The actual entrance to the building is hidden behind overgrown vegetation and fallen pieces of roofing planks, but if one were to give the roofing planks a tap with their wand three times, a proper entrance would reveal itself to the wielder. However, even once you have stepped inside it is not apparent that you are actually in a building because of all the rubble, plant growth, and cracks in the foundation and walls. To your right as you enter is a wall whose paint is chipping away save for the graffiti of human eyes that almost seem to follow you as you move. Beside them is a door to the Regulation Office has been turned into the reception area for the building. The chairs that are available to sit in are torn and uncomfortable, to probably best to not sit in them at all.

Visitors MUST check in and get a pass before heading further into the abandoned building turned Department of Accidents and Catastrophes.

Using Muggle transportation wasn't exactly bad since Cora had done it throughout her life, being Muggleborn and all. But it was bad that they couldn't actually get into the Ministry. What in Merlin's beard had happened? More faulty charms? Or not so much faulty as intentionally messed with because surely those charms and spells couldn't just happen to fail all at the same time. But who could be doing this, and why? And how?

But those were thoughts for the department meeting coming up probably. Right now she needed to get inside.

It was supposed to be kind of like the entrance to Diagon Alley, wasn't it? She tapped her wand on the roofing planks three times. Ah, yes, there was the entrance. She walked in and raised an eyebrow at the human eyes painting thing on the walls. What was this, The Great Gatsby? She shook her head and carefully made her way further into the department.

Being a Muggleborn, he hadn't really found it too difficult to use methods of transportation uncommon to wizarding folk. The only complication? His wheelchair. On Sherman's very first day of working in a new department, he had to have three kindly Muggles help get him on and off the stuffy bus, only to arrive at a dingy dump. And wheeling over rubble and plant growth was not easy, alright?

But the old man made it to the Regulation Office somehow. Attempting to navigate around the vegetation and fallen roof parts was not easy, yet he managed to tap his wand against the planks thrice without being hit by any of it. Without another glance at his surroundings, Sherman rolled inside.

Merlin. You'd think the government would be able to get better working conditions for their handicapped elderlies, but no.

Tasha was hot and irritated by the time she arrived at Accident's and Catastrophes new premises. Using the muggle transportations to get to work was just horrible. Going by train would have been okay but no Tasha had had to sit or stand squashed like a sardine all the way to HMS Royal Arthur since work had picked up again after the holidays.

Pushing back several wet strands of hair the blond pulled out her wand with an irritated flick and tapped the roofing planks three times impatiently. Heading inside she grumbled under her breath. They needed to figure out what was wrong fast because she was not in the least bit content with this new arrangement.

She was not going to work one minute longer in this dump of a work place than she had to.

Oliver was in his element. Arriving to work the muggle way was so much fun. He was just disappointed that he wasn't able to drive his car here, but with where the new premises were, it was too hard.

So he had hopped on a bus from his house to the train station and took the 7.36 train to HMS Royal Arthur.

He took out his wand as he neared what he supposed was a building but it was hard to tell from here. He tapped the planks three times and waited for the door to appear and once it did, he disappeared through it.

Rusty did this very odd thing called apparating to get to work. No muggle transportation for him, and no skin off his nose being temporarily anywhere. He was a big boy wizard, he could handle it just fine. Not door to door of course, he had to walk some of the way because of zoning reasons, but hey, he had an emergency apparition license, he legally could go where he pleased. Perks of being an Obliviator. He casually headed to the entrance, tapped the board three times, and then went inside. No big deal, though it might be tough to bring Lolly to work with him. Huh. And what about the daycare? Things to look into, clearly.

Jade didn't know whether to be annoyed or amazed by the whole Ministry disappearance/can't access business. Being muggleborn, the muggle transportation wasn't so difficult (she had used the London Tube on occasion) but still being new to Britian made finding the HMS Royal Arthur Navel school more adventurous than it should have been.

As she stepped into the building that would be her workplace for the next little while barely on time (she had only herself and her arrongance to blame for her tardiness), Jade made a solemn promise to herself that she should use the Tube much more often and actually get to know Muggle London beyond the few streets that she already knew.

He wasn't even sure he'd had the right place.

