Fortress of Brilliance ღ Mommy Quad The first day of summer vacation had officially arrived. And with that, many more bodies flooded the streets of Diagon Alley, as they did every year at this time. It was normal. Chaotic, yes. But normal for them, no less. It was part of what had attracted her to the area, Artemis looked forward to seeing the new and familiar faces explore the shop, eyes often lighting up in that special way only something of childhood could bring out, and Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes brought out the child in nearly everybody whom came inside with their mind open enough to allow it. That was something Artie would never tire of, being able to witness the excitement bubbling from the children finding a new toy of sorts, a new pet puffball.
After checking up on the Pygmy Puffs, making sure they were happy and rolling as usual, Artemis left Jinx (who was hardly a pup anymore, at just over a year old and weighing around 80lbs.) to 'mother' the Puffs and watch over the front of the store, Artie entered the back room just in time to catch Millie pacing, possibly a bit panic-stricken by the look of it, and a tall blonde, boyish figure standing with his back to her. She paused for a moment in the archway of the door, then proceeded to the young man's side and poked him in the ribs, casting a sideways glance up at her younger brother. "Hey you. Came to see me?" Where's my hug? Aheeeeem. Because he couldn't have come with the intentions to scare her new assistant anymore than she already appeared to be. "Millie, dear? You're going to wear a hole in the ground. And that's a bit hard to do.. it's cement." Artie remarked with slight amusement, turning her dark navy blue eyes on the young woman. Poor girl looked nervous! "Are you alright? Would you like some water or something?" She asked, offering a gentle smile. "I see you've met my little brother, Legend." Artie added, figuring it was as good a time as any to introduce the pair since they were both in the same room and could expect to see a lot more of each other throughout the next two months because she did expect visits from her teenage brother while he hung around Diagon Alley with his friends. "Legend, this is Millie. She'll be assisting me with the shop this summer," in case he hadn't figured that one out yet..
