Stuck inside with Sirius | *Splish-Splash* | bamBAM | ☁ Spooktacular ☁

"I'm sure the possibility is there, if you're not me." Of course it was possible. And maybe others had. But right at this moment Nia didn't see how she would, especially in one evening. Because if they got bored of talking, there was still the dancing bit to do. Or actually eating at the food table. Or she might even persuade him into the Champions seating area eventually. Though that last one was unlikely.

"Nobody?" She watched him look around the room, and was surprised he didn't pick out anyone. "Well if you do...let me know," she said with a small smile.

She smiled and nodded. She felt exactly the same. Who knew what someone might discover about you by reading your thoughts - even if it were unwittingly and innocently done. One's thoughts should be treated closely guarded secrets, as an accidental slip could ruin lots of things. Relationships echoed in her mind. She felt a guilty lurch of her stomach momentarily as she passed the thought to the back of her mind. Why did feel so bad about that? It was in her head. Nobody else knew. And no-one was ever going to know.

"I'm not sure," she admitted, now slightly nervous but hiding it. Because he wouldn't read her thoughts, right? Just her...blushes. And body language. For her around Raiden, that'd give away a decent amount, she was sure. That compared to her in class or on the pitch, say. "I'd be interested to know what you read..." she answered slowly, "But...I wouldn't want to make you uncomfortable." Either of them. It was subtle way of covering her own personal thoughts. Whoever or whatever they were about.

"Mmhmm," she said, a grin her face. "And I know just the person..." She winked. Not that she generally wanted wings. They might get in the way in general daily use. But if she did...well, she knew whose spell work she trusted the most to do it.

"Normal is normal. No more, no less." He didn't get her point, did he? It hadn't been very well argued, admittedly, but still. He was purposely being awkward. And this was now opening up the discussion of what was normal. Hmm.

"I guess I should just take it then," she murmured, tucking back her fringe. Her blonde hair contrasted with the pink warmth of her face. She almost put her hair back where it was to hide it. "Because, I can't argue with the fact that you're smart. Or that you don't lie. Or your self confidence in being correct." She nibbled her lip. "But I don't think I agree. Nor others necessarily."

It was a shame her head dictated her heart, really. Because otherwise, this 18 year old might actually be able to accept a compliment.
