Archives & Reasearch The reception area may be no more, but the lovely and helpful Marley has found a new home in Archives & Research. Here you will find the extensive library containing all of the information and research gathered from the work that the Department of Mysteries has uncovered since it's inception. Photos, actual artifacts, a warded bell jar containing a broken timeturner, and countless tomes, grimoires and records fill the space. If you're on the verge of a breakthrough discovery and would like more information before proceeding or just don't know where to start with your current research you've come to the right place. Pull up to the main desk and tell Marley what you're looking for or help yourself to the bureau drawers which contain small cards of information which will tell you where in the archives that information is kept. This is a common area and from time to time you may find your fellow Unspeakables from all of the different rooms doing a bit of research for their work.
