He set his goblet back down and nodded with utmost sincerity "Raiden would be proud." he added. Sure he would, if he wanted to be named after a creature that looked like a poster child for Clearasil.
And speaking of the Clabbert-- "Hey Raiden!" the Slytherin lad called out as he spotted the Prefect. He couldnt wait to see that look on his face when he sees Junior.
...Hmmm.
This seemed acceptable enough. Enough to put the smile back on her face.
"It is, isn't it?" she agreed, looking down to the little
deformed rock clabbert. It was THE PERFECT name. MWaha!
Hearing the Slytherin call out to the actual Raiden though, Evelyn whipped her head around to see if he was actually there. Oh goodness, he was. Eep!
SPOILER!!: the actual Raiden and Lexi

"No tears, silly. I'm still here for a little while," he murmured, patting her cheek gently. "While I'm sure some of the staff wouldn't mind my sticking around... I think the rest of the world would take issue with it."
Because he was eighteen, and an adult, and while he certainly hadn't learned all that there was to learn... he'd taken up his time at Hogwarts. It was others' turns, now. He was pretty sure he'd only be in the way were he to lurk around for any longer, heh.
"You'd get tired of me if I didn't leave anyway, I think," he added playfully. "I can be terribly boring sometimes."
His attention was diverted when he heard his name being called, and he looked toward where it had come from. Salander was fairly closeby, so Raiden kinda tugged Lexi along with him toward where the Slytherin was... with Evelyn, it seemed.
And... some thing. No clue what that was.
"Not causing trouble are you, mate?" he asked with a grin.

Still clinging to Raiden she allowed him to tug her closer to Salander. She scowled at him for a moment, still not having forgave him for vomitting outside of Lexi 1's door. But, she couldn't stay mad when she was so sad that they were all leaving to go home soon... and some weren't going to come back. Wibble.
Finally loosening her grip on Raiden she peeked around to see what Sal and taht weird girl had done. Surely it was something ridiculous.
And he was getting closer! Evelyn was beginning to become slight self conscious of her little creation. It wouldn't be embarrassing at all that she named a clabbert after him would he? Would he find it funny?
Well she did...
But there was more to it then a name.
"Hello Raiden." she smiled when he was close enough to talk to Salander.
"And...you." Mmhmm, that Gryffindork girl, whatever her name was. Laney? Lyra? Something. Not that it really mattered. The Slytherin didn't talk to the girl, so she didn't need to know her name.
