"Really? They think it's food?" he asked with a tilt of his head. "I can't say I've ever had that problem..." Nope. That was a little weird.

"Oh no, it doesn't look bad... I'm sorry if I said anything to make you think that..." he said quickly. He was a bit socially awkward at times and he didn't have the best choice in words. "But it's nothing that isn't a quick... well, quick-ish... fix."

And there he went sticking his foot in his mouth again.

"I... err... think I'll stop talking now." he said with a little laugh. "Is there anything else you might be interested in? That is, if I haven't scared you off yet."
