"Ah, okay," Daniel nodded, and had intended to kind of back away and then hover at the counter to watch the door, but she seemed to noticed his face.

There was an awkwardish moment when Daniel tried to look at the cut, before he realised that no matter how much he looked down or forced his eyes down, he couldn't see it without a mirror. "Oh... I'm okay. I had a bit of an encounter yesterday. I've been to St. Mungo's... but I'm just a bit shaken up."

He mumbled something about Knockturn Alley and Dark wizards, and shuddered at the memory.
