Her hair had gotten pretty long over the term. Maybe a nice trim would be in order when she went back home to Bordeaux over the Summer. She was still in shock that Noel lived there as well and yet she hadn't ever seen him!
Side stepping to the beat of the music, she let out a chuckle as he ran his finger along her face. She felt a shiver run through her when he pushed back her hair behind her ear, almost making her emit a soft sigh. That was definitely a nice feeling. "I am ze luckiezt woman in ze world." She whispered, feeling herself swell with emotions inside. Who would have thought she would meet someone so.. so wonderful within the first year of leaving France. Not to mention he actually was French as well. It was almost comical how that happened.
Did he really not think she wanted to go with him? She had been itching for him to make some notion for weeks now. Maybe he was just shy about it, Brielle had mentioned that he was sometimes. Shrugging her shoulders lightly, she winked and gave him a hearty smile. "Of courze. I wouldn't want to go wiz anyone elze." Which was too true. Anyone else would just make no sense. So he has been wanting to ask her! Her little push was all he needed. Closing her eyes in a sweet and modest fashion, she nodded while looking down. "Why yez. I would like zat, your majezty." She smiled, moving down into a curtsy. Might as well start acting the royal part, oui?
He was such a charmer. Chuckling, she kept up with the tempo of the dance, smiling up at him and feeling like she was on cloud nine. "I 'ope there aren't any other Cozett's you know." She impishly smiled, doing a little twirl in his grip. Now that would be unfortunate to know she wasn't the only one.
Following along with her for a moment to the song before becoming a bit more confident in his steps, yes the beginning was always the ‘hard’ part for him at first, he smiled as he heard her whisper. The luckiest woman?
"We are perfect zen, becauze I’m ze luckiest man in ze world." Obviously, they went together then.
He beamed as he finally knew that she would go with him to the ball. She said 'yes'! in other words. Of course, it didn't really go as he planned, which he had all planned out in his mind but never really got around to doing so because of nerves, however it was still perfect as ever. Dancing with her, with music playing the background, and no one else around. Oui, it was perfect.
And he was being curtsied to? That was a first. Then again, he was a King. Hehe. Perhaps he should bow back...Oops! Nope, he was losing his footing in the dancing. Perhaps a bow afterward. Like people did in other dances.
"None zat I know of." he chuckled as she twirled. Tilting his head to the side, he nodded a few times here and there as if contemplating something, shrugging his shoulders out of instinct.
"Even if zere waz, zere iz only one of you. And I'd mozt certainly chooze you over ze rezt." There was no competition there.
