hello...there everybody...posting after a long time...laptop problem...wouldnt bore you guys with the trouble though so here's the new post...


NOSTALGIA


There was laughter ringing from the floor above theirs and the Macmillan parents had a huge smile on their faces.
“really happy to see that girl here” said Melissa
“it was such a surprise when he told us she was here” she continued.
“yeah, she hasn’t changed much though, just the same old smart girl” said Henry
“yeah, and I am really glad that I am getting to hear Shaun laugh like that. When was the last time did he ever laugh like that after coming here?” asked Melissa
“not until now, I am sure. But he has moved on, Mel. He has made good friends just like he had Rahul and Sara. but now with Sara back here I think it will only be better for him hereon” Shaun’s dad said
“yeah, to have someone from your own place, gives immense pleasure and strength” said Melissa



“Have you come across any of our house team mates before you left?” asked Sara sitting on his bed as they were going through their old school Quidditch Team photographs.
“not everyone, but met Mehernaz. Before leaving” he said
“how’s she doing?”
“like everyone else” he said shrugging
“she was thinking of leaving the country just like we did” he said and Sara just nodded and continued to look through the pictures
“hey do you remember this year?” he asked as he showed her the fourth year Quidditch group photos.
“yeah, I do” she said
“and do you remember this guy?” he asked showing her another picture where he was pointing at some guy in the background
“is that Colin?” she asked looking at him
“you are confirming your boyfriend’s face!” Shaun spoke in a fake aghast tone
“oh shut up!” she said and looked at the picture again. it was a picture in the middle of the market place in a town outside the school, where everyone would go for weekends, just like Hogsmeade
“and he is my ex, better remember that!” she added
“missing him?” Shaun asked looking through different pictures from the box.
“oh yeah terribly” she said in sarcastic tone. Shaun looked up smiling “you hate him don’t you?” he asked
“to the core!” she said keeping the picture away and looking through the much younger pictures of theirs
“but you should thank him for one thing”
“and what is that?” she asked
“he gave you your first kiss” he said smirking and Sara picked up the pillow and hit him right on his face and continued hit him
“alright, alright, I am sorry” he said between breaths as she continued to hit him
“sorry, sorry”
“better be” she huffed and sat down and looked at the picture again
“god! how did I even like that idiot and make him my boyfriend!” she said out aloud and Shaun laughed and put his arm around her
“calm down, honey. Its ok. Everyone makes mistakes” he said
“like you did” said Sara and showed him a picture that she found just then and he turned red
“oh my god! that Deepika girl still has that effect on you?” asked Sara
“wha-what effect?” asked Shaun looking away
“blushing and all” said Sara nudging him
“I am not blushing! I am embarrassed” he declared
“oh sure you are” she said smirking
“oh, Shaun, I really do like you, I have never met anyone as good looking and charming as you” Sara started in his ex-girl friend’s voice
And Shaun looked at her horrified and Sara laughed off.
“she never spoke to me like that” he said
“oh but she did make you look like some cute little charming teddy bear whom she could hug and snog all the time” said Sara “when you were hardly ever cute!” she continued smirking.
“one doesn’t snog a teddy bear Sara!” he said
“she probably did, all throughout our 6th year” she reminded him and he didn’t say anything and shook his head. As they were going through the pictures again she came across a certain picture. It was their 5th year picture on the Victorian Terminal Station with Rahul, Shaun, her brother and Juhi.
“Hey, this is Karan’s first year picture with us” she said and he peeked in
“yeah and you are still having that infamous walk man in your hand” he said.
“I mean, even after getting detention because of that in your first year you used to carry that every year!” he said as he was keeping everything back in the box
“yeah thanks to you and Rahul, for nosing around” she said
“that was my only way to pass my time when I hardly knew you people” and Shaun rolled his eyes.
“had you people not bothered to complain I wouldn’t have been in trouble with detention!” she said
“hey we were kids”
“whatever”
“but anyways, it was through that detention that we got to know each other, better” he added and got up to keep the huge box away.
“yeah,” she said and looking at the picture with such fondness that it made Shaun smile and shake his head
‘trust Sara never to change’ he thought.
“mind if I keep the picture with me, I somehow like it” she asked.
“sure”
Shaun walked towards his cupboard to keep the pictures box back and then turning he said
“but you know I haven’t forgotten those cherry pjs of yours that you used to wear in your first year, you even came down to get your walkman in those that night when we got you your walkman back” he said smirking
“oh those, those were my favorite” she said smiling in nostalgia.
“yeah, you looked like round red cherry in it” he said and she picked up the nearby pillows and threw them at him again and laughter rung through the corridor of the Macmillan Mansion…
