Taking a deep breath, becoming rather bothered about where the conversation was headed, she smiled and nodded her head, taking her time in sketching the thing that was in the cage. No, she was not going to open the lock! Dumb thing. Quite pointing to it! "I suppose you can say that." It's not like she didn't like the idea of her and Destiny being sisters, but it was just the...reality of it and it could actually come true that was bothering her.
Hmm?
Looking back to the other two, Evelyn stared for a moment before shaking her head. "Destiny will be fine." It's not like Marie was going to punch her or anything.
...
Oh holy...crud. "Marie! C'mon. I know there is no professor here, but we need to get this work done." Like now, and without killing eachother pleeaaassse. If there was any killing, Carter will be the target. Not Destiny.
"Well I don't necessarily think they we were friends after that first meeting." Mia was pretty sure that they weren't but Marie had least stop being so hostile towards by the end of the conversation. "I think it was probably after the second time we met up that we became friends. I listened to her problems about Carter and gave her some ice cream and advice."
Although it had taken Marie a while to actually take her advice and get over the Gryffindor and go out and meet some new guys. Hence the reason for the meeting with Sal. Which by the way she had yet to find out how that had gone.
Mia looked over and Destiny and Marie again. Perhaps she would leave that question until later though. Her friend didn't appear to be in a very good mood right now and if things hadn't gone well with Sal then Marie might take it out on Mia after she had finished with Destiny.
Okay so Mia wasn't particularly smart but she would have to be an idiot to not notice that Evelyn did not want to talk about her and Destiny so Mia let matter drop altogether.
She raised an eyebrow at Evelyn before turning her attention back to the two girls. And crap. Destiny had spilled the beans about Carter. Mia couldn't help herself and she moved towards Marie. "Let's get this assignment done, shall we?"
