swimming? Eh, either way, she was waiting.

Simon returned her nod in kind. "It is nice to meet you as well, Miss Brighton." And as she had identified herself as ministry it would likely not be the last time they saw each other as his hats tended to keep him hoping around the building. He noticed the blush that suddenly graced her face and the auror tried not to feel uncomfortable about it. Just a woman being a bit silly when he was just doing his job around her.
And then she left his side and he was somewhat glad to be done with pleasantries, this way he could focus his attention on what else was going on. Like Selina's wild waving in his direction as she noticed him in the crowd. He gave her a much more subdued wave of his own but with politely friendly meaning all the same. Gosh, it had been awhile since he had seen her, even longer that Kurumi since the other young woman had been back and forth to the ministry for certain matters. However his thoughts were interrupted as the woman...Ember approached him once more.
With a drink for him.
"Oh...um...thank you," he said tentatively accepting the beverage and being polite in response to the gesture. Although he wasn't sure he would actually drink it. At least until he discretly checked it out. One had to be cautious at times just to be on the safe side. No dosing of the security please. Noticing Legend and the gesture sent his way, the auror returned it in kind. Nothing further was needed between the two of them, especially as they worked separately.
Ember repeated her first name to him as if unsure if she had said it or not before the had left and come back. He merely let it go, instead moving on to the other comment about making new friends in the ministry. "Well I'm sure you will do just that," Simon said, knowing she was outgoing enough to do so.
I know I look fierce, but you are fierce, so march your fierce self into that tent and... sign stuff." With lioness pride, because that was how Selina rolled.
Oh, and also? "You know you have to pay for this food, right?"
Selina continued to shove her face with the Cheestastic Browniesplosition. Yes, she had named it. SHE HAD GOOD REASON THOUGH. All delicious things needed a proper name.
Ah. Finger in face. Selina tried to shrink into her skin. "I don't want to...." Be an adult or sign things or do real work. She wanted to hang out where there was food and talk to other players and do things that were not work related. "Can't I just.....pretend I'm sick and stay here?" Sigh. Vivi was right. She absolutely HATED when that happened. Pout face. "Fine...I'll go. But if I get hand cramps, you need to spoon feed me dinner tonight."
O_____________________________________o
Selina dropped all of the food in her hand at once. What?! No, no. She thought this was free. Not to be that person, but it was technically against Selina's religion to pay for food. At a function. "Why did you let me EAT this rip-off food?" Worst day ever.
