Concessions and Seating Graphic courtesy of Charely Potter Hungry? Well you’ve come to the right place. The concession is open and ready to take your order. The ordering station is set up with two registers. Lines will form in front of these two registers and a worker at each will gladly take your order. You can order Parkin's Pincer Pulled pork sandwiches, Haversacking Hot dogs, World Cup Nachos, and Penalty Popcorn for snacks. There are also bludger, snitch, and broomstick sugar cookies, quiddtich chocolate cupcakes, and double eight loop fudge brownies for desert. Thirsty? You can order a Gillywater, Pumpkin Juice, Butterbeer, Catcher’s Red Wine, or Dopplebeater Firewhisky at the concession as well. Finding a seat is easy once you have your food and beverage. The seating area is set up with square tables that can seat up to four. Each table has been charmed to look like your favorite teams colors, with sparkling logos across them. In the middle you will find jumping mascots to entertain while you are eating, they cannot be taken off the tables, so don’t try little ones. So come find your favorite team and enjoy your food, drinks, and fun at the seating area. |
So, the day had finally come. After all those weeks of hard preparation and work, and going here and there exchanging ideas with her team and co-workers, Saxon made her way over to the section of the stadium she had been given to overlook. It shouldn't be too much trouble here, but of course, if anyone needed any help with the food or anything else, she'd be more than willing to give the fans a helping hand. There she stood behind the ordering station, a warm, small smile on her face waiting for any hungry fans or players to come over and enjoy the quidditch themed food and tables to unwind to from their busy day. Hopefully they would be won over with decorations and quidditch like treats that had been made for today. Either way, she hoped that people would enjoy today's event and leave the stadium with more love for the sport. |
AHHHHHHHH. FOOOOOOD. And slightly less important was her job and the signing and stuff, but FOOD. Today was very, very exciting. Because this place had food for them. They even had cupcakes with little, froo-froo bludgers on the top. Perhaps the display was a SMIDGEN GIRLY, but she was in a dress today so she could stuff her face. That was how classy worked. Bam. Math logic'd up in here by the ex-Gryffindor. Speaking of Hogwarts. Maybe she had misread things as she briefly walked by the signing tents-- too distracted by the thought of food, honestly-- but she SWORE she saw a lot of ickles on the list. They were getting tackled as soon as she shoved all the food in her tummy. And maybe she'd even try to pretend to be just a little bit professional......maybe.....she would have to see because it would depend on how she was feeling and if she got hungry again and also effort. That last one was so important. But yes. Food eating. That happened. |
Ali! Cameron Bayless was here... And needed a drink... Yep. And maybe some food. He was excited to be here meeting with fans and signing autographs. There was lots of team spirit from all of the teams and fans loads of fans. He was impressed with the player turn out as well. He just may have to get a few autographs from some of the others. Cinna would love it. Everything looked so nice. He would have to tell the sports and games department how well they did. Now for the water. He got in line and a water. Though a long inner debate about one of those cupcakes he passed for now. Team tables? Those were nice. He wanted the tornadoes one for his house. He wondered who he had to sweet talk for it. He headed that way and sit down. |
Bee for Icarus, Brad for Athena Bianca had lost Hamish somewhere. She wasn't worried though. She walked over and stood, idly leaning up against a wall near the concession stand. She had already agreed to meet a very attractive man here. Hopefully he wasn't boring or a jerk. At least if he was either she could just wander off and find someone else. Plenty of pretty quidditch players here to chose from. Bee dug around in her purse before pulling out a compact mirror and her red lipstick. She popped open the mirror and began to freshen up. How Brad had talked Athena into coming to do this with him he had no idea. But come on. He would look so much more like a creep if he was alone. He followed his sister over to where his little sister headed and spotted her fixing her make-up. He walked over to the seats and grabbed one so that he had a good view. Bradley looked over at Athena. "She doesn't even know this guy she's meeting." Yep. Very upset overprotective big brother here. |

She was not please that only two of her players were there, but at least it was to of her best. She'd have to speak with the coach about that soon. Plus their seating in that tent just ridiculous. She was going to have to go to that ministry to talk to that idiot department head soon. She obviously had to be an idiot to put Victoria in a position of leadership. That woman didn't know a bludger from a snitch in her eyes. Making her way towards the concession stand she noticed a very familiar face. Yes, Cameron Bayless, she knew his name well and his statistics. He was an older player, probably close to retirement, but still fantastic. This might not be a bad in. So with her smile as nice as it could be she made her way closer to him. "Well Hello Cameron." No need to act dumb, she knew he was and would show him so. |