When Jasper stepped off of the bus ride in and walked the distance over to where they'd said the building would be, he started to have doubts. As he made his way through what he thought looked like a pile of debris and overgrown rubbish he was stopped by the knocking sound of his sole hitting what appeared to be a wooden dance floor. No, not a dance floor. It wasn't nearly that fancy and lacked the look of ever having been varnished. It was the fallen roofing plank. The wizard gave a quick glance about to make sure there were indeed no prying eyes as it wouldn't do to have been spotted and reported on your way to a statute violation prevention meeting, would it? He tapped his wand upon the plank and entered when the entrance appeared.

Once inside, he saw that he was not the first to have arrived and whilst he thought about having a seat he thought better of standing after getting a good look at the conditions of the seats.

Jack entered the regulation office and waited for someone to help him so he could get to the gymnasium for the special training which he is excited for.

Mariel was growing more and more annoyed by this Muggle transportation nonsense. It was bad enough that she was taking that wretched bus to and from work every day, but now another in the middle of the day to get to yet another Muggle building designated for the Ministry. She wasn't sure what was taking Transportation so long to get to her airplane hangar, but someone needed to get out there soon so she was at least cleared to apparate. And her employees too. But she would put on her professional face because she certainly knew that she wasn't the only one enduring such suffering. Didn't mean she liked it though.

Now.. what was it she was meant to do? The brunette stared at the overgrown vegetation she knew actually obscured a wall from view, then gave the planks three taps with her wand. She squinted at the entrance that appeared then stepped inside to see that this building wasn't any better than her own. At least the entrance wasn't. Seriously, what was it with these horrible buildings? There really wasn't any place better? Keeping the disdain from showing on her face, Mariel managed a small, professional smile as she received her visitor's pass and made her way through the building for the training meeting.

Charles had taken... ugh... muggle transport. He'd sat next to a muggle who, it seemed, had no concept of personal space or hygiene. So naturally, by the time he got to the overgrown vegetation that was supposedly the entrance to Accident & Catastrophes, his expression was one of a distressed camel.

Surely they could fix the Catastrophe that was this visitor's entrance before anything else? He was not impressed. Charles climbed through the vegetation, wondering how Tasha and her colleagues ever got into work with their clothes intact if this was how they had to get in. Once he'd gotten through most of the vegetation, he met some roofing planks and tapped them with his wand. To be perfectly honest, he was just glad to be getting out of the plants.

Straightening his suit and tie as he entered the mess that was the reception of, arguably one of the messiest departments in the Ministry, Charles looked around and realised that the inside was just as bad as the entrance. He made a noise of discontent and waited with his hands by his side, and his eyes on the least disgusting part of the room just so it didn't feel like he was here. He appreciated his working space SO much more right now. He even had his own office and it didn't have green slimy things growing out of the cracks, too.

Edward followed the directions to the training site as had been specified on the bulletin board. Seemed silly though since many of the wizards he knew would be able to travel rather inconspicously and muggles as a lot were rather oblivious to the presence of wizards. And even if they did notice something, the power of suggestion didn't require much effort to convince them that there really wasn't anything out of the ordinary. For most muggles, if you suggested that they believed in magic then they must be a bit off.

He entered the reception area, which was rather shabby looking for London and ministry standards, but wasn't really any worse than some of the places he'd been over the last few years. Made him feel a little at home.

He found a seat as he looked around and settled down to wait for his turn.

The uneventful bus ride resulted in Lawrence getting sick and nearly vomiting onto a muggle next to him. He ignored the glare he received from that very man as he got off the bus at an abandoned building.

At least he spotted some familiar witches and wizards here, including Charles. Lawrence grinned at him as he walked past, then realized that he was a visitor here and having a pass was mandatory. Groan. The wizard drew up a chair and sat down. At least chairs here were stable enough, unlike those ones back at the Minister's Office.

Yeah...even though he was a little bit disappointed about not getting Mysteries to kiss Evelyn there which could help him work with joyfulness, he was not down when he found the place for the A&C department. This place looked like somewhere that fun things could take place in. Fun as Josh Carter style fun. Abandoned building.

Josh simply stared at the vegetation covering the wall and stuff. Meh. Meeeh. Raising his hands up, he tore some of the plant to have a look at things. Magic going on here, of course. The big man huffed as he did not want to play finding out secret spots to walk in. Maybe he could just blow the wall but that was a violation of security and he was for there for security.

At least finding what he was supposed to do did not take much of his time. Surely he noticed the eyes looking at him on the wall. Stupid face. He had the urge to blast it too. But no no. Instead, ignoring it, he walked in and looked around.

