Level 6 Conference Room
The best place to set up a conference room is somewhere with a lot of SPACE, and in the former shipment holding area, you'll find plenty of it! There are still a bunch of abandoned crates piled up along the walls, but at least that stops everyone's voices from echoing all over the place, right? The tall windows give the room a lot of sunlight, and a whiteboard has been placed at the head of a long table so Cale can make notes during the meeting for everyone to copy down. So take a seat at the long table in one of the comfy wheel-y chairs and get ready to discuss!
Taking notes during meetings is a good idea and would be much appreciated, you may need them for the assigments that will be given. | |

Thankfully, it smelled a LOT better in here than it did out in the warehouse. There was only the TINIEST hint of fish smell in the place, which was good and wouldn't distract them from the meeting. On the whiteboard behind Cale, the topic of the meeting was written in large blue letters:

Yes, obviously since the Ministry has been displaced to the non-magical world, Cale needed to go over things with his employees to make sure no breaches occurred! The LAST thing he wanted to deal with was a muggle seeing someone disappear into thin air and then going to the news about it. It was such a headache.
He waited patiently for everyone to enter the room. When you do come in, feel free to take a DONUT from the box Cale brought!

Jayden set some fresh bagels and coffee for everyone on the table before taking a seat. "Your doughnuts look better." he said before grabbing one and taking a bite into it.
"It smells better in here." he commented with a grin. That was good. Fish smells during meetings were not conducive to being productive.
He then glanced at the board. Apparition and muggle safety. That should be fun.

Taking one, Haley settled into a seat and set her means of taking notes down on the table. "Gentlemen." Hello there. Hi. Huzzah. Howzit. Whatcha up to? Is it home time yet? Will there be more food provided? Where were the ladies of this department? Was she going to personally have to give lady pep talks to turn up to work?! Not huzzzah, girlies.
Not that she cared all too much because she hadn't exactly made brilliant pals with anyone.

"Hello! Hello," Cale said, nodding at each person in turn as they arrived. It wasn't a huge turnout, but he had to get started on this meeting because it was important stuff. Real important. After all, if they could stop muggles from accidentally wandering in here - that'd be AWESOME.
"Alright, so for those of you who are here, thank you for arriving relatively early," he said with a smile. "We're going to get started. Basically, what we're going to do is go to each department and protect the whole place from apparition and muggles. We are also going to set up apparition 'zones' where people can safely apparate without being spotted by muggles," he explained. Sort of like a muggle bus stop, if that made sense?

A thank you was niiiice. See, she liked this guy! He was good at his JOB. And he thanked them and fed them. Haley was going to vote for him for whatever if she needed to. HE HAD A FAN. (Maybe she was just a fan of the food being provided, but that was more than enough, right?!)
Back to the focus though, or...back to looking between the food in her hand and the Boss Man talking. Food. Boss Man. Food. Boss Man. Food. Boss Man. OH. Work to do. They were allowed to eat to their hearts content first though, right? Or was this a false sense of security. Food and then BAM WORK FOR YOU, HAHAHHA?!?! Not huzzah. Hales made a few notes of what was being said, especially as there was very little attendance to this meeting, so that was she'd at least be able to relay the job at hand to anyone who hadn't been here if they wanted to know and wanted to DO THEIR JOB.
Lady pep talks, guys. Lady pep talks were coming their way. COME TO WORK.

"As you can see, I've got the locations of about half the departments plotted on this map. I'm still waiting on memos from a few other department heads as to where their location is," he added. London was a BIG PLACE, he couldn't do all the scouting himself! So he had as many as he could have gotten (on such short notice!) and thought this was as good a place as any to start.
"The goal is to try and set up zones where at least two or three - well, three might be stretching it - departments can use it to get to work. We'll make the area closed off from muggles using similar charms that they use on Hogwarts," he explained. So the muggles thought it was just an abandoned building or something.

Hehe. CALE SEES YOU PATRICK. If the man thought he was sneaking in all sneaky-like, he was mistaken. But instead of getting mad, Cale just chuckled. Did he even know what they were talking about?
"Well, that brings me to my next point - now that you see the map, where should we set up shop? We're the purple dot, by the way," he added, pointing to the left of the map where their marker had been placed.

Jory remained silent, listening to the Department Head. Although he was wondering what was going on at his own Department. The staff from there was definitely scattered all around the place at other Departments.
His eyes wandered to the map. "Maybe somewhere close to as many departments as possible?'' Jory had only suggested this because Transportation was important at protecting the other Departments from Muggles and sometimes they might need quick access to the others.
