Pretzeeeeel! <3 <3 <3 Quote:
Noah, eyeing the other mascot - the butt wiggling bat, halfway tuned out his mum's exchange with the Chudley Cannons chaser until the woman seemed to be talking to him. Grey eyes shifted toward her, his lips tugging upward into a grin again. "Noah Diggory," The seven-year-old answered, adding afterward: "ma'am." He still didn't know what to call her, so ma'am would have to do. The same Noah Diggory that had been to one of the Cannon games, during which he had yelled 'Go, Pretzel, Go!' as loudly as his little lungs had allowed. Given, that Noah Diggory had been a lot smaller. Two or three at most, and the boy wasn't convinced that had actually ever happened - even if Mum insisted it had. The thought alone made his cheeks flush. |
SPOILER!!: Vivi and Max This was too cool, Emily could leave him here all day if she wanted to... and she just might... but he was TOTES excited. HE got to be a security peep today! FOR MAX! "I won't let you down! I promise!" he beamed, and then turned to Max's girlyfriend, "You'll have him back in one piece, and I SPOSE we could BOTH be his biggest fans, I can share the title with you if you like, you kiss him and stuff so you should be entitled." That's how it worked right? Girlies that kissed you owned your soul? Something like that, and he wasn't for that life. FREE MAN RIGHT HERE THANK YOU! He supposed though that Max was right, blondie WAS pretty cool, especially since she worked for Emily, and as an Auror toooo! "Emily used to be an Auror! Till she got all bossy, so yeah.. you're cool. Speaking of bossy, shouldn't you be working?" At least her coolness was official now though. Yep. And on top of THAT, she also played quidditch, and goodly too, apparently. "Wait.. YOU were a Ravenclaw too?! Maaaaaannnnnn, why are all the cool peeps Claws?! Huh?!" He couldn't say he was thrilled with this revelation. Pressure much? The advice she gave sounded pretty darn good too, and since Max approved it -- being the PRO pro -- he too approved. Hehehee, musclehead. Still standing firmly, Zeke nodded his head, his lips slightly pursed in consideration. "I'll try that too," he declared with one last nod. Because he was being as SECURITY like, he noticed the other people around getting things signed by the players. Right. HE should do that too. Mmmhhmm. "Oh! Max! ... Can you sign my shirt please?" Why not? Right? Go hard or go home.. something like that. |

Umm... he began. I'm glad that you're doing well. I suppose I should be on my way and leave you to your work today. It was really nice to meet you again and I hope you have a good day. He stood there awkwardly, not sure how to break contact. He sort of fiddled with his fingers as he looked to the photograph she'd signed. |

Princess. Ah, there. Her name. The one not on her birth certificate, anyway. The seven year old sighed as dramatically as she could and shook her head. "He's a crybaby anyway!!!!! And a stinker! And he's a rotten rat! 'sides, I would beat you anyway! I'm brilliant." And he knew that already. Hadn't he seen her twirl at birthday parties? Great twirlers were obviously excellent flyers. And she was allowed to twirl to show her dress? EEP. Saffsy twirled TWICE and then put her hands back on her hips. "Sign my poster, Oliver!!!!!" NOW. |

"Just keep an eye on the fans, make sure they do not get too crazy. Once in awhile ask players if they need anything. We do have owners and managers around as well, do not leave them out even if they are not the spot light for the event." Keeping all parts of the teams happy was a good idea. "Oh and Benji, have some fun." She grinned, [b] "Get some autographs and enjoy the concession stands. The players got free lunch tickets and so do Sports and Games for their hard work. Glancing back at the baby, she was a mother so she understood, but it was fine for a younger man not to. He wasn't at that stage in his life. "Babies are a new beginning. Everything in their world is new. Which means people adore their innocence. They don't know of the bad and the hurt in the world. They just want love and happiness." She chuckled about the dog comment, "Bring a puppy in here and I bet you will get the same reaction. It's no different really. People love the young." Babies were babies whether animal or human. |
He was still moving around the tent all bouncing and bubbly. Was there more children around to play with him! That was great. He moved towards everyone trying to get high fives and batty bum wiggles. Throwing his batty arms in the air he danced around more and then with a little room he ran and did a not so coordinated cartwheel. |

Regardless, she smiled at him. Always the pro. "And you. I'll tell Mum you popped by..." She saw his hesitation at the picture, but was one step ahead of him, now adding a 'To Edward,' to where she'd signed it earlier, and flapped it lightly for the ink to dry on the shiny surface. "They're still at the same place," she added, deciding it wasn't her place to judge. "Mum works from home nowadays, so I'm sure you'd be welcome if you're ever in the area." Alina didn't need to know about the crush bit though. Oh no. Nia handed the photo to him with a final smile. "Hope you have a good rest of the day too." Quote:
