Part of him wanted to fight for her. To tell her that she was making a mistake, but he couldn't. He just couldn't. She looked so upset, and he figured maybe she'd get better, if he wasn't around. He pulled her closer, wrapping his arms around her in a hug. He cared about her a lot, he didn't care if she was dumping him, he still wanted to make sure that she would be okay. "I understand Lex..." It did feel a bit odd, but he did understand. He hated knowing that he made her feel like crap. However much it hurt his heart he knew she'd be better off without him. He pulled back a bit, so that he could look down at her. "I'll still be here for you Lex. I will always be here for you....when you're ready." He smiled weakly at her, before leaning down, and kissing her softly. "I will always love you." He stroked her cheek once more before standing up.