He was glad that they had gotten something like this put together. He really didn't know how many more years he had as a pro left. At 35 years old quidditch was getting rough on his body but not enough where he was ready to retire just yet. He managed to keep up with those young guns he played with. He looked around when he heard his name. Mmm he didn't think that was a fan. Seemed way to confident. Fans seemed to go all fangirly and squeal and stuff. Like little teeny boppers. "Hello there to you too." No, he'd seen her somewhere before. She was one of one the other teams something. He couldn't quiet put his finger on it. A name would help. |
Quote:
He spotted her, his usual smirk on his face as he approached her, he made sure to do it from behind. His hand on the small of her back. "hello, darling.." he kissed her cheek. "i'm Icarus, what did you say your name was?" he knew she didn't say, but he was still going to ask. |

Not only was she absolutely in need of some of those World Cup Nachos, but she knew this was the best place to spot a wild Selina on the prowl. So... nachos first, and then she looked for the roommate. And spotted her almost immediately. "FAVORITE PERSON!" Vivi pounced on her immediately, giving her a half squeeze before stepping back and offering up some nachos. For sharing. |
As soon as they'd parked the car, Adam had practically dived out to get away from the kids. Not that he didn't like them, it's just - it had been a long journey, and Merlin his eldest two could argue. He didn't, though. He offered Lorelai a reassuring smile, and ruffled Corbins hair, before leading the way through the gathering crowds. "You should have eaten breakfast." He said, in reply to his sons complaints of hunger, but nevertheless, he pressed a few coins into the twin's hands and headed in the direction of the concessions. "You want anything, Lor?" When did he get to see Auntie Kaia? Would she introduce him to all of the cool Quidditch people? He was so ready to meet them, even if the black and yellow scarf wasn't quite weather appropriate, the short little seven year old made it work. He made EVERYTHING cool, whatever Saffron said. If she kept up her stupid comments, he'd tell everyone that her name was Sofa, and see how she liked that. Speaking of Sofa, was Nathan coming? At his fathers ruffle, Corbin rolled his eyes and tried to straighten his hair with his fingers. Dad could be so annoyed, if his hair got any messier it would probably curl and he couldn't be dealing with that. His eyes rolled again at the mention of breakfast, but he didn't tell his father that he hadn't wanted his morning meal because he'd had two bars of chocolate before leaving his room. He smirked as his fingers closed around the coins, before slipping them into his pocket, just in time to make gagging motions behind his parents affections. |

Bianca gave him a wide smile once she spotted him. Oh and look. "Hey handsome." A kiss on the cheek and a hand on her back. He knew wha he was doing. "Bianca. Love the name Icarus. Very unique." Quote:
Bradley clenched his fists when he saw the guy kiss her cheek. Okay. Way too friendly there for just meeting someone. And of course Bianca seemed to be lapping it up. Maybe this was a bad idea. |

And they were hell for the 29 year old. Already rubbing her temples, Lori ushered her eldest children behind their father and made faces at Corbin's hunger comments. "I made you breakfast. You said no. You get one thing and that's that. Auntie Kai is coming over for dinner tonight." Which meant lots of food, and ice cream by the bucket load. Kaia was that auntie. She shook her head at her husbands question, resting a hand on his back and smiling. "I was a good girl and ate my breakfast." Keeping her energy levels up to run around after their children. AHEM. WHERE WAS HER MONEY, DADDY? Ah, there it was. She kicked her brother in the back of the leg to get a look at how much money had had gotten, and marvelled in the fact that her coin was SHINIER and therefore BETTER. To make sure he couldn't steal it, she clamped her hands firmly around it and twirled on the spot. "DADDY, DADDY, DADDY. I want POPCORN. Get me popcorn." The seven year old received a look from her mother, and frowned. "Please." With sugar and best child kisses on top. "Corby wants a dog hot. He told me." He wasn't allowed popcorn. Or chocolate. OR ANYTHING THAT SHE WOULD WANT LATER ON. Because he was a copy cat and had been so much so a copy cat that he'd decided to be born on the same day. |

The redhead was mid-swallow of another brownie when she heard her FAVOURITE PERSON'S VOICE. (It was a wonder they hadn't run off together yet). "Vivi!" She got that half-hearted shrug of one shoulder because hands were holding food hug. It was very special and intimate. Of course. *oooo* Nachos. And it wasn't even Nacho Night. "So, give me the low down, roomie. How long can I hide out here before I have to go and sign things forever?" And get cramps and be grumpy. |

Putting a hand on his shoulder she gave it a squeeze. "They're just meeting up. He's not whisking her away to get married." lord let's hope she didn't speak too soon again. |