Barny?" she called to him jokingly. "I can do a cartwheel better than that!" And yep...this Pro Chaser was cool enough to show him if challenged too. Pros could have fun too! |
so sorry for the wait <33 SPOILER!!: Richard, Aurora and Felicity, Barny "Be be.." Gunnar gave a little up and down wave as he leaned against his father. There was a baby just like his Chloe, did Daddy see the baby? Blue eyes moved over to the man talking to him. He didn't know what he was saying, but he was smiling so the one year old gave a smile too before yawning. He really was tired but he was fighting sleep. And then.. he looked up as he was being passed off to someone else. He knew this lady, didn't he? "Yes, that's a baby," Ethan confirmed for his son as he rubbed his back a bit. He knew Gunnar had to be really tired but that bit of sugar rush and fighting sleep was keeping him up and making him fidgety. At least he was being still for this second. "Her name is Felicity, can you say hi?" Of course the little baby waves he gave was very cute as well. "She's really getting big.." he said with a grin to Aurora. How old was she now.. 8 or 9 months or so? He couldn't help but to chuckle at Richard's words to his son. "Maybe a little too early to be worried about anything like that.." Well-noted though, he was sure he'd be every bit as protective over Chloe. Besides, Gunnar was more interested in cats and cookies right now. Just as he spoke, he noticed his aunt behind him who demanded his child from him. "Oh, hey Aunt Mariel.." he greeted her as he handed Gunnar into her opened arms. "He's had one too many cookies so he might be a little fidgety." At least he had been for him and simply would not stay still in his stroller any longer. "We've been having a lot of fun by the way." As she took Gunnar to speak to a couple of the players she seemed to know, Ethan turned his attention back to Richard and Aurora. "So how have you all been? Signing a lot of autographs?" There really were a lot of people out for this. He imagined one's hand might get cramped after a while, maybe even blinded by all the flash photography. SPOILER!!: Oliver, Nia "Oh of course," she nodded as he mentioned Cam and the kids. How many did they have now.. two.. three? Those kinds of things were often so hard to keep track of and though this was something of a family-oriented event, she could understand that children could also be a handful at times too. "I'm sure you're all very busy.. Oh I'm doing well, thanks. Quite busy myself, but I do love my job." As much as she enjoyed playing for the Macaws, but in an entirely different way. She liked being in charge. "You're having a good time so far? Signing lots of autographs?" The 29 year old was certain that he had plenty of fans being on the team quite a while, but it was important to her that the professionals enjoy themselves as well. "And this is my nephew's son, Gunnar," she added, shifting the one year old a bit in her arms. She didn't always like saying great nephew as she thought it made her sound old, but they were both her nephews and she adored them to pieces. "Can you say hi to Oliver?" she looked down at the yawning boy and demonstrated a little wave. She smiled bigger when she caught Nia's wave. "And look there's Nia," she added to Gunnar, pointing down to the Bat's table. "Wave to her?" She demonstrated again, looking down at him, but he was obviously too tired. Oh well. She'd go down in a minute once the crowd cleared as it seemed there were plenty wanting her autograph as well. SPOILER!!: Iwin, Barny And she complied with the hug for her fan. He was very sweet really, and she had to remind herself that players did things like that for their fans all the time, it was perfectly ok, but his words made her blush again. "My, aren't you the charmer," she chuckled. "I'm sure you say that to all the players." But it was certainly nice to feel well-liked from the fans. As she got in position, ready to have her picture taken with Iwin and Muirgen, she noticed that crazy mascot headed their way again. Merlin. But what was he - ? Esme's mouth dropped open as she stared at Barny, watching him grab the camera and take a selfie with Jack Fritzera. "What even.. ?" she started before laughing, too stunned to know what else to say. |
