"Yeah you, and yeah.... official." His lip curved up into a cheeky half smile and then there was hugging. This was a good thing. Not quite up there with snogging, but well on the way. Of course, he was totally being a gentleman. Jimmy Wilkes was good like that. He shifted a little and whispered in her ear, hugging her back.
"Wanna go to the costume ball thing as my official date?"
Marie's pout turned to a smile when James flicked at her lip.
"Runes is your favorite class? There's nothing wrong with that class, why would I think you were a geek?" Sure it wasn't her favorite class, but she didn't hate it and she did do okay in it.
"Yeah, I've heard of that before. I don't really know much about it though." Maybe this would be something she would have to learn more about... eventually.
It was official, Marie felt like her heart was going to beat out of her chest when Jimmy hugged her back and whispered in her ear. He really did want her to be his date.
"Yes, I want to be your official date." she whispered back. She continued holding onto him as she rested her head on his shoulder. Life was finally good for her again.
Now, what was she going to wear on this date?