Hearing the alarm go off in his office that a visitor had arrive, Aron had peeked his head out to see if any of his employees was going to take care of things but, seeing no movement, he lazily got out of his desk to take care of the matter himself.

Any excuse to be out of the room really.

"Ah, Carter, hello," he greeted the young man. Surprised Aron knew his name? Department Heads did talk you know, not to mention gossip sometimes spread as bad as teenagers among employees. Carter's pee was legendary. "Emily informed me you might be stopping by. May I examine your wand? Security measure, you understand."

Couldn't be too careful with the times after all.

There his name was spoken. Josh looked and sent a grin at the man. Yeah, of course he remembered the Aron guy. The auror approached the man and gave him a nod of greeting. "Hello" he stole another glance around before looking back at the department head. Emily informed him? Really? Now he was curious what Emily told the man about. Carter coming there so make the preparations? That could be funny. Josh supposed he was safe to have around unless someone ticked him off....somehow. It was not likely that the Aron guy would do that.

He reached for his wand and took it from the belt holster. He was not bothered by other people touching or looking at his wand unless many other. Evelyn hated when someone else touched hers, for example. "Good thing you mentioned security." he said as he held the wand out for the department head to take "That's why i am here."

Accepting the auror's wand, he set it on the scale inside the office for confirmation before coming back out and returning it to him. If the Department Head had had the time he would have had a badge already set up for him, but he had been a little preoccupied with other endeavors as of late. He would do it now though. Official signature and everything.

"If you could just sign in here," he said as he passed a clipboard towards him. "Then we'll be all set and I'll take you on back." He raised an eyebrow towards Carter. "She say what sort of security work specifically?" Or was this more of a 'here, have a Josh Carter for the day' sort of new inter-Ministry loan system Emily was trying out?

Josh inwardly "pfffted" when the department head took his wand to get it checked. Seriously? What did he think he would do with his wand here? He was there for their security and actually there was a lot a Josh Carter would do without using his wand. It was just a check anyway. It didn't have to mean anything and he had his wand back shortly.

But apparently there were more procedures to walk into this department. The auror eyed the clipboard that he was asked to sign. Meh. Without complaining though, he signed the thing and added with tiny words 'I am here for your security' just in case they wondered about it or questioned his presence. Making things easier for the people here. He looked back at the guy when he asked the question. "Checking your security settings and stuff. I will see if you have any weak spots concerning security. And also i am to listen if you and your employees have any requests and needs from my department."

Writing Carter's name down on the visitor's pass, Aron took it upon himself to slap it on the chest of the visiting auror and then banished the rubbish. It was just while he was on A&C territory, nothing to be too embarrassed about. "My only concern with security is the potential for muggles to come poking around," he said with a confident step away from the young man towards the inner area of the abandoned building and nodded his head for the auror to follow. "Spells are holding for now." And they had routine maintenance checks so things SHOULD be perfectly fine.

"As for requests...I am sure we can find something for you to do," he smirked while gesturing towards an open door. "After you."

Josh simply eyed Aron when he casually slapped the tag on his chest. Well...the man was just lucky that he did not mind being touched. After looking down at the tag a bit, he faced the man when he started to speak.

Muggles?

Pfffft. Muggles were not his job. His job was about criminals and he personally preferred dangerous criminals. Playing with Muggles sounded to him extremely boring if not a waste of time. What was the worst that can happen if a muggle ended up walking in anyway? Thee guys just modify the muggle's memory and send him or her out. "I see" he murmured nevertheless not wanting to look uninterested about the case. It was a security matter after all.

Spells are holding. "I am going to check that anyway." yeah, go and try to stop him. Mhahaha. After his gesture, Josh walked towards the door yet he frowned a bit at the department head's words. He would find something to do for him? Eh...the auror was not sure if that was what Emily sent him there for. He would do labour work like cleaning and running errands only for Emily, not even for the Minister himself. Nope, no.

Refraining from saying anything just in case he would sound rude, Josh walked in the next room. Let's see what they have in here.

Of course of course. Giving a somewhat dismissive wave as the auror passed him - yes yes, do whatever it was your job entitled you to do. He got that - Aron gave the corridor another quick glance. Still no where near as clean as back in the Ministry, but at least Sherman could get around with his wheelchair easier.

Pinching the bridge of his nose. Aron sighed to himself before following Carter into the room.
