ENTRY THREE

So, I woke up. Mind you, in reality I was actually asleep, though the oddities and intricacies of my mind had convinced me that I had just woken from a nice, deep slumber. My eyelids were still heavy with drowsiness as I slumped out out of my bed and walked into the bathroom for a shower. I turned on the water, steam filling the small room. All routine, so far. Normal, right?

Hah. That was when I noticed something fishy.

When I went to pull off my shirt, I stopped dead in my tracks. My arms... they were...... really tan. Really, really tan. Actually, more like chocolate. Extremely perplexed, I leaned my head forward and brought my forearm to my mouth, and - yes - I bit my arm to actually taste whether or not I was now made out of chocolate. But, nope. All flesh. After my weird little chomp session, I ran my tongue over my teeth, realizing that there was something different about those too.

That's it. I needed to see myself in the mirror. I reached across the sink to the foggy glass and wiped away. When I brought my hand back, I literally gave a scream of shock.

I had dreadlocks. I had grills on my teeth and tattooed teardrops from my eyes. My skin was that of an African American and my eyes were now brown.

I was.. I was...

Lil Wayne!

I grinned at my reflection, then realized how un-tough that looked, so I quickly cleared my throat, eliminated the smile and folded my arms like a cool kid.

A really loud shout echoed into my ears, lyrics to my favorite Lil Wayne song.. "Once you go Wayne, everybody else is whack." But, wait..? Did that mean I'd never get to go back to being Aiden?

Just as the worry was about to hit me, something else beat it to it. That is, the door to the bathroom swung open, hitting my head and knocking me out cold. Apparently, I'm guessing.

'Cause that's when I woke up. FOR REALZ.
