Kurumi found herself shaking, once again, at the onset of another one of her finals at Hogwarts. Why couldn't their Muggle Studies final been something related to baseball or drawing stick figures?! She was confident in those fields. Slowly, Kurumi made her way to one of the fallen dummies and stood over it looking down at the pink scarf over its face. Were they supposed to do something with the scarf? Kneeling down, Kurumi took a closer look at the dummy in the same manner a cat sniffs something that is new and unfamiliar.
Wait...had this person suffocated on their scarf?! That seemed rather silly, but Kurumi decided to first remove said scarf. "Excuse me, sir," she said as she pulled off the pink fabric. "Can you hear me?" Not that she really expected it to talk back to her. If it had, she probably would have screamed and run out of the room at top speed. Kurumi didn't pay attention to the face under her scarf at first, but when she noticed the lighting bolt scarf painting, rather poorly, onto the forehead...she felt star struck for a moment. Pull yourself together! This is a dummy made of plastic. She even poked it in the cheek once for good measure to be sure that it was, indeed, plastic.
Phew...time to save this dummy's life! "Sir?" Kurumi was starting to get involved into the acting aspect of this. She had seen one too many doctor dramas with her brothers. "I am going to have to perform CPR. There is no response." Who was she talking to?
Kurumi took out her cellphone and pretended to call the emergency number. "Hello? Yes, this is an emergency. I have found a fallen man in the woods. He is not breathing and there is no response. Please send help immediately." She then hung up the phone in a rather dramatic fashion and turned her attention back to the dummy. Kurumi then placed the heel of her left hand in the middle of the dummy's chest and her right hand on top of the other with her fingers interlaced. She then pushed down gently, but with a little force, until the dummy's chest had compressed about 5 cm before allowed the plastic to return to its usual potion before repeating. She repeated this 30 times before taking a short pause to talk dramatically to her dummy again.
"Sir, can you hear me now?"
She then rested her ear near his mouth and noise to see if she could hear or feel any breathing. Naturally, nothing. She did an overly dramatic sway of her head to the side and looked up at the ceiling as if she were asking for divine help.
Time for the breathing. Kurumi's stomach turned a bit. Did this count as a kiss? She had never been kissed before...nor had she ever kissed someone before. Was her first kiss going to be stolen from a dummy?! Opening the dummy's mouth a bit, Kurumi then tilted its head upwards a bit so the chin was a little higher in the air and then pinched its nose. She then quickly covered the dummy's mouth with her own and blew in until she saw the chest rise a bit. Repeating this one more time, and no visible change in breathing patterns, Kurumi repeated the chest pushing and breathing again.
Still nothing...was her dummy ever going to start breathing?!
Kurumi repeated the process three more times and still nothing. Now she felt like she was failing and losing the life of her poor dummy. Deciding to try again, she felt tears slowly streaming down her face. "P-p-p-professor," she mumbled still continuing with her CPR routine. "I-I-I don't think he is going to breath again..." She still continued to repeat the process and checked for breathing. If her dummy stayed dead...did that mean she failed Muggle Studies?!