It was important that Selina get out to the signing table at some point, not only because she needed to be famous and important like Vivi already knew she was, but because this was a male dominated sport and little girls needed to see Selina-fabulous and aspire to grow up like that. Vivi aspired to grow up like that herself. "So here's the deal. Not everyone's here yet, but there's a growing crowd of Quidditch impressiveness already. Not much in the way of lines, though, so you could probably linger a bit if you wanted. Max isn't even in there, I don't think. But if you go early, maybe you can steal all the chairs and make a little Harpies castle of awesome out of them." That's totally what Vivi would do.[/color] |
SPOILER!!: Cameron Raising a brow the woman was intrigued. Was that a form of pick up hello or did he recognize her? She had only been with the Catapults for a year, but her reputation from Australia with the Warriors had to have followed her. She had been top manager in that league and everyone gave her what she wanted. She always got what she wants, so this should come no differently. If it did, she could figure out ways to ruin careers. She just needed the right angle. "I'm not going to take up much of your time, I am not a woman for that. I'm sure you know the Caerphilly Catapults, I'm the manager of them. Rebecca Maroon. How does it feel playing with all those young chasers? I feel like you are very over shadowed for your talent there." She would cut to the chaser. "We have talented chasers, but I think an older more experience chaser along with Esme Whittebrooke could really help your career as well as the Catapults." How did that sound? Everyone wanted fame to themselves so if she dangled it in front of him enough he couldn't resist her offer. That and the added pay raise she was willing to do. |

Bradley looked back up at Athena. His eyes went wide at her words. That was definitely not happening anytime soon. "I know his type. I was his type. And marriage is the last thing on his mind." |

Security As much as Simon was reminded of his school days playing Quidditch as he walked around the stadium, technically he was here not for fun. Security had been requested for the event, especially in light of the threats on the sport and the auror had offered his services in the rotation. The young man slipping into his secondary role once more. One could only hope that he wouldn't actually be needed and he could simply mill about observing people and things and watching out for anything out of the ordinary. Anything that might lead to trouble. He kept his movements casual to not seem awkward and out of place in the crowds but as he was on duty his eyes were ever alert. Simon's gaze milling back and forth as he wandered into the concession and seating area. Only one of the large open areas that had been opened up for the meet and greet. And only one of the places, they were to watch over during the course of the day. |

sorreh >_< *Simon* SPOILER!!: Simon OH GOSH. Ember almost brought her inhaler because she was THAT ESSITED. And she was like a hamster when she got this excitable--her body was just TOO small to hold all of it in! She could SQUEEE with excitement right now! She didn't follow Quidditch. She didn't know who any of these people were--well, some of them looked MILDLY familiar from Hogwarts--but she was lousy with names most days. But who cared?! It was a ministry-put-on ordeal and she just..she wanted to attend. Maybe Dmitry or Derek would be here? She hoped! Especially with Dmitry, heh. She had her hair in an elegant braid, which she swept behind her back as she...stoked out the the..concessions. >__> Food was food, ya' hear? Ember may have been TINY, but she loved her some FOOD. OOoooooOOOOhhh! All the snacks looked so PRETTEH. She wanted everything! But of course she would have to pick and choose...DEFINITELY she wanted those sugar cookies! As if she needed any MORE hyperness--she was about to place her order when she noticed the guard. A SECURITY GUARD?! Ember bounced over, smiling and waving. "Hi there! You are so appreciated! Just wanted to let you know, sir!" She said, nodding a lot. "People often forget the importance of even just the security! So thank you lots!" she said, beaming. She wanted to show her appreciation--even for those most overlooked! "But at least this is a fun event, right? I'm Ember, by the way--" she bowed her head slightly. "Ember Brighten. I work at the ministry, too! Do you have to stand here the WHOLE time?" she asked. Hmph. So many questions! The life of a security guard--how FASCINATING! |
SPOILER!!: Becky All Cameron wanted to do was have some water before he went to go sign autographs. That's what he did. He took a few slips of water while he tried to put a name to the face or at least a team to her face. The chaser knew she was with a team. Or at least that's where he felt he knew her from. He took another slip of water. Maybe he should finish off his water because he had a feeling that this would take a little while. Not going to take up much of his time? He could have been doing with his water by now. Ahhhh that's it. See he knew she had something to do with a team. Catapults manager. That's it. He blinked "It's not bad. I love mentoring them." He nodded. He really did. They were good guys. Was she doing what he thought she was doing. He wasn't going to lie she made a great argument. "Well thank you Mrs. Maroon. But my agent and I will start talking off season changes. In the off season." Not that he had any intention to make any changes in the off season. He had been playing for the tornados for what? He counted in his head 13 no 14 years now. The only plans he had was to retire with the tornadoes. |
Buuuuuuuuuuzzzz they should do these events more often! Sting buzzed his way over to the concessions, tilting his head back and forth at the sight of the cute little bouncing mini-Sting mascot on the table. Super cool CELEBRITY mascot is here! Did anyone want any pictures? He'd just buzz around in the mean time. |
