Even though she was zoning out staring at the table, Vashti vaguely noticed someone sit down beside her, and once she acknowledged this, she was jerked out of her thoughts. She looked up and discovered that the person was JD. Seemed like forever since she'd talked to him or any of her ~~former~~ fellow Quidditch teammates. The blame for that probably lay in her overall anti-socialness throughout the year. Eh, well.

"Hey, JD," she said, forcing a smile to her face. It then that she noticed the pie sitting on the table in front of him. "What's with the pie?" Seriously, where'd he get that from? Had the feast come up already? Hm...nope, the plates were empty. Not that she was particularly hungry anyway ~~- gasp! -~~ but if it wasn't part of the feast, why did he have a pie?
