So this was it. The end. The end of an era, and the beginning of a new, scarier one. And Sarah didn't want to do it. It was with a heavy heart that she packed her trunk with the others, fed Screech some more pellets before leaving him in the secure area - and made her way through the train. She'd never see any of this again, and the thought made her want to cry again. As if her tear ducts hadn't had enough work already.

Taking a deep breath, she peered in the window of the Prefect's compartment, and smiled softly at the sight that greeted her. Lori and her kittens, and Cam and her Pygmy Puff. Good job Screech wasn't there. Sliding open the door, she gave her friends a tiny wave and sat on the seat opposite. "They really are so cute," she sighed, talking about the kitties, and trying to keep the conversation away from the depressingly obvious.
