The brunette was so glad when the girl turned round, and almost smiled but when she noticed a few tears on the younger girls face, her lower lip wibbled. "I love you, Annie." She mumbled quickly, as she tightened her grip around the other girl.

"Listen..." She began, as she leant back, to look at Annie. "I know.. I know I've sucked as a best friend this term, and I haven't been around, but that changes nothing. It doesn't change how much I care for you, and how much I want you around in my life. And I want you to visit me and Adam over the summer, when we've gotten moved into our new house. A.. And.. Annie?" Lori stumbled slightly, as a few tears rolled down her own cheeks, and proceeded to wipe the tears off the other girls face, and then just stroked her face protectively.