I'm slow...I'm sorry T_______T SPOILER!!: people. Lots of people...and other people mentioned in other places Violet eyes on Sierra, she couldn't help but blink a few times at the sudden...apology? Merlin, that had been so long ago that she had really thought about their rivalry at Hogwarts. Although she sort of missed the friendly competition. She relied on others to push herself to perfection, she had found, so she didn't always feel like being in competition with herself was enough. And really, the only thing that stuck out in her mind that was especially unpleasant had a little something to do with Polyjuice Potion. It was sort of funny thinking about it now though, how her initial reaction had been that Sierra had stolen a kiss from Treyen that should have been Kurumi's and not Sierra's, but it all water under the bridge now. "We all do ridiculous and stupid things when we are teenagers, Sierra," she laughed softly. "Besides, we sort of made up already...during the Christmas Tree decorating." And Kurumi had made her a special box and they had discussed....losing mothers. Thankfully for Sierra, that reality had not come to pass...which again made the Gryffindor feel a small tinge of jealousy. Must have been nice....being able to see your mother recover. And she did see Ella again out of the corner of her eye. Small smile especially for you, Ella! But then she was blushing, because she really only vaguely remembered Isobel from her time at Hogwarts. She had been...a first year? Second? Young enough that she really hadn't ventured too far from older students within her own house, save for a few exceptions, but certainly hadn't really gotten to know Hufflepuffs, save for Treyen, for a while. "I've been good," she smiled. She really didn't want the complete story of what happened post Hogwarts, right? She subconsciously rubbed her round protruding belly. "I'm sorry we didn't know each other better at Hogwarts. I was...um....just a little timid in my first few years. Older students scared me." THERE SHE WAS! Beaming as Selina FINALLY made her way over, Kurumi proudly presented her with the basket of goodies and beamed some more when the red head pointed out the t-shirt. "Isn't it GREAT? I had custom made since there really isn't any maternity Harpies merchandise available. You really should tell your manager to look into that. Really missing out on some business." She glanced over towards Vivi and gave some exaggerated finger wiggles. Wait...where was Vivi going...OH RIGHT MAX! Oh, she wanted to say hello to him as well, but he was currently being claimed by an adorable little boy. Little boy...hmmm....that might be nice.... Shaking her head to wake herself from thoughts as Dylan congratulated her. "Oh, um...thank you," she stammered with a polite bow of the head. Still holding a grudge over here, however. Name calling was not something she took lightly to thanks pre-Hogwarts schooling days. OH CAROLINE WAS HERE! But focusing on Selina. Of course. This was Selina's day! Hence why Kurumi was wearing her face. Which reminded her... "Hey, Selina, can you sign this Harpies team photo for one of my colleagues at the reservation?" she asked as she pulled a photo out of her charmed bag...along with several others. Small stack really. "Actually...can you sign all of these. The dragonologists over in the hatchling sector are huge Harpies fans...you guys too, Sierra and Isobel. Please." And thank you! She had cookies in the basket. |
Text Cut: Barny Barny was pretty legit. Kalla let him bump her with his hip and laughed aloud as he did so. Seriously, the team was indeed the best. Everyone got along well and had a great time. Kalla was seriously LUCKY to be part of a team with such amazing people... and bats. Text Cut: Nia/Archie Kalla gave Nia a small smile and nodded, keeping to herself that no one gave a rip about the reserves... But she appreciated her team support and the fact that Nia seemed to believe in her so much. It meant a lot. More than she had ever expressed to her teammates. "[b]Oh it's not Arch I am worried about... it's me Mum that worries me.[/b[" And she'd say no more on the matter. Nope. Nia could see for herself. AND THERE WAS THE CUTEST OGDEN THAT EVER DID LIVE!!! When Kalla caught sight of Archie she couldn't help but BEAM! Waving him over she let her eyes search the crowd for her mother... but when she caught no sight of her she relaxed slightly. Perhaps Jessa had escorted him and was nearby... Oh how GLORIOUS that would be... Helena Ogden was NOT the kind of woman who frequented quidditch events for any reason. BUT when Archie had been so adamant she couldn't resist her nephew. Blast! Weaving her way through the crowd, a frown firmly in place, she snorted softly when her eyes fell upon her youngest daughter. What was she wearing? How embarrassing. BUT her husband had been firm that Helena was to be kind and supportive no matter what. So here she was SLUMMING it with these... people... Ugh. Making her way up beside Archie she took his little hand in hers and looked down at him, "Don't run off again, please, dear. The likes of these people... you never know what could happen to you." She said this in her gentlest voice as she led the boy toward his cousin. Her quidditch pro of a daughter. SIGHS. Text Cut: Olipocket MOTHER SPOTTER! MOTHER SPOTTED! Holy smokes... No. Just no. She was not prepared. Averting her gaze once more she caught the smile and wave from Oliver Flipping GREENWOOD. How awesome! Giving him a small smile in return she nodded her hello. See, she was playing it cool. And she was TOTALLY going to introduce herself later. He was a pretty amazing player after all... and she was an up and coming star. Bam. |
