Drew saw that smile. He knew what Annie was doing. She was trying to make his mood better. And it wasn't working! To her joke Drew chuckled. "You are always making jokes aren't you? I wish that would work. But you know I'm a nerd so fake failing some classes wouldn't work." He said smiling slightly. Annie was crazy sometimes.
As Annie sat next to him he rested his head on her shoulder and chuckled as she tried to comfort him. "Shhhh." He said putting his hand over her mouth. "Annie I say this because I love you. You suck at comforting people." He said teasing her.
Drew was right. He was much of a nerd to fake failing school.
"Okay, okay. It was just a suggestion." She kept the joke going, knowing it wasn't really working; Drew wasn't happy about leaving. Nobody was. Hogwarts became more than school to them, it was their home.
Annie flailed in her head. She really sucked at comforting people, no doubt. Let's see, she couldn't comfort her own boyfriend. And that's called failure!
"I know..." She muttered, shaking her head.
