Well that was good news. Taking another sip of pumpkin juice, he smiled as he did so, thinking about it. If her father was gone all summer and it was just him and Cosette…oh. "All Summer?" That was quite a long time. "Zoundz good to me." His Summer would be quite boring without Cosette. It was only better that they lived so close apparently. Funny how that turned out! Though the school year was drawing to an end, he was getting rather excited to go home and for the Summer fun to begin.
"I'll go see if zey have zome zen." Before standing up, he gave her a quick kiss on the lips before moving around her chair. "And oui, to ze danze floor. Ztraight afterward. I'll be back in juzt a moment." Or perhaps a minute or so after. Smiling, Noel was just about to head to the food table, but got a tiny bit distracted. Oh! How did he not see his friends?
Cosette could definitely notice the look of satisfaction in his face after her compliment. She never really gave compliments, but when she met him.. well, she couldn't stop. He brought a new part of her, at least whenever he was around. She was still working with the new found 'nice' side to her, but she still had that rough and tough attitude, of course. Smiling, she raised a goblet to her lips and sipped up some more pumpkin juice. Still, some champagne would have been nicer. More bubbly. She liked bubbly.
"You don't 'ave to, amour." He could dazzle her without even trying.
She shrugged her emerald embroidered shoulders. Her father was a busy man, as was her brother. Both men of the Ministry, she always teased them. Once she was finished with school, she would be as well. Just the thought of running off and catching bad wizards.. it got her all hot with excitement. Realizing the large grin on her face and her hands wringing with anticipation, she let out a small chuckle.
"Oui, all summer." Which meant they could have there picnic on the terrace without being disturbed. They could tear up the city on her motorcycle.
"We can attempt thoze guitar lezzons!" She beamed, still wanting to learn the instrument. Hey, if they got distracted, she could always just learn by herself, though it wouldn't be as fun.
"And 'ave zat picnic we keep putting off." A summer was something they both needed. Away from peers, teachers, and homework.

Brielle had no date, but that she did not mind so much, because to be honest, she was looking fine!
Arriving in the hall, the was not at all surprised to see hundreds of fluffy ballgowns, and instantly her concerns over her costume was whipped away. She was different, she was smexy, she was Brielle!
Strutting her way through the room, her tight leather bodysuit showing off her gorgeous physique, Brielle b-lined her way to the Champions Table, where she could see Noel, Cosette, Monique and Jermaine. "Bonsoir!" She smirked completely in character.
After the soft and brief kiss, she patted his hand and smiled. She had lucked out this year, for sure. Noticing a leather clad Brielle, she smiled and got up, her hands holding onto her dress and getting up from her chair. She gave Fletcher a wink before seeing him frolic off to the dance floor with his partner. He seemed to be having a great time. Making her way over to her newest and fellow French friend.
"Brielle, you look abzolutely ztunning!" She meant that. The leather really hung on her features, making her feel a tad jealous she didn't think of wearing something like that too. Was there someone in her love life? There had too, she was wearing something super gorgeous! Wiggling her arched eyebrows up at her, hoping Noel didn't see them.
"Zo, who iz the guy." She stated, knowing something had to be up.
